We go to a cold open, where the footage is shown labelled "Earlier Today". None other than CARSTEIN steps up to Sery's office, knocks (with some papers in hand), and opens the door without waiting for a response. He storms over to Sery's desk. Sery stands up and shakes his hand.

Sery: Carstein. How can I help you?
Carstein: You told me I could get Inferno as soon as the doctors cleared me. Well -

Carstein slams the papers on the desk. They are clearly signed letters from multiple doctors.

Carstein: I'm cleared. I want Inferno. Tonight.

Sery sighs.

Sery: Look, I want to give you, Inferno, I do -
Carstein: You gave me your word...
Sery: I know I did! But you've come to me literally an hour before the show. The card is booked. I can't give you a one on one match with Inferno tonight, because he's in the Rumble in the Storm match.
Carstein: Does your word mean -
Sery: However, I want to help you... so how about this, for tonight, I will enter YOU into the Rumble in the Storm match and if you're lucky, you'll be in the ring at the same time as Inferno. And then, after tonight, I will give you the one on one match you're after.

Carstein clearly isn't happy, and glares at Sery... but he finally nods.

Carstein: Fine, that will do... for now.

Carstein leaves the office with haste as we roll into the opening graphics for the show.

The camera pans around the 4CW Fight Island arena, packed to capacity with around one hundred fans, as the theme song for the show "Dear Diary" by Bring Me The Horizon blares through the night.

Phoenix: Ladies, gentlemen and people from all around the world, WELCOME to 4CW Storm Front: RUMBLE IN THE STORM III!! There are huge stakes tonight, and here to talk with me about it are my esteemed broadcast partners, Ray Jeffrey and James Roberts!
Jeffrey: I can't wait to get things underway tonight! But let's have a look at what we got! First of all, a fatal-4-way Chairs match for the 4CW Custom Cup Championship! Phil McGroin will have to defend that title against all of Dirk Meyer, Senecca and rookie Xavier Avana!
Roberts: And 4CW Universal Champion Pilgrim Paige will also have her hands full tonight as she defends the title in an open challenge. Who will accept her challenge? And will they be able to take The Golden Pilgrim's championship away from her?
Phoenix: And in our main event tonight, it's Rhys Cain vs Sery! It's a Cage Fight, inside an MMA-style cage, with no escape and no interference! The stakes are simple! If Cain wins, he becomes GM of 4CW. If Sery wins, Cain is FIRED!
Jeffrey: Man, it's going to be a hell of a show... but we haven't even talked about the titular match!
Phoenix: You're right, Ray! 30 competitors battle it out in an over the top rope battle royal, Rumble style, in our Rumble in the Storm match! The winner will receive a future 4CW World Championship match! It was actually in LAST YEAR's Rumble in the Storm that Jack Valentine won the 4CW World Championship and he's still champion, one year later! This match can make or revive careers! And THIS MATCH - IS COMING UP RIGHT NOW!!

Carson: The following contest is the RUMBLE IN THE STOOOORM match and the rules are as follows! Two competitors will begin. Every 60 seconds, another competitor will enter the match! The match continues until all thirty competitors have entered and the winner of the match is the last person standing. The only way to eliminate an opponent is to throw them over the top rope, so that both of their feet touch the floor outside of the ring! The winner of this match will receive a future 4CW World Championship match!

"Phoenix (Volkor X remix)" by Scandroid hits the PA system. Madeline Phoenix steps out onto the stage to a deafening roar from the crowd. The spotlights encircle her, then give way to just one, which centres itself over Phoenix herself. With her black-and-red spandex attire, wild hair and trailing streaks of eyeshadow, Madeline Phoenix looks ready for battle. Across her shoulders and extending down her arms to the wrists is a pair of scarlet "wings", made of well-tailored fabrics and an intricate feather formation. Lit from above, The Mad Phoenix throws her head back and spreads her wings wide—an action that is met with blasts of colourful pyro going off on either side of of the 4CWTron! The aftermath of these pyro blasts has two columns of red-hot flames licking at the steel frame of the Tron structure. Madeline takes a moment to drink in the crowd response.

Carson: Introducing the competitor who drew #1, FROM THE ASHES OF THE PAST... weighing in at 128 lbs... MADELINE... THE MAAAD... PHOEEENIIIX!!!

The Tron returns to normal as Madeline Phoenix runs down to the bottom of the ramp. She slides into the ring and in one smooth motion, she spins round on hands and knees before rising up from the canvas and spreading her wings once more, an action that is mimicked by many of her fans.

Phoenix: Madeline Phoenix entering this match with a monumental task... to win at #1. It's never been done in 4CW but if anyone can do it, I'm proud to say it's my Maddie!
Jeffrey: Yeah, yeah - enough of your bias, Scott! The real question is - who is #2? I'm so buzzed!!

"Sad but True" by Metallica hits the PA system. The atmosphere changes instantly from excitement to concern as the familiar tunes of 4CW's newest most hated villain steps out on stage. Inferno stares down Phoenix in the ring.

Roberts: Oh, no...
Phoenix: If that wasn't my daughter in the ring, I'd be making some comment on the poetry of infernos and phoenixes...
Jeffrey: Phoenix, or anyone for that matter, will have a hard time dealing with Inferno right off the bat!

Carson: And introducing the competitor who drew #2, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 255lbs, 4CW Hall of Famer... IIIIIINFERNOOO!!

Inferno soldiers down the ramp and into the ring. He looks both stoic and hectic at the same time. Like he could snap at any given moment. When Inferno finally gets into the ring, he looks at Madeline Phoenix, who matches his glare with no fear. Referee Vivian Ford stands in the middle of the ring and calls for the bell.

Entrant #1: Madeline Phoenix
Entrant #2: Inferno

A 60 second timer appear on the bottom third. Phoenix and Inferno circle each other, until they really can't delay their clash any longer and lock horns in the middle of the ring.

Quite expectedly, Inferno wins the power battle and pushes Phoenix away and sends her across the ring. Phoenix gets back to her feet fairly quickly and charges at Inferno but eats a big boot. Inferno picks up his opponent and whips her into the corner. He then charges after her with a corner clothesline. Inferno attempts to pull Phoenix up over the rope but she fights back with closed fists and then, after gaining some space, takes down Inferno with a dropkick! Phoenix takes the time to take a breather as the buzzer counts down ... 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Cowboys From Hell" by Pantera hits the PA system. The crowd boo, knowing it'll be one of the Crow brothers, and boo louder as it is confirmed to be Jason Crow who comes out through the curtain.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Philidelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 260lbs... JASON ... CROOOW!!

Phoenix: Jason Crow has joined the fray!

Crow runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. Inferno is back on his feet and Jason piles on the punches, cornering Inferno in front of the turnbuckle. Inferno retaliates with a mean elbow, which sends Jason stumbling backwards, where he eats a dropkick from Phoenix. Inferno then grabs Jason Crow and unceremoniously dumps him over the top rope and out of the ring!!

Carson: Jason Crow has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Jason Crow has left the fray!
Jeffrey: Fantastic coverage, Scott!

Inferno and Phoenix go back to exchanging blows, and Inferno manages to hit Phoenix with a body slam when the fans start to count again. 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Between II Worlds" by NERO hits the PA system. The crowd pop as Quentin Cosmo steps out on stage, looking hungry and determined.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from The Wider Universe... weighing in at 217lbs... QUENTIN ... COOOSMO!!

Cosmo runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. Inferno is ready with a big boot that Cosmo ducks. Cosmo runs to the ropes and comes back with a standing crossbody which knocks Infeno down! Cosmo gets back up and hits a standing shooting star press on Inferno!

Phoenix: Cosmo hits the Light-years to midnight! He's come in hot!

Phoenix joins the fray and Cosmo takes her down with a T-Bone suplex! Cosmo jumps to his feet and unleashes all his pent up adrenaline by shaking the ropes! As Cosmo attempts to pick up Phoenix and inch her towards the ropes, Inferno recovers and grabs him from behind, taking out Cosmo with a back suplex! ..6...5...4...3...2...1....BUZZ!!

"Aces High" by Iron Maiden hits the PA system. A monumental pop from the small crowd when one half of the tag team champions steps through the curtain!

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Barry, South Wales, weighing in at 195lbs... he is one half of the 4CW Tag Team Champions... "TOP GUUUUN" ... TOMMY ... YOUNG!!

Young wastes no time in running down to the ring and sliding in. He takes down Inferno with a step-up Enziguri! Young jumps back up and meets Cosmo with hurricanrana and then follows it up with a dropkick to Madeline Phoenix!

Jeffrey: Top Gun taking out everyone in the ring!

Young finds Cosmo getting to his feet first and the two lock up. Cosmo tries to suplex Young, but he blocks it and reverses with a suplex of his own. As Young gets back up to his feet, he notices Inferno is on his knees and gets right into action, hitting some shoot kicks to the chest of Inferno!

Phoenix: There's the Gatling Gun! Young has burst into this match with all his best offence on display!

As Young whips a recovering Phoenix into the corner, the fans start to countdown. 10...9...8... Young runs at Phoenix, who reverses the momentum by lifting up her boot and hitting Young in the face, before taking him out with a bulldog! ...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Taking You Down" by Egypt Central hits the PA system. One half of Umbra Maxima bursts out from behind the curtain looking ready to go!

Carson: On his way to the ring, from New York, New York, weighing in at 205lbs, MAXIMILLIAN ... YESGIIIILL!!

Yesgill marches down the ramp towards the ring.

Phoenix: And here comes Maximillian Yesgill! One half of Umbra Maxima and someone who will want to prove himself as a legitimate singles competitor as well as tag team competitor here tonight!
Roberts: Yeah, but that ring is starting to fill up! It's only a matter of time before more of them get thrown over the top rope!

Yesgill slides into the ring. The first competitors he comes into contact with are Phoenix and Young, when he takes them both out with a standing crossbody! Cosmo takes a step towards Yesgill, but Yesgill is ready to strike with a slingblade! Yesgill then jumps up and heads to the turnbuckle, climbing up to the top in one swift motion! He sees Inferno standing in the middle of the ring and dives backwards into a moonsault! But Inferno catches Yesgill! Inferno reverses the momentum into a pumphandle slam! Yesgill groans as he rolls around the mat in agony.

Jeffrey: What goes up, must come down!
Phoenix: And I don't think Inferno is in a mood to mess around anymore!

Inside the ring, Inferno grabs Yesgill and lifts him up, slamming him back to the mat with a standing powerbomb! He then grabs Yesgill and launches him over the top rope, where he hits the ringside area with a thud!

Carson: Maximillian Yesgill has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Well, you can't criticise Yesgill's performance! He was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and Inferno had been kicked around one too many times!
Roberts: Regardless, the dream is over for one half of Umbra Maxima!

While Phoenix, Inferno, Cosmo and Young all recover in a corner each of the ring, the last few seconds of the countdown go ....4...3...2...1....BUZZ!!

"Cowboys From Hell" by Pantera hits the PA system. Robert Crow gets pretty much the same reaction from the crowd as his brother did, that being raucous boos, as he steps out on the stage.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 256lbs, ROBEEEEERT ... CROW!!

Robert Crow runs down the ramp.

Phoenix: Jason Crow didn't spend even a minute in the ring earlier in this match, can Robert beat his brother's time at least?

