I liked this show - the segs are decent, commentary is good, and match writing is solid. Only real gripe is in there being commentary for one match, but not the other. Otherwise, I thought it was a pretty good show that kinda reminded me of back in the day, in good ways. Right on!

Nice show. Both matches were well written, the segs were solid, nothing to complain about.
Fans Bring The Weapons match and the added "winner chooses the stipulation" should make Soul Survivor a lot more interesting.
If the shows continue like this, they're just going to get better and better.
Good job, all around.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Yeah, didn't notice that before, good point there Paige. Well, for the next few shows at least there'll be some consistency with Compy writing them all, so we can look forward to commentaries on all the matches.
I enjoyed the show, the matches were good, told a decent story, and as there were only two and no other segments apart from my own, having full matches didn't feel like too much of a chore to read ;-)
I especially liked the little welsh thrown in there Rhys, though I'd imagine only myself and Compy were able to understand that, but maybe we can take it somewhere :-D
I look forward to seeing what happens in Soul Survivor.

I notice inconsistencies with the name of the event - is it officially "Sole Survivor" rather than "Soul Survivor"?

The pyros go off, and 4CW Storm Front is on!
Phoenix: Welcome to 4CW Storm Front, coming to you live from Detroit, Michigan! I’m Scott Phoenix, and with me is Ray Jeffrey and James Roberts, and guys, I hope you haven’t eaten too much chocolate during our Easter break!
Jeffrey: Hey c’mon man, that’s pretty blasphemous.
Phoenix: What?
Jeffrey: Easter’s one of the holiest days of the year, and you’re just associating it with chocolate.
Roberts: Since when have you cared?
Phoenix: Yeah? Look up blasphemous in the dictionary and there’s a picture of you.
Jeffrey: I’m Catholic, I’ve always cared.
Phoenix: …right. Well anyway, tonight we’ve got the last two qualifying matches for this year’s Sole Survivor tournament –
Before Phoenix can finish, he’s interrupted by 4CW General Manager Max Clay, who appears on the 4CWTron sat behind a desk in his office.
Clay: Sorry to interrupt you Scott, but speaking of Sole Survivor, I’ve got a little announcement to make. I’ve always felt that Sole Survivor works best when there’s an element of unpredictability involved, so I’ve decided to give this year’s tournament a “pick your poison” theme. It’s simple really; the winner of each round gets to choose the match stipulation for the following round. For the ultimate advantage, surviving into the next round isn’t good enough, you need to win and choose your match! To start things off, I’m going to pick the stipulation for the first round, and it will be a personal favourite of mine: a Fans Bring the Weapons match!
The fans cheer Clay’s announcement, as the 4CWTron fades to black and we go back to the commentary team at ringside.
Phoenix: Wow, what an announcement!
Roberts: This certainly changes the dynamics of the tournament. Teaming up to get rid of the threats won’t be enough now, each competitor needs to win to choose an advantage for themselves.
Jeffrey: And a Fans Bring the Weapons match! I love those ones! I wonder if we can bring some stuff too.
Phoenix: I don’t see why not.
Once again, poor Phoenix is interrupted as the lights dim in the arena and “Wherever I May Roam” by Yashin hits the PA.
Robertss: And here comes a man who must be on cloud nine right about now.
And right on cue, Brian White comes onto the ramp.
Carson: Introducing at this time, Brian 'The Freight Traaaaiiin' WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIITE!
White enters the ring as the crowd cheer and boos, generally making a lot of noise, remembering the main event from the previous show. White smiles grimly as he paces the ring, microphone in hand, taking it all in.
“Yeah, yeah, I know... Booooooo! Booooooo! Heh heh heh!
For those that don't know and been living under a rock these last few weeks, my name is Brian 'The Freight Train' White, and I'm the man that left two of 4CW's finest lying on the matt in defeat last time.”
The crowd begin booing again as White seems to laugh at the reaction.
