Massacre Review
- Brittons Vs Los Dragonquistadores
Not sure why this match was on the show? LDQ had no part to play at the PPV|, and the Brittons just look weak by losing, and are a semi-active controlled team. I'm sure there is a reason.
- CD Collection Vs Cowboys from Hell
I wrote it, feedback is appreciated.
- Rhys seg
Looks like Rhys has hired the LAC. Nice enough seg, good to se the champ on the show.
- S&M Vs Skill Set
Are Sen and RD still here? Great news that OneMike is back. Good match, and pleased that Skill Set have a title shot at Revival. Definitely deserved.
- Wolfpack seg
Wolfbaine talking about Skywolf "he's not allowed on the furniture" haha, good line. Loved them talking back and forth about what to call their team. I still think the name I gave them is the best one so far...
- Storm Vs Redman
Really liking what Redman is doing. Very enjoyable stuff. Liked all the Storm Warning stuff, and liked the false finish too. Much longer match than I thought, but worth the read. Pleased that Redman retained, and I'm looking forward to the next Redman story.
- LAC hunting Carstein
Ah man, pleased that Michael Carson got used, but think you missed the chance for a Carson/Carstein mix up opportunity... Still funny tho.
- Black Vs Raymond
Jacob White looks interesting, could make NME more dangerous. And a big swerve with Raymond joining NME. This group is getting bigger, wouldn't mind seeing a decent sized feud with them now, as NME will always be close to my heart.
- Gemini seg
Nice surprise Gemini seg. Pleased to see them back, bope it's a longer term move (and hope Strung has something to do with this too!)
- Spice Vs Divyne
Decent match. Not enjoying the girls angles and matches as much as the mens, but still enjoyed this.
- Dubois seg
Nice seg as LAC continue to look for Carstein. This is reminding me of the last PPV where Rhys was looking for his GF all show.
- Valentine & Smoke Vs Redemption
No match. Has Mad Dog gone? Hope not. Belly, you know him, any news?
- Skill Set seg
haha, automated translator. They need to sack Frost... Good seg, really enjoyed the back and forth between Kensai and Paladin. Good seg, as usual.
- Wolfpack Vs RockStarrs
"Tony Rock points to Skywolf, telling him to come at him, possibly with a "bro" affixed to the end." Brilliant line. Good match, with the right team winning. Liked the seg at the end, where Wolfpack talk more about their team name. Not sure about Unnatural Predators, seems a bit WWE... Just before Skywolf revealed the new name, he said "we're better". I think "Better" would be a decent name. "Jeffrey: I still like Skywolfbaine better." I actually completely agree with Jeffrey here. Skywolfbaine would have been a great name!
- Rhysus Vs The Leader of the Cowboys
Loved the swerve here. Obviously the brain child of a genius former head booker... 😉 Decent match, liked the showing from both guys. Carstein coming out was decent, but seemed to get a little lost in the match. Liked the Cowboys coming out, and the Rhysus dive seemed pretty spectacular.
Overall, a decent show. Gemini coming out was good. A couple of no shows, so hopefully they will return soon.
- Brittons Vs Los Dragonquistadores
Not sure why this match was on the show? LDQ had no part to play at the PPV|, and the Brittons just look weak by losing, and are a semi-active controlled team. I'm sure there is a reason.
It was on the pre-show just because these guys were pretty much the only guys on the roster not to already have a match. I didn't write a match because it's not really to be taken seriously as part of anything, just a bit of filler. As for the Brittons looking weak, I've heard nothing from them since I took over here. No post, no PM, nothing. I figure they're as good as gone, but if they do come back I'd be happy to give them as big a push as they earn. This is nothing that can't be turned around.
Mad Dog has been around, just not this week. I'm sure he'll have his match written and sent very soon, he's always one of the more reliable contributors.

- Brittons Vs Los Dragonquistadores
Dark match so nothing to say really.
- CD Collection Vs Cowboys from Hell
I wasn't expecting another pre-match attack and quick pin in the match but it is what it is. Drake is spiralling fast and needs to pull something out of the bag.
- Rhys/LAC seg
Carstein did a great job writing this and other backstage segs.
- S&M Vs Skill Set
The Skill Set are a good group. Both Kensai and Wells have potential to be big 4CW stars and they are progressing well. Nice victory for them.
- Wolfpack seg
Loving these backstage segs. These two have good comedy chemistry.
- Storm Vs Redman
For a stock character, Redman is pretty fleshed out, which shows how good chux is at writing these. I enjoyed this.
- LAC hunting Carstein
Good job Carstein.
- Black Vs Raymond
Didn't see the swerve coming but NME look to be making a name for themselves fast. 4CW has always had strong factions, this one looks no different.
- Gemini seg
Love the Gemini return. I expect to see more old timers returning closer to Revival.
- Spice Vs Divyne
The feud continues, didn't expect Spice to retain. But still, the Womens division is consistent and improving and that's the main thing.
- Dubois seg
Again, Carstein did a nice job with this seg.
- Valentine & Smoke Vs Redemption
Nothing to say. Hope the match goes up soon. Valentine & Smoke FTW.
- Skill Set seg
The only criticism I have about this segment is it went on a bit too long. I love that the characters have a lot to say but I think you need to work on compressing it so it doesn't feel like such a big wall of text. But it's only a small criticism. The segment was well written.
- Wolfpack Vs RockStarrs
This was my favourite match of the night. It was well written and Rockstarrs did alot better than I expected. The new name... meh, I prefer Wolfpack but it'll probably grow on me.
- Rhysus Vs The Leader of the Cowboys
I wrote it. I believe this is the third PPV main event I've written and I hope I did it justice. There was a lot going on and I tried to make it all seem relevant and get its fair amount of air time..

The Dog & Smoke v Redemption match has been added!

Dragonquistadores def. Brittons – Not sure what’s going on with Brittons, but good seeing Dragonquistadores get a win as they were Tag Champions for awhile.
Cowboys from Hell (Descent/Villani/Virus) def. CD Collection – Wow. Another beat down and at a PPV. Drake is falling fast, but when does the climb begin???
Rhysus and LAC Segment – Interesting seeing L-A-C. Maybe they’re now R-A-C, Rhysus Abiding Citizens. See what happens.
Skill Set def. S&M – Out with the old and in with the new. Wasn’t too sure which way this match would go, although I was definitely leaning towards The Skill Set. Decent length and pretty decent match. Wolfpack will be a MUCH tougher challenge.
Wolfpack Segment – Speaking of which, awesome segment. The back and forth between these two is great and I love that they brought up the whole Wolfpack thing and talked about a new name. Good stuff.
Redman & D’Amicos def. W.H. Storm – Wow. What a great match. I was sold that Storm had pulled off the impossible, but he eliminating both D’Amico’s, Redman explaining the Captain Fall stipulation and Redman playing possum only to hit that punt kick was a great ending. The official stopping the match was great too. Redman is a little shit, but a great up and coming heel. Just awesome.
L-A-C Searching – Quick, but keeps us updated.
Black Vs Raymond – Wow. Robbed from a match, but I do like the formation of the new NME and a nice twist with Raymond being in it. Where do they go from here?
Gemini Return Segment – This is just beautiful heading into Revival. One of, if not, Greatest tag team of all time for 4CW. Beautiful.
4CW Women’s Championship Match
©Lorelei Spice def. Jenna Divyne – Though Divyne would win with the roll she has been on and Spice being out of action, but Divyne looked strong. Very rare we see class acts in efeds. This can’t be over, especially with Divyne looking strong.
L-A-C/Dubois Segment – Intimidating, but no answer. What happened to Dubois? Why are L-A-C so mean? Rhysus is looking more and more heel!
Valentine & Smoke Vs Redemption – Better late than never. Sorry about the delay.
Skill Set Segment – I like Kensi’s speech about his career and how Paladin was the future, I haven’t or at least don’t remember too much positive things being said from Kensi about Paladin. I nearly forgot about the gay thing too. Good to see the Skill Set continuing with their segments again. Nice job.
Wolfpack def. RockStarrs – Awesome match. Great length and made the RockStarrs look phenomenal as well. The back and forth and close calls were great and from a match that I honestly thought the Wolfpack, excuse me, the Unnatural Predators would roll right through. Enjoyable read as I didn’t expect it to be nearly as good as it was. And that’s not a knock on the writer, but on the opponents.
Rhysus def. Belly – What an awesome shocker. Belly revealed to be the leader of TCFH. I was totally prepared for Penance, great twist. Thought Belly had been quite from the ring. Rhysus snaps again, but had just about everyone against him, including a returning Carstein. He retains the title but I agree that his reputation took a hit. Great main event, makes me really look forward to the next SF.
Great job guys this was a very strong PPV if you asked me. I understand a lot of stock characters, but that doesn’t bother me one bit as the show was still great as well as the storylines. Again sorry for my lateness, but I think I had a good explanation and I don’t plan on that happening again. Still got a bit of catching up to do, but great job all around.

Pre-Show Match - Great Brittons v Los Dragonquistadores
- Los Dragonquistadores win.
[MASSACRE GRAPHIC]
Anyone want to make one?
Phoenix: It's time for our three on two handicap match, with the Cowboys taking on the forceably reformed CD Collection.
Jeffery: Forceably? I don't think so Scott, this is just the next step to Chris Drake returning to his former place in 4CW. Drake would have fought, and beaten, all three Cowboys in his heyday, so he needs to show he can do that now!
Loveless: Introducing first, THE COWBOYS FROM HELL!!!
The PA system suddenly fires up and Panteras "Cowboys from Hell" hammers through the speakers. The older members of the audience look to the ramp, looking forward to another blast from the past with the Cowboys.
The three figures appear at the top of the ramp and step into the spotlight to a mixed reaction, altho there are a lot of cheers prevailing.
Jeffery: And here are Descent, Jakob Villani and Virus.
Phoenix: Three very intimidating individuals Ray.
The three Cowboys all make their way to the ring, then climb into the ring, turn and wait for their opponents as their music fades out.
After a few seconds of silence both Chris Drake and Chris Dawson come out together to a rousing cheer from the crowd, altho as has become customary with Chris Drake since his return to inring action, no entrance music plays.
Phoenix: Once again, Chris Drake comes out to silence...
The CD Collection stand at the top of the ramp and look at their foes in the ring. As they stand and stare the Great Brittons both come from behind the curtain and stand next to their manager.
Phoenix: It looks like Chris Dawson has brought a little insurance of his own tonight!
Jeffery: That's not fair Scott! The Brittons have no right to be out here.
As if hearing Ray Jeffery, all three members of the Cowboys approach the referee and instruct him to ban the Brittons from ringside. The referee, without even considering the request, agrees to it and motions for the Brittons to leave. Two more referees instantly appear from behind the curtain and stop the Brittons from moving towards the ring.
Jeffery: haha, the Brittons learning the hard way that if Belly wants a three on two match, he gets a three on two match!
Both Brittons leave the top of the ramp, and the CD Collection are left alone to contemplate the three Cowboys in the ring.
They make their way to the ring, greeting fans as they go. Chris Dawson looking far more apprehensive after retiring several years before Drake.
As they get to the outside of the ring, the three Cowboys rush the two members of the CD Collection, beating them down. Virus pulls three knuckle dusters from the back of his tights, passes them to his stable mates, with the three Cowboys raining blows on Drake and Dawson.
Phoenix: Why isn't the ref stopping this!
Cuts and bruises already cover the faces of Drake and Dawson, with Dawson bleeding profusely from a cut across his head, and Drake bleeding from his nose and mouth. Still the Cowboys rain blows, until after several more seconds, and with both Drake and Dawson slumped on the mat outside the ring, the referee rings the bell to start the match.
Match 1 - CD Collection v Cowboys From Hell
Handicap
Jeffery: This is great! The Cowboys really helping Drake return to his former form here!
Virus lifts the unconscious Drake and rolls him into the ring for Descent to drop and pin him.

