Still getting use to all the storylines and what not, but I liked this show. Title matches and I liked the Triple H/Bryan segment. How close are you to WrestlingWars and is that your verison of Wrestlemania?

WrestleWars is two weeks away (next show is go home show) and yes its my WrestleMania.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Nice, might be easier for me to follow with your big show and then kind of of reset of sorts following and going forward. That being said, both of your shows r easy to follow when reading. I love that their not crazy long. I'm just getting use to what belts you have, who yor champs are, and who you got on or roster. Other than that everything flows smoothly

It's been a while! Ok, time to get reacquainted with GWA.
Grisham and JBL would be a decent announce team, I'd much prefer them to Cole, King or Taz.
It feels a bit soon for GWA to have a hall of fame, but whatever. It's a storyline, and certain guys have been pretty important for the company even if it is relatively new.
First match is an NXT showcase. Establishing Neville as a heel right out of the box here, which may be where he's going in NXT too. I don't really get it though, with that style it'll be hard to boo him. Itami is a badass anyway, so he'll have no problem getting over.
Foley is being a dick! It'll be good fun seeing him go back and forth with Booker though, they can both play humorous roles pretty well.
Japanese Honor is still a thing! They're an example of the biggest disappointment of this game, guys who you've pushed so hard for so long that they should be really big deals, but because they're not on TV getting the same push it's hard to see them at that level. They're possible choices for the hall of fame anyway.
So Kenny Omega is the new interviewer, and he uses his time to interview himself. Not bad! They always say you have to make your own opportunities, this is pretty creative. Not sure what he means by being Omega by nature though, does that mean he always comes last? We'll see if he stays on as permanent interviewer, I'm guessing he has more important things to do.
Aww! Disappointing to have Amore and Cass out with no "sawwwwwwft" promo. That's the best part! This one was about Omega anyway, and he's on his way to making history. We have a few weeks to fill to get to the payoff here, but I'm fine with that. Build some suspense! Who will be the challenger on that last week?
Awesome, a Natalya v Del Rey match. That's about as good as the womens division gets. Natalya as new champion is cool, and it means we're getting at least one rematch. Not sure where you can go from here, so hopefully this series goes a little while.
So the first GWA hall of famer is Goldberg. He's not exactly been the workhorse of GWA, but is definitely one of the bigger names the company has had and was important in establishing the place early on. It feels a bit like Sting and Angle being inducted into TNA's hall of fame before the likes of AJ Styles though, the big names who gained popularity elsewhere and then just jumped in at the top. I hope Burchill gets his due one day.
Speaking of Burchill, it looks like he's getting a title shot! I could do without Miz, but for better or worse (ie, worse) he's a top guy in GWA so he's going to be involved somehow. Sigh. I have a feeling Bryan will be ok here, he's pissed about having to defend against three guys but I don't think any of them have what it takes. It's weird seeing Bryan in a heel role here though, especially with Triple H as the authority figure. GWA is bizarro world.
Short show with a limited roster this week, feels like a show to ease us back into the routine. Hopefully the fireworks will start up next week!

Week 116 - "The Road to WrestleWars"
Live from Toronto, Ontario, Canada
The opening video plays, showing highlights of guys like Daniel Bryan, Paul Burchill, Rhyno, Kane, The Miz and Japanese Honor. After the video plays, we cut to the arena, and the theme for GWA, "Empire (Let Them Sing)" by Bring Me The Horizon blasts through the PA system as the crowd is panned by the camera.
Todd Grisham: Hello and welcome to the best wrestling show on the planet, GWA Blaze! We've always got something huge on this show and tonight we're going huger than huge! We're going gigantic! Tonight, we will find out the inaugural inductee to the GWA Hall of Fame!
JBL: ...And when it's announced, I'll accept it with honour.
Todd Grisham: Ladies and gentlemen, my broadcast partner, the great, John "Bradshaw" Layfield! John, I'm excited!
JBL: Me too, Ted!
Todd Grisham: It's Todd.
