Trump would be hilarious. But that's because I don't live in America, if I did it wouldn't be hilarious at all. He just seems nuts, and I still can't believe that he said on live TV that he would date his own daughter.
Really can't stand Hillary Clinton though. She'd ruin the country worse than Trump I reckon.
So for me if I was being serious, it would be anyone other than these two.

For the most part she would do things practically like Obama, with a few differences of course, like any president. But HIllary is probably the most experienced candidate to ever run for office some would say. Even though I don't like her and she is pretty shady. I would rather have her than Donald Trump. I really wish Sanders would have done better, but the Democrat party and their primary system has really fucked him over. So many voters turned away at the polls that would have probably gave Sanders alot more votes.. 🙁
If anyone here in the US sees this, I say read this article about Jill Stein. She explains why she is a good plan B for Bernie supporters.

I wish Theodore Roosevelt was still around. My views on US politics seem to be like my views on British politics: everyone I support for PM/President are dead.
On a serious note, I did support the idea of Mike Bloomberg but he's ruled that out. Between the three, I don't like any of them. At all. Which is just as well really as I don't have a vote!
On Trump, surely the checks and balances in the Constitution would mean that a lot of his sillier ideas wouldn't pass?

The constitution seems to be "open for interpretation" now days. So I'm sure he could get a lot of them passed, congress is controlled by the republicans..

Dwayne Johnson has said that he'd be interested in running for President one day. Could you imagine how cool that would be, his speeches would be the best political speeches ever made. And if he's running against someone like Trump it would be the most hilarious election ever.
Trump could surely never get the wall built that he wants. It would cost way too much, take way too long to build, and would just look ridiculous. The only people that would profit would be the Mexicans who would have that nice barrier between them and Trump.
What really bothers me about elections is how they always turn things personal. Clinton was at it this week blasting Trump. It's one of the things that I really hate about politics. It's the same over here where the candidates act like children, making personal insults, arguing, etc. There's rarely an adult conversation it seems, which is shocking from people where one of them will one day be running the country.
I've just seen one of the best posts I'll ever see about this election. "Choosing between Trump and Clinton is like choosing whether I want AIDS or cancer"

I seemed so out numbered here on the boards when it comes to where we are from. But everyone pays attention to the US election. My question for you guys is who are you supporting? Trump? Bernie? Clinton?
I've been pulling for Bernie, but his chances are slim at best, and its almost a lock that Hillary is going to be the nominee. My thing right now though is #nevertrump. But I don't really want Hillary either. So I've done some research on some third parties, which are supposed to have a bigger turn out this year than ever. I've found that I agree with most of what the Green Party stands for.
The crappy thing about third parties though is that they aren't on the ballots on all 50 states, which I think is complete bullshit. Every state has different requirements on what it takes to get on the ballot. So any third party is already at a disadvantage because instead of focusing on campaigning and everything, they have to waste most of their energy on just getting on the stupid ballot.
Thankfully Jill Stein of the Green Party is on the ballot in my state and on election day, I will be casting my vote for her. We need to break this two party system we have going on here in the states. Also, we need to have term limits for congressmen. I had to slip that in there, because we shouldn't only care about politics every 4 years. Congressmen sit in their positions for years and years because no one pays attention to them.