“Yeah, I beat Sery, I beat The Bruiser, Rhys Cain, and I'll continue to beat anyone in my way until I am the Soul Survivor!”
The reference brings another tirade of boos and cheers from the crowd.
“I've been waiting a long time for this. I was here before, yeah, just before the doors closed and my push was cut short.” From the look of his face, White till feels hard done by about this. “I was a rookie, learning what it was like to wrestle in the US, and then they told me to go home cus the company was going under. Heh, just my luck!” The jeers continue a little bit.
“So I went back home to Wales, back to the bare knuckle fights in the dockyards. It was fun to an extent, but it wasn't 4CW, so you can imagine how happy I was to get the call that we were coming back. And this time I'm gonna do what I never got the chance to do last time! I'm gonna go all the way to the top of this company and anyone who finds themselves in my way... Heh, well, they better watch out. Cus you are looking at the Next 4CW World Champ!”
The music comes back on the PA as White laughs and drops the mic and walks towards the ramp. Half way up he turns back to the ramp and lets out a he “WHOOOO! WHOOOOO!” before heading to the back.
In the arena, the lights dim and two spotlights appear on stage with a rusty brown looking tint taking over the rest of the arena. Those spotlights come up one by one as the first couple rifts of “With A Little Help From My Friends” by Joe Cocker start up, revealing them to be occupied by none other than Tom Foolery and Bally Hoo...Debauchery! Foolery starts off by absurdly lip syncing alone as if he were speaking to the crowd…
“What would you think if I sang out of tune?
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song...
And I'll try not to sing out of key…”
The rest of the tune plays as both members of Debauchery happily stroll down the 4CW rampway, lip syncing the entire song as some of the crowd members join in the fun and show their admiration for the mischievous tag team.
Carson: This bout is set for one fall with the winner earning a position in the 2016 Sole Survivor Tournament to crown a new 4CW World..Heavyweight..CHAMPION!!
Introducing first, from New Jack City and weighing in at 202 pounds...TOM...FOOLERY!!
"Dolcissimae...
Oh Fortuna...
Venit Meos..."
The arena goes from dark to an explosion of pyro as the song changes and Sven Stromberg appears from behind the curtain. He stops at the top of the stage and peers over the crowd with almost a detached indifference. He then marches down the aisle, neither slapping hands with any fans, only stopping to smile at any attractive women ringside. He slides into the ring and takes a deep breath before turning and giving a death stare to Tom Foolery across the ring, forcing Tom to cower in the corner for safety!
Carson: ...and his opponent, hailing from Goteborg, Sweden and weighing in at 260 pounds...SVEN STROMBERG!!!
DING! DING! DING!
Tom pokes himself out of the turnbuckle he fell into for cover from Sven’s menacing stare. The two begin to circle each other and eventually lock-up. Sven overpowers the much smaller Tom almost immediately and forces him into the corner on three separate occasions. Foolery never gets frustrated or faulted and just keeps going in for more. On the fourth try, however, he ducks the lock-up and goes behind, landing some rough forearms to the shoulder blades of the gigantic viking, pretty much to no avail. Sven simply goes from slightly bent over to standing straight up during the shots, only to turn around and get a short running start so he can fly a bit and clock Tom with a spot-on headbutt!!
Phoenix: Oh no! Sven with the Odinsram! Let’s see if he can get the win here.
The ref gets down as Sven goes for a relatively lax cover…
1…
2…
NO! Foolery powers out and shakes his head of the cobwebs a few times before making it to his feet.
Tom doesn’t last long on his feet as he gets clotheslined out of his boots and he does a 360 in the air! Stromberg begins celebrating his dominance and showing the crows his intensity. Just then, Bally Hoo...a man who has already qualified for the Sole Survivor Tournament, gets on the apron and begins to distract Sven. Hoo can be heard calling Stromberg a wannabe viking that couldn’t even drive a longboat even if it had a push-button engine. Sven is enraged and goes for a wild punch that Bally ducks, giving Foolery the opportunity to go for a School Boy…
1…
NO!
