4CW Presents… Storm Front
January 29th, 2023
Live from The T-Mobile Center, Kansas City, Kansas

The scene opens with the 4CW Hall of Fame: Class of 2023 graphic. It fades to a video package. We see a montage of iconic 4CW moments from across the eras—[chux] winning the first title, Lord Skywolf's return, Pilgrim Paige's Grand Slam victory, Brian White winning the World Title—all underscored by the familiar voices of the commentary team.
Narrator (V.O.): For over twenty years, 4CW has been the home of legends, champions, and unforgettable moments. And for every single one of those moments, there has been a voice. A soundtrack. A team that has guided the 4CW universe through every triumph and every tragedy. Tonight, we honor the institution behind the desk.
The screen shows a graphic: SCOTT PHOENIX.

Narrator (V.O.): Scott Phoenix. The play-by-play. The consummate professional. For nearly two decades, his voice has been the unwavering guide for the 4CW faithful. From the first Revival to the latest, through every title change and every shocking return, Scott Phoenix has been the man to call the action with passion, integrity, and an unparalleled knowledge of this company's history.

(Clip of a younger Scott Phoenix at the announce desk in 2005.)

Scott Phoenix (archive audio): "He's done it! We have a new World Champion!"

(Clip of Scott Phoenix at Revival XV, watching his daughter Madeline after the Inferno Match.)

Scott Phoenix (archive audio): "As long as she is conscious, she will not give in!"

Narrator (V.O.): He is a man whose professionalism is matched only by his heart—a heart he has worn on his sleeve as a father, a historian, and the true voice of 4Corners Wrestling.

(The screen shows a graphic: RAY JEFFREY.)

Narrator (V.O.): Ray Jeffrey. The color. The chaos. The constant. Since the 2004 relaunch, there has been one unwavering presence at ringside. For every moment of high drama, Ray Jeffrey has been there to provide his unique, unfiltered, and unforgettable perspective.

(Montage of Ray Jeffrey's most outrageous moments: laughing maniacally, complaining about nosebleeds, shouting "Shut up, Roberts!")

Ray Jeffrey (archive audio): "This is bullshit! This match should be over!"

Ray Jeffrey (archive audio): "What the hell is this, some kinda indie circuit family reunion?!"

Narrator (V.O.): Love him or hate him, for nearly twenty years, Ray Jeffrey has been the wild, beating heart of the 4CW broadcast, a one-of-a-kind personality who is as much a part of this company's fabric as the ring itself.

(The screen shows a graphic: JAMES ROBERTS.)

Narrator (V.O.): James Roberts. The analyst. The voice of reason. In a booth often defined by passion and chaos, James Roberts provides the crucial element of strategy.
(Clips of James Roberts calmly breaking down in-ring action while his partners argue.)

James Roberts (archive audio): "You have to credit the resilience of Devon Drummond. The Liberation targeted him, but he fought through the pain and secured the victory..."

Narrator (V.O.): With a keen eye for the sport and the patience of a saint, he has been the indispensable third man, the calm in the storm who elevates the broadcast with insight and clarity.

(The video package ends with the three of them at the announce desk, laughing together during a lighter moment on a show. The Hall of Fame logo appears.)

Narrator (V.O.): They are more than just commentators. They are the storytellers. It is with great honor that 4CW welcomes Scott Phoenix, Ray Jeffrey, and James Roberts into the Hall of Fame, Class of 2023.

Live in the arena. 4CW Owner SERY is standing at a podium on the stage.

Sery: For years, I’ve been in that ring, and I’ve been backstage. And every single time, I knew that the story of what we did in here would be told by the men sitting at that desk. They are the narrators of our history. They’ve called my biggest wins, they’ve called my most embarrassing losses… and they’ve done it for every single person who has ever stepped through that curtain.

