GM Game Discussion Thread

If you want to join, just let us know here. All you have to do is pick a roster of wrestlers (free agents thread is a big help to see who is available) and then just ask Chux to get you a forum sorted. Once you have that, just start writing shows as if you owned your own promotion. It might help to read my (GWA) shows, or chux's (IFW) and Smokey's (D-Pro) to get an idea of what this game is about.

The best thing is you can book whoever you want in whatever part of the card you want with whatever feuds and storylines. Chux has made Kurt Angle one of the best champions in GM Game History, I've brought Daniel Bryan and Paul Burchill to become (I think) legit main eventers and D-Pro has some interesting feuds and pushes that could lead to something big once it gets it's feet under the table. There's always something good to read in GM Game. 🙂

Don't worry, it's not a big deal. All of us just post GM Game as and when we can. There's no strict deadlines like 4CW so we're OK.

I kinda wanna play again too. I know I'm a total fuck for doing this all the time and I know I always end up losing interest, but I'm in a limbo at the moment. I don't go out like a wild man so much anymore and it would be nice to do this every now and then while I'm not completely obsessed with Yugioh.

I'm sure chux wants to stick, I'm totally fine with doing a draft between you and I, Rhys. If it will be just the two of us, assuming since no replies since a few weeks ago after you threw it out. I hope we can just decide when to be on together and just kill it off going back and forth within like 20 minutes or something. If you want too, before we do any drafting I'll add our rosters to the Free agent list so we have that to go off of.

Yea, that's fine. the Wyatts, Barrett, Heyman, and Anderson are the only ones I know for sure I'd like to keep.

So thats 6 dudes I know I want/need that I had to start with.

To the best of my immediate knowledge, the FA list is updated and has all the most important and likely to be used names.

Just give me a time thats good for you and hopefully we can knock it out quick, you can have first pick also.

For the sake of some sort of continuity, I think our next shows should be Week 116 and then we can go from there.

I'll be keeping my PPV schedule as it is so if you want to work your PPVs around mine my show/PPV list is remaining unchanged.

I updated the Wrestler Achievements thread to reflect the passing of Sean O'Haire and other similar things. Soon as we get shows going I'll keep that updated.

Its crazy how in the GM Game world (as far as I know) his sole title is one reign as Silver Champion.

Do I just start at week 1 or 116 with you guys? And how many more rounds of the draft?

I still have more picks to make, but I'm pretty sure you guys won't want any of them. Are we at the point where we can just take our guys?