3!!!
- Cowboys From Hell win.
Loveless: And you winners, THE COWBOYS FROM HELL!!!
Panteras "Cowboys from Hell" hammers through the PA system again, as the three Cowboys all roll Drake to the outside of the ring and raise each others arms in victory.
Phoenix: Shocking, Ray, shocking...
The camera opens up in the back. We’re in 4CW World Heavyweight Champion Rhys’ locker room. Rhysus is standing in the middle of the room, the World Championship belt draped over his shoulder.
Up against one of the walls is a leather sofa, with his girlfriend, young daughter and a man who looks a lot like Rhysus are sat down. About a dozen or so 4CW security are in the room, and standing in front of Rhys are two men, wearing camo trousers, black boots and black vests. Steele Saunders and Von Munro. The LAC, the Law Abiding Citizens.
Rhys: Later on tonight I defend this belt against Steven Penance in a steel cage. This is a battle of the ages, past meets present. But no one cares. All people can talk about is Carstein. When I won this belt, all people cared about was how I hospitalised him. And now, after last Storm Front, again he’s all they care about.
Rhys breathes, and thinks for a moment or two.
Rhys: Somewhere in this building, here tonight, is your target. I don’t know what Carstein’s got planned, but I want him taken out.
LAC: Yes Sir!
Rhys: I don’t want him walking or talking, hell I don’t even want him breathing. You got that?
LAC: Yes Sir!
On that note, back to Sarah Loveless!
Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a #1 Contenders match for the 4CW Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, at a combined weight of 575 pounds...the three-time 4CW Tag Team Champions...Senecca and Dirk Meyer, S&M!
An eruption of cheers greets the duo, while “Berzerk” pumps through the speakers. On the 4CWtron, the acronym “S&M” lights up, and below it two figures appear on the stage. Senecca and Meyer both stay focused as they head towards the ring. Each man takes to a different corner and climbs the turnbuckles, posing to the fans.
Phoenix: After an extended hiatus from 4CW, S&M returned as surprise entrants in this tournament to crown new Tag Team Champions. They came up short, but found solace in costing the Skill Set the Tag Team Championship. Now the Skill Set wants a piece of revenge... and here we are.
Loveless: And their opponents. from Osaka, Japan and Los Angeles, California... the SKIIIIIIIIIILL SET!!!
The stage is set ablaze in an encompassing jet of flame that shoots out of the entrance way pyrotechnic boxes. As the flames quickly putter out, a blank, black screen shows just the gigantic, white words ‘SKILL SET.’ The screeching guitar riff of “Gulmira” by Ramin Djawadi hits, and Kensai, Paladin Wells and Courtney Frost walk out from behind the entrance way. Immediately, the duo are hit with a deafening chorus of ‘Skilllll Seeeet’ chants from the crowd. The trio power-walk toward the ring as a pyrotechnic blaze erupts from the stage. Kensai & Wells slide into the ring as Kensai & Paladin vault to opposite turnbuckles, and Frost stays outside the ring.
Jeffrey: S&M were GREAT back in the day. The Skill Set... eh... I don’t see the appeal.
Phoenix: Don’t see the...? Kensai has proven to be a MONSTER in singles and tag team competition. Paladin Wells is the fastest rising rookie this place has seen in years. And Courtney Frost is very easy on the eyes.
Jeffrey: But S&M, c’mon. It’s S.... and M. It’s like a sex thing.
Phoenix: Or it could be a reference to the german company Schülke & Mayr; a european expert in the field of hygiene, disifection and preservation.
Jeffrey: What?
Phoenix: I’m just saying... I know things.
Match 2 - Skill Set v S&M
#1 Contendership to Tag Team Championship at Revival X
The bell rings and Palaldin Wells faces off against Senecca. Both men lock in a collar and elbow tie up. Before either could take strength advantage, Senecca pulls Paladin into a side headlock, and then flips him over into a headlock on the mat, transitioning into a armbar, pinning down Wells. Paladin rolls away from the armbar and reverses the hold, kipping to the mat. Senecca counters with a free-hand leg sweep, knocking Paladin to the mat, and dropping an elbow, but the elbow hits the mat as Paladin quickly rolls out of the way and kips up to his feet and Senecca gets to his feet again, as the two start to ciricle each other again.
Jeffrey: Back and forth so far. Why Hasn’t ‘S’ kicked the shit out of this kid yet?
Phoenix: Wells is showing some good chain wrestling, keeping up move for move with the 4CW veteran and former champion.
Senecca and Paladin Wells look at each other before lockin up in another collar and elbow tie-up. Wells out-powers Senecca, pushing him into the ropes. Wells whips Senecca off the ropes and Senecca goes off the opposite ropes and the the two meet with a checked shoulder block, nocking Paladi back a step. Senecca smiles at Wells and goes off the ropes, and the two collide in the center of the ring, this time, with Senecca taking a step back. This time, Wells smiles at Senecca. The crowd applauds the two, and Wells looks to the adoring fans.
Jeffrey: Shut up, crowd. You are all so fucking stupid.
Phoenix: You DO know that those people pay our salary, right?
Jeffrey: Whatever.
Phoenix: Anyway... back to the match, these two match up well, and these exchanges are showing it.
As Wells turns away for a moment, Senecca hits a quick, stif jab to his face, and then takes control of the match by following up with a series of punches, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, TEN punches, and Wells staggers back to the ropes. Senecca whips Paladin off the ropes and charges with a clothesline, but Wells comes off the ropes and sucks the clothesline, going across the ring again and coming off the ropes again, cathing Senecca a huge SPEAR!!!!
Phoenix: First big hit of the contest from Wells!
Jeffrey: Senecca! Get up!
Senecca crumbles to the mat and then quickly slides to his own corner and tags in Dirk Meyer. Paladin smugly walks over to HIS corner and tags in Kensai.
Phoenix: Two fresh faces in the match.
Jeffrey: I’m not sure Kensai would ever be considered ‘fresh.’
Dirk Meyer slides into the ring and charges Kensai, who counters with a Japanese arm drag! Meyer hits the mat and is up quickly, and moves right into a (standard) armdrag. Meyer hits the mat again and is quickly up, but is caught by a high hip toss, and is up quickly again. Kensai catches him with a standing dropkick! Kensai is quickly on top of Meyer and locks in a headlock. Meyer quickly gets to his feet and reverses the hold, sliding in behind Kensai and quickly lifting him up and dropping him for a side suplex!
Jeffrey: Meyer taking advantage! Yeah!
With Kensai down, Dirk hits a series of elbow drops. 1, 2, 3 quick elbows, and then he gets back to his feet to shout out to taunt the crowd and the downed Kensai. Meyer drops with a falling senton onto Kensai midsection, and then hops to the second rope, coming off with a lionsault, back down onto Kensai’s midsection!
Jeffrey: Classic Meyer!
Phoenix: Thank you for not saying ‘vintage.’
Meyer picks up Kensai and drags him to his corner, and tags in Senecca, and lifts him up for a belly-to-back suplex as Senecca goes off the ropes and drops a huge legdrop onto Kensai’s head!
Jeffrey: Senecca continuing control of the match. Total domination!
Phoenix: That’s not how I would pout it, but, yes, he IS in control of the match right now.
Senecca lifts up Kensai to his feet and then up onto his shoulder and down for a body slam! Senecca goes off the ropes, but Kensai kips up and charges Senecca, catching him as he comes off the ropes with a big clothesline!
Phoenix: Kensai with a momentum shift!
Jeffrey: Shit!
Senecca tries to get to his feet, but Kensai delivers a dropkick to his back. Senecca is up and rolls to his corner, tagging Dirk Meyer back in. Kensai tags in Wells and Paladin and Meyer face off for the first time in the match. Wells goes in for a collar and elbow tie up, but Meyers ducks under and catches Paladin with a series of punches. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... Wells blocks and returns punches. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... Wells whips him into the ropes and follows up with a huge clothesline, knocking Meyers over the top rope and down to the mat.
Phoenix: Wells in again. fast paced match so far.
Jeffrey: S&M will prevail. They’re just playing with these punks.
From behind, Senecca smashes Wells with a double ax handle, and then anohter and then another. Meyers quickly slides back into the ring and both start to land punches on Wells. Kensai slides into the ring as the ref unsuccesfully tries to get Meyer out of the ring. Kensai and Meyer start to exchange punches. Wells and Senecca, alos, exchange punches.
Phoenix: It’s starting to break down.
Jeffrey: Aw snap! Fist-iz-iz is flying.
Meyer drops to the mat and tosses Kensai out of the ring by his trunks. Kensai topples to the ring floor. As Wells lifts up Senecca for a body slam, Meyer cathes him in the gut with a boot. Both Meyer and Senecca lift up Wells for a double suplex, and Wells smashes down to the mat.
Jeffrey: VINTAGE S&M!!!!! VINTAGE!!!!
Phoenix: I never should have brought up that word.
Senecca motions to Meyer to ‘finish it’ and Meyer slides out of the ring and climbs the turnbuckle as Senecca pulls Paladin Wells up for a suplex. Meyer gets ready to come off of the top rope for a cross body! But before he can launch, Kensai is up on the same turnbuckle and tosses Meyer off the corner and down to the concrete floor in a heap of flesh.
Jeffrey: Shit! No! Disqualify the Skill Set!!!
Phoenix: They didn’t do anything to get... nevermind.
Paladin Wells slides out of the suplex and behind Senecca. Senecca turns to Paladin Wells and is caught by a boot to the gut. Paladin pulls Senecca into a front face lock, and vaults him up for the HOLY AVENGER (Jackhammer Slam)!!!!!
Jeffrey: NO!
Phoenix: Holy Avenger!!!! Kensai is on the top rope!
Senecca crashes down and Paladin slides off as Kensai vaults off the top rope and hits THE RISING SON (Top Rope Corckscrew Moonsault)!!!! Kensai slides off and ten quicly dives out of the ring and down onto Dirk Meyer as the ref counts for him to leave. Paladin Wells slides over Senecca, and hooks a leg.
Phoenix: The pin attempt!!
The ref drops and counts.
1...
Jeffrey: NO!
2...
Jeffrey: NO!
THREE!!!!
Jeffrey: NO!
- Skill Set win to become tag team contenders.
The screeching guitar riff of “Gulmira” by Ramin Djawadi hits, the ref raises Paladin Wells’ hand in victory! Kensai slides back into the ring beside Paladin Wells as Senecca rolls out of the ring beside Dirk Meyer.
Phoenix: Paladin & Kensai get a bit of revenge on S&M with a big victory on PPV. The SKill Set are now the #1 Contenders for the 4CW Tag Team Championship!
Jeffrey: S&M phoned this one in. It must be their strategy to let the Skill Set get overconfident with a win that they threw, have them challenge and win the tag titles and then get a rematch and then REALLY compete and win the belts off of the Skill Set. VINTAGE S&M. Their are brilliant. That’s the only thing that makes sense.
Phoenix: THAT’S what makes sense?!?!?!!?
A moment later, Courtney Frost slides into the ring to celebrate with her team. The camera fades to another area of the 4CW arena.
The 4CWtron lights up to the backstage area, inside the locker room of one Eddie Wolfbaine. And, by association, Lord Skywolf, who has now taped a piece of paper with his name written on it under Wolfbaine's nameplate. The two men sit at opposite ends of a small coffee table, both seated on a steel folding chair with a handful of cards in front of them. Eddie's wife, Gwendolyn, lazily scrolls through her phone while lying across a black leather couch at the back of the room.
Gwendolyn: I'll never understand why you two pick those chairs over something like this.
Eddie lays a card down on the table, nodding at Skywolf.
Wolfbaine: He's not allowed on furniture, and I want to set a good example.
Skywolf holds his hand up in a motionless wave in response. Seeing his partner not paying attention to the game, Wolfbaine impatiently taps his fingers on the table, prompting Skywolf to throw two cards away.
Wolfbaine: Don't have all day, man. We have an ass-kicking to deliver in a few minutes.
Gwendolyn: Speaking of, I found out a little something about them you might find interesting. It seems like the RockStarrs have been around the block a bit since their first stint in 4CW, and they've been banned from every promotion that's hired them due to...
She pauses, making sure to correctly quote the article.
Gwendolyn: "Repeated failures of drug testing policies, including amphetamines and steroids, as well as verbal and physical abuse of staff and officials."
Eddie deals out three cards from the deck, then puts down one of his own.
Wolfbaine: So keep an eye out for needles. Got it.
Skywolf: Hey, it's not that simple. This is serious.
Skywolf pauses, then puts down another card.
Skywolf: We're going to need at least three...no, four...pairs of blue gloves for each of us.
Both men chuckle, but Gwendolyn doesn't look impressed.
Gwendolyn: Fine, don't take them seriously. Just don't catch me in the crossfire of your whiny bitchfest when you come back here without your belts.
Before either can protest, she's up and out of the room, slamming the door behind her and causing the slip of paper with Skywolf's name on it to fall off in the process. An awkward tension fills the room until Wolfbaine breaks it with a sigh.
Wolfbaine: She's right, you know.
Skywolf: What? About the RockStarrs?
Wolfbaine: No, about these fucking chairs. I'm starting to think my balls are liquefying here, and I might want kids one day, man.
Eddie shifts uncomfortably from one side to another.
Wolfbaine: But yeah, about the RockStarrs, too. If T-Rock's juicing and Starr's high as a kite, this might not be just your run-of-the-mill title defense here.
Skywolf pauses in thought, drawing a card from the deck.
Skywolf: The Hounds of Hell.
Eddie just looks confused.
Wolfbaine: What?
Skywolf: The Hounds of Hell. I've been giving our team name a lot of thought, and if we're going out there tonight against the biggest challenge we've faced, we should be united. A team name does that.
Wolfbaine: You figured all this, and the best you come up with is the Hounds of Hell?
Shaking his head, Wolfbaine lays down another card from the deck.
Skywolf: Hey, I didn't see you coming up with anything. For Christ's sake, they're starting to call us the Wolf Pack.
Wolfbaine: I know, I've heard it.
Eddie looks slightly disgusted.
Wolfbaine: What about Ascension?
Placing two more cards face down, Skywolf nearly cringes at the sound of the name.
Skywolf: Why don't we just call ourselves Pain & Baine and get it over with? Just show the entire world we don't give a fuck anymore.
Wolfbaine: Come on, man; I wasn't that much of a asshole to your suggestion. Okay, how about the Gods of Wrestling?
Skywolf shakes his head apologetically.
Skywolf: You're right. I'm sorry. And no, that name sucks just as much dick as the other one.
Skywolf takes two more cards from the deck.
Skywolf: I got it! The Unfuckables!
Eddie just shakes his head, muttering something insulting under his breath. Finally, Wolfbaine draws a last card from the deck, revealing his hand.
Wolfbaine: Full House, dickhead.
Undeterred, Skywolf slaps down his cards in triumph.
Skywolf: Ha! Gin! Shit.
And with that, the shot fades back to the ringside area.
We're back to the arena now, and WH Storm is on his way out to generic music. He slaps hands with rampside fans, looking intimidated but ready for a fight. He rolls into the ring and poses with his arms up, trying to get people on his side. He'll need everything he can get.
Jeffrey: This guy is going to be slaughered.
Phoenix: Oh come on Ray! We've seen bigger upsets before!
Jeffrey: Have we?
Phoenix: ...no. But Sery beat Synder that time!
Jeffrey: Ok, sure. If a lighting rig falls on Redman and both D'Amicos, I'll admit that this guy has a shot.
Symphony X's Iconoclasm starts up, and through fog and strobe lighting "The Icon" Mark Redman emerges, flanked by his D'Amicos. He lifts the kid-sized custom championship replica belt off his shoulder, holding it high overhead as the D'Amicos walk on ahead, hopping up to the apron to open the ropes for their leader. Redman slowly walks up the ring steps, across the apron, then pauses before entering the ring to keep Storm waiting for as long as possible. Storm snaps, he's had enough, hitting the far ropes and nailing Redman with a huge running dropkick to the midsection through the opened ropes. Redman takes a big bump to the floor.
Phoenix: Storm warning!
Jeffrey: Oh god. Is that going to be your new thing?
Phoenix: What? He's firing up here!
Jeffrey: If you say "Storm warning" every time he hits a move, I'm going to hurt you.
The D'Amicos are tied up in the ropes for a second, so Storm takes advantage by laying in some big right hands to Tommy, knocking him down too, then turns his attention to Frankie. He connects with one, two, three right hands before Frankie blocks one and fires a return that knocks Storm backwards into the ring. Frankie follows him in to get the match officially underway.
Match 3 - "The Icon" Mark Redman & D'Amico Brothers v WH Storm
4CW "Custom" Championship - Handicap
Frankie stalks his prey as Storm lies on the mat looking up at the bigger man. Frankie leans in to pick Storm up, but Storm kicks out at his knee to bring him down, Frankie falls face-first onto the knee of Storm and looks to be knocked out.
Phoenix: You've got it! You've got it kid! Cover him!
Storm looks shocked, frozen for a second as the reality sets in that the match could be over before it's begun. He scrambles into a cover for one! Two! But the fall is broken up when Tommy D'Amico drags Storm out of the ring by the ankle.
Phoenix: No! Damn that D'Amico!
Jeffrey: Yeah! Damn him for wanting to win this match! Damn him for doing that totally legal thing he just did!
Phoenix: I'm allowed to be disappointed, Ray!
Jeffrey: Actually you're not, we're supposed to be impartial. And anyway, if you're outraged by that I can't wait to see your reaction to what's still to come.
Phoenix: Oh, and you know what's still to come?
Jeffrey: Of course! I'm very close with The Icon you know. He tells me everything.
Tommy tosses Storm into the security wall, knocking the wind out of him as his ribs make contact. He then pulls Storm backwards into the ring apron, connecting hard with the lower back. And back again into the wall, and back a second time into the ring apron, pinballing the rookie and doing serious damage to the midsection. Tommy finishes his assault off by whipping Storm hard into the ring steps. He then leaves Storm in a heap to go and check on his fearless leader at the bottom of the ramp. Redman is just sitting there, selling his ankle. D'Amico tries to help him up, but Redman shoves him away and yells at him to
Redman: Get back in there and finish him off!
Tommy rolls into the ring to check on Frankie, who is dazed but conscious. He rolls him over to the corner, climbs through the ropes and makes a blind tag, then hops down to where Storm is laying. He picks Storm up, but Storm uses his trick again, kicking at the knee of Tommy and sending him crashing face-first into the ring steps.
Jeffrey: Oh come on!
Phoenix: Yes! You can do it, kid!
Jeffrey: Stop calling him "kid." And stop calling anything, you suck at it.
Phoenix: Don't get all bitter because your guys are losing Ray!
Jeffrey: Losing? Are we watching the same match? There are three of them!
Storm uses the time to recover a little, rolling into the ring and staggering to collapse against a far turnbuckle. The illegal man, Frankie D'Amico, is getting to his feet in the opposite corner so Storm charges at him and nails a leaping Stinger splash, bouncing out to hit the ropes near the announce tables and building momentum to clothesline Frankie clean over the top to the floor next to Redman. Storm also drops to his knees, groggy and hurting, breathing hard. Tommy D'Amico is up now, and slowly walking up the ring steps. Storm isn't ready to fight again, but has no choice. Tommy is about to step between the ropes, so Storm dives into a spear to knock him off and into Frankie on the floor. He then climbs the turnbuckles and takes a second to compose himself before leaping off with a diving crossbody to both men.
Phoenix: Storm warning!
Jeffrey: Seriously!
Phoenix: What? That's what he calls the move!
Jeffrey: No it's not. You know it's not.
Storm quickly scrambles to his feet, stumbling a little as he tweaked a knee on his landing, and rolls back into the ring. Redman gets to his feet, limping significantly on his bad ankle, to berate his boys on their failure to put this match away.
Redman: There's one of him! Why can't you beat him?! Either get back in there and pin him or you're done!
Both D'Amicos manage to stand, but Storm is ready and waiting with a big torpedo dive through the ropes onto all three men. With Redman's help, this time they manage to catch the rookie though, and together they run him into the ring apron with a modified kind of Razor's edge.
Jeffrey: Oh! That one hurts.
Phoenix: We may need EMTs out here...
Sure enough, the referee checks on the lifeless Storm and hods up the dreaded X, and within a few seconds a team of medics rush down the ramp. The D'Amicos fend them off though, not letting Storm recieve the attention he needs, instead picking him up and rolling him back into the ring. Redman grabs one of the EMTs by the shirt.
Redman: Hey! Down here! I've got a broken ankle here, do something about it!
Tommy and Frankie work Storm over a little, Tommy holds him in a full nelson while Frankie lays some punches to the midsection. The referee slides back in to try to break the double team up, attempting to restore order for the first time in the match. Storm starts to show signs of life, struggling against the full nelson hold to no avail, and eventually fighting out by pushing back on Tommy and hitting a kind of dropkick to Frankie, using him to spring himself over the top of Tommy and take him down onto the back of his head with a modified sliced bread #2. Storm holds for a cover.
One!
Two!
Frankie dives in to break the hold but Storm sees it coming and gets out of the way, leaving Frankie to hammer his brother with a double axe handle. Storm hits the ropes for momentum and knocks Frankie out of the ring with a low dropkick, then covers Tommy again.
One!
Two!
Tommy kicks out. Storm is frustrated, distraught that he can't end this match. He slides Tommy out into the ring a little to set him up, then slowly climbs the turnbuckles. He glances over his shoulder to Mark Redman, who has been helped over to the timekeeper's area so he can sit on a folding chair while the medics work on him. He's watching with wide eyes, shaking his head in disbelief. He grabs Sarah Loveless' microphone to try to prevent the inevitable.
Redman: Hey! Ref! Stop him! He can't do this! Top rope moves are illegal under Bill Watts rules! Stop him!!
Nope. Storm hits a big splash from the top onto Tommy.
Phoenix: Storm war- Um. Storm winning!
Jeffrey: Fuck. You.
One!
Two!
Three!
- WH Storm wins to become new "custom" champion.
Phoenix: He did it! He did it!
Jeffrey: This can't be happening. Icon, do something!
Attention turns to Redman, who is twitching with fury. He's racking his brains to find a way out of this, and flinches when something hits him. He tries to hide his smirk as he picks the mic up again.
Redman: Nice try, Storm! But I guess you weren't listening when I explained the stipulations for this match. This isn't just a three on one handicap, it's a captain fall three on one handicap match!
Storm protests to the referee, claiming he didn't say that.
Phoenix: He didn't say that! He said a handicap match!
Jeffrey: He's the custom champion, he decides the stipulation!
Phoenix: But he did decide, and now he's changing his mind!
Jeffrey: He's not changing his mind, he just didn't reveal all of the details.
Redman: What that means is, congratulations, you just eliminated Tommy D'Amico, but this match continues until you - pin - me. Ref, restart this match!
Match 3 - "The Icon" Mark Redman & Frankie D'Amico v WH Storm
4CW "Custom" Championship - Captain Fall Handicap
Frankie clubs Storm from behind, knocking him to the canvas and lays some stiff stomps to his back. Redman yells at Frankie to
Redman: Finish him! End this now!
So he does. Frankie drags Storm up by the hair and sets him up for a powerbomb. He lifts Storm, but Storm kicks his feet and blocks it, and again for a second attempt, then sweeps D'Amico's legs out from under him and rolls through into a jackknife cover, holding for one, two, three!
Frankie D'Amico is eliminated.
Phoenix: He did it!
Jeffrey: No! He didn't do anything, not yet! This...this is fine, it's ok! Don't worry Scott, this is all in hand.
Phoenix: Worry? This is great!
Redman yells in frustration, grabbing his hair in his hands and balling up his fists. Storm gets to his feet and looks to be confident for the first time, urging Redman to get into his ring.
Redman: No, no! I can't compete. The medic hasn't cleared me, I'm hurt!
Sick of the verbal abuse he's taken by Redman, the medic grabs the mic and makes his disgnosis to the public.
Medic: Actually, "Icon"...you're cleared!
Redman's eyes grow even wider, and he shakes his head and stamps like a child throwing a tantrum. Storm has seen enough, he rolls to the outside and starts laying punches in to the champion, knocking him back off his chair and brawling around the announce table.
Phoenix: Yeah! Get him kid! You've got this!
Jeffrey: No! Get out of here kid! Unsafe work environment!
Storm bounces Redman's head off the announce table, Redman sells like he's out on his feet. He's thrown back into the ring, Storm holds his arms out and yells in triumph, the adrenaline flowing, then slides back into the ring only to be booted square in the face by a punt kick from The Icon. Storm is immediately knocked out, and Redman slowly drops to his knees with a sadistic smile as he cradles Storm's head. He covers for one...two...but pulls Storm's shoulder up off the canvas right before three.
Phoenix: Oh come on! The kid is out! Just pin him!
Jeffrey: Oh now it's too much? You were loving this a second ago!
Phoenix: When both of these men were conscious! This is wrong!
Redman hods Storm's head under his arm as he points to the sky and asks
Redman: Up?
