Deserving for Sting most definitely. But I want to see Owen Hart

The Freebirds should, they like doing Texan legends whilst in Texas.  I've heard some rumours about Vader being inducted, which is cool.

There were rumors about Owen going in.. Also is Bischoff in yet? I could see that happening aswell.

Got a feeling The Dudleyz are getting in this year.

Second inductee is The Godfather. Wasn't great in the ring, but I guess most wrestling fans know of him so that's something. Can't remember one match that he had, but can remember him and the character - I don't think that's enough for a HoF talent, but in WWE land it's basically you're in if you don't piss anyone off.

He wasn't bad back in the Nation of Domination, had some reasonable matches, but was kinda made redundant once Mark Henry joined. Still, as characters go, there are worse...

I look at this as an induction for Charles Wright rather than Godfather.. because for me, Papa Shango is engrained on my childhood, seeing the Ultimate Warriors head bleed black blood is a memory I wont forget, and then WMVIII when he came down and interferred in main event with Hogan and Sid and that led to the return of the Warrior... Then Kama Mustafa stealing the Undertakers Urn... In Nation of Domination.. then Godfather as a kind of face for the values of the attitude era of just getting good looking women on tv for the sake of it... Him being IC champion and was the guy who was scheduled to face Owen Hart on that fateful night...

He has come back in and out over the years and is a recognisable face, and I think deserves his place in the Hall of Fame, if not for the Godfather, then for his other incarnations over the years for sure

He's definitely more worthy than some people that are currently in the HoF. I can only remember him as the Godfather though so can't really say much about him before that (I know of the Papa Shango and Kama characters, but can't remember ever seeing him as that character) - he is going in as the Godfather though, nothing else - not even the Goodfather which came after. Don't know why they don't just induct him as Charles Wright like you say, that'd make much more sense as it'd include all his characters. As it is, it just seems like one character is worthy and the rest isn't which seems wrong.

It's like inducting the American Bad Ass Undertaker and ignoring all the other incarnations that the Undertaker went through previously.

RollingStone.com broke the news on Monday that legendary faction The Fabulous Freebirds will be among the inductees for the 2016 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Joining the previously announced inductees, Sting and The Godfather, The Fabulous Freebirds will finally take their well-deserved place in the coveted WWE Hall Of Fame during WrestleMania 32 weekend in April.

With WrestleMania taking place in Texas this year, it is fitting for the legendary faction, which consisted of Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts (and later Jimmy Garvin) to finally get inducted, as the group was a big part of wrestling history in Texas, particularly during their rivalry with The Von Erich's in the now defunct World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) territory.

WWE announced the latest addition to the scheduled class of inductees for this year's WWE Hall Of Fame class on Monday afternoon.

Joining the previously announced Sting, Godfather and Fabulous Freebirds in this year's class will be 1990s WWE star Big Bossman.

The WWE Hall Of Fame 2016 induction ceremony takes place during WrestleMania 32 weekend in April.

WWE released a special edition of their monthly magazine for WrestleMania 32, with a cover featuring Triple H, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Charlotte, Dean Ambrose and The New Day. Inside the magazine, they reveal two more inductees for the WWE Hall of Fame's class of 2016.

Stan Hansen and Jacqueline Moore are now confirmed to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. WWE has yet to officially announce the two former stars for the Hall of Fame on the internet or TV. Jacqueline, formerly known as Miss Texas, has been a rumored inductee for weeks and Stan Hansen is from Texas.

This year's WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony takes place on Saturday, April 2, the night before WrestleMania 32, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas at 6:30 PM local time. Sting, The Godfather, The Fabulous Freebirds and Big Boss Man are the other confirmed inductees as of press time.

No idea who Stan Hansen is, but everyone should know who Jacqueline is - she was good from what I remember.

The leaked list that Rhys posted wasn't far off. JBL won't be inducted, but he will be there as he's inducting Charles Wright along with Ron Simmons.

That's a pretty great class.

And seriously, you've never heard of Stan Hansen? That's surprising. He was an amazing brawler, huge in Japan. I'm sure YouTube is full of his stuff from the 80s.

I recognise his name, but I googled him last night and don't recognise his face at all. So going with don't know who he is.

Apart from that though, it is a pretty good list.