Robert wishes. As he slides into the ring and gets to his feet, Madeline Phoenix flies into him at breakneck speed, clotheslining Robert right up over the top rope and out of the ring a mere three seconds after he enters it!

Roberts: Nope!
Phoenix: Robert Crow is gone! Not a good night for the Crows!

Carson: Robert Crow has been eliminated!

With Robert's elimination in mere seconds, and still around 45 seconds left until the next competitor hits the ring, Inferno turns and finds another victim. He chooses Cosmo, grabbing him and throwing him into a nearby corner, before unleashing lefts and rights, along with an elbow or two. This continues until someone from behind Inferno whistles to get his attention. He turns around to find Tommy Young on the top rope, who dives off and takes Inferno down with a missile dropkick!

Phoenix: Top Gun strikes and Inferno is down!
Roberts: And here comes Madeline Phoenix back into the fray!

Phoenix runs in and takes down Young with a hurricanrana! Young gets up near the ropes and Phoenix runs and clotheslines him over the top rope - but Young holds on to the top rope and survives on the apron. Phoenix comes back for another attempt but Young retaliates with a forearm that rocks Phoenix and sends her stumbling back into the ring where she walks right into a jumping cutter from Quentin Cosmo!!

Phoenix: The Paradox! Cosmo hits the Paradox!!
Jeffrey: He could get a huge elimination here if he can capitalise!

Young, who is now back in the ring, runs to take out Cosmo, but Cosmo flips him up and over with a back body drop! Cosmo then grabs Phoenix and launches her over the top rope - but Phoenix clings on! A back and forth of strikes from Cosmo and Phoenix by the ropes ends with Phoenix knocking Cosmo down to the mat with a vicious headbutt, before entering the ring back to safety! ....3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Black Flame" by Bury Tomorrow hits the PA system. The crowd are viscous in their atmospheric venom towards any member of The Black Flame, and Bruce Rigg, who it ends up being coming through the curtain, is no exception.

Carson: On his way to the ring, representing The Black Flame, from Glasgow, Scotland ... weighing in at 310lbs ... BRUUUCE .... RIGG!!

Bruce Rigg lugs his way dowm the ramp towards the ring.

Phoenix: The first of no doubt many members of The Black Flame participating tonight has entered the match!

Rigg slides in and comes toe to toe with Inferno locking horns with the big man. The two go back and forth with momentum, with no clear winner, and then come apart and deliver clubbing blows in succession with the other. Eventually this slugfest is broken up by a combination of Phoenix, Young and Cosmo as they all deliver dropkicks to the two big men at the same time, sending them both tumbling to the floor.

Phoenix: Team work can be advantageous in this kind of match but eventually it always comes down to every person for themselves!

Cosmo jumps back up to his feet and, filled with adrenaline, grabs Inferno and chucks him towards the ropes. Inferno slouches over the top rope and Cosmo gets underneath him, trying to lift him over!

Roberts: Can Cosmo pull off a HUGE elimation here?!

It looks almost for a second like Cosmo has the tipping point he needs, when Inferno finds his feet inside the ring, smashes Cosmo across the back with a forearm, and then unceremoniously lifts Cosmo up and dumps him on the other side! Cosmo bounces off the apron and falls to ringside!

Carson: Quentin Cosmo has been eliminated!

Phoenix: And Inferno continues to dominate, with his third elimination already!
Jeffrey: If he keeps this up, he'll have this match won no problem!

4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Step" by Ministry hits the PA system as Dirk Meyer bursts through the curtain, to a big pop from the fans!

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Valhalla, New York, weighing in at 240lbs... 4CW HALL OF FAMER ... DIRK ... MEYEEEER!!

Meyer runs down the ramp and slides into the ring with precision.

Phoenix: And Meyer is wasting no time as entrant number nine!

Meyer takes down Phoenix with a clothesline, and follows up with a jumping DDT to take out Bruce Rigg. Meyer jumps back to his feet and grabs Young, taking him down with a snapmare and then following it up with a dropkick. Finally, Meyer stands toe to toe with the only person left and it's Inferno!!

Phoenix: Meyer comes in all guns blazing, but I think the firepower is just going to entice Inferno!
Jeffrey: Yeah I'm real interested to see how Meyer deals with Inferno.
Roberts: Inferno isn't that much bigger than Meyer, but he brings a kind of frenzied stamina that will rightly scare most men... and he can be deceptively powerful when he wants to be as he's proven tonight!

Meyer attempts to take down Inferno with a clothesline, but the big man no sells it and actually laughs at Meyer. Meyer runs to the ropes and goes for another clothesline, but Inferno once again absorbs it impressively. Meyer goes back to the ropes and runs back a third time, but Inferno has had enough playing around and smacks Meyer out of the air with a clothesline of his own!

Inferno then grabs Meyer and yanks him towards the ropes. Inferno tries to toss Meyer over, but Meyer holds on to Inferno and tries to bring him over the ropes with him! Inferno changes strategy and releases Meyer, who finds his feet on the apron. Meyer punches Inferno in the face, but the big man doesn't budge. Inferno reaches for Meyer but he slips down, sliding back into the ring between Inferno's legs, and climbing back to his feet on the other side. He then comes back to Inferno from the ropes and takes him down with a clothesline of his own!

4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Black Flame" by Bury Tomorrow hits the PA system. Zephyris comes through the curtain.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from The Scorched Path, weighing in at 215lbs... ZEPHYRIS!!

Phoenix: Rigg now has an ally in that ring, because here comes Zephyris!
Jeffrey: Well, Rigg certainly needs a friend in there with the amount of enemies The Black Flame have!

Zephyris slides into the ring and immediately approaches Rigg, taking down Young with a clothesline on his way over. Together, Rigg and Zephyris approach Inferno and start combining their efforts to take down the man in the corner with punches and stomps. This becomes a good tactic until Zephyris is taken down from behind with a dropkick from Phoenix, who follows it up with a STRING CUTTER on Zephyris!

Phoenix: Madeline with the String Cutter! Zephyris' night could be over right here!

It would be, as Phoenix grabs Zephyris and throws him towards the ropes, until Rigg comes out of nowhere and blindsides Phoenix with a big boot! As Rigg grabs Phoenix and takes her out with a German Suplex, the fans come to the end of another count .... 5...4...3...2...1....BUZZ!!

"Numb" by Linkin Park hits the PA system and a somewhat mixed but loud response comes from the crowd as Camera Man steps out on stage followed by The Man Who Once Made A Cow Tap Out, looking confident (and without his trophy and belt which is probably a smart decision in this kind of match) and ready to go!

Carson: On his way to the ring, being accompanied by Camera Man, from Helston, England, weighing in at 14 stone... he is the Lightning in the Bottle holder and the 4CW Custom Cup Champion... PHIL ... MCGROOOIN!!

Phoenix: Technically, the most decorated star in 4CW at the moment, Phil McGroin has to be a favourite to win this match!
Jeffrey: And can you imagine if he did? Then he would have TWO opportunities at championships here in 4CW, as well as already holding another belt!
Roberts: McGroin has certainly had an impressive career and we know he can win big matches! He did win the 13 Ghost Gauntlet after all!

McGroin is about to slide into the ring, when he stops himself. Then he flips up the apron, pulls out a STEEL CHAIR! Then smirks to himself and rolls into the ring, armed. McGroin makes easy work of Young and Phoenix with chair shots to the back! He then jabs Inferno in the gut with the chair and smacks him across the back too!

Suddenly, Bruce Rigg appears and grabs the chair! There is a small tug of war that McGroin is clearly going to lose... so McGroin suddenly stomps on Rigg's foot and snatches the chair, then smashes him RIGHT ACROSS the head! Zephyris goes down next and then Dirk Meyer until McGroin realises he's taken out THE ENTIRE FIELD and roars gloriously in success!

Phoenix: Say what you want about his tactics, but technically, there are no disqualifications in this match, so what he did was perfectly legal!
Jeffrey: Yeah and McGroin has just taken out every single competitor in just under a minute!

5...4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Head Like A Hole" by Miley Cyrus hits the PA system.  The crowd roar as Senecca comes out to the stage!

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Valhalla, New York, weighing in at 330lbs ... 4CW HALL OF FAMER ... THIS IIIIS SENECCAAA!!

Senecca makes his way down to the ring, without Marquis the Moose, but sporting a Marquis the Moose merch tee (available at SeryShop.com). And most importantly, Senecca has a chair of his own!!

Phoenix: Looks like Senecca and McGroin are getting the Chairs match later tonight started early!!

Senecca rolls into the ring. McGroin swings the chair but Senecca blocks it with his own. Senecca then smashes the chair across McGroin's back and he finally goes down! Senecca looks around at the carnage. He then places the two chairs on the mat next to each other, picks up McGroin and body slams him on to the chairs!

Senecca then grabs McGroin and throws him over the top rope! Senecca thinks he is eliminated, but McGroin skins the cat, pulling himself back into the ring! Senecca realises his mistake and launches himself at McGroin taking him down with a huge clothesline! Young is suddenly seen on a nearby turnbuckle! He dives off and hits a missile dropkick which brings Senecca down to the mat! Senecca recovers pretty quickly and Young runs towards him with another dropkick, that sends Senecca crashing into the corner in a seated position.

4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Inked in Blood" by Sigh hits the PaA system. The crowd pop massively as one of their favourites steps through the curtain. Inside the ring, Young (being the only man standing, and Witch Hazel standing on the stage) can't help but be distracted by his former date.

Carson: On her way to the ring, from Everywhere... and NOOOOWHERE ... weighing in at 128lbs... WITCH ... HAAAAAAZEL!!

Hazel runs down the barricade along the ramp and jumps down when she arrives at ringside. She rolls into the ring but before Young can even decide what to do, Hazel is blindsided by Rigg who takes her out with a forearm smash from her peripheral!

Young flies into Rigg with lefts and rights as Hazel heels from the blindside, and around the ring, Inferno and Phoenix recover enough to get back to their feet. They spot each other among the chaos and run towards one another, clashing in the middle of the ring. Inferno goes for a clothesline, but Phoenix ducks. Phoenix grabs Inferno and hits a cutthroat backbreaker, taking him down!

Phoenix: Madeline calls that the Dollbreaker! Brutal and chilling move!
Jeffrey: And as impressive as it is, she still needs to actually get Inferno OUT of the ring to take advantage of it!

Instead of doing this, Phoenix is immediately met with an attack from Senecca, who takes her down with a German Suplex! Senecca continues to dominate as he meets Young and takes him out with a scoop slam! He then goes to the ropes and takes out Young with a big splash! McGroin begins to stomp Senecca as the countdown goes ...3...2...1....BUZZ!!

"Roadgame" by Kavinsky hits the PA system. The crowd cheer as "The Knockout King" Reuben Kojo steps out on to the stage.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from London, England, weighing in 239lbs... REUBEEEEN ... KOJOOO!!

Phoenix: One half of Synth CIty Thrillers, Reuben Kojo had an impressive MMA record of 6-0 before competing here in 4CW, so he can certainly hold his own in singles competition!
Roberts: For sure, he's not callled The Knockout King for nothing!

Kojo slides into the ring and joins the mayhem. Immediately, he hits a spinning head kick which knocks McGroin seemingly out cold!