He hoists Storm's lifeless body up onto the top rope and positions himself under him for the iconoclasm. The referee stands in front of The Icon, waving his hands and pointing to the timekeeper.
- "The Icon" Mark Redman & D'Amico Brothers win by referee stoppage to retain the "custom" championship.
Phoenix: He's called it off. Good. Well done referee. This man need medical attention, and - OH!
Redman swipes the referee out of the way and hits his move anyway, crushing Storm with the iconoclasm. He stands over the fallen rookie, breathing hard and snarling. Medics want to get into the ring to check on Storm, but are afraid to get on the wrong side of The Icon. The D'Amicos join Redman in the ring, Frankie hands the replica custom title to his leader, who throws it down onto Storm without looking at it.
Phoenix: He didn't even want it!
Jeffrey: Ha!
Phoenix: This was all about crushing the dreams of this young kid.
Jeffrey: Oh, you cynic. He wanted the custom championship but when that coward Carlos Murphy no-showed, then it became all about crushing the dreams of this young kid! And I want to be the first to say, mission accomplished! Hahahahaha!
The screen cuts to the back and the LAC are marching down a corridor. Their eyes dart about everywhere they go, looking for any signs of Carstein. They spot a man. Steele Saunders grabs him and turns him around, and it’s former 4CW interviewer Michael Carson!
Von Munro: Have you seen Carstein?
Carson: No, but do you guys –
The LAC let go of Carson and walk off. Hurt, Carstein sighs and mutters to himself.
Carson: - want an interview? Guess not.
Phoenix: Up next, we have the latest incarnation of NME, with Siddney Black, going up against the returning Kurtis Raymond.
Jeffery: If was NME that took Raymond out all those months ago, and he came back well with a good victory over Black a few weeks ago. This is Black's chance to get even!
Phoenix: And to stack the odds against Raymond, Black has been able to choose his own referee for the match. This could go very badly for Kurtis Raymond...
Kurtis Raymond's music hits and he strides confidently out, making his way to the ring with no fuss. He wears a hoodie, baring the logo of a local gym, with his hood up masking his face. Once in the centre of the squared circle he turns and faces the top of the ramp, waiting for his opponent.
Phoenix: All business tonight from Kurtis Raymond.
The arena lights slowly fade down and die until there is complete darkness. The first few chords of ACDC's Back in Black start to pound over the arena speakers and Siddney Black strides and down the ramp to the ring, entering the ring and standing nose to nose with Raymond. The two exchange words before taking a few steps away from each other.
Loveless: And introducing the special guest referee, JACOB WHITE!!!
A new figure appears at the top of the ramp, standing 7'4", and looking like he weight almost 350lbs. Slowly the giant figure steps into the light and makes his way towards the ring. The referee shirt barely covering his body.
Phoenix: Wow, this guy is huge!
Jeffery: I think you could call Jacob White a difference maker...
The huge referee steps over the top rope and stands between the two wrestlers. Raymond looks to Black, then to White and back to Black again.
Raymond rolls his neck from left to right, making it crack. He pulls the hood of his sweatshirt back to reveal his face, a mask of determination and anger. Siddney Black beckons for a microphone, which is passed to him.
Black: Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to the newest members of NME, Jacob White...
The giant referee raises one club like fist into the air.
Black: And Kurtis Raymond!!
Shock from the crowd as Raymond removes his hoodie and reveals an "NME 4 Life" t-shirt underneath. The three men embrace and laugh.
Phoenix: What? So Raymond has joined NME? Holly crap! NME have not only signed the biggest wrestler I've seen in 4CW for a long time, they have also signed someone who recently fought for the 4CW Heavyweight title! This could be a real difference maker for NME here today!
Black: Ladies and Gentlemen, I told you we were getting stronger. I told you we were growing. Be sure that more will flock to our banner! 4CW, we are coming for your titles!
"Back in Black" by ACDC hammers out again as the three NME members all vacate the ring together and disappear up the ramp and through the curtain.
We're shown a brief video recap of tonight's pre-show match, Los Dragonquistadores scoring a victory over the Great Brittons with El Conquistadore's 'code gold' powerbomb roll up. This leads into a backstage interview with the masked superstars.
Jenny: Ladies and gentlemen my guests at this time, Cyber Dragon and El Conquistador! Guys, congratulations on your victory tonight. This match had to get you back into title contention, right?
Dragon: That's what we're hoping, Jenny. All we can do is win, and that's what we've been doing. We weren't a part of the tag league, but two weeks ago we were on the winning side of a six man tag against the D'Amico Brothers and Mark Redman, and tonight we came out on top against the Great Brittons. Both great teams, but we got the job done.
Jenny: Speaking of the six man tag, what's your association with WH Storm?
Dragon: We know what it's like to try to make it in this business, it's not easy. Storm found himself in a bad situation and we wanted to do our part. We couldn't be there for him tonight, but if he needs us to even the scores again in the future we'll be there.
Jenny: On April 20th 4CW will celebrate its- ahhhh!
The Dragonquistadores are knocked down from behind and stomped mercilessly by the yet again returning Victor and Dredrick Kincaid, Gemini.
Jenny: Guys! Stop! What are you doing?!
Victor: Cashing cheques and breaking necks. Something like that anyway.
Jenny: You've made your point!
Dredrick: Actually Sarah, we haven't.
Jenny: I'm Jenny. Sarah is my sister.
Dredrick: Shh, shh, shh. There's a good girl.
Victor: I'll make this short, because we're here unannounced and that means very, very few people bought this show. 4CW will soon be celebrating its tenth anniversary, and what kind of celebration would it be without the greatest tag team in the history of 4CW, Gemini?
Jenny: A better one.
Dredrick: Not a celebration at all, brother. Not a celebration at all.
Victor: Indeed, brother. We are not yet sure who our victims will be, if any, but while our invitations must have been unfortunately lost in the mail, we will be there if only to reflect on how we have been in this company for a decade and miraculously not aged a day.
Dredrick: It truly is a miracle.
Victor: Truly. Now, if you don't mind, we'll be taking our leave. Ta-ta.
Gemini arrogantly turn and leave the area.
Jenny: No. I don't mind at all.
The camera pans down to show Dragon and Conquistador in pain on the floor.
Back in the arena, Within Temptation's The Howling blasts and Jenna Divyne makes her way out onto the stage. She's set for competition, ready to make this womens division matter. She takes a deep breath and approaches the ring with confidence.
Loveless: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the 4CW womens championship. Entering first, from Lansing, Michigan, Jenna Divyne!
Jenna is stoic as her name is called, posing on the turnbuckle as if she's taking this seriously, none of the usual diva flirting. Her music cuts off and is replaced by After Forever's Equally Destructive, another powerful anthem to bring out the current champion.
Loveless: And her opponent, from Vancouver, British Colombia, the current reigning and defending 4CW womens champion Lorelei Spice!
Spice takes her time even making an appearance, and once she does step through the curtain she seems to be in even less of a hurry to get to the ring. She shows no fear or intimidation, just wants the full attention of everyone before she makes her move. She slowly walks down the ramp, never taking her eyes off Jenna, who in turn is carefully watching Lorelei. Spice dumps her long, black ring jacket at ringside and hops up to the apron to enter the ring. The referee takes the title belt from Spice and shows it to both women, then holds it overhead.
Jeffrey: Jeez. How long did that take? Who does she think she is, the Undertaker?
Phoenix: She's the champion Ray, she's earned it.
Jeffrey: All I'm saying is that if a hot chick like Lorelei is going to take her time walking out here, she should at show us the courtesy of not wearing a big coat!
Match 4 - Lorelei Spice v Jenna Divyne
4CW Womens Championship
- Before they lock up, Jenna offers Lorelei a handshake. Lorelei takes a good long look at the extended hand and opts to just slap it instead and they circle each other to start things off. They lock up with a collar and elbow tie up, with Spice backing Divyne up to the ropes, but Divyne rolling Spice along and into the corner. Jenna backs off, content to just leave it at that, but Spice grabs her and tosses her into the corner and lays some knife edge chops to her challenger.
Phoenix: The champ here, not happy with Jenna showing mercy.
Jeffrey: Ooh! I love to see these girls chop each other! Yeah! Hit dem boobies!
Phoenix: This match started with a show of respect, but this is anything but respectful. I think Lorelei feels disrespected that Jenna eased up on her.
Jeffrey: How likely do you think it is that they end up spanking each other? I'll be pretty bummed if we don't get at least a little spanking.
Spice whips Divyne to the far corner and follows her in, but Jenna plants her foot on the middle turnbuckle to prevent the impact and hits Spice with a back elbow. Spice staggers, Divyne attempts a German suplex but Spice blocks it and reverses the rear waist lock looking for one of her own. Jenna goes half way up, but then rolls under into a roll up for a one count. Both women get back to their feet and circle each other again. Instead of locking up this time they opt for a test of strength, locking their hands together. Spice initially overpowers Divyne, but Jenna doesn't want to match power with the taller woman, she wants to outwrestle her. Jenna rolls back and plants her feet on Lorelei's midsection, lifting her up into a kind of monkey flip, then uses the momentum of Spice falling back down to catapult her high up to land with her knees on Spice's shoulders. This time she falls back to hit the full monkey flip, still keeping their hands locked as Jenna rolls backwards through to mount Spice for a cover. Spice gets a shoulder up at two, so Divyne forces it back down. Spice gets the other shoulder up instead, so Divyne forces that one down too. This time Spice kicks out to buy some space, then rolls backwards back to her feet, still maintaining the grip on Jenna's hands so her arms are twisted. Jenna sells this well, trying everything she can to reverse the pressure. After rolling under the arms one way and the other, Divyne pulls Spice in close and ducks under to hit a modified Nothern lights suplex, again managing to keep the grip applied. One, two, but Lorelei bridges out! The women pull each other up and rotate around, Spice managing to bring Divyne down with a version of a neckbreaker.
Phoenix: Wow. What a sequence there. These women aren't your usual divas.
Jeffrey: Seriously, spanking. I'll take odds, a percentage, even a ratio. Are we getting spanking here?
Phoenix: No, Ray. We're not getting any spanking.
Jeffrey: Why would you hurt me, Scott? Why do you want to ruin my Christmas?
Phoenix: It's January 12th!
Jeffrey: Oh, so that makes it ok to come to my house and piss in my snowcone?
Phoenix: Can we just watch this match?
The tempo picks up a bit as the girls circle each other a third time. Spice lunges at Divyne only for Divyne to back away, then Divyne lunges at Spice only for Spice to back off, neither wanting to give the other any kind of opening. Spice fakes one way and lunges the other to shoot for a take down, but Divyne sprawls like a veteran MMA fighter to block it, applying a guillotine choke. Spice fights against the hold with elbow strikes, buying herself some breathing space and then grabbing Jenna's arm and spinning out into a hammerlock counter. Jenna sidesteps and ducks under, countering again into a full nelson. Spice pushes back and runs Jenna into a corner with enough force to break the hold, then turns and starts laying in some elbow thrusts to the midsection. When Divyne is sufficiently weakened, Lorelei lifts her up to a seated position on the top rope and climbs up after her. Lorelei is looking for a superplex, but Divyne shuffles out and tries to counter into a sunset flip powerbomb, but Spice is ready for her and is holding the ropes to prevent being pulled down. Spice lays in a good right hand shot to Divyne's head, but Jenna gets out the way before being hit by a second, instead simply kicking at Lorelei's leg to knock her down to the canvas. She follows up by springboarding high into the air from the bottom rope and nailing the champion with a big knee drop.
Phoenix: These women going hold and counter hold here! Have we ever seen such technical prowess from female competitors here in 4CW?
Jeffrey: What? I was looking at asses.
Phoenix: You're an ass.
Jeffrey: Usually I might be insulted, but if you're comparing me to these two visions of gluteal perfection right here I take that as a compliment.
Divyne covers for a near fall. Instead of getting frustrated, Divyne pulls Spice up to her feet and lifts her up into a powerslam clutch.
Phoenix: Oh! We've seen this before! Jenna beat Candi with this move, the Divyne intervention, a swinging faceplant!
Jenna swings and releases Spice's legs, but Lorelei manages to land on her feet instead of taking the impact, and takes Jenna down with a big lariat. Both women are down and blown up, so the referee stats a double down count. He doesn't get far though, as neither competitor is going to let it end that way. They fight to their knees trading punches, and fight to their feet still rocking each other with right hand shots, back and forth. Spice's power advantage comes into play as she gets the best of these shots, backing Divyne into a corner where she whips her hard to the opposite side. Spice looks for a spear, but Jenna leaps up high to avoid impact and sends Lorelei into the ring post, then falls down into a schoolgirl roll up.
One!
Two!
Kick out. Both girls scramble to their feet and Spice swings a wild right hand that Divyne ducks and turns into a big back suplex. Feeling the momentum build, Jenna stays on the champion and lays in some crossface strikes before locking in a rear naked choke.
Jeffrey: I'd love to choke on her naked rear.
Divyne is using the hold to catch her breath as much as to wear the opponent down, but Spice isn't going down without a fight and starts firing off elbows and punches to the midsection to try to break the hold. Jenna gives up on the choke and cuts Lorelei off with a knee lift, rocking her and leaving her wide open for the Divyne intervention. Jenna lifts the champion up and swings only to be countered again, this time with a tight inside cradle.
One!
Two!
Three!
- Lorelei Spice wins to retain the womens championship.
Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner and still 4CW womens champion, Lorelei Spice!
Equally Destructive hits again and both women lay on the canvas worn out. Jenna is actually first to get to her knees, pissed at herself for being caught while in such a strong position. Spice gets to her feet and is handed the belt as the referee raises her hand. Jenna steps through the ropes to leave, but Lorelei grabs her arm and pulls her back. Both women look at each other in the middle of the ring, and this time it's Lorelei Spice who offers the handshake. Jenna takes a second to push her disappointment aside and accepts. They share a brief hug and Spice raises Divyne's hand, causing the music to change to The Howling. Spice leaves the ring first, allowing Divyne to have a little moment.
Phoenix: A classy move there by the champion, giving a great deal of respect to her challenger. On a different night, this match could easily have gone the other way.
Jeffrey: Yeah, and on another different night, these two could have been wrestling in mud. Belly, I know you're listening.
The camera cuts to the backstage interview area, where Jenny Loveless is standing with Marie Dubois, who’s wearing a dark blue velvet robe, decorated with gold pentagrams, and the hood down.
Jenny: Thank you Scott! Marie Dubois, there’s a question on everybody’s lips tonight. Is Carstein here?
Before Marie can answer, the LAC appear.
Jenny: Umm, guys I’m try-
Von Munro shoves Jenny out of the way
Jenny: Aaarrgghhh!
Steele Saunders goes to grab Marie. Marie knocks his hand away, and knees him in the private area.
Saunders: Owwwwww, you bitch!
Munro grabs Marie by the throat, and pins her against the wall. Jenny runs off, calling for help. He leans in, his nose almost touching Marie’s. Marie, looking quite proud, stares back at Munro, unafraid.
Munro: You heard the question Dubois, where’s Carstein?
Voice: Hey c’mon, let ‘er go!
Dozens of backstage agents and refs appear, with Jenny. They grab a hold of Munro and pull him away from Marie.
Munro: Tell your boyfriend to stay from the match tonight, or he’s dog food!
The agents escort the LAC away from the interview set, as Marie’s seen to.
Loveless: Ladies and gentleman the following contest is an elimination handicap no disqualification tornado tag team match! Introducing first, weighing in at a total combined weight of 764 pounds! REDEMPTION!!!!
“Hells Bells” by AC/DC hits and after a few seconds out walks Roman followed by Mullet Superior. Then very slowly walks out Minion carrying a trash can, filled with weapons in one hand and he leans a black bat against his shoulder and neck with his other. Superior grabs the can and reaches in grabbing and pulling out a pair of brass knuckles and tosses them to Roman as all three men walk down the ramp to the ring. The crowd boos as they prepare for war against only two individuals. Superior and Roman slide into the ring underneath the bottom rope as Minion takes his time and walks the steel steps and climbs over the top rope. As soon as the three regroup in the ring their music cuts out.
Loveless: And their opponents, weighing in at a total combined weight of 456 pounds! The team of Smoke and Jack “Mad Dog” Valentine!!!!
“Supernova Goes Pop” by Powerman 5000 hits and out walks Smoke followed by Valentine to the crowd’s delight. Smoke wields a sledgehammer and Valentine a steel chair. They march down the ramp with authority keeping their eyes on all of Redemption.
Phoenix: And this match looks like it’s going to be a brutal one! Weapons and foreign objects galore!
Jeffrey: Valentine and Liquid don’t stand a chance. Minion is an animal and an armed one with two armed goons at that.
Valentine and Smoke stop in front of the ring and carefully begin to enter as all of Redemption stand back allowing them entry, but look like they could attack at any moment. Valentine heads over to the steel steps instead. Valentine puts his foot on the first step and then steps back down as Superior yells at him. Valentine then reaches down and tosses the heavy steel steps up over the top rope and into the ring and the crowd cheers. Smoke and Valentine then simultaneously slide into the ring. Only the steel steps and the 4CW official stand between the two teams. The official looks at both teams and signals to them asking if they’re ready. After both teams ignore him, he calls for the start of the match.
*Ding* *Ding* *Ding*
Match 5 - Jack Valentine & Smoke v New Redemption
No Disqualification, Handicap
Both teams stare each other down waiting for someone to make the first move. Valentine then flinches forward but stays in place and the movement sets off Mullet Superior who starts running and Roman follows suit. Mullet raises trash can above his head and attempts to swing at Valentine, but he quickly drives the steel chair into his gut and he drops the trash can. Valentine then raises the chair up and slams it into the exposed back of Superior. He pulls back to do it again, but Minion quickly grabs the chair with one hand, impeding the attempt. Valentine pulls the chair away and Superior rolls towards the apron. Minion quickly swings the bat at Valentine and he blocks it with the chair. Minion swings again and again it’s blocked. Minion pulls back and swings a third time and knocks the chair right out of Valentine’s hands and out of the ring. Minion grins at a defenseless Valentine and swings a fourth time, only to have Mad Dog quickly drop to the mat while simultaneously hitting a drop toe hold on Minion’s foot, that quickly drops him and he slams his face right into the steel steps! Meanwhile, Roman and Smoke have locked up and Smoke refuses to release, trying to protect himself from a shot from the brass knuckles. Roman suddenly breaks free and swings at Smoke’s head but he sidesteps him and shoves him in the back forcing Roman through the ropes. Roman manages to hang onto the ropes and remain on the ring apron as Smoke reaches over and grabs him. Roman quickly reaches up and grabs Smoke from behind the head and drops down off the ring apron, forcing Smoke’s throat full force into the top rope! Smoke is then launched straight up in the air and off his feet and he hits the mat hard holding his throat in pain. Roman mouths off to the fans before swiftly sliding back into the ring. He waits for Smoke to stand as he readjusts the pair of brass knuckles on his right hand. Smoke slowly stands while coughing and turns toward Roman and he swings. Smoke just manages to duck underneath that attack and then quickly rushes and tackles Roman and they tumble through the ropes and to the outside!
Phoenix: And as expected, chaos is unfolding in the ring!
Minion holds his face after eating the steel steps. He looks up and eats a Dropkick to the jaw and he forcefully rolls away. Valentine quickly gets to his feet as he sees Superior standing and resting on the ring apron, leaning against the ropes. Valentine heads over and reaches out, but Superior swiftly shoulder blocks Valentine’s midsection and he stumbles away. Superior then leaps and balances on the top rope and propels himself toward Valentine feet first! He connects with both feet to the back of Valentine and he flies forward and slams his chest into the turnbuckle hard! He slowly stumbles out of the corner and turns only to have Mullet Superior rush and clothesline him up and over the top rope to the floor below! On the other side of the ring, still on the outside, Roman and Smoke trade blows back and forth. Roman starts to gain the upper hand, although without the brass knuckles. He starts hammering away on Smoke and pulls back for a haymaker. He delivers, but Smoke quickly moves his head and Roman’s knuckles all slam right into the ring post! He wiggles his hand around in pain and dances towards the guardrail. Smoke quickly springs into action and runs towards Roman. Roman looks up just as Smoke connects with a huge Spear that sends both men right through the guardrail and they spill out into the crowd as people scramble to get out of the way! Both men are slow to move.
Phoenix: Good God! Smoke and Roman broke right through the barricade and into the crowd!
Jeffrey: I never understood this. Why would Smoke hurt himself to hurt Roman more? Lack of brain cells.
On the other side of the ring Superior walks along the ring apron as Valentine gets to his feet. He turns around still a bit dazed and Superior leaps feet first and lands on Mad Dog’s shoulders, leans backwards and sends Valentine face first into the steel post with a big time Hurricanara! Valentine hits the floor and rolls away from Superior and Minion joins them on the outside. Both Superior and Minion stalk Valentine. Minion gets him up by his hair and tosses him into Superior, who holds him in a Full Nelson. Minion lets loose a barrage of left and rights to the unprotected torso of Mad Dog and then connects with a haymaker to the jaw! He then grabs Valentine by the head and tosses him further away as he stumbles and falls. Superior and Minion chuckle before Superior is instructed to retrieve the bat in the ring. Valentine remains on the ground and sees the pair of brass knuckles lying on the ground from where Smoke and Roman did battle. Mullet Superior returns with the black bat in hand and gives it to Minion. Superior then grabs Valentine by his hair and starts to get him to his feet and Jack Valentine springs into action. He shoves Superior away and drops to his knees as Minion swings the bat for a whiff. As Valentine drops to his knees, he tosses up his forearm which connects with Minion’s groin and he drops the bat and holds his junk in pain!
Jeffrey: Hey! No fair! Cheating!!!
Valentine stands and turns toward Superior who swings for a big clothesline, but it’s ducked. Superior quickly turns around and just as he does he eats a vicious blow to the eye from the brass knuckles and he drops like a rag doll to the ground. Valentine lifts a nearly lifeless Superior up and rolls him into the ring and follows suit. Valentine walks over and grabs the trash can lid out of the trash can. Superior starts moving and crawling. With each movement, drops of blood fall from under his left eye and hit the mat. As soon as he lifts up his head, Valentine slams the lid right into his face! Superior hits the mat again, only to have Mad Dog continue the attack with the lid, hitting him over and over again. Valentine looks up and sees Minion attempting to enter the ring, so he alertly runs over and slams the lid into the head of Minion, sending him back down to the ground. Valentine throws the lid at him in disgust. He then grabs the trash can itself and places Mullet’s head and upper body inside before ascending the turnbuckle to the top. Suddenly, Roman appears on the ring apron and he reaches up for Mad Dog, but he kicks him away and he falls back down to the outside and is again assaulted by Smoke as the two continue to go at it. Valentine finally leaps through the air and pulls his arm up revealing his elbow and he drives it right into the trash can and Superior!
Phoenix: And Valentine is absolutely decimating Mullet Superior! I’m not even sure if he’s conscious anymore!
Jeffrey: Superior was the weak link anyway; looks like Minion and Roman have cut their losses as they’re teaming on Smoke, while Valentine wastes his time with the Mullet!
Valentine pulls the trash can off and covers Superior as the referee slides in the ring and makes the count.

