It looks like the WWE Divas division is getting a facelift starting next week.
The news surfaced on Wednesday that WWE plans on rebranding their Divas division as the Women's division, complete with a new WWE Women's Championship belt to replace the current butterfly-designed WWE Divas Championship.
According to reports, the new belt will have a similar look to the current WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but will be a smaller version that is mounted on a white leather strap.
The announcement regarding the change from Divas division and Divas Championship to the Women's division and the Women's Championship is expected to be made on the WWE RAW the night after WrestleMania 32, which takes place next Monday, April 4th from Dallas, Texas.

What's wrong with bringing back the old womens belt? I don't like the design of the WWE title, which is a shame really when the lesser belts look a lot better. Still though, great news if true - should have been done during the whole divas revolution thing. Calling them divas doesn't help them in any way at all, if anything it makes them sound like a joke. So actually quite pleased at this news and hopefully it goes ahead, even if they'll have an ugly belt (can't imagine it'll be any worse than the divas title).

I think the WWE Championship looks great and while I'd like to see the old belt come back, I have absolutely no problem with a WWE Title-esque new womens title.

Edit. my bad i totally missed the part that the plan is to bring in the womans title to replace the divas one.... i had thought this was just some idea at first my mistake 🙂

so with that said i think its a great idea to bring that in and not have a championship resemble a 10 year old girls toy.
