4CW Presents… Duskfall

Live from the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, Greensboro, North Carolina

Phoenix: Welcome everyone to 4CW Duskfall! We are live from Greensboro and firmly on the road to Revival! I’m Scott Phoenix, alongside Ray Jeffrey and Olivia Ito!
Ito: And we have a night of crucial matchups, Scott. We will see the World Title number one contender, Tommy Young, in action as he looks to rebuild after that vicious attack from Madeline Phoenix.
Jeffrey: Plus, the Tag Team Champions are here! Neon Moon are a fighting team, and tonight they face the desperate and dangerous duo of The Liberation!

Carson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Splash, Delaware, weighing in at 140lbs… CARLOS STARR!!

”Superstar” by Lupe Fiasco plays as the veteran makes his way to the ring, looking confident.

”Catch Me If You Can” by BABYMETAL hits next, and to a warm reception, Seren Mali emerges.

Carson: And his opponent, from Cardiff, Wales, weighing in at 130lbs… SEREN… MALI!!

Phoenix: After confronting the Murder of Crows and her father in recent weeks, Seren Mali looks to prove her focus is right here in the ring.

Singles Match
Seren Mali vs. Carlos Starr

The bell rings and the veteran Starr immediately tries to use his experience, grounding Seren with a side headlock. Seren, showing impressive poise, kips up and reverses into a wristlock. Starr rolls through, but Seren transitions smoothly into an arm drag, followed by another, sending Starr into the corner to regroup.

Ito: Seren Mali shows no wasted motion. She’s incredibly polished.

Starr comes back with a hard shoulder tackle, knocking Seren down. He follows up with a scoop slam and a quick leg drop for a one-count. He maintains control for the next minute, cutting off Seren’s comeback attempts and taunting her. He whips her to the ropes, looking for a back body drop, but Seren counters with a sunset flip for a two-count!

Starr gets to his feet, annoyed, and charges. Seren sidesteps and he runs into the turnbuckle. As he stumbles out, Seren hits a blistering slingblade! And another! She lines him up, hooks his head, and drives him into the mat with the Dim Mwg Heb Dan! She hooks the leg! ONE… TWO… THREE!

Carson: Here is your winner… SEREN… MALI!!

Phoenix: A clean, decisive, and very impressive victory for Seren Mali. She is building momentum here in 4CW.

As Seren celebrates, the camera cuts backstage. "The Dragon" Rhys Cain is watching the end of the match on a monitor. Gabriel Crowe approaches him cautiously.

Crowe: Rhys, an impressive victory for your daughter just now. Any thoughts?

Cain’s eyes remain locked on the screen, watching Seren have her hand raised. There’s a long, tense silence. Without a word, he gives a slight, almost imperceptible shake of his head and walks away, leaving Crowe alone.

Carson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Columbus, Ohio, weighing in at 135lbs… ERICA MOXIE!!

”Antivist” by Bring Me The Horizon brings out Erica Moxie, the former Hardcore Champion, to a great reaction.

”Aces High” by Iron Maiden follows, and the crowd gets to their feet. Tommy Young comes out to an even bigger pop, the crowd raring to go as he hypes them up.

Carson: And her opponent, from Barry, South Wales, weighing in at 185lbs, "TOP GUN" ... TOMMYYYYY … YOOOOOUNG!!

Phoenix: Tommy Young has to be looking over his shoulder after Madeline Phoenix’s brutal assault last month. He needs this win to get his focus back on the World Championship.

Singles Match
Tommy Young vs. Erica Moxie

This is a fast-paced, high-energy affair from the opening bell. The two "New Generation" stalwarts show their familiarity with each other, trading lightning-quick arm drags, counters, and reversals that ends in a tense stalemate, earning an appreciative applause from the crowd.

Young is the first to gain a real advantage, using his aerial offense to hit a springboard crossbody for a two-count. He follows up with a series of sharp kicks to the chest, but Moxie catches the last one, sweeps his other leg, and takes control.

Ito: Moxie is not going to let Young build a head of steam. She knows how dangerous he is in the air.