Phoenix: BOOM! Kojo Kick!!
Jeffrey: McGroin just got knocked into 2021!

Before Kojo can pounce on McGroin and toss him out of the ring, Senecca approaches Kojo and delivers some clubbing blows to the back, which slows down the Synth City Thriller. Kojo creates some space by hitting Senecca with a mean uppercut, when suddenly Rigg joins the fray by grabbing Kojo from behind and hitting a back suplex!

Rigg gets back up to his feet but is immediately met with a big boot from Senecca, knocking him on his back! Witch Hazel is on the top rope and seemingly in prime position to take out Senecca! She dives off - but MEYER pops up out of nowhere with a superkick to Hazel in mid-air, knocking her out of the air like a fly swatter to a fly!

Phoenix: Wow! Incredible agility and foresight from Meyer, saving his tag team partner in the process!!

6...5...4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Taking You Down" by Egypt Central hits the PA system and the crowd boo as they know it means none other than the arrival of Elfan Simtul, who steps out on to the stage.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from New York, New York, weighing in at 280lbs... ELFAAAAN ... SIMTUL!!

Simtul marches to the ring with purpose.

Phoenix: The ring is looking very full right now, and it's about to get into maximum capacity with the inclusion of this man! Former 13 Ghost Gauntlet winner, Elfan Simtul joins the fray at #15!!

Simtul gets into the ring and is immediately swarmed by Meyer, Senecca and Young. Simtul swats away Young with a shove and kicks Meyer in the gut to get him out of the way. He then headbutts Senecca and follows it up with a big boot to knock all three men down to the mat!

Rigg comes face to face with Simtul next! The two of them start throwing lefts and rights at each other, until Simtul rocks Rigg with a mean right hand, then impressively lifts up Rigg into a Gorilla Press, before slamming him down on to the mat!

Phoenix: Falling Satellite! And Rigg landed right on those steel chairs! Ouch!
Jeffrey: That'll leave a bruise!

7...6...5...4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Muggsy Bogues" by Alltta hits the PA system. The crowd give a moderate cheer for relative newcomer Jerome Grayson as the impressively tall former Basketball player comes through the curtain.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Dallas, Texas, weighing in at 230lbs... JEROME ... GRAAAAYSON!!

Phoenix: Still searching for his first win in 4CW, if Jerome could pull off the impossible tonight, it would cement his legacy forever!
Jeffrey: Sure, but do you really see that happening? The guy is 6'8 and that counts for something sure, but he's also a rookie and has a lot to learn. Everyone in that ring has more experience than him.

Grayson enters the ring and now little pockets of battles are starting to emerge. Phoenix and Inferno wrestle in one corner near the corner, while Senecca and Meyer go toe to toe with Bruce Rigg and Zephyris. Young finds himself in a losing battle with Elfan Simtul. Witch Hazel finds herself being chased around by Kojo and so Grayson finds the only person not doing anything, a seemingly unconscious Phil McGroin.

Grayson drags the lifeless McGroin to his feet and pulls him towards the ropes. But suddenly, McGroin comes to life and drops to his knees, taking down Grayson with a low blow!

Phoenix: What a cheap move!
Jeffrey: Cheaper than a steel chair? Like you said, there are no disqualifications in this match!

McGroin rolls away from Grayson, still reeling from the earlier Kojo Kick. Instead, Phoenix, having taken down Inferno with a big DDT, flies towards Grayson with a running dropkick! Grayson falls back into the ropes and a recovering Phoenix finishes it off with another running dropkick, this one sends Grayson flying over the top rope and crashing to the floor below!

Carson: Jerome Grayson has been eliminated!

Jeffrey: I told you! Rookie! A LOT to learn!
Phoenix: Well, he made a decision and it backfired! Better luck next year, kid.

4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Spiders on the Wall" by Magnolia Bayou hits the PA system. The fog surrounds the arena and out comes Dark Lotus. The Swamp People have been told to remain backstage, but Ol' Smokey accompanies Lotus down to the ring.

Carson: On his way to the ring, being accompanied by Ol' Smokey, from Devil's Back Bone, Louisiana, weighing in at 275lbs, he is the 4CW Hardcore Champion ... DARK ... LOTUS!!

Phoenix: And here comes Dark Lotus at #17! And it has to be said, he's been one of the most dominant forces of 2020!
Jeffrey: He's held that Hardcore Title almost as long as everyone who's ever held it, and his dominance is not a mystery! Look at the size of him! And he brings destruction wherever he roams.

Dark Lotus reaches the bottom of the ramp and calmly enters the ring. Immediately, he is met by strikes by Tommy Young, who Lotus takes out with a headbutt. Lotus then takes down Rigg and Zephyris, with a big boot each. Meyer also goes down with a big boot but Senecca manages to grab hold of Lotus and take him out with a belly-to-belly suplex! Senecca gets back up, but Lotus recovers quickly, so Senecca kicks him in the gut and hits a standard suplex, which happens to land on the steel chairs still strewn along the mat.

Still, Lotus recovers quickly and Senecca tries for another belly-to-belly suplex, but Lotus' hand comes in with a right hand which knocks Senecca to the mat! Lotus then opens his fist to reveal a roll of quarters in his hand!

Phoenix: Quarter Pounder! Old habits die hard!

"Those In My Way" by Straplocked hits the PA system. The crowd give a respectable pop to none other than 4CW rookie, Kinzy Kane!

Carson: On her way to the ring, from Downtown New Toronto, Neontario, weighing in at 130lbs... KINZYYYY ... KANE!!

Phoenix: Like Jerome Grayson before her, Kinzy Kane is another 4CW rookie who will look to impress in this match!
Jeffrey: But like Grayson, she also lacks all the experience. She is at least affiliated with Pilgrim Paige, one of the best to ever lace up a pair of boots, and you can't go far wrong if she's tweaking your game, but there's twelve other competitors in there and she has to survive somehow!

Kinzy looks like she knows the severity of the situation but also has a determined look on her face to give it her all despite the odds. She comes down to the ring fairly quickly and doesn't shy away from sliding into the ring and getting straight into the action!

Kinzy marches at Dark Lotus with alarming speed and spins on her approach, hitting a running spinning back elbow to the head of Lotus, which sends him crumbling to the mat!

Jeffrey: WOW!
Phoenix: One good shot can take down any man! Kinzy calls that the Blade Runner and it's clearly a deadly part of her arsenal!

Kinzy scouts the ring and sees her next opportunity for offence; she sees a recovering Young  and approaches him from behind with a reverse hurricanrana!!

Phoenix: And she calls that the Sonic Screwdriver! Kinzy pulling out all the hits for her big moment here!
Jeffrey: And she's dealing with it a darn sight better than Grayson did!

Kinzy gets back up to her feet and sees Phoenix approaching. Without giving Phoenix any time to react, she jumps in the air so gracefully and suddenly, it's like she just decided to start floating, she she takes Phoenix down with a dropkick! Kinzy jumps back to her feet, visibly delighted by her fantastic start to the match - and then, BAM!! BIG BOOT from Dark Lotus knocks Kinzy to the mat and straight back down to earth!

Roberts: And just like that, Dark Lotus regains control!

Dark Lotus grabs the rookie and pulls her to her feet, before whipping her to the ropes with such ferocity that she flies over the top rope and crashes to the floor.

Carson: Kinzy Kane has been eliminated!

Phoenix: She gave it a good go, but there was simply too much star power in the ring for any one rookie to overcome!
Jeffrey: We need to get some eliminations here, that ring is starting to get clogged up!

2...1...BUZZ!!

"Forever Lotus" by RUDE. hits the PA system. The crowd cheer as Oki-Kira steps out through the curtain.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Osaka, Japan, weighing in at 200lbs... OKI-KIIIIRA!!

Kira rushes down to the ring and slides in to join the mayhem. Kira takes out Zephyris with a running Kado Kick, then turns around, ducks a clothesline from Inferno, and takes him down with a Kado Kick also! Young is next in Kira's path and he attempts another Kado Kick, but Young has that well scouted and grabs Kira's foot. He throws it up in the air and Kira flips and lands back on his feet, but it allows him to become victim of Young's kick to the knees, which sends Kira flying into the middle rope. Young runs at him and hits the Tiger Feint Kick! Young gets up on the apron and sets up for a springboard forearm smash! He jumps, he flies ... and falls right into an UPPERCUT from Reuben Kojo!!

Phoenix: The Knockout King strikes!
Jeffrey: And Top Gun looks like he's just hit rock bottom!

Kojo picks up an almost lifeless Young. He pulls him up and over the ropes in an attempt to dump him out, when suddenly, Young hooks in a headscissors! Young pulls Kojo up and over the top rope and Kojo falls to the floor below, which Young clings on and rolls back into the ring from the apron!

Carson: Reuben Kojo has been eliminated!

Phoenix: And Young takes out Kojo! I thought for sure Kojo had him!
Roberts: That's why you never rule out Top Gun, no matter how bad it looks!

Phoenix: Here comes #20! Who will it be?

"Black Flame" by Bury Tomorrow hits the PA system. The crowd are not any more pleased to see Garret Fischer as he steps out as they were the other two members of The Black Flame and are seemingly even more displeased that now three members of the faction are active in this match.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Rotterdam, Netherlands, weighing in at 220lbs ... THE ROTTERDAM RAVEN ... GARRET ... FISCHER!!

Phoenix: Here comes Fischer, the other half of The Liberation! Zephyris and they will surely now be a force to be reckoned with this in this match!

The three member of The Black Flame regroup together and focus on the stitched up team of S&M and Tommy Young. Hazel and Phoenix work together to take on Simtul and Lotus, who have also formed a temporary alliance. McGroin battles Oki-Kira and Inferno in a three way brawl. Inferno scoops up Kira and takes him out with a spinebuster. McGroin them takes down Inferno with a Fisherman's suplex. McGroin feels confident as he grabs Kira, but Kira slips out of his grasp and sweeps the legs, sending McGroin to the mat.

On the other side of the ring, Fischer takes down Senecca with a dropkick and Rigg follows it up by taking out Meyer with a body slam, landing him on top of Senecca! Young takes down Fischer with a forearm, then tries the same with Rigg, but Rigg reverses and hits a belly-to-belly suplex! Phoenix, meanwhile, takes down Simtul with a hurricanrana, before Lotus clobbers her with a thunderous clothesline! Simtul and Lotus continue to beat down on Phoenix and Hazel as the clock counts down...

5...4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Ravenous" by Killswitch Engage hits the PA system. Out comes Eli Waters, standing tall at the top of the stage looking impressively confident.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Newport, Wales, weighing in at 231lbs... THE HORIZON ... ELIIII WATERS!!

Phoenix: A rookie Eli Waters may indeed be, but he is also undefeated in 4CW! He has all the momentum going into this match at #21!
Roberts: Of course there are still thirteen other competitors in there with Eli Waters! Nobody can keep up with all that chaos!
Phoenix: But Waters is going to give it a try! He's sprinting down to the ring!

Waters slides into the ring. Instantly, he takes down both members of The Liberation with a double clothesline. Zephyris followed immediately after, with a discus clothesline!

Phoenix: Waters making an immediate impact, hitting Zephyris with Hate by Design!