JBL: Whatever! Tonight, we've also got the Women's Championship on the line! Sara Del Rey vs Natalya, a battle of two of the best in the business! We've also got Japanese Honor returning to the ring for GWA against The Wyatt Family!
Todd Grisham: Both teams are itching to prove they should be the ones to get a Tag Title Shot at the now vacant titles. And of course, we also find out who will face Daniel Bryan in two weeks at the biggest show of the year, WrestleWars!!
JBL: The Miz is an idiot but he did win The Asylum and should get the title shot because of it! But Triple H is in charge now - and maybe he doesn't believe The Miz is best for business! Guess we'll have to wait and see!
Adrian Neville comes out to open the show with his music hitting to mark his debut in GWA. He looks pumped up and ready for a fight and he's going to get one with his opponent, Hideo Itami, making his way to the ring next.
Match One
Adrian Neville vs Hideo Itami
A back-and-forth, high octane, fast-paced melee from the get-go. Kicks and strikes, irish whips, some springboards, more kicks and strikes and repeat dominates the first few minutes. Adrian Neville gets a couple of quick near falls in succession in the next minute or so before Itami brings it back into his control with a Busaiku Knee Kick out of nowhere for a surprising victory perhaps a little earlier than expected.
Winner: Hideo Itami
Itami celebrates his victory on the turnbuckle while Adrian Neville recovers and realises he's lost. Itami jumps down from the turnbuckle and faces Neville. He offers him a handshake and Neville looks down at Itami's hand and to the audience. Neville then nods his head - and hits Itami with a forearm to the face! Neville stomps the hell out of Itami before hitting a underhook DDT. He sets Itami up and then climbs to the top rope, hitting the Red Arrow!
Todd Grisham: Is there really any need for this? Adrian Neville's just having a tantrum because he lost the match!
JBL: I dare you to say that to his face.
Adrian Neville isn't smiling anymore. He kicks the ropes and rolls out of the ring, the sudden loss definitely rubbing him the wrong way. He storms up the ramp without another glance at the ring or the fans.
~Commercial Break
We come back from the break where we are backstage with Mick Foley and Booker T! They are both dressed in suits and are in such a deep discussion they don't even notice the cameraman closing in on them.
Mick Foley: I mean, I guess I could do it myself... but who's gonna take a General Manager seriously when he's going around doing the interviews.
Booker T: You really should have gotten this settled before the show, dawg.
Mick Foley: Hold on a minute, dawg, it was your job to bring in the interviewer. I brought in the commentary team.
Booker T: Nah, dawg.
Mick Foley: Yeah, dawg. Now, since I did my job and since I have a lot of stuff to do tonight - so can I trust you to do this one thing and find me an interviewer?
Booker T: What makes you think your in charge? We're CO-General Managers, sucka. That means we work together, you dig?
Mick Foley: Yeah but we both know I'm in charge.
Mick Foley mimes his bang-bang t aunt with a smile to Booker and leaves. Booker takes off his glasses with a perturbed look on his face.
Booker T: Tell me... you didn't just say that...
Back to the ring, and Luke Harper and Erick Rowan come out first for their debuts, accompanied of course by Bray Wyatt. After them come the GWA veterans, Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura also known as Japanese Honor.
Match Two
The Wyatt Family (Harper & Rowan) w/Bray Wyatt vs Japanese Honor (Marufuji & Sugiura)
Harper and Rowan dominate with their strength to start but as the match wears on, the speed and stamina of Japanese Honor starts to show as they begin to take control. Bray Wyatt tries to get involved in the fray at one point but is met with a suicide dive from Marufuji. Sugiura eventually puts away Rowan with the Olympic Slam for the win.
Winners: Japanese Honor
Japanese Honor move up the ramp as they celebrate their victory. All three members of the Wyatt Family come around and Bray just stares down Japanese Honor and laughs maniacally. Flash vignette of Rowan's goat face ends the segment.
Booker T is in his office and is on his cell phone trying to get in touch with someone. It goes to voice mail and Booker frustratingly hangs up. There's a knock on the door and in comes GWA TV Champion Kenny Omega.
