4CW Presents… Storm Front
March 26th, 2023
Live from the Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, California

Phoenix: Ladies and gentlemen, we are LIVE from Los Angeles and we are on the road to REVIVAL XVI! Tonight, our final stop! I’m Scott Phoenix, joined as ever by Ray Jeffrey and James Roberts!
Roberts: And tonight, we have one hell of a show in store! In our main event, 4CW Undisputed World Champion Brian White will be in action against the monstrous Bear of Bad News!
Jeffrey: Not only that, The Liberation have one last chance to qualify for the Tag Title match at Revival, against the soon-to-be Hall of Famers, Umbra Maxima! Who will take the final spot?
Phoenix: We also have Jon Viper vs Erica Moxie tonight, as well as much more! Let’s kick things off with some tag team action!

Carson: The following contest is the final qualifying match for the 4CW Tag Team Championship TLC match at Revival!

”Taking You Down” by Egypt Central hits the PA system. Elfan Simtul and Maximillian Yesgill, Umbra Maxima, emerge onto the stage, their expressions as stoic as ever.

Carson: Introducing first, from New York, New York, weighing in at a combined weight of 485lbs… UMBRAAAA… MAXIMAAAAA!!

”Black Flame” by Bury Tomorrow follows, met with a chorus of boos. Bruce Rigg and Garret Fischer, The Liberation, walk out, looking incredibly tense.

Carson: And their opponents, representing The Black Flame, weighing in at a combined 530lbs… THE LIBERAAAAATION!!

Phoenix: You can see the pressure on the faces of Rigg and Fischer. Their leader, Eli Waters, gave them an ultimatum: win this match and get to Revival, or he would "extinguish" their flame permanently.
Roberts: And to do it, they have to go through one of the most dominant and decorated teams in 4CW history. This is a monumental task.

Tag Team Title TLC Match Qualifier
Umbra Maxima vs The Liberation

The bell rings and The Liberation explode out of their corner with a desperate, frantic assault, trying to overwhelm Umbra Maxima with pure aggression. But the veterans weather the storm, using their superior composure and power to cut them off.

Umbra Maxima take control, isolating Garret Fischer and systematically taking him apart with brutal, powerful tandem offense. Yesgill and Simtul are a well-oiled machine, their tags are seamless, their moves are impactful. Rigg paces on the apron, growing more and more frustrated as he's forced to watch his partner be dismantled.

Fischer finally creates an opening and makes a desperate tag to Rigg. Rigg charges in, but in his haste, he accidentally collides with Fischer, sending his own partner crashing off the apron to the floor. The miscommunication is the opening Umbra Maxima needed.

Jeffrey: That’s it! The pressure just made them implode!

Yesgill immediately takes advantage, hitting a distracted Rigg with a superkick. Simtul hoists him up into the powerbomb position, and Yesgill climbs the ropes. They connect with the Lunata Nusquam Arcus! Yesgill covers for the decisive win.

Carson: Here are your winners, and the final team to qualify for the Revival TLC match… UMBRA … MAXIMAAA!!

As Umbra Maxima celebrates, the camera focuses on a furious Eli Waters appearing on the ramp. He stares down at his defeated team members with pure disgust, shakes his head, and walks away without a single word.

Phoenix: Well, Eli Waters is clearly furious. What does this mean for The Liberation?

The Liberation are left beaten and broken in the ring, their future uncertain.

The camera cuts to the ring where a table is set up. GM Sery is present.

Sery: Some recent developments between two competitors have led to the official addition of a match… At Revival, for the 4CW Custom Cup Championship, it will be an Ante Up match: the champion, Xavier Avana, will put his title on the line against the career of this man…

”Step” by Ministry plays as Dirk Meyer and Senecca make their way to the ring, full of arrogance.

Meyer signs the contract for the match and grabs a microphone.

Meyer: A formality. A man with my intellect, with my legacy, would never lose his career to a flash-in-the-pan kid. Avana, you made the biggest mistake of your life by challenging a Hall of Famer.

