It's a solid card and I'm cautiously looking forward to the show.

I'll certainly take this.
[In my best pirate voice] *peers through looking glass*....Brand Split, HO!!
Owens/Zayn will steal the show. I really hope they just let those two show what they can do.
Great to see the Vaudevillains on a PPV as well, been waiting for them to be called up so will be hoping that they win.
This is an odd PPV for me... I don't care for most of the matches, and yet I have high expectations. I have no interest in Ambrose and Jericho as the feud is boring to me, but it should be a good match. Same goes for Miz and Cesaro, Charlotte and Natalia, Reigns vs AJ (providing they keep it no more than 10 minutes as Reigns just looks bad in long matches), the tag match. I don't care for them, but they should be good matches.
I actually think Ambrose/Jericho has been one of the better feuds since Mania. Really hoping they knock it out of the park.

There's talk that Balor will make his main roster debut at Payback, interfering in the AJ Styles - Reigns match along with Anderson and Gallows.
Now I've seen a few people saying that they're expecting Anderson and Gallows to actually align themselves with Reigns as a heel turn for him, and that Reigns has been with them all along making AJ think that he can trust his old pals. Not sure whether I like that idea. Like the idea of Reigns as a heel, as he's very likely make a great heel. But it would be nice to see AJ, Balor, Anderson and Gallows as one stable in WWE where they take over. Would be fun.
Well that was an okay PPV.
Shame about the first match. Couldn't work out whether Enzo was meant to run the ropes and slipped, or was meant to slide under the ropes and misjudged... but it looked fucking nasty. The first shot they showed of him on the floor afterwards my mate said "shit, he's dead" as he was prone with his eyes open. Proper knocked himself out. Glad it's nothing more serious than a concussion, even though they can be very serious. But it's better than a broken neck or brain damage that impacts his everyday life. Not a great way to start the night.
Wasn't surprised to see Owens-Zayn match be match of the night. Just glad they were given some time. Great match. Was also pretty cool having Owens demanding an interview after the match and then inviting himself to do commentary for the IC Title match.
Only two things I wasn't happy with all PPV, which was quite nice really. There's usually a few more than that. Hated the finish to the Womens Title match... that was such bullshit. That was what, the third time they've done something like that now? Should never have done it again after the original, as nothing will ever come close to that as it was actually legit and had all the emotion afterwards. Should be left as a one off in history and never touched again as it only made a good story because it was legit. Repeating that to further a story is just shit. Hate it.
The other was the ending of the Reigns and AJ Styles match. Reigns actually had a good match, but it's how they booked the ending that annoyed me. Reigns takes the double team move from Anderson and Gallows, then the flying forearm from Styles and he kicks out. Styles doesn't have the Uso's attack him, but he takes Reigns finisher and that's it. It's like when they were booking Cena to beat all odds. I get keeping the belt on Reigns (even though I want AJ to be the champ sooner rather than later) as they build up he's had it would be pointless to remove the belt in his first defence, but it was basically 3-on-1 at one point and Reigns still didn't look anything other than strong. All the Uso's did when they came out was stop further interference... would have been better if they'd helped Reigns by laying out Styles to equal what A&G did to Reigns. The ending could have been booked a lot better and I think it ruined what was actually a decent match.