Booker T: Kenny, man, I got no time for your problems - come back later.
Kenny Omega: I actually came to see you because of your problems, Book. I hear you are after an interviewer... and I want the job.
Booker T: What? Why would you want to be an interviewer? You're the GWA TV Champion!
Kenny Omega: I'm also the most talented performer in this company. Most talented wrestler, talker and yes - even interviewer. I don't see that you have much of a choice - we haven't had a single interview all show yet.
Booker looks fed up and just sighs.
Booker T: You know what, dawg, do it. You can be the interviewer tonight... just make sure your ready for your TV Title defense later on tonight.
-Commercial Break
We return from commercial and TV Champion Kenny Omega, newly instated Interviewer, is ready for his first interview!
Kenny Omega: Ladies and gentlemen, I am here with the man who will defend his TV Championship tonight, Kenny Omega!
Todd Grisham: What? He's going to interview himself?!
Omega steps to the right as if he is now the person being interviewed.
Kenny Omega: Thanks, Kenny.
He jumps back into the interviewer spot.
Kenny Omega: Kenny, what can we expect from you tonight going into this title defense?
Interviewee jump.
Kenny Omega: It's real simple, Kenny. I'm Omega by name, Omega by nature. I do things on my own. I don't need cliques or a group to make me relevant. I'm my own clique. And I'm the only person good enough to join. I'm the TV Champion - I plan to be the longest TV Champion this company has ever seen! So tonight, you will see exactly how good the TV Champion is and why I'm called Kenny Omega!
Kenny walks out of camera shot, then jumps back in, as the interviewer.
Kenny Omega: Thanks Kenny, back to you at ringside, Todd!
Todd Grisham: Well, that was... something.
And then we see more of Kenny Omega as his music hits and out he comes for his TV Title defense. His opponent comes out next - and it's revealed to be Enzo Amore with Big Cass!
Match Three - GWA TV Championship
Kenny Omega (c) vs Enzo Amore w/Big Cass
Enzo Amore gets the crowd pumped when he comes out and throughout the match but Kenny Omega is ready for the challenge and dominates the majority of the match. Omega eventually hits Croyt's Wrath (Electric Chair -> German Suplex) to pick up the victory.
Winner: Kenny Omega (c)
Omega finishes the match with a smile and does his "oh yes, look at me" taunt after picking up his TV Title. He rolls out of the ring and holds up four fingers signifying four weeks until he is the longest reigning GWA TV Champion of all time.
-Commercial Break
And when we return its time for the last match of the evening and it's for the Womens Championship. Sara Del Rey, the former GWA Womens Champion comes down to the ring followed by Natalya who is a new member of the roster.
Match Four - GWA Womens Championship
Sara Del Rey vs Natalya
After a back and forth match that goes on for close to ten minutes, Natalya picks up the submission victory. Del Rey was building up to her finish with multiple kicks, a German Suplex and a Samoan Drop. She then set up for the Death Rey (butterfly suplex) but Natalya managed to escape her grasp and trip Del Rey up to lock in the Sharpshooter! Del Rey almost reached the ropes before being pulled back to the centre of the ring and had no choice but to tap out.
Winner and NEW Champion: Natalya
Natalya celebrates and leaves the ring. Midway up the ramp, she is met by her husband Tyson Kidd who hugs and congratulates her.
JBL: One of the most talented women in the ring I've ever seen is now the GWA Womens Champion! And no-one more deserving!
Todd Grisham: Although it has to be said, Sara Del Rey dominated large portions of that match - and a rematch is definitely in order, I think!
-Commercial Break
When we return to Blaze for the final time, it's Triple H who comes out to the ring. He's dressed in suit and is announced as the "Chairman of the GWA"... he enters the ring with a mic.
