4CW Presents… Storm Front
February 26, 2023
Live from the Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado

Phoenix: Welcome everyone to 4CW Storm Front! We are just a couple of shows away from the biggest extravaganza of the entire calendar, 4CW REVIVAL!! And tonight we continue that road! I am Scott Phoenix, joined as ever by Ray Jeffrey and James Roberts!
Jeffrey: And let me tell you something, we have a great card tonight! Universal Champion Dark Lotus will be in action one on one against The Snake Pit’s Mark Mayhem!
Roberts: Not only that, we also have another qualifying match for the Tag Title TLC match at Revival as The Virgin Rose & Witch Hazel take on the formidable Silent Sorcery!
Phoenix: And if all that isn’t enough, in our main event, Madeline Phoenix will get exactly what she’s been asking for, a match with the World Champion, Brian White! It will NOT however be for the championship, as Tommy Young has already earned his right to that Revival main event!
Roberts: … and I’ll save you the pain of saying it yourself, Scott, but Madeline couldn’t handle the fact Young was about to beat her last month and got herself disqualified with that vicious chair assault.
Jeffrey: She’s got a mean streak, that one! I love it!
Phoenix: As always, thank you both for your … contributions to this product. Let’s kick things off.

”Spiders on the Wall” by Magnolia Bayou hits the PA system. Fog fills the stage as the 4CW Universal Champion makes his way out, the title draped over his shoulder.

Carson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Devil’s Backbone, Louisiana, weighing in at 275lbs… he is the 4CW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION … DAAAARK … LOOOTUS!!

”SLO” by Vukovi follows, a chaotic and jarring track. Mark Mayhem bursts onto the stage, his movements twitchy and unpredictable. He is alone.

Carson: And his opponent, representing The Snake Pit, from Denver, Colorado, weighing in at 201lbs… MARK MAYHEM!!

Singles Match (Non-Title)
Dark Lotus vs. Mark Mayhem

The bell rings and Mayhem immediately charges, catching Lotus with a series of wild, swinging strikes. Lotus shoves him off, but Mayhem comes right back, his offense completely erratic. He hits a running dropkick that sends the champion into the corner.

Roberts: Mark Mayhem’s style is pure chaos. It’s impossible to scout because he doesn’t seem to know what he’s going to do next either!

Mayhem charges for his Icon Splash, but Lotus explodes out of the corner with a massive clothesline that turns the smaller man inside out. Lotus takes control, grounding Mayhem with his methodical power. He hits a huge sidewalk slam, followed by a crushing leg drop. Mayhem tries to fight back, but Lotus catches him by the throat. Mayhem rakes the eyes to escape and hits a desperate spinning side slam, but only gets a one-count.

Frustrated, Mayhem climbs to the top rope. He dives off for a crossbody, but Lotus catches him in mid-air, transitions, and drives him into the mat with a thunderous spinebuster. Lotus stalks his fallen opponent, lifts him to his feet, and connects with the Count The Lights! He hooks the leg. ONE… TWO… THREE!

Carson: Here is your winner… DARK… LOOOOOOTUS!!

Phoenix: A dominant victory for the Universal Champion. He weathered the storm of Mayhem’s chaos and put him away decisively.

As Lotus’s music plays, he picks up his title. Suddenly, Jon Viper slides into the ring behind him with a steel chair and smashes it across the champion’s back! Viper unloads with several more vicious chair shots to the ribs and back of Lotus. The crowd boos loudly as Viper throws the chair down, lifts the champion, and drives him headfirst onto the steel with the Fate Sealer. Viper stands over the fallen Lotus, a cold look in his eyes, before calmly exiting the ring.

Jeffrey: A clear message sent by Jon Viper! He’s reminding the champion what hell really feels like!

We cut backstage where Seren Mali is walking through a hallway, gym bag over her shoulder. The sound of laughter catches her attention. A few feet away, Jason and Robert Crow are leaning against a crate, chuckling.

Robert: And to think I actually used to respect him… look at him now.
Jason: You got that right. I remember when the name Cain struck fear in the locker room. Now he’s the deadbeat dad moping around-

They start laughing again. Seren Mali steps forward, making herself known. The Crows stop and stare at her.

Seren: Oh, don’t stop on my account, boys. Keep going on about my deadbeat dad… whichever one of you mentions me first is who’ll get their ass handed to them first.

Jason chuckles, stepping forward.

Jason: She’s a little spark plug, isn’t she?