3…
Mullet Superior has been eliminated.
Valentine rolls over to rest, but unbeknownst to him, Minion and Roman are really taking it to Smoke on the outside. Minion lifts Smoke up above his head and drops him onto the guardrail, landing on his throat. Roman and Minion begin stomping the hell out of Smoke as Valentine quickly slides to the outside, but Minion is prepared and quickly turns and knocks him down to the floor with a clothesline. Roman and Minion now focus on Valentine and stomp the hell out of him before tossing him into the ring and following. Roman reaches down and grabs the steel chair and slams it into Valentine’s back as he tries to crawl away. Minion then raises his arm as the crowd boos heavily as he senses the end for Valentine.
Jeffrey: Get him boys! Powerbomb him right through the mat and out of 4CW!!!!
Roman assists in lift up Valentine onto Minion’s shoulders and the positions the chair right below. Smoke is nowhere to be found as Minion slams down Valentine with the Jackknife Powerbomb right onto the chair! Valentine looks to be in serious pain as Roman drops to his knees and slowly makes the cover.

Smoke flies off the top turnbuckle and his leg comes down right on the back of the neck of Roman, breaking the count!
Jeffrey: No! Damnit, it was so close!
Smoke pops up and ducks under a Minion punch and then starts unloading with a barrage of his own punches. He backs Minion up against the ropes and then leaps and Dropkicks him in the face and he slowly flips over the top rope, but remains on the ring apron. Smoke turns his attention to Roman and quickly kicks him in the gut and gets behind him lifting him into the air by his arm pits facing the opposite direction and then slams him down hard for the Smoke Bomb, shades of the Razor’s Edge! Smoke pops up and heads over to Minion on the ring apron, but Minion unexpectedly thrust his shoulder through the ropes and into Smoke’s midsection. Minion quickly reenters the ring and lifts up Smoke high into the air, with his feet reaching for the ceiling. He drops back and Smoke’s body slams into the canvas! Minion quickly gets up and grabs Smoke by his head and forces it in between his legs. He raises his arm up signaling for the Jackknife Powerbomb. He lifts Smoke up onto his shoulders and Smoke starts throwing some defensive punches, but Minion endures and slams Smoke down into the canvas as his body contorts and he lies motionless. Minion drops to a knee grinning and slowly looks up to see Valentine lying right next to Roman as he drapes his arm over top of him! The official makes the count!
1…
Minion gets to his feet.
2…
Minion rushes across the ring!
3…
Minion dives and hits Valentine, knocking his arm off of Roman! But the official signals for three and that Roman has been eliminated! Minion rushes to his feet and grabs the official by his shirt demanding answers.
Roman is eliminated.
Phoenix: What awareness by Jack Valentine!
Jeffrey: He saved Roman! What hell Ref!
Phoenix: It’s now 2 on 1 in favor of Valentine and Smoke, but they are both down and Minion was just heating up!
Realizing he is now outnumbered, Minion tosses the official aside and heads back over to Smoke. He sets him up for another Powerbomb. Valentine makes a last ditch effort to save his partner, but Minion kicks him in the head and Valentine nearly rolls out of the ring. Minion lifts Smoke and slams him down to the mat for a second Jackknife Powerbomb and this time immediately makes the cover.