”You Ain’t Ready” by Skillet hits, and the champion, Xavier Avana, comes to the ring.

Avana: This isn't about your intellect, Dirk. It's about your lack of honor. You went back on your word, you hid behind your friend, and you disgrace everything this title stands for. You wanted a title shot and I wanted to put you in your place.. I'm doing this to deliver a dose of karma and rid 4CW of a veteran who has forgotten what it means to be a champion… hell, forgotten what it means to be a man.

Avana signs the contract. Meyer offers a handshake. Avana stares him down. Meyer shrugs.

Meyer: Well, since that’s all done and official, I’ll just go ahead and get myself ready to be champion. See you later, kid.

Senecca tries to cheap shot Avana from behind, but Avana ducks, shoves Meyer hard into Senecca, knocking them both out of the ring. Avana stands tall, holding his Custom Cup high as S&M retreat up the ramp, furious.

”Antivist” by Bring Me The Horizon hits, and Erica Moxie comes to the ring.

Carson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Columbus, Ohio, weighing in at 135lbs… ERICA MOXIE!!

”POSSEZZ” by Owl Vision brings out Jon Viper, flanked by the entire Snake Pit. They stop at the top of the ramp as Viper proceeds alone.

Carson: And her opponent, representing The Snake Pit, from Madison, Wisconsin… JON … VIIIIIPER!!

Jon Viper vs Erica Moxie

Moxie, showing no fear, takes the fight directly to Viper, using her speed and tenacity to hit a series of quick strikes that keep the bigger man off-balance. She even manages to hit a spinning neckbreaker for a one-count.

But Viper cuts her off with a single, brutal lariat that stops her dead in her tracks. From there, it's a systematic and sadistic dissection. Viper takes his time, punishing Moxie with power moves and showing a complete lack of remorse, clearly sending a message to his brother.

Roberts: This isn't about winning for Viper. This is about inflicting pain.

After a few minutes of brutalization, Moxie comes back with a strike combo and tries to hit a German Suplex, but Viper lands on his feet, and while the referee is looking the other way, rakes Moxie’s eyes from behind. Viper then grabs Moxie and Viper ends it decisively with the Fate Sealer.

Carson: Here is your winner… JON … VIIIIIPER!!

As the bell rings, the rest of The Snake Pit surrounds the ring. With Moxie's partners, Jett and Zaiden, not in the arena tonight, there's no one to help her. The faction slides into the ring and begins a 5-on-1 assault. Viper grabs a microphone as his stable holds Moxie up.

Viper: Lotus... Jett… Zaiden… see this? This is just a preview. jJett, Zaiden… whatever’s left of your partner here will be a spoiler for what you will look like after The Snake Pit takes that Franchise Title at Revival… LOTUS… At Revival, inside the cell, there are no rules. There's no escape. There's only the end of you. And I will take BACK the 4CW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

”Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL hits the PA.

Carson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Cardiff, Wales, weighing in at 130lbs… SEREN MALI!!

”Cowboys From Hell” by Pantera brings out the Murder of Crows.

Carson: And her opponent, being accompanied by Jason Crow, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania… ROBERT… CROW!!

Seren Mali vs Robert Crow w/Jason Crow

Seren is on fire, using her superior wrestling skill to out-maneuver Robert at every turn. She looks to be on the verge of another upset victory, hitting a series of slingblades and setting up for her finisher.

But as she goes for it, Jason Crow jumps on the apron, providing the crucial distraction at the perfect moment. Robert recovers and hits a devastating clothesline from behind. He follows up with a powerful slam for the victory.

Carson: Here is your winner… ROBERT… CROW!!

Not satisfied with the win, Jason and Robert begin a vicious 2-on-1 beatdown on Seren. The crowd boos loudly.

Phoenix: Oh, come on! This is ridiculous!

They set her up for a double-team move when suddenly, ”As I Am” by Dream Theater hits the arena speakers!

Robert: It’s CAIN!! He’s here!!