Seren moves with lightning speed. Before Jason can react, she drives a kick hard into his groin. He collapses to his knees, red-faced and gasping for air.

Seren: Get the match booked. Anytime. Anywhere. I’ll be there.

Robert is too stunned to move, just staring with his mouth agape as Seren calmly continues down the hallway.

Phoenix: Well, Seren Mali certainly doesn’t mess around. We’re going to a break, but when we come back, we will get the second cryptic message from The Wanderer!

We return to the second vignette for Jaku Kal. This time, the image is of a dimly lit room, the only light coming from a bank of television monitors. On the screens, chaotic clips of 4CW play out—brawls, high spots, and angry promos. Jaku Kal stands in silhouette, watching the monitors.

Jaku Kal: They build idols of fire and chaos... but a true flame does not burn. It illuminates. They must be shown the path. The torch must be lit.

”Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL hits the PA, and Seren Mali makes her way to the ring, microphone in hand.

Seren: You know when I first got here, I was trying to show love and sympathy to my father, because I wanted to help him. But you know what? I don’t think that’s actually helped at all. So I’m going to show everything. I’m going to show my rage. I’m going to tell my father, and everyone else in the world I guess, why I’m so angry at him. I originally wanted him in the ring so I could say this to his face, but he’s too much of a coward to face me.

The crowd boos for Cain, as they are so used to doing.

Seren: Dad, you want to know why I never told you I was wrestling? Why did I never train under you? It’s simple. I wanted to make a success of myself, and you would just drag me down.

The crowd “ooh” at the burn.

Seren: I know that sounds harsh, but it’s true, right? When I was a little girl, my dad was the biggest hero in this industry. Everyone loved Rhys Cain. Then something changed forever. Something snapped. Like I’ve said before, Carstein broke him. And the Rhys Cain he became is someone who wasn’t a father at all.

The boos continue.

Seren: But I know my dad is human. He, like everyone else, has made mistakes. And I know that for some of you, what he has done, he can never come back from.

A mixed reaction brews and a small “yes, he can” chant starts but quickly dies out.

Seren: But I want to have a relationship with my dad, despite what the jackasses in the back say, but I am not going to do it on his terms. So Dad, this is what I’m saying to you now: Swallow your pride and stop being an asshole. When you’re ready to do that, we can talk. Until then, I’ll be waiting…

Mali drops the mic.

Suddenly ”Cowboys From Hell” by Pantera hits the PA system. Out come the Murder of Crows, Jason still limping slightly, and they mean business. Mali eggs them on, daring them to enter the ring. Jason jumps onto the apron while Robert slides under the ropes on the opposite side. Seren turns to face Robert and kicks him in the face, causing him to retreat. As she turns back, Jason grabs her, but she drives an elbow into his gut and kicks him square in the groin for the second time tonight! Jason crumples off the apron. Robert rolls into the ring with a steel chair, but Seren has already slid out, laughing at the damage she has caused as she backs up the ramp.

Phoenix: Once again, Seren Mali has gotten the upper hand over the Murder of Crows! But one has to wonder when her luck is going to run out…

We return from break to find 4CW Custom Cup Champion Xavier Avana in the ring.

Avana: As the Custom Cup Champion, I pride myself on being a fighting champion, ready for any challenge, any stipulation. I represent the future of this company, a future built on honor and respect-

"Step" by Ministry cuts him off. Out come Dirk Meyer and Senecca to a chorus of boos.

Meyer: Honor? Respect? Kid, those are words losers use to make themselves feel better. A real winner, a Hall of Famer like me, uses cunning. Intelligence. I've been watching you and your little "gimmick belt." A champion who chooses the rules? That sounds tailor-made for a crafty veteran like me to exploit.

Avana looks unimpressed at the interruption.

Avana: I've experienced first-hand the legacy you’ve left, Dirk. The problem is, that's all it is—legacy. You haven't done anything to earn a shot since you came back. Go win a match. Then another match. Then another. Prove you still belong here, and then we can talk.

Meyer smirks, whispering to Senecca before turning his attention back to Avana.

Meyer: Fine. You want me to earn it? I'll earn it. But when I do, that Custom Cup Championship is coming home with a real champion.

S&M leave as Avana holds his championship high.

Tag Team Title TLC Match Qualifier
The Virgin Rose & Witch Hazel vs. Silent Sorcery (Oki-Kira & Tsukiko Mizuno)

”Forward!” by Anaal Nathrakh brings out the Hardcore Champion, The Virgin Rose, who is soon joined by a skipping Witch Hazel to ”Inked In Blood” by Sigh.