3…
Smoke is eliminated!
Phoenix: And it’s down to Valentine and Minion, with Minion well in control.
Jeffrey: Get him Minion!
Minion grabs Valentine by his foot and drags him to the center of the ring. He grabs the steel steps from much earlier in the contest and raises them above his head and slams them down into the back of Valentine! Not once, not twice, not even three times, but four vicious shots to the back of Valentine with the steel steps! Valentine isn’t moving as Minion is grinning ear to ear and then roars out to the crowd. The react with massive boos, but are helpless as Minion gets Valentine up and forces his head between his legs.
Phoenix: Not another Powerbomb! He’ll break him in half!
Jeffrey: Break him into a thousand pieces for all I care! Ahahaha!
Minion flips Valentine up onto his shoulders, but Valentine immediately drops down on his feet. A stunned Minion quickly looks up and eats a Superkick to the chin! Both men drop to the mat!
Jeffrey: Wha….what the hell just happened!?
Both men are fighting to stand and slowly getting there. Valentine uses the ropes and is barely up before Minion. Valentine takes a few steps and swings at Minion who tosses up his arm and blocks the attempt. Minion then connects with his own right and Valentine stumbles backward. He bounces off the ropes and Minion swings for a homerun clothesline, but Valentine ducks under it and swiftly picks up the steel chair. He turns and slams it into the face of Minion! Minion looks out on his feet as Valentine wastes no time tossing the chair out of the ring and kicking Minion in the gut and hooking Minion’s arms! He leaps back connecting with the Flea Shot! Minion’s face bounces off the canvas and Valentine rolls him over and hooks the leg!

3!!!
Minion kicks out, but the official signals for the bell!
- Jack Valentine & Smoke win.
Loveless: Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of this match, the team of Smoke and Jack “Mad Dog” Valentine!!!!
“Supernova Goes Pop” by Powerman 5000 hits. Minion shakes his head and looks around stunned. Valentine slowly gets up and has his hand raised and the crowd goes wild. Minion gets up and grabs the referee from behind and angrily tosses him right out of the ring. He gets in Valentine’s face and the two go back and forth with words, but before either can attack the other, Smoke enters the ring with Minion’s black bat and rams it into his ribs. He then holds it over his head and slams into Minion’s back. Valentine and Smoke then grab Minion and forcefully toss him over the top rope and he spills out onto the floor and the crowd cheers. They both raise their hands in victory!
Phoenix: And there you have it! Smoke and Jack Valentine have overcome the odds and defeated Redemption! Redemption is no more!
Jeffrey: And the entire match was bullshit. A scam! Minion saved Roman and he himself kicked out! Cheated! Always cheated!
Phoenix: It was a 2 on 3 no DQ match Ray. How could anyone cheat?
Jeffrey: Just shut up Scott!
The camera opens up to the Skill Set locker room. The door opens up and the lovely Courtney Frost walks in in a slinky black dress and matching heels. It was safe to enter because Paladin Wells had texted her that the pairing had finished changing into their street clothes.
Frost has an iphone in her hand and is typing a-mile-a-minute as she walks in.
Wells: What ya got?
Frost: New Software for the 4CW program. It lets me directly upload Kensai’s Chinese right up onto the screen. I don’t need to talk to you two anymore. I can be like a stenographer for the Skill Set.
Wells: Fun fun.
Frost has a twinkle in her eye and a smirk on her face as she slides in and then gives ‘her man’ a quick kiss on the lips before stepping back and leaning against a locker. Wells; bag over his shoulder; smiles as Kensai Jin Lee just rolls his eyes. Kensai speaks, and Frost types his words into her iphone app, and her translation of his words appear on the screen for the 4CW audience:
Kensai: Nǐ shì shénme rén? 15?
Translation: What are you guys? 15?
Frost: Hey!
Wells looks at Kensai with a smirk at Kensai’s teasing.
Wells: Hey, you don’t see me making faces when you’re all smoochie on your guy friend.
Kensai: Yī, máozétán rènzhèngfēi wǒ de HUSBAND. Dì èr, wǒmen shì bùshì’ smoochie’zhī lèi de rén.
Translation: One, Mao Tan Ren is my HUSBAND. Two, we are not ‘smoochie‘ kind of people.
Frost: Yeah. Why’d we get the BORING gay guy. No drag queens, no flamers, no DRAMA queens, no ‘Just Jack’... we get the ‘I’m just like you, just gay’ gay guy.
Wells: I just pictured Jin in drag. THAT image will be burned in my mind forever.
Kensai: SILENCE!
Translation: SILENCE!
Frost: Relax, we’re just kidding. Where is ‘Too bad he’s gay’ Mao Tan Ren?
Kensai: Mao Tan Ren ń zuòpǐn wéi shēng. Tā wàichū chūchāi.
Translation: Mao Tan Ren WORKS for a living. He’s away on a business trip.
Wells: So, are you coming out with us tonight?
Kensai: Yào chūqù ma? Yào chūqù ma? ! ? ! ? ! ? Wǒmen jīn wǎn bù chūqù. Wǒmen shì zhù zài! Hé shíjiàn.

Kensai’s Translation: We are now the Number one contenders to the 4CW Tag Team championship. We have to be getting better every day of we want to be a champion at ANY LEVEL. 4CW is home of many talented wrestlers... wrestlers who will be preparing to take our spot, and if they can’t they’ll be preparing to take the Tag Team Championship from us once we win the titles.
Wells: Hey, we’re celebrating tonight.

I know that it takes EVERYTHING THAT YOU CAN BRING to become champion. I know that it takes MORE THAN YOU HAD before you became champion to STAY champion. I have done all that, and you have done NOTHING!!!! You need to GET BETTER every day to become champion and STAY champion. You don’t ‘go out.’ You don’t ‘have fun. you have FUN once you’re DONE with your career.
Wells: When WILL you be done with your career. Because I’m not waiting twenty years to have fun.
Frost: I’m not waiting twenty years for you, either.