Waters looks around and notices Phil McGroin stumbling to his feet, and takes him out with a thunderous German suplex! Waters jumps back to his feet to find himself in hand to hand combat with both Senecca and Meyer, who corner him while raining down shots. Waters blocks a strike from Meyer and throws forward an elbow which catches him. He then runs forward and lifts Senecca up, taking him down with a running spinebuster!!

Roberts: THIS FIRE BURNS! Eli Waters with his signature spinebuster that he can pull out from just about anywhere!
Phoenix: And Waters is bringing a tsunami into this chaos, clearing everything in his path!

Inferno comes next in the firing line and Waters runs forward and hits a brogue kick!!

Phoenix: The Death of Injustice! And Inferno is rocked and on the ropes!!

Waters sees his opportunity, but what he doesn't see is Witch Hazel, who is free from Lotus and Simtul, standing high on the turnbuckle! She dives off with a big crossbody that hits Lotus, Simtul and Waters and knocks every one of them down to the mat! ...4..3....2...1....BUZZ!!

"Forever Lotus" by RUDE. hits the PA system. The other half of Silent Sorcery comes out on to the stage to a big pop from the crowd. Kira's head flicks up among the chaos in recognition of his partner's music.

Carson: On her way to the ring, from The Shores of Cape Irago, weighing in at 132lbs... TSUKIKOOOOO ... MIZUNO!!

Tsukiko rushes down to the ring to aide her partner as Silent Sorcery unite in the ring. They then turn their attention to Phoenix and Hazel, and decide to also join forces with them. The Order of the Phoenix stands on one side of the ring and on the other side, members of The Black Flame start to come together. The Liberation and Zephyris stand together but know they are outnumbered. The two groups stare holes into the other, daring one of the other side to make the first move. But before anything can happen, other competitors of this match start to fly into either side. Lotus and Simtul join The Black Flame. Young, Senecca and Meyer join The Order of the Phoenix. Inferno goes to the Black Flame, as does Phil McGroin. Eli Waters stands in the middle for a moment, and then joins the side of The Order of the Phoenix.

Phoenix: Look at this! The ring has basically formed into two makeshift factions!
Jeffrey: This is absolute mayhem waiting to explode!!

This whole sherade takes a full minute and so the countdown comes down again... 3...2...1....BUZZ!!

"Wayfarer" by Kavinsky hits the PA system. Devon Drummond steps out on stage to a respectable pop.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Leeds, England, weighing in at 215lbs ... The Keeper of the Keys ... DEVOOOON ... DRUMMOND!!

Phoenix: Drummond's tag team partner Kojo has unfortunately already been eliminated, but the ring is split into two teams and it seems they are all waiting to see what side Drummond will join!
Jeffrey: This is one of the most bizarre things I've seen in 4CW... and I've seen some weird shit.

Drummond rolls into the ring and looks at both sides, before moving to the side of The Order of the Phoenix. The two sides begin hollering at each other and daring the other side to make a move, until suddenly, Drummond seemingly has enough of waiting, and charges forward into the opponents. A second later, both teams sprint into each other at full speed and clash in the middle of the ring like two armies colliding in a great war. Limbs flail everywhere, bodies go flying, as the chaos consumes the ring and the commentators ability to keep up with the action sufficiently, so much so that the chaos unloads without commentary for a good thirty seconds, before Devon Drummond takes down Bruce Rigg with a springboard moonsault which breaks Scott Phoenix out of his stunned trance.

Phoenix: And Devon Drummond RAGES Against The Dying Light! What a moonsault!
Jeffrey: There is absolute bedlam in the ring! I can't keep up with all this craziness! LOOK! Hazel with an enziguri on Fischer!

As the mayhem continues in the ring, the countdown comes to 4...3...2...1....BUZZ!!

"Ding Dong Song" by Gunther hits the PA system as the biggest and possibly undead member of The Janiturs, JANISTAR, lumbers out from behind the curtain and storms down to the ring.

Carson: On his way to the ring, weighing in at 370lbs... JANISTAAAAR!!

Phoenix: We don't know much about JANISTAR... other than he's big, he's scary and he apparently loves being a Janitur! He's the sole representation for The Janiturs in this match tonight, due to social distancing concerns imposed by Janitur himself, so it'll be up to JANISTAR and JANISTAR alone to bring the victory home for The Janiturs!
Jeffrey: I'd make fun but ... well, LOOK at the size of him. Who IS going to take him out of this match?

As JANISTAR gets into the ring, on the other side of the ring, Phil McGroin manages to smash Devon Drummond across the back with a steel chair he found on the mat and then tosses over Drummond with authority over the top rope and out of the ring!

Carson: Devon Drummond has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Well he incited the war between the participants in this match moments ago, but Drummond is now out of this match!
Roberts: It was a short but wild run this year for The Keeper of the Keys!
Jeffrey: As entertaining as it was for us, he is no doubt disappointed... but the show must go on!
Phoenix: And with JANISTAR being entrant #24, we only have six competitors left to enter - but can we even fit six more people in that ring?
Jeffrey: These competitors haven't forgotten this is a Rumble, right?

Multiple fights are breaking out in the ring, with some including Inferno trying to eliminate Hazel by the ropes, Lotus and Simtul finally getting sick of each other's company and starting to brawl as well as Phoenix taking down all three members of The Liberation with successive hurricanranas. The crowd's countdown brings attention to the stage... 3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"The Astral Dialogue" by Aggaloch hits the PA system. The crowd EXPLODE in a monumental pop as the 4CW Universal Champion comes through the curtain.

Carson: On her way to the ring, from the DARK SIDE OF THE MOOOOON, weighing in at 134lbs ... she is the 4CW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION ... THE GOLDEN .. PILGRIIIIM PAIGE!!

Phoenix: Entrant #25 and it is The Golden Pilgrim herself, Pilgrim Paige!
Jeffrey: And if anyone knows how to win this match it's Paige! She and Eddie Wolfbaine were the joint-winners of the first ever Rumble in the Storm match!
Roberts: She is certainly now the favourite for this match, especially given how fresh she is! Some of these competitors have been in this match for over twenty minutes now!

Pilgrim Paige wastes no time and begins her sprint down to the ring, smoothly sliding into the ring and swiftly kipping up to her feet, before immediately ducking an oncoming clothesline from Simtul and taking his down with a hurricanrana! Paige gets clubbed in the face by Dark Lotus, but then ducks under his second strike, runs to the ropes, and comes back with a sitout jawbreaker! Lotus goes down and Paige gets back to her feet to find McGroin charging at her with a chair in his hand - but Paige smoothly SIDESTEPS McGroin - and sends him FLYING over the top rope and TO THE OUTSIDE!

Carson: Phil McGroin has been eliminated!

Jeffrey: WHAT?! NO!
Phoenix: A hungry performance by McGroin for sure, but he was outsmarted tonight, plain and simple!
Jeffrey: Doesn't matter! He's still undefeated! Everyone knows battle royales don't count!
Phoenix: Regardless, Pilgrim Paige gains a quick elimination! What a way for her to start this match!

WIth McGroin tantruming on the outside of the ring about his sudden elimination, Paige moves on and finds Inferno in a rough spot, so she grabs him and tries to lift him over the ropes. Inferno fights back and pushes Paige away, taking her down with a big boot! Paige recovers fairly quickly, but Inferno is quick to double down on his offence and takes down Paige with a lariat!

Phoenix: Inferno getting a second wind and taking out Paige! Let's not forget Inferno has been here, alongside Phoenix, since the beginning of this match!

Tommy Young finds Inferno but Inferno is ready for him with a big boot too! Senecca grabs Inferno from behind and sets him up for a German suplex, but Inferno manages to land on his feet and take out Senecca with a German suplex of his own!

Phoenix: Inferno is burning up the ring right now!

Inferno stands tall and dominating as the clock counts down ... 4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Rattle Them Chains" by Wayne Murray hits the PA system as the crowd go BALLISTIC for the biggest pop of the night!!

Phoenix: Oh yeah! Here we go!
Roberts: The LAST MAN Inferno wanted to see right now!!
Jeffrey: It's CARSTEIN!!

Carson: On his way to the ring, from PARTS UNKNOWN, weighing in at 231lbs ... SATAN'S OUTRIDER ... THIS ... IIIIIIIS ... CARSTEIN!!

Phoenix: CARSTEIN IS HERE! And he has waited MONTHS to get his hands on Inferno!
Roberts: The time for waiting is over! And Inferno has NOWHERE to go!!

Carstein takes off his coat on the stage and then breaks into a full sprint, covering the ramp in six large strides and sliding into the ring, barely getting to his feet before he DIVES into Inferno and pulls him down to the mat, raining down lefts and rights on his former-partner-turned-sworn-enemy!

Phoenix: Carstein is lost in rage!! He's beating the hell out of Inferno!
Roberts: And I don't think anyone will disagree than Inferno is getting what's coming to him!!

Carstein scrambles to his feet, pulls Inferno up and HITS The Blood Drinker DDT!! Carstein picks up Inferno again and this time leans him on the ropes, before attempting to tip him over... when suddenly...

"Supernova Goes Pop" by Powerman 5000 hits the PA system. The crowd, confused and annoyed by the music of the 4CW Undisputed World Champion, protest and boo as Jack Valentine himself steps through the curtain.

Phoenix: What the hell is Valentine doing out here? He's not part of this match!
Jeffrey: I can only imagine he's out here to scout the competition!
Phoenix: Oh, and with such convenient timing, of course!

Inside the ring, the appearance of Valentine has clearly distracted Carstein... and Inferno finds an opening to slip out of his grasp and take him out with a German suplex! As Carstein crashes, Valentine heads down to the ringside area, walking around the ring and heading towards the commentary table.

Valentine leans over the announce table.

Valentine: Don't get too excited, I'm only here to watch. No talking to you losers.
Phoenix: How disappointing...

Valentine grabs a chair and sets it up next to the announce table, taking a seat... and his impromptu appearance is left alone when the crowd realise the countdown nearing it's end and counting down...

3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"You Ain't Ready" by Skillet hits the PA system. Xavier Avana steps out through the curtain to a moderate pop from the crowd.

Carson: On his way to the ring, XAVIEEEEER ... AVANA!!

Phoenix: And here comes Xavier Avana! Entrant #27 this evening, and the son of 4CW Hall of Famer Jacob Scharff, in his rookie year! So far he's 2-0 in 4CW and winning this match would do astounding things to his career projection!
Roberts: And that means there are only three entrants left to enter!

Avana enters the fray as he slides into the ring and takes down Inferno with a dropkick! Avana goes after Young and takes him down with a DDT. Avana finds himself face to face with Inferno again, but doesn't get a chance to attack him as Carstein launches into Inferno with a Lou Thesz Press, laying lefts and rights down once again! Avana instead swiftly avoids an incoming kick from Kira, but isn't able to stop Kira sweeping his legs.

Avana swiftly rolls out of the way of Kira's range and kips back up to his feet. A brawl between S&M and The Black Flame invades the battle field and the ring becomes a ball of chaos again. Out of the chaos comes Dirk Meyer stumbling backwards into the ropes and then Xavier Avana charging forward with a clothesline that sends Meyer crashing over the top rope!

Carson: Dirk Meyer has been eliminated!

