evolution

Almost God like? Maybe...

So, I've watched a few RAWs recently. Mostly using the fast forward button, but paying attention to certain bits.

One part is the reformation of evolution. I liked this group first time around, but I don't see the point this time. And I also don't see who is going to come out of this looking better than going in.

HHH had, imo, a decent character as the head of WWE, and was entertaining. Now, he just seems really boring and back to doing what he always used to do. Evolution has detracted from his character.

Orton was pretty bland before, but was a focal point for RAW and was doing a decent job. Now he's at the same level as Rowan of the Wyatts. Again, evolution has moved him backwards.

Batista might be a terrible wrestler, and a terrible talker, but again, he looked legit and could have been built as a threat, if done properly, but evolution has put him in the same position as Harper of the Wyatts.

The group has hurt all three of these guys.

Had it helped the shield? Imo no. Putting the shield against the Wyatts in a longer term feud would have been better. By the shield being victorious over evolution at extream rules, or in the future, will it help them?  I don't think so.

Anyone got any other thoughts?

Batista is lsaving to film a movie so Evolution is basically over now anyway.

They're doing one more, Batista is staying until Payback. They're also doing a rematch of Bryan v Kane, expect that to be buried alive. Sigh.

So if Batista is leaving, what's the point of evolution? All its doing is making Orton (who should be main event level as a singles competitr) look weak. I know in 3 months none of this will matter.

Frustrating as the only thing making me record and watch certain parts of raw were the authority and dbry. Now its evolution it makes me not care, and the train wreck of dbry and Kane is just embarrassing to see pan out.

I'm thinking that I'm done with wrestling again...

It's to give the Shield the biggest wins of their careers. They had great matches with the Wyatts and Hell No & Partner of the week, they've worked two WrestleManias, but Evolution are the biggest names they've worked so far. They were arguably main eventers before last Sunday, but beating Triple H, Orton and Batista really puts them on a higher level. They're a group with a lot to offer and nothing to lose. Batista is leaving and if or when he comes back he'll be right back where he was, Triple H can drop back into his authority role and rebuild his heat and Orton will come out of this with a decent claim to the title (unpinned at Mania, Extreme Rules and presumably Payback) and still as big as he ever was. Meanwhile the Shield have a ton of momentum and can basically do whatever they want. I really hope they don't do the split, that would be the real waste of time.