From the hatred and the love and the RESPECT that I have had for your father... I am going to show you what it take to become and STAY champion. I am going to start you on the path to the 4CW World title. YOU ARE THE FUTURE. If you fail to become 4CW World Champion by the time you are done in this company, I will have failed... and I... Translation: So, what do you want to do? ‘Go out’? or stay and GET BETTER?
Paladin looks at Courtney, and pauses. Frost looks at him and shrugs.
Paladin: Well, I guess I’m staying in tonight, babe.
Frost: I figured. When will you be ‘home.’
Kensai: Dāng wǒmen shuāngdǎ guànjūn.
Translation: When we are Tag Team Champions.
Paladin: That’s like WAY down the...
Kensai: DĀNG WǑMEN SHUĀNGDǍ GUÀNJŪN!!!!!
Frost rolls her eyes and starts to walk out.
Frost: See you in the hotel tonight.
The camera fades to another part of the 4CW arena.
Phoenix: This next match is to decide who the true champions are in 4CW's tag division. Lord Skywolf and Eddie Wolfbaine proved dominant as they captured the titles at the culmination of a lengthy tournament--or so we thought. Last Storm Front, the RockStarrs reappeared after an extended hiatus to lay claim to the belts they never technically lost.
Jeffrey: If you ask me, that beating they took should count. I'd be surprised if they even accepted the challenge tonight.
Phoenix: There's a reason they held those belts in the first place, Ray. They may have been caught off-guard by the team of Skywolf and Wolfbaine - just like the rest of the tag division - but they're still a threat inside that ring. The champions can't afford to take the...uh, champions, I suppose, lightly.
The cheering crowd quiets slightly as the arena lights dim and a familiar drumming overtakes the sound system. Light fog covers the stage as the drumming intensifies, segueing into a booming shout.
LET'S GET READY TO BREAK
As the scream overtakes the shout, "I'm So Sick" kicks in and an explosion of silver pyro lights up the first few rows, signaling the arrival of the champions.
Loveless: The following match is set for one fall, with no time limit, and is for the 4CW Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, at a combined weight of 460 pounds...they are the 4CW Tag Team Champions...Eddie Wolfbaine and Lord Skywolf!
The two men step through the curtain and onto the stage, titles each slung over a shoulder. They look out to the crowd, then to each other with a nod, and start making their way to the ring with a walk of determination. A couple of slapped hands to fans at ringside later and they're in the ring, handing their belts to the referee as they await their opponents.
Phoenix: Skywolf and Wolfbaine both looking serious as they come out here. If I were to guess, I'd say they aren't taking this match as lightly as you would.
Jeffrey: Well, that's because they're not as good as I am.
Phoenix: Oh, is that true?
Ray just hangs his head in response.
Jeffrey: ...No.
Loveless: And the challengers, at a combined weight of 500 pounds...Carlos "BA" Starr and T-Rock...The RockStarrs!
"Party Like A Rockstar" pumps through the speakers and the cheers turn to boos immediately. Strobe lights flicker throughout the arena as Candi first steps through the curtain, followed by both RockStarrs, each man wearing a title around his waist with "Rock" and "Starrs" spray-painted on their respective belts.
Jeffrey: Oh, my god. Are they actually wearing the replica belts Skywolfbaine left behind?
Phoenix: I wouldn't let them hear you use that name if I were you.
Jeffrey: Hey, it's better than the Wolfpack.
T-Rock and Starr strut to the ring with overconfidence oozing from them, mocking the fans and shouting insults at their opponents. Starr even pretends to go down-low with a high-fve for a little kid, then totally too-slows him at the last second. And shares a good laugh with T-Rock afterward to top it off. That's how big of dicks these guys are. They finally enter the ring after Wolfbaine and Skywolf back up to let them in, then go to hand their belts to the referee, who just looks at them and literally asks, "What the fuck am I supposed to do with those?" Shit you not. He ends up taking them in the end, but just kind of drops them outside of the ring instead of handing them off to the assistant at ringside. Whatever those people are called. Helper-Monkeys? You know the ones I'm talking about. They scurry around, trying not to be seen like a battered housewife. Wait, are they just battered housewives? Is that where they go?
Phoenix: And here we go! The bell sounds and we're about to find out who is the dominant team in 4CW today!
Match 6 - RockStarrs (w/ Candi) v Wolfpack
4CW Tag Team Championship
Wolfbaine makes a motion to start, but Skywolf puts a hand on his shoulder, telling him he'll take the first shift on this one. At the other end, the RockStarrs make the wise decision of starting with T-Rock.
Phoenix: Looks like the two big men will start this off, with Skywolf perhaps earning a little goodwill with his partner by volunteering to go first.
Jeffrey: He probably just wants all the credit if it ends up being a quick win.
Tony Rock points to Skywolf, telling him to come at him, possibly with a "bro" affixed to the end. Skywolf obliges and matches T-Rock's outstretched hands for a test of strength, both men straining against the other. Their arms extended to the fullest, they press their shoulders into each other, trying to brute-force the advantage. The fans begin to rally around Skywolf as he looks to gain the upper hand, when T-Rock suddenly pulls him into a side headlock, instantly squeezing and grinding the hold.
Jeffrey: Looks like ol' T-Rock's been working out in their time off.
Phoenix: His strength is incredible, Ray, and we're seeing proof of it right here.
Unable to pry his opponent's arms apart, Skywolf instead backs into the ropes, attempting to push T-Rock off with the added momentum, but he only succeeds in being driven to the mat with a bulldog as T-Rock now keeps the hold maintained on the mat. Eddie Wolfbaine calls out to his partner from the apron, yelling at him to get up, while Carlos Starr and Candi showboat to the crowd.
Phoenix: You'd think the match was already over from the way the RockStarrs camp is acting right now. That bell we heard a few moments ago was to start this thing, not end it.
Jeffrey: Nothing wrong with being cocky, as long as you can back it up.
Phoenix: Did you...did you just quote Kid Rock?
Jeffrey: Oh, gross. I think I did.
Slamming his fist on the mat, Skywolf starts pushing himself up off the mat as the fans clap along, until he has T-Rock on his feet and subsequently up in the air with a back suplex. Both men hit the mat hard, but T-Rock maintains a hold on the headlock, rolling back over onto his side.
Phoenix: What does it take to get T-Rock off?
Jeffrey: I'd say a half-
Phoenix: You know what I meant!
This time it's T-Rock who pulls Skywolf to his feet, dragging him to the RockStarrs' corner where Carlos Starr tags in. T-Rock keeps Skywolf in the headlock as Starr enters the ring, holding him in place as Starr delivers several quick kicks to the ribs, finally dropping Skywolf to his knees when T-Rock lets go. The referee forces T-Rock to exit the ring, while Starr quickly dashes against the ropes, rebounding off with a front dropkick to Skywolf's face, toppling him backwards to the mat. Starr is soon to his feet and tags T-Rock back in, who steps over the ropes and rains down clubbing blows on Skywolf as he tries to pull himself up in the adjacent corner.
Phoenix: This match has gone exactly the opposite of how any of us expected so far, and this has to be the best case scenario for the RockStarrs right now.
T-Rock drives a side knee into Skywolf's midsection, then walks him out from the corner and along the ropes, before whipping him across the ring. Skywolf rebounds off the far ropes, ducking a clothesline on the return and continuing on behind his opponent, charging into T-Rock with a shoulder block just as he turns around. It's Skywolf, however, who's dropped to the mat as he connects, but he's able to roll clear of an elbow drop that follows as soon as he lands. To his feet faster than T-Rock, Skywolf charges him and drives a shoulder into his gut, lifting him off the mat and slamming him hard against the turnbuckles. Unfortunately, they just so happen to be in the RockStarrs' corner, and Carlos Starr tags in after driving a forearm shot into Skywolf's face, sending him stumbling back across the ring. As Skywolf shakes off the attack, Starr rebounds off the ropes behind him and twists his body up and around Skywolf, but the Lord of the Ring catches him as he flips under his arm and drives Starr down across his knee with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. The fans come to their feet as Skywolf makes a move to tag in Wolfbaine, when he catches sight of T-Rock running towards him and squats down, lifting Rock over his back and the top rope in the process, dumping him to the outside as he then makes the tag.
Phoenix: And here comes the other half of the real Tag Team Champions, Eddie Wolfbaine!
Instantly backing Starr into the corner with lefts and rights, Wolfbaine starts brutally stomping him in the midsection, pushing him down to the bottom turnbuckle. Only relenting after the referee counts to four, Wolfbaine lets out a primal yell and walks to the middle of the ring, then runs back and dropkicks Starr in the head, eliciting further applause from the crowd. Eddie keeps on the attack, pulling Starr to the middle of the ring and whipping him to the ropes, but Carlos leapfrogs Wolfbaine as he ducks down for a back body drop and slides out of the ring just as T-Rock slides back in. Wolfbaine turns around right as T-Rock makes contact with a high-impact spear that takes the wind out of the crowd and slams him hard to the mat.
Phoenix: What a spear by T-Rock! The champions could be in trouble!
Jeffrey: I might need to rethink my picks for tonight. I knew I shouldn't have gone against my "Never Go With Wolfbaine" rule.
As Starr crawls back into the ring, Skywolf walks along the apron, cheering Wolfbaine on, which T-Rock apparently takes exception to and responds with a big boot to the side of Skywolf's head, knocking him into the guardrail on the way down.
Phoenix: That was uncalled-for! He didn't even see it coming!
Carlos Starr motions for T-Rock to move Wolfbaine, then steps out onto the apron and begins climbing the turnbuckles as his partner drags the limp body of Eddie Wolfbaine to the corner. The crowd continues to boo as Starr looks out to them and then flips them off, before launching into the air with a shooting star press across the chest of his opponent. Starr bounces into the air from the impact, but hooks the legs once he lands for the pin.
Phoenix: Gigantic impact! Can he kick out?
1...
2...
Kick out!
The fans burst into cheers as Wolfbaine gets a shoulder up at the last second, but the RockStarrs are insistent on keeping the crowd quiet, and both men start stomping away at their downed opponent. Starr once again motions for T-Rock to do his bidding, this time telling him to go to the far corner as he pulls Wolfbaine up to his feet, holding him in place. As T-Rock rushes from the far end of the ring, Wolfbaine suddenly pulls Starr in front of him as a second spear connects. Both Carlos Starr and Eddie Wolfbaine absorb the impact and fall to the mat, each man rolling under the ropes and out of the ring. T-Rock looks shocked, and tries to explain to Candi that it was an accident as she tends to Starr, yelling at T-Rock the entire time.
Jeffrey: Uh-oh. Looks like T-Rock's in the doghouse.
Phoenix: This is the first major mistake the RockStarrs have made as a team tonight, but it could just be enough...
With the referee distracted by the confusion and carnage, Skywolf rolls back into the ring with one of the title belts in his hands.
Phoenix: And now here comes Skywolf, and he looks like he's done playing around!
As T-Rock turns around, Skywolf lunges at him with the title, but T-Rock sees him coming at the last second and ducks the shot, driving a side knee into Skywolf's stomach in response. Skywolf doubles over and drops the title, while T-Rock places him in a standing head scissors, lifts and turns, then slams him right on the belt with a powerbomb.
Phoenix: Rockslide on the belt! We could have new champions!
Kicking the belt out of the ring, T-Rock holds Skywolf's shoulders down and hooks a leg as he yells to the referee, quickly grabbing his attention.
1!
2!
Phoenix: No, not like this!
Kick out!
Again, the fans explode into cheers as T-Rock looks utterly shocked, and Candi continues to berate him for not getting the win. But the look of disbelief soon fades as a smile crosses his face and he pulls Skywolf to his feet, placing him in another standing head scissors. Raising a fist into the air, T-Rock lifts Skywolf for a second Rockslide, but the Lord of the Ring blocks the attempt and lands on his feet, flipping T-Rock overhead with a back body drop in the middle of the ring. T-Rock lands hard and scrambles to his feet, but Skywolf stops him short with a side kick to the midsection. As T-Rock is doubled over, Skywolf turns and delivers a snap kick to the leg, then another kick to the ribs with the opposite foot, finishing off with a jumping enzuigiri.
Phoenix: Do you hear those kicks? He was trying to take off T-Rock's head with that last one.
Jeffrey: You ever notice "T-Rock's" sounds a lot like "T-Rex?"
Just as Skywolf gains control, Carlos Starr comes flying off the top rope with a dropkick to the back that sends him crashing to the canvas. Skywolf rolls along the mat, grabbing the ropes to try and help himself back up, but Starr keeps on him with boots to the head and body, keeping him on the ground. Before Starr can do too much damage, Eddie Wolfbaine spins him around and drives a boot into his midsection, then hooks the butterfly for the Superman DDT. Starr struggles to break free, but it's a double ax handle from T-Rock to the back of Wolfbaine's neck that stops the finisher attempt.
Phoenix: No matter where you turn, one of them is always right there to save the other.
Jeffrey: I hate to say it, but that's what makes a good team.
Phoenix: It's definitely part of it, and these RockStarrs are showing exactly why they held those belts. They're pushing the champions to their limit at every opportunity.
Wolfbaine turns around as he stumbles back against the ropes, fighting off his attacker with a right hand to the gut, but Starr takes over for T-Rock with a front kick to the midsection as both RockStarrs then whip him across the ring. Still aching from the attacks earlier, Skywolf grabs T-Rock from behind and spins him around, but T-Rock counters with a hand around his throat. His focus still on Wolfbaine, Starr shoots forward with a clothesline that Eddie ducks off the rebound, and the champion then connects with a diving chop block to the back of T-Rock's leg, causing him to fall to a knee as he lets go of Skywolf. Starr quickly turns around after missing the lariat, but a now-freed Skywolf cuts him off before he can make a move for Wolfbaine, leaping into Starr with a diving shoulder block that takes them both through the ropes and out of the ring.
Phoenix: Eddie Wolfbaine is the last man standing, and he has his sights set on T-Rock!
Turning to T-Rock as he tries to stand, Wolfbaine drives a boot into the back of his other knee, then runs into the ropes, charging back with a falling clothesline. Wolfbaine is right back to his feet, feeding off the energy of the crowd and the momentum growing in his favor. He lets out another yell, then drops a knee into T-Rock's forehead, making the cover soon after.

Kick out!
Wolfbaine is thrown right back up to his feet by T-Rock's kick out, but he doesn't let the strength left in his opponent get to him, and rushes the ropes again. As T-Rock nearly stands, Wolfbaine jumps into the air and swings around as he hooks in a front face lock, driving him right back down to the mat with a modified tornado DDT. But right as Wolfbaine lands, he looks up to see Starr perched on the top rope, ready to leap off, when Skywolf suddenly appears on the apron and pushes him off into the middle of the ring, throwing him past Wolfbaine and onto nothing but canvas.
Phoenix: Carlos Starr overshoots his mark thanks to an assist from Lord Skywolf, and I don't think I've ever seen Eddie Wolfbaine happier to see his tag team partner than he was right there!
Eddie starts to move toward Starr, but T-Rock is back to his feet almost immediately and pushes him back into the corner, following up with a clothesline as Skywolf ducks a superkick attempt from Carlos and locks in a double underhook as he turns around. He doesn't get a chance for the KTFO, however, as T-Rock frees his partner with a kick to Skywolf's gut, doubling him over for the Rockslide. Skywolf drops to a knee in the standing head scissors, giving Wolfbaine the opening he needs to run forward and use Skywolf's arched back as a stepping stone to planting his knee in T-Rock's face. The modified White Wizard causes T-Rock to fall back into the ropes, where his arms get hooked over the top and under the middle, effectively restraining him.
Phoenix: T-Rock may have just been neutralized in this match if he can't free himself!
Jeffrey: Starr's in there all alone right now, and those two have been waiting for this moment all night.
All at the same time, the three men realize the same thing: Carlos Starr is fucked. At first he turns to try and free his partner, but the big man is still groggy and unable to help, so Starr instead turns to pleading. He tries to reason with the two men, telling them it isn't a fair fight, and he didn't mean what he said. When that fails, as well as his quickly-aborted attempt at escaping from the ring immediately after, Starr resorts to going on the offensive. He rushes Skywolf, but the Lord of the Ring ducks down to avoid his clothesline, snaps him up into the air, then throws him down with a vicious spinebuster that causes Starr to bounce up off the mat and turn over in midair, landing flat on his face. The fans keep cheering as Wolfbaine reaches down and lifts Starr up by his hair as he tries to use Eddie's leg to stand. With Eddie looking out to the crowd, Starr takes advantage and goes for a last-ditch-effort superkick after pushing back, but Wolfbaine ducks it and it instead hits T-Rock, flipping him back over the top rope and to the outside, freeing his arms in the process.
Phoenix: "BA" tried for the Starrstruck, but Wolfbaine saw it coming and T-Rock paid the price. The champs are firmly in control of this match right now.
Starr is panicking as he realizes what he's done, and starts yelling at T-Rock to get up and get back in the ring. Finally, he turns around and steps right into the lift for a fireman's carry from Skywolf, who turns and spins him out by the legs as Wolfbaine catches him with a bulldog on the descent. Skywolf nods his head and steps out onto the apron as Wolfbaine rolls Starr over and covers him for the pin. The crowd stomps the ground, causing a low rumble to accompany their cheers as the referee drops down to count.