"The Dragon" Rhys Cain sprints down the ramp and slides into the ring. The Crows immediately bail, escaping through the crowd. Cain ignores them, his only focus on his daughter. He helps Seren to her feet, his face a mask of pure rage. He checks on her, then grabs a microphone.

Cain: CROWS! You want to make this about family? Fine! At Revival... you get us both! You get The Dragons! RHYS CAIN… SEREN MALI… VERSUS MURDER OF CROWS… IN A STREET FIGHT!!

The crowd erupts as Cain raises his daughter's arm.

”Wherever I May Roam” by Metallica hits the PA.

Carson: The following contest is our main event! Introducing first, the 4CW UNDISPUTED WORLD CHAMPION … BRIAN … THE FREIGHT TRAAAAAIN … WHIIITE!!

”Fun to Me” by Devlin follows.

Carson: And his opponent, from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 360lbs… THE BEAR OF BAAAAAAAD NEEEEWS!!

Phoenix: It’s our main event! Brian White has a massive challenge in his protege Tommy Young at Revival, but tonight he has a literal massive challenge in The Bear of Bad News!

Brian White vs The Bear of Bad News

The bell rings and the two behemoths meet in the center of the ring. The Bear of Bad News refuses to give ground, using his 360lb frame to shove the champion backwards. White tries for a collar-and-elbow tie-up, but Bear simply swats his arms away and clubs him with a massive forearm that sends White stumbling into the corner.

For the next several minutes, The Bear of Bad News uses his immense size to control the pace, overpowering the champion. He whips White from corner to corner, crushing him with avalanches and hitting a massive scoop slam that shakes the canvas. He follows up with a huge leg drop, covering White for a long two-count that genuinely surprises the crowd.

Roberts: We have never seen the World Champion manhandled like this. The sheer power of The Bear of Bad News is overwhelming.

The Bear signals for the end, setting up for his finisher, Breaking News. He sends White to the ropes, but as White returns, he ducks under the lariat attempt. White hits the opposite ropes, building a head of steam, and comes back with a massive shoulder tackle, but the Bear doesn't go down! White hits the ropes again, a second shoulder tackle, and the Bear staggers but stays on his feet!

The crowd comes alive as White roars, feeding off their energy. He hits the ropes a third time, and this time he explodes forward with a thunderous clothesline that finally takes the giant off his feet!

White is now in control. He "hulks up," no-selling the damage from earlier and showcasing his own incredible, world-class power. He lifts the super-heavyweight up for a massive, gut-wrenching bodyslam that elicits a huge pop from the crowd. White doesn't go for the pin. He stalks his opponent, waiting for him to get to his feet.

Phoenix: An incredible display of power from our World Champion! He's lining him up!

As The Bear of Bad News stumbles to his feet, White lets out a primal roar and charges across the ring, hitting a thunderous Runaway Train spear that practically cuts the big man in half! He hooks the leg for the emphatic and decisive victory.

Carson: Here is your winner… BRIAN … THE FREIGHT TRAAAAAIN … WHIIITE!

Phoenix: And White continues building momentum going into Revival!

As White celebrates, Madeline Phoenix slides into the ring with a steel chair and attacks him from behind, viciously targeting his legs.

Phoenix: I - What?!
Roberts: What the hell is Madeline Phoenix playing at?! She’s attacking the World Champion!

Madeline continues her flurry and unloads with a furious assault.

"Aces High" by Iron Maiden hits and Tommy Young sprints down to make the save. Madeline swings the steel chair at Young, who ducks and dropkicks the chair into Madeline’s face. Madeline rolls out of the ring and quickly retreats.

A furious Brian White, clutching his knee, pulls himself up and gets a microphone.

White: PHOENIX! You want my attention? You want a title shot so bad you're willing to do this? Fine! You got it! At Revival, I'm done with the chaos! I'm done with the games! It will be me... versus Tommy Young... versus YOU! A Triple Threat match for the 4CW Undisputed World Championship! And I swear to God, I will end this!

The show ends with the image of a furious White, a concerned but determined Young, and a smug Madeline Phoenix looking on from the crowd. The main event for Revival is officially set.
