It looks like fans will soon see the return of the former Attitude Era tag-team "The Headbangers."
The team, which consists of Mosh and Thrasher -- two heavy metal rock-and-roll fan characters -- announced via social media on Friday that they will be returning to the blue brand as part of the SmackDown Live Tag-Team tournament to crown the first ever brand-exclusive World Tag-Team Champions.
Chaz Warrington (Mosh) wrote that he always had a dream that his son could see him wrestle, noting that his dream will finally come true next Tuesday night in Dallas, Texas.
"Ever since Tyler was old enough to realize and understand that I wrestle, I've had a dream/wish," wrote Warrington. "That dream/wish was to wrestle one more time in a WWE Ring so he could see it."
"This dream/wish will come true this Tuesday night in Dallas, Texas," he continued. "I will be on WWE's Smackdown Live show on the USA Network!!"

Wonder if anyone else will be returning tag team wise. Hopefully a team better than these two. Anyone know what they've been up to since they left WWE?

No idea what they've been up to, but I will say I was a big Headbangers mark as a kid. Would be nostalgic to see them in a WWE ring again.

Mid Card

They were under hoods for one Summer a few years ago in ROH for Truth Martini when Michael Elgin and Roderick Strong were the House of Truth and were kind of feuding but not completely yet. They were called the Guardians of Truth and nobody knew who they were for months until they just arbitrarily unmasked and revealed themselves to be Mosh and Thrasher. They had another match or two without the masks and faded into obscurity after that. Otherwise, no idea.

Their first match in WWE for 16 years. Didn't do much, but it was a short match and they didn't look too bad really. Definitely seen an awful lot worse.