They are the first voices you hear when the show starts, and the last voices you hear when we go off the air. They are, in every sense of the word, the voices of 4CW. It is my incredible honor to introduce to you, the newest inductees into the 4CW Hall of Fame… Scott Phoenix, Ray Jeffrey, and James Roberts!
The commentary team's music hits. The three men, dressed in tuxedos, walk out onto the stage to a massive, heartfelt standing ovation. They embrace Sery and each other before stepping up to the podium.

Scott Phoenix: Thank you. Thank you all. I… I’ve been a part of this company since the beginning. I’ve seen giants walk this aisle. I’ve seen legends born. To be considered a part of that legacy… is the single greatest honor of my career. I’ve had the best seat in the house to watch the greatest wrestlers in the world, and I got to share it with these two gentlemen. For that, I am eternally grateful.

James Roberts: I’ve always believed that professional wrestling is an art form. It’s a story of conflict and triumph. My job has always been to try and find the "why"—why a hold is applied, why a strategy is chosen. To have been able to analyze the art created by the incredible athletes of this company has been a privilege. Thank you.
Ray Jeffrey steps up to the mic, looking uncharacteristically emotional. He takes a deep breath.

Ray Jeffrey: You know, for twenty years, I’ve sat at that desk and I’ve been… well, I’ve been a real pain in the ass.

The crowd laughs and cheers.

Ray Jeffrey: I’ve yelled, I’ve screamed, I’ve made some jokes that probably should’ve gotten me fired… but I did it because I love this. I love this company. I love this sport. And I got to do it sitting next to my two best friends.

He puts his arms around Scott and James.

Ray Jeffrey: So, to everyone in the back, to everyone in this arena, and to everyone watching at home… from the bottom of my heart… shut up, Roberts! Thank you!
The three men raise their arms together as the crowd gives them one final, thunderous ovation.

Phoenix: Ladies and gentlemen and people of all ages, welcome to 4CW Storm Front! It’s a New Year and 2023 rolls around with tonight’s show!
Jeffrey: You ever get that thing where like, it’s a Monday but it feels like a Tuesday? Or it’s 2023 … but it feels like 2024?
Phoenix: I had asked you to lay off the pills for the show but I guess you’ve broken your New Year’s Resolution already, Ray! I am Scott Phoenix, joined as ever by the uniquely talented Ray Jeffrey, and of course, there’s also James Roberts!
Roberts: Oh, it’s going to be one hell of a show tonight! I can feel it in my bones!
Phoenix: It’s a New Year! Let’s see how we’re going to kick it off.

”As I Am” by Dream Theatre hits the PA system.

Phoenix: Oh, dammit to hell.
Roberts: We are being joined by 4CW Hall of Famer, "The Dragon" Rhys Cain! And Cain is going through something of a personal crisis right now, with his estranged daughter’s debut here late last year and his recent failed attempt at taking the 4CW World Title from Brian White!

Carson: Please welcome, on his way to the ring, 4CW HALL OF FAMER … THE DRAGON … RHYS … CAAAAAAAAIN!!

To a loud but very mixed reaction, Rhys Cain makes his way down to the ring with a mic in hand. As he comes down, he speaks and his music fades out.

Cain: I’m gonna cut right to the chase here and I’m also going to be honest. My whole personal issues recently with my daughter of all people showing up here as a member of the 4CW roster has been giving me a lot of brain fog… not to mention the fact that I lost against Brian White in the Ironman… too much fog…

Cain walks up the steel steps.

Cain: And I find the best way to deal with brain fog is with a good brawl! So…

Cain gets into the ring.

Cain: I am issuing an open challenge to ANYONE who just fancies a good ol’ fight!!

Jeffrey: Well, Cain has a lot of fog - or maybe steam - to blow off, and he wants a fight! Who’s gonna take up the challenge?

”Little Green Men” by Project 86 hits the PA system as Supreme steps out onto the stage. Cain nods, throws the mic down, and takes his shirt off, ready to go!

Phoenix: Supreme certainly seems to be making a name for himself as an open challenge accepter recently, but I will never turn down the chance to see these Hall of Famers, with their storied 4CW careers intertwined, hash it out on any episode of Storm Front!