Phoenix: An impressive elimination from Avana, taking down Hall of Famer Dirk Meyer!

The crowd count down 5...4...3...2....1...BUZZ!!

"Good Times" by Finger Eleven hits the PA system. Supreme gets one of the loudest reactions of the night, an all around mixed reaction as he steps through the curtain.

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Supremeville, USA, weighing in at 240lbs... 4CW HALL OF FAMER ... SUPREEEEME!!

Phoenix: Here comes Supreme as Entrant #28! And he looks refreshed and ready to go! At the late point in this match, Supreme is at a huge advantage right now!

Supreme slides into the ring and joins a ring so packed, there's barely any space to move around. As such each competitor seems to just hit whoever is closest, resulting in many on-and-off again sets of brawls that circle the ring. Supreme takes down Dark Lotus with a Fisherman's Suplex!

Phoenix: Supreme Compromise!

Supreme follows this up by launching Lotus over the top rope - but Lotus holds on to the top rope and finds his feet on the apron! Lotus comes back with an elbow that rocks Supreme. Lotus re-enters the ring but eats a roaring elbow from Supreme!!

Phoenix: And a Supreme Annoyance! Two huge shots to Lotus there, he has to be rocked!

Supreme once again attempts to lift Lotus up over the top rope, but Lotus, though groggy, fights back with clubbing blows to Supreme's neck and back. Supreme retreats and Lotus uses the sudden space he's earned to advance and take down Supreme with the foot codebreaker!

Phoenix: Count The Lights! Lotus takes down Supreme!!

Lotus gets back up and tries to shove Supreme up against the ropes, but Senecca suddenly barges in with a clothesline, knocking down Lotus. Zephyris gets a back body drop for his troubles for confronting Senecca next and Fischer, who jumps from the top turnbuckle only to get caught by Senecca, eats a backbreaker. 5...4...3...2...1...

Phoenix: Two competitors left... who's #29?!

BUZZ!!

"Wherever I May Roam" by Yashin hits  the PA system. The crowd roar as, finally, the other half of the 4CW Tag Team Champions, comes through the curtain!

Carson: On his way to the ring, from Barry, South Wales, weighing in at 385lbs ... he is one-half of the 4CW Tag Team Champions ... BRIAN ... THE FREIGHT TRAAAAAIN ... WHIIITE!!

Phoenix: The Freight Train is here! And I have a feeling that ring is going to get a lot less cramped real soon!
Jeffrey: He's a freight train by name and a freight train by nature!
Roberts: And he looks hungry for a fight! Look at White go!

White charges into the ring, a head of steam driving him into the heart of the battle. White takes down Zephyris and Fischer eat a clothesline each from the big man, but he's only getting started. White grabs Inferno and takes him out with a Pavement Slam! He then sets his sights on Senecca and throws him into the corner, running after him and taking him out with a corner clothesline.

Senecca stumbles out of the corner and Zephyris runs at White, but White simply takes out Zephyris with a spinebuster and then grabs Senecca and hits a German suplex!

Phoenix: White is making that ring his playground! He's fresh as a daisy while some of these competitors are going on thirty minutes in that ring!

White picks up Zephyris and attempts to dump him over the top rope, but Rigg comes to the rescue, pulling Zephyris out of White's grasp over his shoulders. White spins around and eats a kick to the gut followed by a big suplex from Rigg! Rigg continues his offence with a standing elbow drop to the chest and then he attempts, with the help of Zephyris and Fisher, to pull White up to his feet!

Jeffrey: Even for three men, eliminating White is an ambitious feat! Can they actually do it?

The Black Flame manage to bring White to the ropes and start to lean him over before he fights back, rough elbows and wild fists knocking back each of his opponents one at a time. On the other side of the ring, Madeline Phoenix is wrapped in a brawl with Dark Lotus, Carstein and Inferno. Phoenix takes out Lotus with a hurricanrana and sends the big man keeling over the top rope in a dangerous spot! Phoenix advances forward to eliminate Lotus when BOOM! Inferno blindsides her with a big boot for not the first time in this match!

Phoenix: Honestly, how are Madeline and Inferno still standing? They've been in this match since the very start and this match is so competitive that eliminations are scarce, meaning we have a jam-packed ring right now, and both Madeline Phoenix and Inferno have lasted this long among all that? And still they are going at each other!

Inferno's pouncing on Phoenix is quickly interrupted when Carstein once again finds his mortal enemy and takes him down with a spinning heel kick! Carstein stands tall as the crowd count down from 10 for the final time in this match... 6...5...4...3...2...1...BUZZ!!

"Antivist" by Bring Me The Horizon hits the PA system. The crowd boo for the Black Flame member, but it would be ignorant to say there wasn't a few people singing along with her catchy entrance theme. Moxie however, is in no playing mood. She stares down at the sea of people in the ring, takes a deep breath, and marches down to the ring.

Carson: And finally, on her way to the ring, from Omaha, Nebraska, weighing in at 147lbs ... ERICAAA ... MOXIE!!

Phoenix: Erica Moxie enters at #30! Not only does that mean we have a grand total of TWENTY ONE competitors in that ring right now, so excuse us if we don't call every move... but that also means The Black Flame is now four strong in this match! I'd say each of their chances to win this match just increased significantly!
Roberts: And for Moxie in particular, this match would be a great turning point in what has not been a great year for her, with her still searching for her first win of 2020!

Erica Moxie gets into the ring. Immediately, she is targeted by Brian White almost instantly, but she ducks his clothesline. She moves forward and sees Young springboarding from the ropes and manages to move out of the way in time, grabbing Young on his recovery and throwing him into White, sending both Young and White tumbling to the mat.

Moxie smirks a little, and then turns to face the rest of the ring - AND IS IMMEDIATELY CLOTHESLINED OVER THE TOP ROPE BY ELI WATERS!!

Carson: Erica Moxie has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Oh my! ERICA MOXIE IS GONE!
Jeffrey: And it was going so well for about thirty seconds! What the hell happened?
Roberts: I guess it just wasn't her night! And she looks furious!
Jeffrey: Yeah, probably at herself for making such a rookie mistake! She should know better by now!
Phoenix: To her credit, she had to keep an eye on everyone and there were twenty one! - now twenty - people in that ring!

Moxie looks outright stunned and irate at her quick elimination. She isn't sure how to process it, and she doesn't make eye contact with any of her faction mates in the ring. She simply walks back up the ramp, never looking back.

Phoenix: And anyone who has competed in these types of matches knows the anguish of a dream being over with the snap of a finger.

The rest of The Black Flame try to regroup but it is obvious Moxie's sudden elimination out of nothing has rocked them. Pretty quickly, the numbers game has diminishing returns as more of the opponents in the ring get sick of having to deal with the antics of The Black Flame. This leads to a sequence of events that starts with White booting the chin right off Rigg's face, then body slamming Zephyris on top of him and tossing Zephyris out of the ring for good measure!

Carson: Zephyris has been eliminated!

But that's not all, as moments later, when Rigg's partner Fischer jumps to his aide, literally, from the top rope, White not only catches him but also reverses into a fallaway slam, which sends Fischer up and over the top rope and tumbling to the ringside area!

Carson: Garret Fischer has been eliminated!

Phoenix: And look at that! Two quickfire eliminations from Brian White and The Black Flame are down to one man!
Roberts: And I think that's about to be no men!

Roberts' prophetic words come to fruition just a moment later, when after eating a superkick from Dirk Meyer, a rake to the eyes by Supreme and a green mist spit by Hazel into the face of Bruce Rigg... Brian White delivers mercy by tossing him over the top rope and ridding this match of any trace of The Black Flame!

Carson: Bruce Rigg has been eliminated!

Phoenix: The Black Flame are gone! Totally gone!
Jeffrey: What a turn around! I think it's Moxie's fault! She cursed them all.
Roberts: I thought you didn't believe in all that stuff...
Jeffrey: Yeah, well I couldn't believe how good your mother was when she was being drilled in all that stuff!
Roberts: That... doesn't even make sense, You're a man in need of serious medical attention, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: You're a man in need of a SHUT UP, ROBERTS!!

Inside the ring, pandemonium has broken out now the common enemy has gone. Clusters of brawls and struggles cover all sides of the ring. The camera turns to Oki-Kira, who has White down on his knees and takes him out with a swift shoot kick across the side of the head.... or so it seems, but White storms back up to his feet with a sudden rush of adrenaline and takes out Kira with a vicious clothesline! Kira stumbles back up and White attempts to grab him.

Not one to give up that easily, Kira swiftly avoids White's grasp and sweeps the legs. White goes down but gets right back up, and it's enough time for Kira to run to the ropes and come back with a dropkick! It rocks White and he falls to one knee. Kira goes for the Kinshasa attempt, but White sidesteps this time! Tsukiko suddenly appears in aide of her partner and attempts to take down White with a hurricanrana, but White holds her in place and takes down Kiko with a powerbomb!

White leans against the rope to find Kira sprinting towards him, so he ducks under and lifts Kira - over the top rope - and OUT of the ring to the floor below!

Phoenix: And there goes Oki-Kira! The Freight Train is blazing down the track to victory!
Roberts: That's four eliminations for Brian White!

As White gets back to a standing position, Waters pops up behind him! Waters grabs White and takes him down with an impressive German suplex!

Phoenix: What a show of strength from The Horizon!
Roberts: This man gets better every time we see him!

Waters gets to his feet, with a smirk on his face, but that smirk is soon wiped right off as Senecca flies in with a clothesline that takes Waters over the top rope and out of the ring!

Carson: Eli Waters has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Woah! Senecca takes out Waters!
Roberts: I thought Eli Waters was on a roll there, but Senecca expresses his dominance!

Inside the ring, Senecca looks across to see Dark Lotus, who is staring, having just watched him eliminate Waters. Lotus has a weird expression on his face, as if he was annoyed that Senecca had the gall to try and out-monster him. Lotus points at Senecca and then grabs the nearest body to him. This ends up being Witch Hazel.

Hazel surprises Lotus with a kick to the gut. She hooks up Lotus to set up for the Nilswitch, but Lotus slips out of her grip and pushes Hazel away. When Hazel turns around to face him, she eats a BIG BOOT!! Lotus picks up Hazel and tosses her over the rope with aplomb, so that Hazel lands roughly on the outside!

Carson: Witch Hazel has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Vicious! Dark Lotus seems to be showing off his dominance to Senecca!

Senecca stands there, somewhat perplexed. He offers a sarcastic hand clap. In return, Dark Lotus looks around and sees JANISTAR coming towards him. JANISTAR delivers a right hand which rocks Lotus, but he retaliates with a kick to the gut and a DDT! Lotus then picks up JANISTAR and whips him so hard that Lotus falls to the floor from the force. JANISTAR gets tangled in the ropes and falls to the outside!

Carson: JANISTAR has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Well, how's THAT for some impressive strength? Another elimination from Dark Lotus!

Now Lotus has Senecca's attention. The two inch closer to the centre of the ring and become the centre of attention for the crowd.

Jeffrey: It looks like Senecca and Lotus have a score to settle right now!

Lotus and Senecca go at it to a big pop from the crowd. Lefts and rights from both sides as neither man concedes. Lotus pushes Senecca away and lifts a boot. Senecca eats the boot but doesn't go down. Instead, he grabs the boot and pulls Lotus towards him, then takes him out with a belly to belly suplex!