3-Kick out!
Phoenix: Somehow, Carlos Starr has kicked out and kept his team in the title hunt!
Jeffrey: No way! I thought he was done.
Keeping on his opponent, Wolfbaine pulls Starr to his feet and whips him into the ropes, but telegraphs his intentions a little too early as he ducks his head and receives a kick to the face for his troubles. Wolfbaine stands right up from the impact, and Starr immediately leaps up onto his shoulders for a hurricanrana, but Wolfbaine loses his balance and staggers back slightly to his corner, where Skywolf tags himself in and grabs Starr over the top rope with an iron claw, holding him in position as he scales the outside of the turnbuckles. With Wolfbaine still holding Starr on his shoulders as he tries to pull the hand off his head, Skywolf places Starr's near arm over his own, then jumps off the top rope with a modified uranage.
Phoenix: The Hand of God from the top rope!
Both men hit the mat hard, and Starr breaks free on impact, rolling under the bottom rope and onto the apron, while Skywolf slowly pulls himself to his feet. Having been unable to maintain the hold to apply the submission, Skywolf goes to pull Starr back into the ring, but when he reaches through the ropes T-Rock strikes him in the top of the head with one of the title belts. The referee doesn't see it happen, as Skywolf's body blocks his view, but the sound and subsequent image of Skywolf collapsing back in a heap make it obvious. T-Rock instantly drops the belt and kicks it under the ring, hiding the evidence just before the referee looks down at ringside to see what happened.
Jeffrey: I always wondered why no one ever just put the damn weapon under the ring.
Phoenix: Heat of the moment, Ray; you're not always thinking about that. Plus, some people think the ref needs to see you use the weapon to know you did it, so they just don't care about hiding it after the fact. Unfortunately, with some officials that's true.
Jeffrey: Man, if I was a ref I'd be so fair. I wouldn't call a thing.
As the referee questions T-Rock, Eddie Wolfbaine leaps over the top rope with a flying crossbody block, but he's caught in mid-air by the big man, much to the chagrin of the crowd. T-Rock ignores the referee's questioning, opting instead to ram Wolfbaine's spine into the nearby ring post, while Candi suddenly enters the ring and begins dragging her boyfriend over Skywolf's body.
Phoenix: Get her out of there! She has no business being in that ring.
Jeffrey: I agree wholeheartedly! She should be down here, with me!
T-Rock drops Wolfbaine to the ground, while the referee turns around just in time to see Candi about to exit the ring and begins questioning her instead. He points at Starr covering Skywolf and waves his arms, saying he's not going to count that, when T-Rock reenters the ring and gets in the ref's face, telling him to make the count. The referee threatens to disqualify them, pointing to the stripes on his shirt, but T-Rock obviously doesn't care and grabs the ref around the neck, again telling him to count the pin before throwing him to the mat.
Phoenix: You can't do that. You can't just make a referee administer a three-count.
Jeffrey: Apparently he can. That'd never fly if I was King of the Referees, though. We'd get tazers.
Looking angered for a moment, the ref then hesitantly turns to carefully check Skywolf's shoulders, but a foot placed firmly on the back of his knee convinces him to hurry up with the count.

3...
Almost at the exact moment the ref's hand hits the mat for a third time, Carlos Starr is dragged completely off Skywolf and right out of the ring by Eddie Wolfbaine. Immediately, the referee waves his arms, saying it wasn't a three, and Wolfbaine comes flying into the ring off the top rope before T-Rock can assault the official. Eddie crashes across T-Rock's chest with a front-flip senton, taking both men down to the mat as Candi panickedly escapes the ring.
Phoenix: You just cannot keep a good Wolfbaine down!
Jeffrey: Ugh...you sure you wanna go with that as a catchphrase?
On the outside, Candi tries to get a groggy Carlos Starr to stand up, screaming in his face. Eddie Wolfbaine, meanwhile, beats T-Rock to his feet and clubs the big man in the back with a forearm while he's on all fours. Starting to breathe a bit heavier, T-Rock weathers the storm, absorbing the blows from Wolfbaine as he staggers back into the corner and tries to push his attacker away.
Phoenix: T-Rock is finally showing signs of slowing down, but Eddie Wolfbaine just will not relent.
Now feeding off the energy of the crowd, Wolfbaine continues with his flurry of strikes, then climbs the turnbuckles in front of T-Rock, raining down punches into his skull. The fans count along with every one, but only reach four before T-Rock hurls his opponent back across the ring. Eddie rolls back to his feet on impact, ducking a running clothesline attempt once he does, then jumps up and lets his upper body fall back as he connects with a foot to T-Rock's head when he turns around.
Phoenix: Pelé kick!
T-Rock falls back into the corner again, holding his head, while Skywolf starts to slowly pull himself up along the far ropes, and Candi finally manages to get Starr coherent enough to search under the ring. Eddie Wolfbaine is once again the last man standing on his own in the ring, and the fans cheer him on as he holds out his arms and unleashes another primal yell.
Phoenix: You hear it a lot, but the electricity in this building is unbelievable! These fans feel it, and so does Eddie Wolfbaine!
Nodding his head, Wolfbaine turns around and eats another spear from T-Rock, with both men collapsing to the mat.
Jeffrey: Looks like he found out a way to keep a good Wolfbaine down after all.
Phoenix: Somehow, T-Rock just keeps getting back up and fighting back. What does it take to make him stay down?
Breathing hard, T-Rock slowly pushes up from the mat, wiping sweat from his eyes as Wolfbaine rolls onto his side, clutching his midsection. On the outside, Starr finally finds what he was looking for and slides a table out from under the ring, setting it up on its end against the guardrail, letting the legs from the other end overhang. Climbing onto the apron, Starr shouts at T-Rock, motioning for him to put Wolfbaine through the table.
Phoenix: Carlos Starr has retrieved a table from under the ring, but the referee isn't about to let them get away with using it!
Interjecting again, the ref tells T-Rock he'll disqualify him if he uses the table, but receives a kick to the gut for his troubles, before being placed in a standing head scissors.
Jeffrey: This wouldn't happen if we had tazers.
Phoenix: You're not a ref!
With Starr on the apron egging him on, T-Rock goes to lift the referee into prime powerbomb position, but Wolfbaine manages to drag himself to his feet and pull the ref clear of T-Rock's grasp. The referee collapses back against the bottom turnbuckle with a look of pure fear on his face, cowering as Wolfbaine attacks with forearm shots that stagger the big man. T-Rock sways but doesn't go down, prompting Eddie to turn and strike Starr with a high kick to the side of the head, nearly knocking him off the apron as he hangs by a foot and single hand grasping the top rope. Wolfbaine immediately refocuses on T-Rock, striking with a spinning back fist out of the momentum from the kick, and following up with a flying double knee strike to the chest. As T-Rock falls back against the ropes, Eddie goes for an Irish whip, but it's reversed and Starr's nearly knocked off the apron again as Wolfbaine rebounds off the ropes right next to him, ducking a clothesline from T-Rock in the process. T-Rock stops short of hitting his partner, holding his hands up as he turns around to see Wolfbaine coming right at him and narrowly sidesteps his attack. Carlos Starr, on the other hand, doesn't.
Phoenix: Eddie Wolfbaine has just speared Carlos Starr through that table! Oh, my god!
Having dove through the middle and top rope, Wolfbaine connected flush with Starr's midsection, the high-impact spear taking the wind out of him as both men crashed through the table haphazardly set up at ringside. Now, Wolfbaine rolls clear of the wreckage, looking to be in obvious pain as he crawls to the ring, clawing at the apron skirt. Candi attends to Starr, who appears to be out cold amid the pieces of broken table as EMTs rush to ringside to check on him. Inside the ring, T-Rock looks over the mess outside with shock and anger on his face, only to be pushed forward into the ropes by Skywolf. T-Rock quickly turns around, eyeing up Skywolf, who motions for him to come fight as both men breathe heavily, their bodies aching as they move towards each other.
Jeffrey: You wanted to know what it took to keep T-Rock down? So does Skywolf!
Phoenix: Since when did you start bandwagoning these two, anyway?
Jeffrey: Since the RockStarrs showed up badmouthing 4CW. I might not be the biggest fan of whatever the wolves want to call themselves, but I know where my bread is buttered. Speaking of which, that's a disgusting game. If anyone ever asks you to play it, don't. It's a trap. That's a life lesson for the kids watching at home.
T-Rock strikes back with a hard right hand that staggers Skywolf back a couple steps, but he retaliates almost instantly afterward with one of his own. That's followed by a left hand from T-Rock, then a forearm from Skywolf, each attack rocking both men as they stumble from each blow but refuse to fall. Skywolf presses the attack, striking again with a forearm shot, but T-Rock goes blow-for-blow with a striking elbow. A European uppercut then sees T-Rock fall back against the ropes and spring forward off the rebound with a kick to the gut. Skywolf fights back with a fist to the gut, but T-Rock drops him to a knee with a double ax handle, then another. Finally placing Skywolf in a standing head scissors, T-Rock readies to lift when Eddie Wolfbaine springboards off the top rope and dives through the air, one of the title belts placed across his outstretched arm as he connects with a flying lariat.
Phoenix: Wolfbaine just clocked T-Rock with that belt, and the big man looks like he's finally down for good!
Jeffrey: Yeah, except he did it right in front of the ref. Great work. Really.
Still holding the belt, Wolfbaine tries to reason with the referee, who finally makes his way out of his hiding spot in the corner to angrily pull the title away from him. Walking around the ring, the ref looks at the belt, then down at T-Rock, trying to make a decision as he surveys the carnage surrounding the ring.
Phoenix: After all this, he can't ring the bell now! That's what he has to be thinking!
Jeffrey: A referee must do his job, no matter what, Scott. Rule 1 of my official Referee Handbook.
Finally, he throws the belt to the outside, holding his arms out and shaking his head in disbelief, prompting a huge round of cheers from the crowd.
Jeffrey: No! My handbook!
Phoenix: The referee has made the right decision in letting this match go, in my opinion. Too much has already transpired to turn back now, and we need a decisive winner here tonight.
A sigh of relief escapes from the camp of Eddie Wolfbaine and Lord Skywolf, who now turn their attention back to T-Rock. Seemingly close to unconscious, T-Rock is hoisted to his feet through the combined efforts of both men, with Skywolf then lifting him onto his shoulders in an Argentine backbreaker rack. As the fans continue to cheer, Eddie rebounds off the near ropes, connecting with a high Hammerspace Lariat as Skywolf drives him to the mat with a Sky Driver.
Phoenix: Hammerspace Driver...Sky Hammer...whatever they call that, it's effective!
Skywolf instantly puts T-Rock's shoulders to the mat and makes the cover, while Wolfbaine makes sure neither Candi or Carlos Starr try to enter the ring.