Supreme enters the ring and the referee Jason Trent, seeing no reason to delay, calls for the bell!

"The Dragon" Rhys Cain vs Supreme

The two Hall of Famers spend the first few minutes testing each other. They know each other so well that this results in several sequences of reversals and counters, until they both end up standing back up on opposite sides of the ring to a huge cheer from the crowd, knowing they are in for a good match.

Cain starts to get more aggressive with his strikes, and takes out Supreme with a few snap moves like a snap suplex and a snap DDT, but he doesn’t threaten Supreme’s chances in this match really just yet. Supreme fights back and takes out Cain with an impressive German Suplex bridge, gaining the first two-count of the match.

Supreme wears Cain down with some technical wrestling and a headlock. Cain struggles at first to fight out of the hold but eventually manages it, taking out Supreme with a Side Effect and getting a two count of his own.

Cain is starting to get into the swing of things now, following up with an enziguri, then taking out Supreme with the one, two, and three amigos! Cain hooks the leg but only gets another two count. Cain, not willing to let the momentum die, sets up Supreme for a Dragon Rage Busaiku Knee! Supreme gets up - Cain runs - but Supreme sidesteps.

Cain recovers fairly well, only for Supreme to scoop him up in a schoolboy pin! ONE… TWO… THREE!!

Carson: Here is your winner… SUPREEEEEEME!!

Phoenix: Supreme pulled a fast one on Cain and won the match!
Roberts: That really came out of nowhere! Looks like Cain is stunned!

Supreme celebrates the victory with the crowd and leaves the ring. The arena’s energy shifts as Supreme goes back up the ramp, and the camera zooms in on Cain, his shoulders slumped in defeat. The crowd’s roar fades into a distant hum as he makes his way up the ramp, each step heavy with the weight of loss. The spotlight follows him, casting a long shadow that echoes his sombre mood.

Roberts: I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Cain like this. He’s not even angry; he’s just a shell of his former self.
Phoenix: I have to agree. For better or worse, Cain has always believed in his own ability. Now with his bad luck in recent months that has resulted in a string of big losses, he looks like he is done.
Jeffrey: Is this an ounce of sympathy I sense from you, Scotty?
Phoenix: I don’t know if it's sympathy or if it's pity, or whatever it is. I will never like Rhys Cain. But I will also never enjoy seeing a man suffer again and again, usually because of himself… and don’t call me Scotty.

As Cain approaches the gorilla position, the backstage area where wrestlers prepare for their entrance, the camera captures the concern etched on the faces of those around him.

Seren Mali is there and she is the only person who steps forward with open arms, her eyes filled with empathy. She reaches out but Cain is lost in his own world of disappointment.

With a silent shake of his head, Cain dismisses her attempt to console him. The rejection is gentle, yet firm, a father’s way of saying he needs to be alone. Without another word, he passes by Seren, leaving her standing there with outstretched arms. The camera lingers for a moment on her face, a mix of worry and understanding, before fading to black.

We cut to a cavernous area in an unknown location. The flickering of ancient torches light the cave and a man sits on the ground, his long, dark dreads hanging over his face, adorned with a bushy beard. He dons flowing robes that cover his crossed legs completely.

???: Today, I want to tell you a story. A story of a great, ancient tree. Its roots spread out for miles and its branches supplied enough fruit to feed a kingdom in perpetuity. This great ancient tree was wise and good and it had seen centuries of men, both good and bad, come from and go back to the Earth.

That ancient tree is now gone. It was taken, robbed of its gifts to others and itself, and forsaken for greed and destruction. A seed from that ancient tree lives in each one of us. And the choices we make, determine whether that seed will grow and blossom or wither and die.

I say all this because it is important to know where I come from. I come from an ancient heritage, not unlike the great, ancient tree. And I know that my fate is to bloom, much like it did, and protect the good in the world from the evil.

