As noted, WWE Superstar Ryback was sent home from Monday's RAW following an alleged contract dispute with WWE management.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, Ryback had a meeting with WWE officials on Monday regarding his contract with the company, which is set to expire in a few months.

It was noted that Ryback either met with Vince McMahon or Triple H and did not like the new contract offer that was given to him. It was at that point that it was suggested that he go home, to which he agreed.

The current belief is that unless there is a reconciliation, this could be the end of Ryback's run with WWE. If that happens, he would be paid the remainder of his existing WWE contract.

Personally wouldn't miss him. Not that I dislike him - he's actually quite decent in the ring. His booking though isn't great and I can't get on board with someone calling themselves "the big guy".

The guy has a lot of passion and seems to be legit hungry to be someone in the pro wrestling business... i'm sure we will see him again at some point if this does not work it self out... i just don't know what he is missing.

It seems that Ryback want's equal pay - so he either wants as much as someone like Cena earns, or he wants people like Cena to have his contract cut. That's ridiculous. For a guy who only just gets on pre-shows for PPV's to earn as much as main eventers? No.

Yes, the matches are all predetermined, so not like other sports, but some guys have more appeal about them, more star power, more ability to sell merchandise, etc. Going back to Cena - he's no where near the best wrestler, but he has appeal, has star power and sells a shit load of merchandise. And he works hard for that. Too right he should earn more than someone like Ryback. Ones an asset to the company, one wouldn't be missed at all.

Its sad that sometimes no matter how motivated you are and how hungry you are, that doesn't change the point that you just aren't good... I would not miss him one bit if he left the WWE. At work sometimes I have had discussions with some of my coworkers like "Its a shame hes such a hard worker, but he just sucks at his job..."

Ryback has the passion, I don't doubt that. And despite the haters he is a good worker. But he's not the megastar he wants to be and never will be.

Mid Card

My favorite thing he ever did was when one of them came back from injury  he and Curtis Axel had at backstage segment where they basically acknowledged that Rybaxel was total shit hahahaha....on Superstars no less!!

To the surprise of no one, Ryback has announced that he's left WWE. Can't say he'll be missed. They could have done something with him, but with how he was booked there's nothing to miss.

Personally, I thought they ruined him when they had him call himself "the big guy". Stupid thing to refer to yourself as, and he wasn't even the biggest guy there. Just hated that for some reason.

I'm glad he's gone. He was terrible. Can't remember anything of his that I was remotely entertained by

Main Event

His run was remarkable in it's unremarkableness... I think they were trying to package him as a new version of Hulk Hogan from the 80's. @'Eat your vitamins and say your prayers' or something. Either way it didn't work and it's not a loss that he's gone.

Ryback is looking at moving over into MMA. He's gonna get his ass handed to him worse than CM Punk.

I don't think it's possible to get your ass handed to you worse than Punk. Ryback at least has some weight on him.