Phoenix: And Senecca has the advantage!
Jeffrey: He ate that boot like it was a donut!

Senecca gets back to his feet and picks up Lotus, throwing him towards the ropes. Senecca follows after and clobbers Lotus with a couple of shots, but Lotus retaliates with a cheap elbow to the face. Lotus then grabs Senecca and takes him out with a sidewalk slam!

Roberts: And now Lotus is in control!

Dark Lotus gets back to his feet, but is unable to reach Senecca, because a new challenger approaches as Brian White gives him a taste of his own medicine as he takes Lotus down with a big boot!

Phoenix: And The Freight Train is back in action!

Lotus recovers quickly but Brian White is in clear control of the situation. He lifts Lotus up, and like Lotus did to Senecca moments ago, takes him out with a sidewalk slam!

Phoenix: Lotus took out Senecca with the sidewalk slam, but White took out Lotus with the Pavement slam!
Jeffrey: Do they make the pavements over in Wales harder or something, because White nearly winded me with that one.

Brian White grabs Lotus and tosses him over the top rope! Dark Lotus isn't able to save himself in time and falls to the ringside area!

Phoenix: And there goes Dark Lotus!
Roberts: And that's ANOTHER elimination for Brian White!

On the other side of the ring, Inferno and Carstein have started brawling again. Inferno is in control, laying the shots into Carstein in the corner. Inferno brings down a savagely accurate elbow into the forehead of Carstein. Carstein covers his face in agony and moments later is shown to be busted WIDE open!

Phoenix: That was a viciously brutal elbow from Inferno! Carstein is busted open and this will not serve him well for the remainder of the match!
Jeffrey: Nonsense! Isn't he a vampire or something? It's like a health potion!
Roberts: ...In all seriousness, that is one nasty cut on Carstein's head.

Inferno has clearly gotten Carstein exactly where he wants him. He half-carries, half-drags Carstein over to the ropes and starts to lift his legs over the ropes. Carstein finds his footing back inside the ring and gains a moment of reprieve with a forearm to Inferno!

Inferno stumbles backwards into White, who doesn't take kindly to this and takes down Inferno with another Pavement Slam! Senecca sees the weak and injured Carstein leaning over the ropes and runs over to lift him up and over!

Phoenix: Carstein is in mortal danger here!

Senecca gets Carstein OVER the ropes... but Carstein lands on the apron! Carstein hits Senecca with an uppercut, which rocks Senecca. Carstein then grabs Senecca and PULLS him over the top rope! Senecca tries to fight back but Carstein has leverage and tosses Senecca all the way over and to the outside! Carstein then drops to the apron and rolls back into the ring under the bottom rope.

Carson: Senecca has been eliminated!

Phoenix: A great showing from Senecca, but he's outta here!
Roberts: And Carstein picks up the elimination against the odds!

Meanwhile, Inferno gets an advantage over White as he rakes his eyes, then takes out The Freight Train with a DDT! Inferno gets back up to his feet and turns around - to walk right into CARSTEIN! Carstein grabs Inferno and hits THE BLOOD DRINKER!!

Phoenix: BOOM! Carstein takes out Inferno with The Blood Drinker!

Carstein grabs the stunned Inferno and drags him to his feet, before taking a running start and tossing Inferno out of the ring! Inferno lands with a thump right in front of Jack Valentine, who looks furious at this latest development!

Carson: Inferno has been eliminated!

Phoenix: And another elimination from Carstein! And quite frankly, I think the only elimination he actually wanted!
Roberts: Absolutely! But I'm not sure if Carstein will consider them even!

The camera moves over to Elfan Simtul, who is pumelling Tsukiko Mizuno with clubbing blows to the back, trying to keep her down. Simtul then changes strategy, picking up Kiko and sending her to the ropes. Kiko comes back and takes down Simtul with a crossbody!

Phoenix: A nice move from Kiko brings down the imposing Elfan Si--wait a minute, what the hell is Valentine doing?

Valentine gets up from his seat and SLIDES INTO THE RING! Carstein, who is still recovering from his recent ordeals, has no idea Valentine has entered the ring. Valentine moves up behind Carstein, as he leans against the ropes, and LIFTS Carstein's legs UP AND OVER, sending him tumbling to the outside!!

Carson: Carstein has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Hey, what the hell? Valentine is not part of this match!
Roberts: Carstein is out! I don't believe it!
Jeffrey: Valentine is the master of his own destiny!
Phoenix: Well, he's also a coward! He's getting out of here, look!

Valentine has already left the ring and is halfway up the ramp when the camera goes back to him. Carstein realises what has happened on the outside and is seething, but both Inferno and Valentine are long gone, so he's left to stew in his own rage.

Inside the ring, Valentine's appearance has distracted a few of the competitors. One of them is Tsukiko Mizuno and the distraction allows her to fall victim to a thunderous forearm from Simtul. The blast rocks her enough for Simtul to get leverage and lift her up and over the top rope!

Carson: Tsukiko Mizuno has been eliminated!

Phoenix: There are bodies flying out of that ring with an ever increasing pace! Can you believe it, we only have seven competitors left!
Roberts: Supreme, Madeline Phoenix, Xavier Avana, Pilgrim Paige, Tommy Young, Brian White and Elfan Simtul! One of these competitors is going to win a 4CW World Championship match - but who will it be?

Inside the ring, Paige and Young are brawling in one corner, with Young hitting knife edge chops on Paige with increasing power. Supreme and Phoenix stand in the middle of the ring, exchanging lefts and rights. Avana takes Simtul to the corner with a dropkick, only to eat a body slam from White. Simtul comes out of the corner and takes down White with a clothesline.

Phoenix: The ring has broken up into groups and I'm not sure how much longer any of them can last!

In the middle of the ring, Supreme hits Phoenix square in the face with the roaring elbow!

Phoenix: Supreme Annoyance! And Phoenix is rocked!

Supreme grabs The Mad Phoenix and tosses her over the top rope! Phoenix goes over - but HOLDS ON to the ropes. Phoenix starts to recover on the apron, and Supreme runs towards her to finish the job! Phoenix looks up, then swiftly drops down, pulling the top rope with her! Supreme flies over the top rope and crashes to the floor below!

Carson: Supreme has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Supreme outsmarted by Madeline Phoenix who nabs her third elimination!
Roberts: And we should keep pointing out, Madeline Phoenix has been in this match longer than ANYONE else here! She's reaching fifty minutes inside that ring at this point!

The camera moves from Supreme back into the ring, where Tommy Young is slumped across the ropes. Pilgrim Paige throws a superkick in the air which nails Young and sends him toppling over the ropes and to the outside!

Phoenix: Woah!

Carson: Tommy Young has been eliminated!

Roberts: That happened so fast! Paige eliminates Young!

But the excitement isn't over! CRASH!! Brian White runs into Paige and PLOUGHS through her with a spear!!

Phoenix: RUNAWAY TRAIN! BRIAN WHITE STRIKES!!

White lifts Paige to her feet and throws her over the top rope! Paige crashes to the outside!

Carson: Pilgrim Paige has been eliminated!

Roberts: And the Universal Champion is gone! Eliminations by the second here at the moment!
Phoenix: But you know what that means! We're down to our final four!!

The four in the ring have noticed this also, and all seem to retreat to a corner, as if to discuss with themselves their next move.

Jeffrey: Which one of them is going to take it?
Phoenix: Madeline Phoenix, who has been here since #1. Elfan Simtul, who came in at the midway point at #15. Xavier Avana, the rookie who has only had two matches here in 4CW, entered art #27 and the most recent entrant, Brian White, came in at 29. But it's been over twenty minutes of gruelling action since the last entrant entered the match!
Roberts: Yeah! We're now at the 53 minute mark!

The two big men, Brian White and Elfan Simtul, seem drawn to each other as they meet in the middle of the ring.

Phoenix: Both White and Simtul have found themselves in the final four of the Rumble previously. Simtul reached the final four in 2018 and White in 2019. And given their size and endurance, both have to be considered favourites to take it here!

White and Simtul start lobbing shots at each other. Phoenix and Avana, being the only two competitors left, lock up. Avana slips out of Phoenix's grasp and puts her in a headlock, but Phoenix quickly reverses that into a back elbow lock, until Avana reverses into the same thing.

Simtul throws several clobbering blows into the back of White, as he tries to lift him over the rope. But White breaks free with an intense burst and headbutts Simtul! Simtul doesn't give up and comes back for more - so White gives him more with a belly-to-belly suplex over the top rope! Simtul falls and crashes on the apron before bouncing off to the floor!

Carson: Elfan Simtul has been eliminated!

Phoenix: And we're down to three! Simtul is gone!
Jeffrey: Things are heating up now!
Roberts: White has been an unstoppable force in this match! Can Avana and Phoenix do the impossible and take him out?

Inside the ring, Phoenix and Avana clearly have the same idea as they nod an understanding to temporarily form an alliance against White. Avana hits a dropkick on White, which rocks him. Phoenix then grabs White and hits him with a Ranhei!!

Phoenix: BARREL ROLL! WOW!
Roberts: Phoenix just took down White!

Phoenix and Avana both pick up White and attempt to drag him to the ropes.  Avana hits a running dropkick, in an attempt to knock White over the ropes, but he doesn't budge. Phoenix follows up with a running dropkick of her own - but again, White holds firm, groggily heaving over the ropes but not lifting his feet off the floor!

Phoenix: It's gonna take more firepower than that to stop this train!

Avana runs at White to attempt a clothesline! Big mistake! White throws a right hand, which catches Avana right in the jaw, before tossing him over the top rope!

Carson: Xavier Avana has been eliminated!

Phoenix: Avana is gone! And we're down to two! It's Phoenix vs White! #1 vs #29!
Roberts: And look - Phoenix is going for it!

While White was still recovering from the Avana elimination, Phoenix hits him with an enziguri. Phoenix then gets underneath White and with all her strength tries to lift him up and over!!

Phoenix: Come on, Maddie! Push!!
Roberts: She's gotta do it!
Jeffrey: I just don't think she has enough left in the tank! She's 57 minutes deep into this thing!

Struggling under White's weight, Phoenix starts to slacken. White finds his feet and clobbers Phoenix in the back, and she goes straight down.

Phoenix: Dammit...
Roberts: She's just too tired! She's trying... damn, she's trying.

White picks up Phoenix and tosses her towards the ropes. Phoenix slumps into them. White charges at her with a THUNDEROUS clothesline! Phoenix flies over!! But NO!! She holds on to the ropes!

Phoenix: Look at her go!

Madeline Phoenix skins the cat and gets back into the ring - ONLY TO EAT A BIG BOOT!! White sends Phoenix over the top rope AND TO THE FLOOR!!

Carson: Here is your winner of the 2020 Rumble in the Storm... BRIAN ... THE FREIGHT TRAAAAAAAAIN ... WHIIIITE!!

Inside the ring, confetti falls as Brian White sits on his knees, shattered from the hard earned victory. Tommy Young and Miss Teri soon make their way down to the ring and celebrate Brian's victory with him. It seems for a moment Brian almost becomes overcome with emotion, but then he stands up, looking determined and serious as ever and leans over the ropes, lifting both hands in victory with a mighty roar!