My name is Jaku Kal. I am The Wanderer. And I will walk any path that leads us all to salvation. Light the Torch.

The scene opens to the bustling backstage area of the wrestling show, the air thick with anticipation. The camera focuses on Tommy Young, the determined back-to-back winner of the 13 Ghost Gauntlet, standing confidently in front of the interview set. His eyes are alight with the fire of ambition as he addresses the camera.

Tommy Young: After conquering the 13 Ghost Gauntlet, and coming out on top at War Games, it's time to climb the final mountain. I've earned my shot, and I'm here to announce officially what you all already know, that I'll be challenging for the 4CW World Championship. And there's no one I'd rather face than my mentor, the champion himself, Brian White -

Just as Tommy is about to reveal the details of the match, the frame is suddenly filled with the imposing figure of Madeline Phoenix, her presence commanding and intense.

Madeline: Tommy, we've both been on the same gruelling path to the World Championship. I’ll admit in the heat of the Gauntlet match, you caught me out. But one on one, I know I can prove I am the superior competitor. It should be me facing Brian White next.

Tommy looks at Madeline with a mixed expression. He nods in understanding but his expression shows no signs of backing down.

Young: Madeline, I respect your drive and your passion, but I won't step aside. If you want to prove who truly deserves that title shot, then let's settle this in the ring. Main event, tonight.

Madeline's eyes narrow, a smirk playing on her lips with the challenge put before her.

Madeline: You're on, Tommy. Tonight, in the main event, we'll see who really deserves to challenge The Freight Train…

The tension between them is palpable as Madeline exits the area and Tommy looks on.

Phoenix: Well, what a huge main event we have for tonight! Tommy Young and Madeline Phoenix one on one!

We cut to the arena as ”Spiders on the Wall” by Magnolia Bayou hits the PA system and the new, two-time Universal Champion steps out on stage. His entrance theme blares through the speakers, and the crowd erupts in cheers. Lotus, with the championship belt gleaming over his shoulder, grabs a microphone.

Lotus: At War Games, we went to battle. We fought with heart and soul, and we emerged victorious. This title…

Lotus pats the championship belt.

Lotus: …is more than just gold and leather; it's a symbol of our triumph. And now, my reign as champion will carve a new path in the annals of 4CW history -

Before Lotus can continue, the lights dim and ”Possezz” by Owl Vision hits the PA system. Jon Viper, the leader of The Snake Pit, makes his way to the stage alone. He has a fierce look in his eyes.

Viper: Lotus, dear brother, don't get too comfortable with that title. At my last count, we each hold one victory over the other… And remember, I've got a rematch clause. It's time for a rubber match, you and me, for that championship. No Snake Pit. No Swamp People. Just brother vs brother, in the depths of hell, where only the winner escapes.
Lotus shakes his head, almost mocking the naivety of Jon Viper.

Lotus: Viper, you're living in the past. Since War Games, the landscape has changed. New challengers have risen. Although your argument of a rematch does, admittedly, have some merit. So we will settle this tonight, in the only way we know how. There will be a triple threat match: Jon Viper vs Phil McGroin vs Erica Moxie. The winner gets a shot at my Universal Championship at Revival. But whichever one of you wins, you are only conceding yourself to another round of agony with Dark Lotus.

The crowd's roar reaches a fever pitch as the segment ends and Lotus drops the mic. Viper just stares him down as we cut to commercial.

We cut to the titantron where Sery is in his office, with an announcement to make.

Sery: Hello, ladies and gentlemen! Hope you are enjoying the fantastic show we have lined up tonight, but I’m here to talk about Revival! Neon Moon will defend their Tag Titles at Revival in a Fatal-4-Way TLC match, but with the sheer level of competition in the division, we will have three qualifying matches to decide the challengers. The qualifiers will take place over the next few shows and will consist of the following:

Synth City Thrillers vs The Liberation
Witch Hazel & Virgin Rose vs Silent Sorcery
Umbra Maxima vs Antivists (Jett and Zaiden)

And tonight, the first of those matches, Synth City vs Liberation, will take place! And that match will happen - right now!