Moxie, a seven-time Hardcore Champion, is not intimidated. She becomes methodical, grounding Young and viciously targeting his back—the same back that was brutalized by Madeline Phoenix's chair shots last month. She drives knees into his spine and hits a vicious backbreaker before locking in a deep Boston Crab right in the center of the ring. Young is in agony, but he refuses to quit, crawling and dragging himself to finally force a rope break.

Jeffrey: Smart strategy from Moxie! Soften him up for the Franchise title! Go after the injury!

Moxie drags Young back to the center of the ring, looking to end it. She hooks him for the Moxie Massacre, but Young fights out with elbows to the head. He creates separation with a spinning heel kick that stuns the Franchise Champion. Young, clutching his back, sees an opening and hits the ropes, connecting with a slingblade that shifts the momentum.

He follows up, looking for the Tomohawk Missile, but Moxie moves and he crashes and burns. Moxie seizes the opportunity, climbing to the second rope and setting up for the Omaha Slicer. Just as she leaps, Young, having scouted the move, catches her with a perfectly timed dropkick in mid-air!

Phoenix: What a counter by Tommy Young! Incredible timing!

Both competitors are down. Young is the first to his feet, feeding off the energy of the crowd. He stalks his opponent. Moxie stumbles up and Young lifts her for a Brainbuster, but his back gives out for a split second from the earlier damage. Moxie slides down behind him, but Young spins and catches her with a superkick! Moxie is staggered! Young, fighting through the pain, climbs to the top rope and soars through the air with the Bombs Away Swanton Bomb! He connects perfectly! ONE… TWO… THREE!

Carson: Here is your winner… "TOP GUN" TOMMY YOUNG

Phoenix: A huge, hard-fought victory for Tommy Young! That is exactly what he needed to get his head back in the game and focused on Brian White at Revival!

Young helps Moxie to her feet and they share a handshake of respect before Young celebrates with the crowd.

Carson: The following contest is our main event of the evening!

”Black Flame” by Bury Tomorrow brings out The Liberation, who are met with a chorus of boos.

Carson: Introducing first, representing The Black Flame, the team of Bruce Rigg and Garret Fischer… THE LIBERAAAAATION!!

”GodMode Domination” by Turboslash hits, and the 4CW Tag Team Champions emerge to a massive pop.

Carson: And their opponents, the 4CW Tag Team Champions, Pilgrim Paige and Kinzy Kane… NEOOOON … MOOOOOON!!

Main Event - Tag Team Match
Neon Moon vs. The Liberation

The Liberation, desperate for a win, attack before the bell, jumping Neon Moon and beating them down. The match officially begins with Rigg and Fischer completely overwhelming Kinzy Kane, isolating her in their corner with brutal power moves and stomps.

Ito: The Liberation are fighting like their careers depend on it. They cannot afford another high-profile loss.

After several minutes of punishment, Kinzy creates an opening with an enziguri and makes the hot tag to Pilgrim Paige! The Hall of Famer explodes into the ring, taking down both members of The Liberation with a flurry of clotheslines and a double dropkick. The match breaks down, with all four competitors brawling. Rigg and Paige tumble to the outside.

Inside, Fischer hits a huge spinebuster on Kinzy for a very close near-fall. He can't believe it. He signals for the end, setting up the Doomsday Device with Rigg. As Fischer climbs the ropes, Paige runs over and pulls him off the apron, sending him crashing to the floor! Kinzy slides out of Rigg's powerbomb attempt, hits a superkick, and makes the tag!

Paige springboards in with a flying forearm as Kinzy hits a dropkick. They hit their double-team finisher, the Asteroid Shower, on Rigg! Paige makes the cover! ONE… TWO… THREE!

Carson: Here are your winners… NEON MOON!!

Phoenix: An incredible victory for the champions! They weathered the storm and proved exactly why they hold the gold!

Neon Moon celebrate in the ring as the show comes to a close. On the ramp, Bruce Rigg and Garret Fischer are seen arguing, shoving each other in frustration over yet another devastating loss.