Stromberg rolls through and is even more pissed off than before! With a few snarls and snorts, he rallies up and violently spins with all possible momentum and comes crashing through Foolery’s jaw with a spectacular spinning back fist. Tom drops to the mat like a sack of potatoes.
Jeffery: Welp, it was nice knowing you Tom Foolery. Looks like Bally Hoo is gonna become a singles guy.
Roberts: ...at least he’s already got a good start by qualifying for the Sole Survivor, right?
Jeffery: Shut the fuck up new guy.
Roberts: I’m not new! I’ve been commentating with you for the past 12 years!!!
Jeffery: *audibly slaps Roberts on the back of the head, his headphones can be heard falling off and fumbling all over the table*
Sven goes for the cover on Foolery, looking up with a dastardly face. The referee counts..
1…
2…
NO! Sven pulls up Tom Foolery’s head to break the count.
Phoenix: Come on now, this is just un-called for. That kid damn near got decapitated by you, Sven! Let him go lose with a little dignity.
Jeffery: Take his head off Sven! Finish him, you can do it! You can do it all night long!!
Sven smiles as he pushes the limp but now standing Tom Foolery into the ropes only to have him bounce back and take an epic Heart Punch.
Roberts: Oh! Ow! Sven calls that The Thorn. I call it the end of the match.
The referee shakes his head at the amount of punishment just dished out to Tom Foolery in such a short time before going for the count.

3!!!
Carson: Here is your winner, one half of the Norsemen...SVEN...STROMBERG!!!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
We’re back from a break, and "Narcissistic Cannibal" by Korn plays, signalling the arrival of former 4CW Heavyweight Champion, Rhys Cain. Out comes "The Bruiser" Rhys Cain, dressed for competition, to the stage, to a decent pop from the crowd.
Carson: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following tag team contest is scheduled for one-fall, and it is a Sole Survivor qualifying match. Introducing first, from Swansea, Wales, the United Kingdom, 2the Bruiser” Rhys Cain!
Rhys has a jacket on over his wrestling attire and a mic in hand as he gets into the ring and does his usual schtick.
Roberts: Here comes "The Bruiser" and last week he came up short as he lost the triple threat Soul Survivor qualifier - but he does have a second chance tonight as he teams with Pilgrim Paige to take on Sery and Senneca later tonight to qualify for the Soul Survivor Tournament.
Jeffrey: I don't see why they all deserve another chance but whatever.
Rhys Cain waits for his music to cut and for the crowd to quieten before talking.
Cain: Last week, I had an opportunity to qualify for the Soul Survivor - and I was well on my way to doing it, until Brian White, well, technically he didn't cheat, but he used underhand tactics to win. The guy is twice my size and it took a low blow to take advantage of the match. That's fine. I'm over it. Because tonight; I have a second chance. I have one message for Pilgrim Paige: I hope you bring your A-Game because I'll be bringing mine. As for my fellow countryman, The Freight Trein, when Paige and I qualify, we'll see each other in the tournament... and I have just one message for you too: Dwi'n dod i chi. Rhedeg.
But I didn't just come out here to talk about that. For any of you old school 4CW fans you know that the last couple of years, Carstein has been a major thorn in my side. We've been to hell and back and to hell and back again. It's been a rollercoaster ride, mentally and physically. I came back and I was going to sweep it under the rug and focus on Soul Survivor: and I will be focusing on Soul Survivor but I can't sweep Carstein under the rug. I've never been a guy to beat around the bush: I want Carstein, in the ring, one last time, no bullshit, so we can end this once and for all.
The crowd pop at this and a "Bruiser-Carstein" chant breaks out. The camera pans close to Cain and it looks like he wants to smirk but he doesn't. He stares directly into the camera.