The crowd pops for this announcement as Sery salutes us and the tron cuts off.

”Cyber Attack” by Infraction hits the PA system and out come Devon Drummond and Reuben Kojo.

Carson: The following contest is a qualifying match for the 4CW Tag Team Championship match at Revival! Introducing first, from London, England, weighing in at a combined weight of 454lbs… DEVON DRUMMOND … REUBEN KOJO … SYNTH CITYYYYY … THRILLERS!!

We cut to a short break as the Thrillers enter the ring.

===

We return from the break as ”Black Flame” by Bury Tomorrow hits the PA.

Carson: And their opponents, representing The Black Flame at a combined weight of 530lbs… the team of Garret Fischer and Bruce Rigg… THE LIBERAAAAATION!!

Qualifying Match for the 4CW Tag Team Championship Match at Revival
Synth City Thrillers vs The Liberation

The bell rings and it's Devon Drummond and Bruce Rigg starting things off. The Liberation, still smarting from their thumbtack-filled loss to the Murder of Crows, are all aggression. Rigg charges forward, but Drummond uses his technical skill to sidestep and lock in a waistlock. Rigg powers out with a back elbow and starts laying in heavy clubbing blows, beating Drummond into the corner.

Roberts: The Liberation have a massive chip on their shoulder. They need a big win here tonight.

Rigg tags in Fischer, and they hit a double suplex on Drummond. Fischer continues the assault, focusing on grounding Drummond and preventing him from using his speed. They isolate Drummond in their corner for several minutes, with quick tags and brutal stomps, cutting the ring in half masterfully. Fischer whips Drummond to the ropes, but Drummond ducks a clothesline and hits a springboard crossbody, creating just enough separation to make a desperate dive for his corner.

The hot tag is made to Reuben Kojo! Kojo explodes into the ring like a house of fire, knocking Fischer down with a series of brutal Muay Thai kicks and taking Rigg off the apron with a spinning backfist! Kojo hits Fischer with the Synthbuster for a two-count that Rigg just barely breaks up.

The match breaks down into chaos. Rigg and Kojo spill to the outside, trading heavy blows. Inside the ring, Drummond re-enters and hits Fischer with the Beat of the Drummond uppercut! He sees an opening for the finish.

Phoenix: Drummond is looking for The Padlock! This could be it!

As Drummond goes to lock in the Kimura, Rigg slides back into the ring behind him. Kojo pulls Rigg back out, but not before Rigg can deliver a chop block to the back of Drummond's knee! Drummond collapses in pain. Fischer recovers, stalks his injured opponent, and lifts him for a devastating powerbomb. He covers! ONE... TWO... THR--NO! Drummond kicks out!

Jeffrey: I thought that was it! What a display of heart from Drummond!

Fischer can't believe it. He drags Drummond to his corner and tags in Rigg, signaling for their finisher. They set up for the Doomsday Device, but Kojo runs in and shoves Fischer off the top rope to the outside! Rigg turns his attention to Kojo, but this allows Drummond to recover. Drummond stumbles to his feet, grabs Rigg from behind, and shoves him into a superkick from Kojo! Rigg is staggered! Kojo follows up with the KOJO KICK! Rigg is out on his feet! Drummond quickly locks in The Padlock Kimura! With nowhere to go and his partner incapacitated on the outside, Rigg is forced to tap out!

Carson: Here are your winners and the first team to qualify for the Revival TLC match… SYNTH CITYYYYY… THRILLERS!!

Phoenix: Synth City Thrillers have done it! After a hard-fought battle, they are heading to Revival!
Roberts: You have to credit the resilience of Devon Drummond. The Liberation targeted him, but he fought through the pain and secured the victory for his team.

Synth City Thrillers celebrate in the ring, pointing to the invisible championship belts around their waists as we go to another break.