Jeffrey: And what a display it was!  NINE eliminations, absolute domination against some seriously stellar competition!
Roberts: And hats off to Madeline Phoenix, the true Ironwoman of this match! She went less than two minutes shy of a full hour in that ring!
Phoenix: And on another day, she could be standing here the victory! But it's not Madeline Phoenix! It's Brian White!
Roberts: And based on that performance, I don't think we could have had it any other way! No-one was stopping White in that match!
Phoenix: Whatever it was that lit that fire under him, he's going to need it whenever his World Title match comes his way! But that's the future! For now, we celebrate Brian White's monumental victory! But the show isn't over! Don't go anywhere, we've got a 4CW Custom Cup Championship match! NEXT!!

Carson: The following contest is a fatal-4-way CHAIRS match and it is for the 4CW Custom Cup Championship!!

"Head Like A Hole" by Miley Cyrus hits the PA system. There are chairs laid all down the ramp and around the ring.

Carson: Introducing first, a challenger, from Valhalla, New York, weighing in at 330lbs ... 4CW Hall of Famer ... SENECCA!!

Phoenix: Well, here comes the first challenger Senecca! One thing to note here is each competitor has to have a health check before competing again tonight. And since Xavier Avana lasted so long in the Rumble in the Storm match, he is still waiting to be checked!
Jeffrey: So the kid better hurry up or this match is going to start without him!
Roberts: It should also be noted that Senecca spent nearly fourty minutes in tonight's Rumble!

Senecca picks up a chair from the bottom of the ramp and rolls into the ring. He looks a little banged up from the Rumble performance but still ready to go!

"Step" by Ministry hits the PA system. Senecca's tag team partner, and the other half of S&M, gets a big pop himself from the island crowd as he steps through the curtain.

Carson: Next, from Valhalla, New York, weighing in at 240lbs, 4CW Hall of Famer... DIRK ... MEYER!!

Meyer already has a chair in hand as he walks down the ramp.

Phoenix: Meyer himself spent twenty minutes in the Rumble tonight, so he isn't at 100% either. But he and Senecca have both had issues with Phil McGroin, stemming from the Lightning in the Bottle match at Revival, where McGroin put Meyer through the sea of tables!
Jeffrey: And Xavier Avana found himself in this match after his impressive first couple matches, but I'm being told that he's still waiting to be seen, though he is next in line!

"Numb" by Linkin Park hits the PA system. Some of the rebellious in the crowd cheer McGroin, in a hate-to-love him kind of way but the overwhelming majority boo him as he steps out, Camera Man scoping him (of course), the 4CW Custom Cup Championship on his waist, Lightning in the Bottle in his left hand and a steel chair in his right.

Phoenix: Few men can claim a better year than what McGroin has claimed so far in 2020! Reigning 4CW Custom Cup Champion, Lightning in the Bottle match winner and ACTUALLY undefeated in 2020!
Jeffrey: Of course he is! He's Phil McGroin! Undefeated and Phil McGroin are like... synonymous.
Roberts: Big word for you, Ray.
Jeffrey: I've been practicing!

McGroin hands the Lightning in the Bottle to Camera Man as they reach the bottom of the ramp and warns him not to lose it. He rolls into the ring and stands off against his opponents as the referee takes the belt and displays it for everyone to see. Then the ref takes the belt to a ringside assistant and calls for the bell!

Phoenix: McGroin vs Senecca vs Meyer! Chairs match! 4CW Custom Cup Championship! Here we go!
Jeffrey: And from what I've been told, Xavier Avana is currently having his health check! He'd better be quick!

The three competitors in the ring circle each other, until Senecca and Meyer remember suddenly, that they are actually good friends and allies, and turn their attention both to McGroin. McGroin, realising the sudden predicament he is in, rolls out of the ring. He points at both Senecca and Meyer with his free hand, screaming at them to "fight like men!" while simultaneously refusing to enter the ring.

Senecca and Meyer glance at each other, shrug, and roll out of the ring to follow McGroin!

Roberts: Well, S&M don't plan on waiting around for McGroin to grow a pair!
Jeffrey: McGroin isn't scared! He's just not an idiot!
Roberts: That makes one of you...
Jeffrey: What?
Roberts: What?

Senecca chases McGroin who runs away around the ring. On the other side, Meyer runs towards McGroin. Realising he is trapped, McGroin tries to scarper back into the ring but a chair shot to the back from Senecca puts a stop to that. McGroin stumbles away from Senecca and BAM! A shot in the back from Meyer too. S&M team up as they grab McGroin and throw him into the ring together.

Phoenix: S&M have taken out McGroin!

Once they get inside the ring with McGroin, Senecca and Meyer both freeze on the spot, realising their predicament. They look at each other, and then Senecca kneels down to pin McGroin! ONE ... TWO ... but Meyer lifts Senecca off McGroin, breaking up the pin. Senecca stands up, asking what the hell Meyer is doing. Meyer points at himself, pointing out he went through the sea of tables. Meyer kneels down to pin McGroin... ONE ... but Senecca pulls Meyer back to his feet!

Phoenix: Uh-oh.
Roberts: Looks like neither of these two can decide which one of them is going to pin McGroin!
Jeffrey: Amazing... too dumb to win a championship that's there for the taking!

Meyer shoves Senecca, who glanced at him with an annoyed smirk, and then shoves Meyer back. Meyer falls on his ass, gets back up, and gets in Senecca's face!

Phoenix: Tension is high right now for these tag partners!
Roberts: McGroin is just out cold! Right there! All they have to do is pin him!

While Senecca and Meyer continue to argue, nose to nose, a rush of cheers comes from the crowd. The camera pans out to see XAVIER AVANA sprinting down to the ring, with a chair in hand!

Phoenix: Look, it's Avana! He had a monumental night tonight, finishing in 3rd place in his Rumble in the Storm debut! Now he has a chance to bring his first piece of 4CW gold home!

Avana slides into the ring with the chair in hand. He throws the chair at Senecca, who catches it. Avana then launches into a dropkick into the chair, which hits Senecca and knocks him down. Meyer swings his own chair at Avana, but Avana ducks and drops to the floor, before delivering an uppercut to Meyer. He then jumps back to his feet and hits a Northern Lights Suplex! Avana keeps the hold in position and gets a pinfall attempt. The referee slides in.

ONE ... TWO ... NO!! Meyer kicks out!

Phoenix: Wow! Xavier Avana almost took the match right there!!

Suddenly, Senecca is back on his feet. He grabs Avana and disables him with some clubbing blows to the back. Senecca then sends Avana to the corner and follows up with a corner clothesline! Avana reels from the strike but Senecca keeps him leaning against the corner, delivering chops at a quickening pace. Senecca then lifts Avana on his shoulder, but Avana slips out of Senecca's grasp and dropkicks Senecca into the corner. He follows it up by chasing after Senecca with a helluva kick!!

Phoenix: Senecca is BENT OUTTA SHAPE! We could have a new champion right here!!

Senecca falls and Avana covers quickly. The referee slides in... ONE ... TWO ... TH--NO!! Meyer jumps in to break the count!

Roberts: Meyer saving his tag partner there, but also his own chances of winning this match!

Senecca rolls out of the ring. Meyer attacks Avana with quick stomps and strikes, keeping him on the defensive until the reach the corner. There, Meyer locks Avana into a Full Nelson hold, before spinning into a neckbreaker!!

Phoenix: A unique combination you'll only see in someone as unorthodox as Dirk Meyer!
Roberts: Is this the chance he needs?!

Meyer covers Avana and the referee counts... ONE ... TWO .... NO!! Avana kicks out!!

Phoenix: A great show of resilience from the 4CW rookie! Avana is still in this!

Meyer keeps on the offensive, immediately getting to his feet, this time positioning a steel chair on the mat, and then setting up another Full Nelson neckbreaker! He locks in the hold, but Avana powers out and wriggles out of Meyer's grip. Avana grabs Meyer and whips him to the ropes, and before Meyer can even look up, Avana follows right behind with the BENT OUTTA SHAPE!!

Meyer goes down and it looks all but done for Xavier Avana - but Phil McGroin is no longer laid out on the mat! In fact, he's standing up with a chair in hand! Xavier Avana turns to face him! CRACK! CHAIR SHOT STRAIGHT TO THE HEAD!!

Phoenix: Oh no! Vicious strike!
Roberts: Xavier Avana is out COLD!!

Phil McGroin grabs Xavier Avana's lifeless body and just for good measure, hits the Eggcution DDT on to the steel chair! McGroin hooks the leg! ONE ... TWO ... THREE!!

Carson: Here is your winner and STIIIILL the 4CW CUSTOM CUP CHAMPION ... PHIL ... MCGROOOOIN!!

Jeffrey: The only thing that matters is the result. In the history books, Phil McGroin wins and is STILL UNDEFEATED! Come on, baby!

"The Astral Dialogue" by Agalloch hits the PA system. The small crowd in attendance make a lot of noise for their 4CW Universal Champion as Carson makes the introduction. Pilgrim Paige is tired, from her earlier appearance in the Rumble, and she doesn't have her full, illustrious entrance. Instead, she heads down to the ring, championship around her waist and a steely determination in her gaze.

Carson: The following contest is an open challenge scheduled for one fall and it is for the 4CW UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP! Introducing first, from the DARK SIDE OF THE MOOOOOON ... weighing in at 134lbs... she is the 4CW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION ... THE GOLDEN ... PILGRIIIIIM PAAAAIGE!!

Phoenix: Here comes the ever-present, ever-fighting 4CW Universal Champion!
Jeffrey: She's already competed tonight! The Golden Pilgrim spent nearly thirty minutes in the Rumble earlier tonight!
Roberts: And the question is... who will accept her challenge?

Pilgrim Paige gets into the ring and holds her belt up high in the air, facing the stage. She says nothing but the implication is clear: here's the title, come and get it. There's a few moments of silence and waiting... and then...

"Ravenous" by Killswitch Engage hits the PA system. The crowd start to cheer as they recognise the music of someone who has continued to impress so far. Eli Waters steps out on to the stage. Inside the ring, Pilgrim Paige raises her brow curiously.

Carson: And her opponent... from Newport, Wales, weighing in at 231lbs... THE HORIZON ... ELI ... WATERS!!

Eli Waters nods confidently as he walks down the ramp, not taking his eyes off Paige the whole time.

Phoenix: Well, this could be an absolute match for the ages right here! Eli Waters has been nothing but impressive since debuting at Revival! He's won every match so far, and now he has the biggest opportunity of his career. A championship match against a 4CW Hall of Famer!
Roberts: And Waters too was in the Rumble tonight, spending around fifteen minutes in there.
Phoenix: It just shows why Pilgrim Paige is a great champion and one all aspire to be. Tonight, she will defend the title even though she is not 100%... but the real question is, will she walk out of here the champion? Or will her willingness to fight tonight cost her?
Jeffrey: Well if she does want to leave as champion, she has to do something no-one has so far. She has to beat Eli Waters!

Waters enters the ring and stares down Paige. Paige hands the belt over to the referee, who displays it for all to see. After the referee does her pre-match checks, Anna Molly calls for the bell.