Cain: You've always craved the attention, Carstein, and now you have an arena full of people chanting your name... and I know, deep down, it's eating away at you that you beat me for the title and within a month, it all crumbled before your eyes and there was nothing you could do about it. And now, I'm back, 4CW is back... but you are hiding in the shadows. Your girlfriend has bigger balls than you since she's actually got an interviewing gig. Maybe I should let her have an exclusive interview so she can look into my eyes and see the hate brewing. I'll lean in and let her see the destruction in my soul that I need to unleash. Will you come back then, Carstein, if your mistress tells you with her own words how terrifying I am? Because I may respect the hell out of these fans and love this buisness but thanks to you, I'm more dangerous than I've ever been in my career.
Cain walks even close to the camera and leans on the ropes.
Cain: I've been in a really dark place, Carstein... and I know you think that was your goal the whole time but trust me, this darker side of me, you can't handle. You've created a monster more vicious than you. Except while you go around wreaking havoc to anyone you see, all of my anger and all of my destruction is aimed at only you. When our paths finally cross, and I guarantee you, eventually, they will, you will never be the same wrestler again. Hell, you won't be the same man again. You set up your own demise and you crafted me as the weapon to strike you down... I'll be waiting, Shadow Creeper.
Rhys throws the microphone away and takes off his coat as the lights dim and "The Astral Dialogue" by Agalloch blares. A thick layer of purple fog envelopes the stage, and Pilgrim Paige appears through the fog, wearing a black leather jacket over her usual ring attire.
Carson: And his partner, hailing from Newfoundland, Canada but now residing on... The DAAARK Side of the MOOOON... weighing in at 143 pounds... PILGRIIIM PAIIIGE!
After a brief scan of her surroundings, the song's beat picks up with a growling vocalization and she takes off running to the ring, sliding in under the bottom rope and arising. After removing her jacket and tossing it to ringside, she walks to the middle of the ring. Paige spreads her arms wide and draws back her head, screaming aloud and turning in a circular motion while a burst of purple pyro shoots from each corner post. The lights return to normal as she removes her Trans Pride necklace, sets it aside and commences running the ropes in preparation for the match.
Billy Talent’s “Red Flag” plays, and out comes Sery to a big pop from the crowd!
Carson: And their opponent, from Antigo, Wisconsin, Sery!
Sery slides into the ring, and jumps up onto the second rope, raising his arm into the air as his partner comes down to the ring.
Carson: As his partner, Senecca!
Sery seems enthusiastic to start things off, but Senecca’s not having any of it. He gives Sery a stern look and points to the ring apron. Sery goes to argue, but Sen cuts him off.
Senecca: You fucking stand over there and let me sort this out. Got it?
Sery holds his hands up as if to say “whatever”, and heads over to the ring apron. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ring, Rhys Cain and Pilgrim Paige seem to agree to a strategy, as Paige heads over to the apron without any argument.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Senecca and Rhys slowly approach each other in the middle of the ring. The two go nose to nose, staring each other down.
Phoenix: You know, I can’t really remember a time when these two have gone at it properly.
Sen grins as he steps backwards, motioning for the championship belt.
Sen: It’s my time, and that belt’s mine!
Rhys: Over my dead body.
Before Sen can reply, Rhys delivers a stiff forearm to Sen’s face. The big man stumbles backwards, and Rhys catches him with another forearm. Sen falls into the ropes, and Rhys grabs his hand and Irish whips him into the opposite ropes. Sen bounces off, and comes charging back towards Rhys, only to be met with a drop kick to the face.
Senecca crashes to the mat. Rhys grabs Sen’s foot, in the hope of locking in a submission hold. But Sen wriggles free and quickly gets back to his feet. He throws some rights to get Rhys away. The first two connect, but on the third, Rhys ducks and dives into Sen’s legs, once again causing the former Tag Champ to come crashing down to the mat. Rhys springs up, and dives onto Sen, hitting an elbow drop onto his kidney area. Rhys gets up, and hits another elbow. He then grabs a hold of Sen’s legs, and locks in a Boston Crab.