”Possezz” by Owl Vision hits the PA, and Jon Viper walks out, his expression as cold and calculating as ever. He is followed by the rest of The Snake Pit, who stop at the top of the ramp as Viper continues to the ring alone.

Carson: The following contest is a TRIPLE THREAT match for the #1 contendership to the 4CW Universal Championship! Introducing first, representing The Snake Pit, from Madison, Wisconsin, weighing in at 230lbs, 4CW HALL OF FAMER … JOOOOOON … VIPER!!

Next, ”Numb” by Linkin Park” plays to a massive pop from the crowd.

Carson: And his opponent, from Helston, England, weighing in at 14 stone… THE MAN WHO ONCE MADE A COW TAP OUT … PHIL … MCGROIN!!

Finally, ”Antivist” by Bring Me The Horizon” brings out the final competitor.

Carson: And their opponent, from Columbus, Ohio, weighing in at 135lbs… ERICA MOXIE!!

The bell rings and the match begins with an immediate, unspoken alliance. McGroin and Moxie exchange a look and charge Viper, beating him down in the corner with a flurry of strikes. They whip him across the ring and hit a double back elbow, sending the big man rolling to the outside to regroup.

Phoenix: Smart strategy by McGroin and Moxie! Take out the biggest threat first!

With Viper on the floor, Moxie and McGroin engage in a brilliant, fast-paced technical exchange, trading arm drags and pin attempts, showing the crowd what they can do. The sequence ends with a respectful nod before their attention is drawn back to Viper, who slides back into the ring and clotheslines both of them from behind.

Viper takes control, using his power to dominate. He hits a vicious powerslam on McGroin and a gutwrench suplex on Moxie. He tries to pin Moxie, but McGroin breaks it up. The match continues in this chaotic fashion for several minutes. At one point, McGroin hits his Eggcution DDT on Moxie, but as he goes for the pin, Viper slides in and throws him shoulder-first into the ring post.

Later, Moxie rallies. She hits a springboard crossbody onto Viper and follows up with the Omaha Slicer on McGroin! She covers McGroin! ONE... TWO... Viper just manages to pull her off the cover and tosses her out of the ring.

Roberts: This is anyone's match! All three of these competitors are showing why they belong in the main event!

The finish comes when McGroin and Moxie are both back in the ring. McGroin has Moxie up on his shoulders, setting up for a finisher. From out of nowhere, Jon Viper rushes back into the ring and hits a massive Spear on Phil McGroin! Moxie goes flying off McGroin's shoulders from the impact! McGroin rolls out of the ring in agony. Viper doesn't waste a second. He stalks the stunned Erica Moxie, lifts her up, and drives her into the mat with the Fate Sealer! He covers! ONE... TWO... THREE!

Carson: Here is your winner and the number one contender for the 4CW Universal Championship… JOOOOOON… VIPER!!

Jeffrey: Viper did it! He picked his spot like the predator he is and now he's got his date with Lotus at Revival!

Viper gets to his feet as the rest of The Snake Pit walks down the ramp to join him in the ring. He grabs a microphone.

Viper: Now that the formalities are out of the way and I am officially the challenger to the Universal Championship once again… I just want to say, Lotus, that I know you thought you were done with me. I know you thought that you’d won the war, but the war doesn’t end until one of us is dead. So at Revival, I will bury you in the swampy waters you call home and I will once again call myself the 4CW Universal Champion!

Viper throws the mic away and stands tall with his faction as we cut to commercial.

"Nocturnal Strains" by Eternal Tears of Sorrow slithers into the arena. Madeline Phoenix emerges, a look of cold fury on her face.

Carson: The following contest is our main event! Introducing first, hailing from Widow's Hill and weighing in at 125lbs... MADELINE PHOENIX!

Next, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden gets the crowd on their feet.

Carson: And her opponent, from Barry, South Wales, weighing in at 185lbs, "TOP GUN" ... TOMMYYYYY … YOOOOOUNG!!