Carson: Introducing the team of the 4CW Hardcore Champion, The Virgin Rose, and Witch Hazel!

”Forever Lotus” by RUDE brings out their opponents.

Carson: And their opponents, the team of Oki-Kira and Tsukiko Mizuno… SILENT SORCERY!!

The match begins with Silent Sorcery using their flawless teamwork to dominate. They isolate The Virgin Rose, using quick tags and tandem offense to keep her grounded. Rose fights back with pure brawling, but she’s outmatched by the technical skill of her opponents.

Roberts: This is a classic clash of styles. The pure wrestlers of Silent Sorcery against the utter chaos of Rose and Hazel.

Witch Hazel gets the hot tag and the match descends into madness. Hazel’s offense is completely unorthodox, and she turns the tide. The match breaks down. Hazel pulls out her Licky plush, and the referee is distracted trying to get it out of the ring. With the ref's back turned, Tsukiko Mizuno attempts to spit her poison mist at Rose, but Rose ducks and the mist hits Oki-Kira instead!

Oki-Kira is blinded! As Mizuno realizes her mistake, Rose hits her with a blatant low blow! Hazel, seeing the opportunity, grabs the blinded Oki-Kira and hits the Nilswitch! Rose follows up on the dazed Mizuno, lifting her up and driving her knee into Mizuno's head with the Cherry Popper! Rose makes the cover! ONE… TWO… THREE!

Carson: Here are your winners… THE VIRGIN ROSE… AND WITCH HAAAAZEL!!

Phoenix: Well, they are unorthodox, but they are effective! The odd couple of The Virgin Rose and Witch Hazel are heading to Revival!

Main Event - Singles Match (Non-Title)
Brian White (w/ Tommy Young) vs. Madeline Phoenix

”Nocturnal Strains” by Eternal Tears of Sorrow plays as Madeline Phoenix makes her way to the ring, her focus absolute.

Carson: Introducing first, from Widow's Hill, weighing in at 125lbs… MADELINE PHOENIX!

”Wherever I May Roam” by Metallica brings out the champion, accompanied by the #1 contender.

Carson: And her opponent, being accompanied by "Top Gun" Tommy Young, from Barry, South Wales, weighing in at 385lbs… he is the 4CW UNDISPUTED WORLD CHAMPION … BRIAN “THE FREIGHT TRAIN” WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIITE!!

The bell rings and the main event is underway. White uses his immense power advantage early, but Madeline is too smart to get caught. She uses her speed and cunning, targeting White's legs with a series of vicious kicks to chop the big man down.

Roberts: A brilliant strategy from Madeline Phoenix. If you take out the legs, you neutralize the Runaway Train.

The match is a tense, psychological battle. White eventually catches Madeline and hits a huge Pavement Slam, but she kicks out. She continues to fight back, escaping a powerbomb attempt and hitting a series of stiff strikes. At ringside, Tommy Young is a nervous wreck, pacing back and forth.

The turning point comes late in the match. White has Madeline up for the Train Crash, but she rakes his eyes to escape. She shoves White hard into the ropes, right where Young is standing. White stops himself from colliding with his friend, but the moment of hesitation is all Madeline needs.

While the referee checks on Young, who was almost knocked off the apron, Madeline hits a blatant low blow on Brian White! White collapses in a heap. Madeline falls to the mat herself, clutching her head as if she was the one who was attacked. The referee, Anna Molly, turns around to see both competitors down and an anxious Young on the apron. Believing Young caused the collision, she calls for the bell!

Carson: Here is your winner, via disqualification… MADELINE… PHOEEEENIX!!

Phoenix: What?! Are you kidding me?
Jeffrey: She played him! She played them all!

An irate Brian White gets to his feet, arguing with the referee. A distraught Tommy Young tries to plead his case, explaining what happened. As chaos erupts between the champion, the challenger, and the official, Madeline Phoenix rolls out of the ring and walks up the ramp with a smug, satisfied smirk on her face. The show ends with the image of total friction between the two best friends, a direct result of Madeline’s master manipulation.

Phoenix: Well, regardless of my opinion on her actions lately, Madeline is certainly getting the better of everyone around her! Where will this lead? Join us next time, good night!

Quick Results:
Dark Lotus defeated Mark Mayhem
Witch Hazel & The Virgin Rose defeated Silent Sorcery to qualify for the Tag Title TLC match at Revival.