The pain spreads through Senecca, amplified from the softening up Rhys gave his kidneys from the elbow drops. Sen waves him about frantically, trying to grab a hold of the ropes. Sery cheers him on. Alas for poor Sen, the ropes are nowhere near, so he tries crawling over towards them. Without too much effort, he crawls enough to be able to grab a hold of the bottom rope.
The ref tells Rhys to let go, but he waits until the count of 4 first, trying to inflict some more damage on Sen’s lower back. Rhys let’s go, and stomps away on Sen’s back, who’s still clinging to the bottom rope. The ref bets in between the two, and forces Rhys to back off.
Sen, free from Rhys’ attack, rolls under the ring to the outside to get his breath back. He turns around to face the ring, just in time to see the Bruiser hurtling towards him like a missile through the ropes. Rhys torpedoes into Sen and the two fall down hard to the mats.

4!
Rhys gets to his feet, and makes his way over to the ring.
5!
Sen stirs, and holds onto the crowd barrier to get himself up. Rhys meanwhile slides into the ring.
6!
Sen slowly walks to the ring.
7!
Rhys goes to the ropes in an attempt to stop Sen from getting back into the ring, but the ref yells at him to back off. Rhys walks off, and Sen slides in. Before he has a chance to do anything, Sery slaps Sen’s shoulder, tagging himself into the match. Sen spins around as Sery hops into the ring.
Sen: What the hell are you doing?
Sery: Getting into Sole Survivor.
Sen climbs to the ring apron, then tags himself back in before Sery can do anything. Now it’s Sery’s turn to be angry as Sen once again gets into the ring.
Sen: I told you to stand over there. Sery goes to the ring apron, and Sen, angry, gets into Sery’s face, staring him down.
Sen: Stay there.
Sery, determined to get into the match, slaps Sen hard across the face, which the ref accepts as a tag. Sery slides into the ring, and the ref yells at Sen to go to the apron. Sery mouths “watch and learn” to Sen, then turns around to be met with a big boot to the face by the Bruiser. Sen, still angry at Sery, shakes his head.
Rhys hoists a more surprised than groggy Sery to his feet, and throws him up into the air for a German suplex. Surprised though he may be by the big boot, Sery realises what’s going on, and lands on his feet behind Rhys. Sery grabs the Bruiser and throws him up for a German suplex of his own. Just like his smaller opponent, Rhys lands on his feet. Once again behind Sery, Rhys grabs the back of Sery’s head to hit a bulldog. But Sery stands his ground, and Rhys slides forward down to the mat. With Rhys sat down on the mat, Sery jumps and hits a dropkick to back of Rhys’ head.
Rhys rolls over towards the ropes, and tags in Pilgrim Paige. Paige leaps over the top rope into the ring, landing on Sery and hitting a hurricanrana. Paige rolls and gets back to her feet, and Sery follows suit. Paige immediately darts towards Sery, and knocks him down with a clothesline. Sery gets to his feet, only to be met with another clothesline.
With Sery down, Paige drops down to her knees, and grabs a hold of Sery, locking in the Moonbow, her version of a cross-legged bow and arrow hold. With his back arched across Paige’s knees, Sery lets out a small yelp of pain. Meanwhile, over on the ring apron, Senecca’s not sure whether to laugh or cry as Sery’s locked into the submission hold.
The ref checks on Sery, asking if he wants to submit. Sery shakes his head, so Paige arches his back across her knees further. Worried that Sery might tap out, Senecca rushes into the ring, and kicks Paige on the back of her head. The ref yells at Sen as Paige drops Sery. Sen goes back his corner and Sery scrambles over to the ropes.
Paige gets to her feet and follows Sery, only to be met by a right forearm to the face by the Seryous One. Paige stumbles backwards, and Sery pulls her forward for a DDT. Paige’s face meets the mat, and Sery goes for a pin.

2!
Kick out!