Main Event - #1 Contendership for the 4CW World Championship
Madeline Phoenix vs Tommy Young

The bell rings and the two circle each other, the high stakes palpable. The opening minutes are a chess match, a feeling-out process filled with counters and reversals. Young tries to use his speed, but Madeline, having scouted him, seems to always be a step ahead, cutting him off with a well-placed strike or a submission attempt.

Roberts: Madeline seems to have an answer for everything Young is throwing at her early on.

Young finally creates some separation with a Pele kick and starts to build momentum. He hits a springboard moonsault for a two-count that visibly frustrates Madeline. He follows up with a series of his signature Gatling kicks, but as he goes for the final roundhouse, Madeline ducks under it and locks in a Dragon Sleeper from behind! Young fights, desperately trying to get to the ropes, his face turning red. Just as he's about to fade, he uses his momentum to flip forward, sending Madeline crashing into the turnbuckle and breaking the hold.

Phoenix: An incredible escape by Tommy Young! He was just seconds away from being put to sleep!

Both competitors are down. Madeline is the first to her feet, her frustration now boiling over into pure rage. She stalks Young, pulling him up by his hair and screaming in his face. She hits him with a series of brutal forearm smashes. She whips him to the ropes, but Young reverses, sending her instead. As Madeline returns, Young hits a picture-perfect Spanish Fly! He covers! ONE... TWO... NO! Madeline kicks out at 2.9!

Jeffrey: My god, how did she kick out of that?!

Young is in disbelief. He climbs to the top rope, signalling for the Bombs Away Swanton Bomb. He flies through the air, but Madeline gets her knees up, driving them hard into Young's back! Young writhes in agony. Madeline gets to her feet, a sickening smile on her face. She lifts the wounded Young and flawlessly executes the Stonecaster DDT! She hooks the leg!

ONE... TWO... THR--NO!! TOMMY YOUNG KICKS OUT!

Phoenix: HE KICKED OUT! TOMMY YOUNG KICKED OUT OF THE STONECASTER!

That's the final straw for Madeline. The snap is audible. She gets to her feet, her face a mask of pure, unadulterated fury. She glares at the referee, then at Young, and then slides out of the ring.

Roberts: What is she doing?

Madeline reaches under the ring and pulls out a steel chair. The crowd boos loudly as she slides back in, ignoring the referee's frantic warnings to put it down. She rears back and brings the chair down with full force across Tommy Young's back! The referee immediately calls for the bell!

DING! DING! DING!

Carson: Here is your winner via disqualification… TOMMY… YOUNG!!

Phoenix: Oh, Madeline…
Roberts: Madeline Phoenix has snapped! She got herself disqualified using that chair!

Madeline ignores the bell. For a split second, she looks down at the chair and her fallen opponent, a flash of remorse crossing her face, but it's immediately replaced by rage. She begins to unleash a relentless and vicious assault, smashing the chair over and over into Young's back, legs, and shoulders.

Roberts: This is completely uncalled for!
Jeffrey: Yeah, this is a bit extreme… even for me! Young has earned his right to a World Title shot, regardless of what I think of him, and Madeline is - sorry to say it, Scott - being a bitch right now.

Scott Phoenix slams his notes down, throws off his headset, and storms away from the commentary desk, not even looking at his daughter as she continues to wail on Young.

Suddenly, "Wherever I May Roam" hits the PA system and Brian White is sprinting down the ramp, his face a mask of fury. When he slides under the bottom rope, Madeline quickly escapes on the other side, jumps right over the barricade, and disappears through the crowd without looking back once.

Roberts: Well, I am stunned by what we have seen tonight! Thankfully, the World Champion came out to put a stop to this! That’s all we’ve got for tonight! Thanks for joining us, and we’ll see you next time … on Storm Front!

The show ends with a furious Brian White checking on his wounded protégé, his eyes locked on the section of the crowd where Madeline vanished.
