Santino and Hornswaggle were still employed?! Honestly didn't even know they were still with the company.

Shame about Barrett, but he wanted to leave. Injuries and very poor booking ruined him. Was a good talent though and was great on the mic. Shame no one in WWE could see it, and a shame about getting injured so often.

Sandow is a shock/not-shocked one.
Shocked - he was so over during the Miz run that it was unreal. Was probably the most over person in the company at one point.
Not-shocked - was a real shame that WWE didn't capitalise on it and made him irrelevant for a month before relegating him to dark matches. God knows why, but they clearly didn't like that he'd gotten over a ridiculous amount.

Man I'm really going to miss bad news Barrett that was some funny shit. Sandow was really good too but it really means the indies just got a huge star. I would want Zeb back with Swagger to make him relevant again...but, that's just me. Otherwise, I won't miss the rest.

I thought Alex Riley was killing it in NXT (when they featured him) and he deserved to try and make something of it. I know he was there for years but he just seemed such a good fit for NXT.

Sandow is the biggest disappointment from that list. Horribly underutilized, his biggest time of being over was squashed with terrible booking. He deserved better, so I hope he goes to Japan or something, cos he ain't gonna get any better treatment in TNA.

I'd feel bad for Barrett if i didn't already know he was leaving.

Alot of these guys i forgot even existed, i feel bad for Sandow though, feels like he became his own worst enemy for no reason at all... he does what everyone is supposed to do and that's get a reaction from the crowd... he did that with flying colors.... his reward is no tv time for a year and finally his firing... .all for doing his job.

I had heard earlier that Orton might be released but i didn't buy it at all and now it seems to be untrue and the rumor is dead.

I knew Santino was still there but in more of a guest speaker/ Ambassador like role.... ah well.

Sid Vicious has been destroying Cameron on Twitter and has been trolling any fans who have tried to defend her.

Christian has been released now as well. His is a bit different though. He was still on a performers contract to wrestle, but as he hasn't since 2014 and is all but retired, his contract is now over. He does still have a contact in place for the Edge and Christian Show.

I thought he'd already retired.

So had I. But he said the other month that he wasn't. He's been out with concussion related problems (didn't know it was that either), and he made a comment about how everyone has assumed that he's retired, but he isn't officially. I guess he is now though.

People have been questioning why Ryback wasn't on the initial release list given his fall out with WWE. Apparently he was meant to be, and originally was on the initial release list. However WWE have instead decided to just let his contract run out as it would be easier for all involved - part of Rybacks complaining was that he wants all wrestlers to have their contracts paid in full if they're released, so letting his contract run down means he can't then fuel the fire more with complaints about how his contract wasn't paid in full.

Funnily enough, Cameron was reportedly released because of her outspoken support of Rybacks complaints. Probably helps as well that they have nothing for her.

More cuts are expected as well after Extreme Rules.

Gotta make room for all this new talent! I'd imagine Adam Rose to be gone....but everyone else is going well, I can't think of anyone that is really struggling for TV time at the moment. Thank you Jimmy Jacobs!!!

Yeah I'm expecting him to go. Part of me thinks that he won't know... guess it depends on how his recent arrest goes. If they fire him because of it and he's found not guilty, could he sue for wrongful dismissal? Probably doesn't matter in the WWE world and how they do contracts. Easy enough to come up with a different reason to fire him - just show someone a video of his recent matches compared to other people to prove he's shit would do it.

Nah, Rose doesn't have a leg to stand on.

He's already serving a suspension for failing a drugs test and he hasn't once denied the domestic violence allegations, he and his wife are just asking the judge to be lenient so he can go back home and look after his disabled kid.

So really, he's been involved in a domestic violence dispute, and failed a drug test, all within 30 days, that's enough to get sacked if you ask me.

Well if he's not denying it, which you'd think you would do for something like that if you hadn't, then he's a goner. I expect to see him heading the list after Extreme Rules then.

I wish they'd put him back to being Cody Rhodes again instead of Stardust. The Cody character has a lot more mileage in it. It's  shame that WWE don't know what to do with him as he's a talented guy. If they let him go I'll be disappointed.

Keep him on, bring back the Cody character and get him back in the IC Title pic.

I still think they could have pulled off a tweaked Stardust.

WWE have now released Cody Rhodes. A real shame, but they were doing nothing with him for some reason. Hopefully he finds somewhere where he can shine and come back to WWE in the future in a better spot.

EDIT: Rhodes apparently asked for his release because he'd been asking WWE to let him go back to the Cody Rhodes character for the past six months, and they wouldn't let him. Can see why that would be annoying to him, stuck as a character that he didn't want to be all whilst the writers had nothing for him to do.

Well it looked like Ryback could be next on the release list. For some reason he thought it would be a good idea to post a Tweet asking whether fans wanted him to go to TNA and to vote during the Extreme Rules PPV. Don't think I've ever seen someone mention going to TNA whilst still working for WWE - quite ballsy, even if it is a joke. Can't imagine there are many people in WWE management who would have found it funny though, unless they take the view of it being a massive step down career wise with TNA's current state.

Adam Rose has been granted his release after asking for it.

Just speculation from Cody Rhodes latest tweet about being ride or die but I have a feeling we will get word of Eden requesting her release tomorrow.

Turns out that the Brooklyn Brawlers small mistake that led to his release may be the Brawler calling into Taz's podcast. Seems kind of petty to me.

WWE have apparently offered Cody Rhodes a new deal. A legends one, so that they can continue selling his merchandise with his likeness and name but with no appearances included.