Sery climbs to his feet, bringing Paige up with him. He Irish whips the newcomer into the ring corner, and charges into her with a big splash, sandwiching Paige between himself and the turnbuckles. Sery bounces backwards, and Paige slumps down to the mat in a sitting position. Back on his feet, Sery leaps at Paige, hitting a double-dropkick. Sery rolls backwards, and gets back to his feet. He pulls a groggy Paige out of the corner, and hoists her into the air with a vertical suplex. The pair come crashing down, and Sery once again goes for a cover.
1!
2!
Kick out!
Sery looks a bit annoyed as he stands up. Paige rolls over to the ropes, and taking hold of the bottom rope, then the top rope, pulls herself up. Sery runs at her, but Paige drops down, pulling the top rope with her, and Sery crashes to the outside. Paige climbs onto the ring apron, staring down at Sery. She points at her fallen foe, takes a few steps back, and then hits a running dive.
Paige gets to her feet, and raises her arm, the fans cheering her on. She lifts up Sery, and rolls him into the ring. Sery quickly scrambles over towards Senecca as Paige climbs into the ring. Paige is in and stands up just as Sery manages to tag in the big man. And in he comes, grinning like a madman. He slowly makes his way over to Pilgrim Paige, who’s standing in the middle of the ring, and mouths “fresh meat”.
Just like with Rhys earlier, the two stare each other down. Sen points at the mat.
Sen: Lie down, you don’t belong here.
Paige just stares at Senecca, staring right into his eyes, reading his soul.
Sen: Lie Down! Or get out of my ring!
Instead, Paige kicks Senecca in the shin, causing the big man to buckle and fall down to one knee. Paige runs into the ropes, bounces off, and flies into Sen with a flying knee. Senecca falls to his back, and suffers further pain as a now-standing Pilgrim Paige flies into the air with a standing moonsault, crashing down onto Senecca. Paige goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Kick out!
Paige doesn’t believe it. She thumps the mat in slight frustration. Rhys looks on concerned; worried that Paige might be letting her guard down by showing frustration. Paige gets to her feet, close enough for Rhys to reach out and tag himself in. Paige spins around, annoyed at Rhys. The Bruiser ignores her and he rushes into the ring, and dives onto Sen with an elbow drop.
But Senecca rolls away, and Rhys crashes and burns. Sen rolls to the ropes, and Sery, just like Rhys, tags himself in. Sen doesn’t realise, and looks on annoyed as Sery runs at Rhys. Just as Sery reaches Rhys, the Bruiser grabs Sery by the throat, and uses Sery’s own momentum to hurl him into the corner with a devastating chokeslam. Sery smashes into the turnbuckles, and bounces down onto the mat, out cold.
Sen gets up, but Paige dropkicks him to the mat, to stop him from interrupting Rhys’ pin on Sery.

Ding! Ding! Ding!
Carson: Here are your winners, Pilgrim Paige and “the Bruiser” Rhys Cain!
Rhys and Paige stand in victory in the middle of the ring, arms raised in victory.
Phoenix: Well there we have it, Rhys and Paige have qualified for Sole Survivor!
Roberts: Rhys’ one step closer to regaining that World Heavyweight Championship!
Outside the ring, Senecca looks on in fury. He can’t believe it! That match was his, he was meant to go on to Sole Survivor and win his first World Championship! He looks around and sees Sery.
Senecca: Mother fucker!
Like a rampaging bull, Senecca charges at Sery, smashing him down to the ground. Rhys and Paige watch on from the ring, as the ref shouts at Senecca to leave Sery alone. Senecca ignores the ref, and pounds away on Sery.
Phoenix: What the hell’s going on?
Jeffrey: A good ol’ fashioned tussle!
More refs and backstage agents appear from the back, pulling Senecca off of Sery. Sen tries to fight them off, but there’re too many of them. They pull him away, and march him up the ramp. Sery gets to his feet, and sees Sen being marched away. He turns to look at the ring, staring at the victorious duo of Rhys Cain and Pilgrim Paige.
Roberts: Well this is all we’ve got time for tonight! See you next time folks, when Sole Survivor kicks off!