Phoenix: Is this it?
3!!!
- Wolfpack win to retain the tag team championship.
Phoenix: It is! The champions retain!
Jeffrey: Or we have new champions, if you share the mindset of the RockStarrs. Which you wouldn't, because you haven't suffered any major brain damage.
Loveless: Here are your winners, and STILL 4CW Tag Team Champions...Lord Skywolf and Eddie Wolfbaine!
As the referee is handed the real titles from the ringside assistant/possible battered woman, Skywolf calls for a microphone, cutting off "A Warrior's Call" before it can even get started.
Skywolf: After tonight...
He pauses for a moment, looking out to the cheering crowd as he slowly walks to the ropes.
Skywolf: After this hellish war...
Skywolf looks over the ropes to ringside, watching Carlos Starr being loaded onto a stretcher, neck brace and all.
Skywolf: I think it's obvious what we are.
He now turns to Eddie Wolfbaine, who has an apprehensive look of confusion on his face.
Skywolf: You and me...we beat what used to be the best 4CW had to offer.
Skywolf takes another step forward, narrowing the distance.
Skywolf: We took the top team, and we took the very best they had, and we evolved and adapted to become better than even that.
And another step.
Skywolf: Just like we did when we beat every other team to get to this spot. Because we're not the apex hunters...we're not the best.
Finally, he stops, almost chest-to-chest with Wolfbaine.
Skywolf: We're better.
Now, Skywolf turns back out to face the fans, walking towards the ropes again.
Skywolf: We are what hunts the thing at the top of the food chain. We are...
Skywolf turns back around to face Wolfbaine again, a look of pure intensity on his face.
Skywolf: The Unnatural Predators!
This time, "A Warrior's Call" overtakes the sound system as Skywolf drops the microphone, stepping forward to accept his title and raise it into the air. Wolfbaine takes a moment, but starts to nod his head as he's handed the title, lifting it into the air as the two men slap hands.
Phoenix: It looks like we finally have an official name for this team!
Jeffrey: I still like Skywolfbaine better.
While the fans continue to cheer them on, Skywolf and Wolfbaine take to opposite corners, climbing the turnbuckles and lifting their titles high into the air. As T-Rock lies at ringside with Candi still berating him, Carlos Starr is unceremoniously wheeled up the ramp amid pieces of trash thrown at him from the crowd.
Phoenix: Folks, we still have a lot coming up in our main event, but these four men have just been to war with each other, and the Unnatural Predators have shown that they are indeed the best 4CW - and maybe the world - has to offer. The road to Revival should be very interesting from here on out.
Reuniting in the middle of the ring, the two men slap hands again, with Skywolf offering a few words of encouragement, before they move to adjacent corners and raise their belts once more.
Phoenix: Well folks, it's nearly time for our main event. But before we go to that, I have the honour of officially inviting all of you to 4CW's next pay per view event, the biggest we've ever held.
Jeffrey: That's right! 4CW Revival is back, and bigger than ever!
Phoenix: In 2014 we will celebrate 4CW's tenth birthday, and it's time to find out who will be heading into this historic event as 4CW champion.
Loveless: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a STEEL CAGE MATCH for the 4CW Heavyweight Championship! The only way to win is to escape the cage either by climbing over or through the cage door!
"Narcissistic Cannibal" by Korn hits the PA system. A mixed reaction from the crowd and out comes the 4CW Heavyweight Champion Rhysus. He makes his way down the ramp, with the title on his shoulder, the darker, more serious side of him more prominent than it has been in recent months.
Loveless: Introducing first, from Swansea, Wales, weighing in at 230lbs, he is the 4CW Heavyweight Champion, "The Bruiser" RHYYYYYSSUUUUUUS!!!
Phoenix: Well here comes the champion for his title defense but as for the challenger, we're not 100% sure who that is.
Jeffrey: What are you, an idiot? Belly told us he's facing the Leader of the Cowboys From Hell, Steven Penance!
Phoenix: Well he didn't actually confirm it would be Penance, and as far as we know, Penance is not signed to 4CW!
Jeffrey: He said the leader of the Cowboys From Hell! Last time I checked that is Steven Penance.
Rhysus rolls into the ring, taking his title over to the ringside staff. He then grabs a mic at the same time.
Rhysus: So here we are... Penance, if you really are here, get out here.
Silence for a few moments, and then coming from behind the curtain is none other than Steven Penance! The Cowboys From Hell Leader makes his way to the top of the ramp with a mic in hand.
Jeffrey: This is great! Penance is here to challenge Rhysus!
Phoenix: Well, I guess the speculation is over! Penance is here to challenge Rhysus!
Penance doesn't come any further down the ramp and when the crowd quieten down he spoke.
Penance: Rhysus, don't think we've ever had the pleasure. My name is Steven Penance and I am the leader of the Cowboys From Hell... or at least, that's what you all think.
Phoenix: What does he mean by that?
Penance: I have a little confession to make, champ. Technically, I'm not the Leader of the Cowboys... this guy is.
"By Myself" by Linkin Park hits the PA system. The lights temporarily go out and through a midst of smoke comes none other than Belly!!
Phoenix: You have got to be kidding me!
Jeffrey: YES! This is great! Who better to challenge the champ than Belly himself?!
Belly comes out dressed to compete with a big smirk on his face. Rhysus wasn't expecting this and looks taken aback but shakes it off as the big man makes his way down to the ring.
Loveless: And his opponent, from the United Kingdom, weighing in at 373lbs, the chairman of 4CW, CHRIS "BELLY" MAAAAARRRKSSS!!!
Phoenix: Rhysus must be unprepared! How the hell DO you prepare for a 373lb behemoth in a steel cage that you didn't know about until the match took place! What an unfair decision!
Jeffrey: Stop whining. Rhysus is the champ. If he can't handle it, he may as well just hand over that title to the big guy.
Phoenix: I'm not saying he can't handle it! And I'm rooting for the champ in this one!
Belly enters the ring after walking up the ring steps, still smirking, as Rhysus stares at him, not showing any sign of weakness. Then the cage starts to lower over the competitors. The cage gets lower and lower, until it sets in place, trapping the Bruiser with the Belly for this 4CW Heavyweight Championship match! The bell rings!
Match 7 - Rhysus v Chris "Belly" Marks
4CW Championship
Belly signals for Rhysus to "bring it" with his hands and the smaller man launches at Belly, and they clash into a test of strength, one that is always going to be won by the challenger, who throws Rhysus across the ring. Rhysus gets straight back to his feet and clashes again with Belly, but the same thing happens. The third time of asking, Rhysus seems to be going for another test of strength, but instead kicks Belly in the gut and takes him out with an early DDT!
Rhysus stays on the offense, bringing the big man to his feet and attempting to send him to the corner, but Belly reverses and sends Rhysus into the corner, before chasing after him and crushing him with a big splash.
Phoenix: Well there's no doubt that Belly's strength and power has given him the early advantage here against The Bruiser!
Rhysus comes out of the corner groggily and this time it's Belly who sends him swinging with an Irish Whip to the ropes. Rhysus ducks Belly's attempt at a Clothesline on his return and goes behind, coming back off the opposing ropes and smashing Belly in the back of the head with a forearm. The damage is minimal, and Rhysus continues piling the offense, with a few lefts and rights before Belly grabs him and headbutts him, sending Rhysus to the floor again.
Rhysus makes his way back to his feet, refusing to be floored by the big man, and runs back at Belly for another attack, but Belly is ready and takes him out with a Sidewalk Slam.
Phoenix: Rhysus is trying to match Belly with strength and that just isn't going to happen! He needs to change tactics!
Jeffrey: Regardless of his tactics, his title reign ends tonight.. Belly is here to become champ and I can't see Rhysus stopping him!
Belly looks happy with his domination of the match so far and looks around for something before finally deciding on the entrance ramp, moving his hand up and signalling something to someone. Moments later, Penance himself runs back out with a steel chair in hand!
Phoenix: What the hell is Penance doing with that steel chair?
Penance reaches the ring and throws the steel chair over the cage wall and into the ring!
Jeffrey: He's making this match a lot more interesting!
Belly picks up the steel chair. He lines up Rhysus, who is still on the floor and swings the chair at him - but Rhysus rolls out of the way just in the nick of time. He gets to his feet and Belly stalks with the steel chair. Belly swings while Rhysus is by the ropes, but Rhysus again moves out of the way and the steel chair hits the cage wall and bounces back in Belly's face!
Rhysus decides to take advantage of the situation and hits a dropkick into the chair, sending it directly into Belly's face again, who falls to the floor this time. Rhysus rips the steel chair out of his hands, much to the delight of the crowd and holds it in the air teasing the fans.
They go nuts with approval when he swings the chair across Belly's back, dealing some critical damage. Rhysus swings again on Belly's back but the big man fights his way to his feet regardless!
Rhysus goes for a third swing but Belly grabs the chair with both hands and takes it back! Rhysus runs towards the ropes and Belly follows, Rhysus ducks under Belly's chair swing, grabs him from behind - and launches Belly in the air with a HUGE German Suplex!!!
Phoenix: What incredible strength from Rhysus, hitting a German Suplex on the nearly 400lb Belly!
Both men take a little while to catch their breaths and recover and Rhysus being the smaller and agile man is the first to his feet. Belly is a little behind and Rhysus takes advantage by grabbing the big man and Irish Whipping him directly into the cage wall! Belly bounces off the cage wall, and stumbles backwards but stands his ground. Rhysus meanwhile has ran to the turnbuckle and as Belly tries to recover from hitting a wall of steel, he gets met with a Missile Dropkick from the 4CW Heavyweight Champion, knocking him back on his ass!
Phoenix: Rhysus is finally using his speed and aerial ability to his advantage! It's the only way he can get an advantage over Belly.
Rhysus gets back to his feet and back on the turnbuckle, going for what looks like a double axe handle as Belly gets to his feet - but Belly reverses with a Big Boot which takes Rhysus out in a second!
Jeffrey: What a Big Boot! That's why you are looking at the next 4CW Heavyweight Champion!!
Belly picks up The Bruiser, who now looks worse for wear after a brutal kick to the face, and throws him into the corner. Belly uses his shoulder to charge into Rhysus' gut again and again and eventually takes him out with a Belly to Belly!
Belly then gets back to his feet, looking at the champ lying ideally in the middle of the ring, and he comes from the ropes running forward and hitting Rhysus with a 373lb Gut Check Splash!!
Phoenix: Rhysus just got a full dose of that brutal Gut Check! I think the champ is in trouble!
Belly gets up but isn't finished dealing the damage as Rhysus is stirring. He comes back from the ropes and hits the Disaster Senton!!
Jeffrey: And the Disaster Senton! Rhysus is done!!
Rhysus looks down and out, defeated and at the very least, winded, as the big man piled all of his weight on the champ twice in an incredibly short amount of time. Belly gets up and makes his way over to the cage door - but stops when he hears a big cheer from the crowd - and when he turns around - Rhysus is on his hands and knees, still finding the strength to get to his feet!
Phoenix: The champ isn't done yet! He's still got fight left in him!
Belly, who doesn't seem like the type of person to finish the match before the opponent is properly dealt with, growls and turns back around to face the champ. He helps him to his feet, and then lifts him in his arms for some kind of slam - but Rhysus wriggles out of his grasp and takes out Belly with a Side Effect!!
Rhysus gets back to his feet, using the ropes for leverage and the crowd's reaction to urge him on. He lifts his arms in the air to try and get the crowd to give him a bigger reaction and when Belly gets back to his feet, Rhysus lunges forward and takes him out with a Superkick that echoes around the arena!!
Phoenix: Rhysus with the Superkick and now apparently with the advantage! Climb the cage Rhysus!
Rhysus seems to want to do exactly that but he notices Belly stirring, just like Belly did with him earlier, and realises he's going to have to do more to put him away. That's when Rhysus notices the steel chair again and picks it up!
The crowd are going crazy with excitement as he swings the chair, smashing Belly in the back again! But once again, the big man fights the pain and fights his way to his feet! Rhysus takes another swing, this time point-blank range, to the face of Belly and smashes him directly in the skull, ending him crashing to the floor and busting him open!!
Phoenix: Belly has been busted open!
Jeffrey: This is an outrage! That chair isn't part of the cage!
Phoenix: You seemed to have no problem with it when Belly brought it into the cage!
Jeffrey: He didn't! Penance did!
Phoenix: Yeah, at Belly's request!
Jeffrey: Shut up, Phoenix, before I throw you in there.
Rhysus has busted Belly open, and the champ looks well on his way to victory, he looks around, loving the reaction from the crowd, his reputation apparently not quite in tatters yet and a lot of love from the crowd still apparent - and then Marie Dubois comes out from the curtain much to the displeasure of the crowd and Rhysus himself.
Rhysus stares a hole through Marie as she walks down the ramp, around the ring and into the commentary booth. She sits down and puts her headset on.
Phoenix: Um... apparently, we're being joined by Marie Dubois! Welcome, Marie.
Dubois: Thank you, Scott. I wish I was here for better reasons but unfortunately as you can see Rhysus is again losing his cool in his match - and I am out here to expose him for the monster he is. He just busted open the owner of this company with a steel chair.
Phoenix: A steel chair that Belly himself had brought to the ring!
Dubois: A steel chair that Belly may have brought and even tried to use, but also a weapon that Rhysus DID use, repeatedly, to bust open his boss!
Rhysus reaches the side of the cage closest to Dubois and is shouting random obscenities to her, telling her to get the hell out of here. His exact words can't properly be heard but he is definitely angry.
Phoenix: I think Rhysus wants you to leave, Marie.
Dubois: I believe he does. Unfortunately, Scott, I don't answer to him. And tonight, he will be shown up as the monster he is.
Phoenix: Is that why you are out here? To incite hate on the champ?
Dubois: Oh please, I don't have to do anything. He's doing it all himself. Look at what he's done tonight, and I've only just come out here. He has no excuse for his actions.
Marie Dubois stares at Rhysus, and refuses to leave, which only infuriates him more. He turns his attention back to the match and sees Belly on his knees, the blood trickling down his face - and HE SMASHES BELLY POINT-BLANK WITH THE STEEL CHAIR AGAIN!
Phoenix: Good god, what a brutal shot!
The blood continues to pour but Belly stays on his knees - and takes a THIRD shot directly to the face!
Phoenix: Come on Rhysus, enough is enough, you've made your point!
Dubois: This is exactly what I'm talking about.
Jeffrey: Come on Belly, you big bastard!
Despite taking three shots point-blank to the face, Belly is still on his knees - and then incredibly - STARTS TO MAKE HIS WAY TO HIS FEET!!
Rhysus takes an extra big swing and smashes the chair into Belly's face for a fourth time, this time knocking the big man on his back and seemingly out cold.
Phoenix: Sickening crushing blow to Belly! Rhysus has this match won! All he has to do is escape the cage!
But Rhysus doesn't - he seems to have snapped again - and instead decides to jump on Belly and pile the punches, one after another, with no intention of going to climb out of the cage...
The lights go out!
Phoenix: What's going on now?!
Dubois: The time has come!
"The Lords of Salem" by Rob Zombie hits the PA system! The crowd are going nuts, looking around in the darkness for any sign of a vampire.
Dubois: Our saviour is here!!!
A spotlight above the ring, and down comes, from the rafters, directly into the cage, none other - THAN CARSTEIN!
Phoenix: What the hell? Carstein is here!! He's in the ring right now!
The lights come back on, Carstein unhooks himself, and picks up the steel chair that Rhysus dropped. Carstein, chair in hand, charges at Rhysus, who rolls out of the way to avoid a blow, Carstein chases after him with the steel chair, swinging again. On the outside, Steven Penance is trying to climb over the cage. Rhysus ducks a third swing from Carstein and just like Belly did earlier in the night, he hits the cage wall. Amid all the chaos, Virus, Descent and Villani rush out to ringside in an effort to help out their former leader.
The cage wall shakes and Penance falls off, crashing to the floor below. Carstein turns around to find Rhysus again, but the champion is ready and takes out Carstein with a Chokeslam!!
Rhysus looks around, having come to his senses, and realises that he needs to win this match. He goes over to the cage wall and climbs as quickly as he can! He reaches the top, and looks down to the outside. Steven Penance is waiting with a steel chair in hand - SO RHYSUS DIVES OFF THE CAGE AND TAKES OUT ALL FOUR COWBOYS WITH A CROSSBODY, WINNING THE MATCH AND RETAINING THE 4CW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP!
- Rhysus wins to retain 4CW championship.
Loveless: Here is your winner and STILL the 4CW Heavyweight Champion, the Bruiser, RHYYYYYYSSUUUUUUSSS!!!
Rhysus uses the barricade to help himself to his feet as the bell rings and his music plays. A member of staff hands him his title belt, which he takes gratefully, and then closes his eyes, exhausted, and barely able to celebrate.
The cage starts to rise, and the chaos from within is scattered around the ring. A steel chair by the cage wall, Belly bloody and out cold - and Carstein coming to, moving slowly and making his way to his feet.
Rhysus sees this and CHARGES into the ring, dropping his title and launching himself at Carstein. The two of them trade blows, back and forth, the feud that's been brewing for months finally boiling over and the crowd can't get enough of it. Security and staff flood the ring, splitting the two guys up, and while it may not usually be enough, with both men less than 100%, they are able to keep them apart.
Phoenix: So much has happened I don't even know where to start! Rhysus completely lost it, and hit Belly with four point-blank range chair shots to the face, Carstein came down from the rafters - I guess to save Belly - and Rhysus retained the 4CW Heavyweight Championship!
Dubois: Rhysus may have retained that title but he lost his reputation tonight! The saviour has arrived! Rhysus is on borrowed time, mark my words!
Phoenix: And with that, ladies and gentlemen, we're out of time - Carstein and Rhysus are being restrained from eachother but one thing is certain - their issues are far from over! Goodnight!!
The show ends with the staff and security trying to restrain and calm both men down as the 4CW logo pops up and the screen fades to black.