Triple H: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight is the birth of a new GWA. This GWA is better than any GWA that came before because I'm running the show. This is more exciting, more hard hitting, more unpredictable. This is Triple H's GWA! But we can't ignore the history of this great company. So, in honor of those who have dominated the history books of GWA we are opening a Hall of Fame! The first three inductees will be inducted at WrestleWars II in just two weeks! So, without further ado, I give to you, the inaugural member of the first class of the GWA Hall of Fame.
We cut to a video package, where it brings us back to the origins of GWA, where it was then known as RWA. The video package highlights the return of the WCW in the form of a stable. They dominated the shows and were led by the first ever GWA Heavyweight Champion. This man would main event the first WrestleWars show defending his title against Dean Malenko and putting his career on the line - a match which he lost, ending one of the greatest GWA Heavyweight Championship reigns in history. The first inductee into the GWA Hall of Fame - is Goldberg!!
We cut back to the live arena where most people seem pretty pleased with the announcement. Triple H continues.
Triple H: That's right, Goldberg will be inducted at WrestleWars and he will be inducted by yours truly. And now we move on to - -
Before Triple H can continue he is interrupted by the music of the GWA Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan! Bryan comes down to the ring and he doesn't look happy. He slides in and grabs a mic.
Daniel Bryan: Sorry to interrupt you, boss, but seriously? You're inducting Goldberg? before me? How many Triple Crowns has Goldberg won, Hunter? How many times did Goldberg beat The Rock with this title on the line? How many 50-Man Royal Rumbles did Goldberg win? I should be the man in that video package, and not that loser Goldberg, because I am a winner in everything that I do.
Triple H smiles surprisingly and doesn't look at all peeved that Bryan interrupted him.
Triple H: You know what? I'm in such a good mood because I've brought GWA back that I'm going to pretend like you didn't just come down here and interrupt me when I'm announcing something important - because it's actually good that you are here. In two weeks time, you will defend that GWA Heavyweight Championship at WrestleWars. You will not be inducted into the Hall of Fame. It's true, you did all those things that you mentioned, but for a start your still an active competitor - not to mention the fact that your so hated around these parts I don't know who the hell would want to induct you anyway!
Daniel Bryan: Ha ha ha! Keep up with the jokes, Hunter, it's fine. I may not be inducted into the Hall of Fame this time around but I'm going to dominate this company so much that you won't be able to ignore me. Because it doesn't matter if I'm facing The Miz at WrestleWars, even with his little group of friends calling themselves "Big Brother"... or it doesn't matter if I'm facing Paul Burchill, the biggest loser in the history of GWA and a guy who I've literally taken everything from... or it doesn't matter if it's any other challenger - because I'm the best wrestler in the world and I'm a winner. I win. It's just what I do. It's natural to me. So go ahead, tell everyone who it is I'll be facing!
Triple H chuckles and shrugs his shoulders.
Triple H: Alright, Daniel - since you are so eager - you'll be facing The Miz!
Daniel Bryan smiles and brushes his hands together as if saying Miz wouldn't be a problem.
Daniel Bryan: Great... I'll enjoy slapping the taste out of his mouth in two weeks. See ya!
Daniel Bryan drops the mic and walks out, happy now he knows who he is facing... except Triple H isn't finished talking.
Triple H: Hey Daniel, I wasn't finished.... you'll be defending the GWA Heavyweight Championship against The Miz... and Paul Burchill... and Rhyno - in a Fatal 4 Way Match!! But it'll be no problem for you right? All you have to do is win - and like you said, that's what you do.
Daniel Bryan is irate on the ramp, realising he now has THREE opponents at WrestleWars not one.
Todd Grisham: Triple H with a huge bombshell for Daniel Bryan! At WrestleWars he defends the title in a fatal-4-way match!
JBL: What a stupid decision! The only person worthy of that shot is The Miz!
Todd Grisham: Rhyno is a former GWA Heavyweight Champion - and no-one knows Daniel Bryan better than Paul Burchill! It'll be a huge night at WrestleWars and Daniel Bryan will have to defend against THREE opponents if he wants to leave the champion! Thanks for joining us, goodnight!
Quick Results
-Hideo Itami def Adrian Neville