Phoenix: 4CW Universal Championship! Here we go!

To start the match, both Waters and Phoenix head to the middle of the ring. Eli Waters offers a hand, and after a moment of consideration, Paige slaps his hand respectfully.

Phoenix: A show of sportsmanship to start this one off!

Pilgrim Paige and Eli Waters lock up in the middle of the ring. Waters wins the battle of strength and pushes Paige away, who rolls through and lands back on her feet. Paige starts to circle Waters and he mimics her movements, until Paige manages to slip in and lock Waters into a headlock.

It doesn't take long for Waters to break out and lock Paige in a headlock of his own. Paige struggles to get out of it until Waters sends her to the ropes and on her return, Waters takes down Paige with a belter of a clothesline! Waters picks up Paige and hooks her up for a standard suplex, executing it perfectly, before going for a cheeky cover. 1...2.. Paige kicks out!

Roberts: Waters in control in the early going.

Waters picks up Paige and sets her up for another suplex. Paige blocks the lift with her leg, so Waters spins her around and lifts her up for a back suplex instead! Quick cover! 1...2...no! Paige kicks out! Waters continues piling the pressure by picking up Paige and immediately whipping her into a corner. He runs at her and goes for a clothesline, but Paige moves out of the corner just in time. Waters spins on the spot, and eats a knife edge chop from Paige!

Phoenix: A stinging blow!

While Eli Waters falls into the corner, Paige slaps him with three more knife edge chops, and when Waters stumbles out of the corner Paige takes him down with a sitout jawbreaker!

Roberts: Paige brings down Waters with the jawbreaker!

Paige turns on her back and covers Waters! 1...2...NO! Waters kicks out! Now with the advantage, Paige gets to her feet first. When Waters finally gets up, she charges him with a running dropkick, which sends Waters back into the corner. Paige runs at Waters and hits another running dropkick. Paige then follows it up by taking down Waters with a hurricanrana! With Waters down, Paige pulls out a STANDING shooting star press!

Phoenix: What a combination from The Golden Pilgrim!
Roberts: Is it enough?

Paige hooks the leg and Anna Molly counts! ONE ... TWO ... NO! Eli Waters kicks out!

Jeffrey: The Horizon kicks out! I thought Paige had it for a moment!

Pilgrim Paige jumps right back into the attack, getting to her feet and bringing Waters back up with her only to take him back down with a spinning neckbreaker! Another cover! ONE ... TWO ... NO! KICKOUT from Eli Waters!

Paige once again gets back up to her feet but this time leaves Eli Waters on the floor. She climbs the turnbuckle.

Roberts: Paige is going up top! What does she have planned?

Paige reaches the top turnbuckle and wastes no time jumping off, executing a picture-perfect Frog Splash! Paige covers Waters again! ONE ... TWO ... NO!! WATERS KICKS OUT!

Phoenix: A Frog Splash following a neckbreaker, but it's not enough to put away Waters!
Roberts: He's definitely a hungry competitor! But has he bitten off more than he can chew tonight?

Paige gets back to her feet, before jumping and hitting a double foot stomp on Waters! Waters gasps as he clutches his chest.

Phoenix: Moon Shoes!

Paige then turns and looks back up at the turnbuckle. Clearly a plan forming in her mind, she goes back to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle again!

Phoenix: Could we be seeing the Lunar Eclipse?!

Paige sits perched on the top turnbuckle and waits as Waters gasps and splutters to his feet. She positions herself for what certainly seems like the Lunar Eclipse! She dives off - but Waters suddenly dashes backwards, having sensed Paige's incoming attack. Paige lands a bit rough but recovers nicely, turns on the spot and BOOM! Brogue kick from Waters to Paige!

Phoenix: It's THE DEATH OF INJUSTICE! Waters JUST TOOK OUT PAIGE!
Jeffrey: Are we about to crown a new champion?!

Paige collapses and Waters covers her! ONE ... TWO ... TH---NO!! PAIGE GETS HER FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!

Phoenix: Incredible veteran's instinct from the champion! She knew exactly where she was and how to save herself!
Jeffrey: But is she even conscious enough to make a comeback after that kick? Yeesh!

Waters is clearly frustrated at the kickout, having figured he had the match won. But he doesn't dwell on it. Instead, he jumps back up to his feet and grabs Paige. Waters sends Paige to the ropes and on her comeback, attempts a discus clothesline! But Paige ducks! Paige runs to the ropes and comes back faster - and Waters TAKES HER OUT with a SPINEBUSTER!

Phoenix: This Fire Burns! But has it burned out Paige?

Waters covers the Universal Champion! ONE ... TWO ... NO!! PAIGE KICKS OUT!

Roberts: No, it hasn't! These two have resilience for days!

Waters picks up Paige and sends her back to the ropes. He tries again for the discus clothesline, but for the second time, Paige ducks. This time though, Paige stops her own run, spins on the spot, and takes down Waters with a Side Russian Leg Sweep!

Phoenix: And Paige takes down Waters! She floats over into a cover!

ONE ... TWO ... NO! Waters kicks out!

Paige immediately gets to her feet and launches herself into ANOTHER standing shooting star press! But she's not done there!! Chest heaving with exhaustion, she climbs the turnbuckle for a third time!

Phoenix: Pilgrim Paige is going up top again!
Jeffrey: What could she have planned this time?

Pilgrim Paige reaches the top, takes a long, deep breath ... and then LAUNCHES from the top turnbuckle and hits a picturesque SHOOTING STAR PRESS!!!

Phoenix: A PILGRIMAGE TO THE STARS!!
Jeffrey: Is this it?!
Roberts: Paige makes the cover!!

ONE ... TWO ...  THREE!!!

Carson: Here is your winner and STIIILL 4CW UNIVERSAL CHAMPION ... PILGRIIIIIM ... PAAAIGE!!

Phoenix: Eli Waters gave Pilgrim Paige a hell of a challenge tonight, but she was able to overcome the rookie and retain the 4CW Universal Championship!
Jeffrey: Yeah but make no mistake - Eli Waters took Paige to the limit tonight and probably got the attention of half the locker room doing it!
Roberts: Nevertheless, Pilgrim Paige is STILL your Universal Champion!
Phoenix: And coming up next, people... our main event... a match with wonderful... or catastrophic... ramifications...

The ring is set up with the ropes removed and an MMA-style cage surrounding it.

Carson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a CAGE FIGHT! The rules are simple. The match will take place inside the MMA-style cage surrounding the ring. Escaping the cage will result in a forfeit. Anyone affiliated people interfering for either party will result in a forfeit. The only ways to win this match are via pinfall, submission or forfeit. If Cain wins, he will become the new General Manager of 4CW. If Sery wins, Rhys Cain will be fired!

"Red Flag" by Billy Talent hits the PA system. The crowd roar at the arrival of their beloved GM, but more so the fact he is dressed to compete! Sery stands on the stage, absorbing the atmosphere of performing once again, with a big smile on his face.

Carson: Introducing first, from Antigo, Wisconsin, weighing in at 185lbs, he is the General Manager of 4CW and 4CW Hall of Famer... THIS ... IIIIIS... SERYYYY!!

Phoenix: We haven't seen Sery in singles action for over three years! But it doesn't look like he's been taking it easy! He's in good shape!
Jeffrey: He has to be in the best shape of his life if he doesn't want to be embarrassed tonight! I'm not ruling the guy out, but the fact is, Sery hasn't wrestled in three years and Cain has been actively peaking the last three years. Cain is definitely the favourite tonight and despite our personal feelings towards him, I think it would be ignorant to pretend otherwise.
Roberts: Surprisingly succinct from you, Jeffrey. And I happen to agree: Sery really needs to put something out of the bag here, because if he loses, 4CW could be in for a hell of a second half of 2020 - and the first half was chaotic enough!
Phoenix: It is indeed obvious that Cain goes into this match with the edge - but never rule out what passion and heart can do to turn the tide of a match! Some people just don't have it in them to quit, and Sery is one of those people!

Sery's face turns from big and smiley to narrow and focused as he heads down the ramp, now focused on the ring and cage surrounding it that will soon be his battleground. Sery is allowed into the ring through the cage door by an official and he heads in. Sery is wearing elbow and knee pads as well as half-gloves, giving his usual attire an MMA flare.

The lights go dark and the stage lights flare up to bring the focus back to the titantron as "As I Am" by Dream Theatre hits the PA system. Immediately, the visceral hatred from the crowd festers around the island as Cain comes out on to the stage.

Carson: And his opponent, from THE SCORCHED PATH... weighing in at 225lbs... 4CW Hall of Famer... THE BLACK FLAME ... RHYS ... CAAAAIN!!

Phoenix: "The Black Flame" Rhys Cain has been scheming for months in an attempt to get Sery out of power and to take the 4CW throne for himself. It's come down to this match and for better or worse, we will get a winner!
Roberts: And while Cain is in the prime of his career, he did lose his last match against Clyde Bonham. That has to affect him, mentally.
Jeffrey: I'm not sure anything would deter Cain's adamant nature. He has a goal and he plans to achieve it, burning whatever he has to in his path!
Phoenix: And the clue is in the name. This is a cage FIGHT. Neither man can escape, neither man can be helped.

Cain looks up at the cage with a smirk on his face. He enters and instantly Sery is seen tensing and almost shaking with rage on the spot. Cain takes his time, to climb the turnbuckle and taunt the crowd. He then jumps down and stares at Sery in the opposite corner. Referee Jason Trent talks to both competitors and when he is satisfied they have understood his instructions, he calls for the bell!

The second the bell echoes through the air, Cain and Sery charge at each other. They clash in the middle of the ring, wild lefts and rights flying into the air. The two punch lumps out of each other for a solid twenty seconds until they start to come apart to recuperate. Cain got the better of the exchange and runs forward, punt kicking Sery in the stomach, causing him to keel over.  Cain then stomps Sery in the head.

Phoenix: Vicious brutality right from the off!

Cain picks up Sery and throws him at the cage. Sery hits the mesh face first. Cain then grabs Sery and sends him to the ropes, before going after him and taking him out with a slingblade! Cain hooks the leg! 1...2...no! Sery kicks out!

Jeffrey: Cain has the early advantage, but Sery is still in this one.
Roberts: Of course! This isn't just any match, the future of 4CW is at stake!
Phoenix: And Sery bleeds 4CW as much as any of us!

Cain grabs Sery and drags him to his feet, before bashing his face repeatedly into the cage. Sery falls backwards and Cain tries to lock in the Back Snap, but Sery scouts it and rolls out of Cain's grasp, getting back to his feet on his own. Cain turns to face his opponent and eats a dropkick point-blank in the face! Cain falls to the floor and his nose starts dripping blood as his eyes start to water. Sery pounces on the opportunity and locks in a crossface on the fallen Cain! Putting pressure on the possibly-broken nose, Sery wrenches away as Cain gasps and shouts in agony, writhing as he tries to pry Sery's hands away from his own face!

Phoenix: Is Cain going to tap?!
Jeffrey: He just might!

Cain considers tapping for half a second, before changing his mind and shifting his weight so that he is able to get on top of Sery with his shoulders pinned to the mat. Sery realises his predicament and releases the hold at the count of 2! Both Cain and Sery roll away from each other, to try and recouperate. A "LET'S GO SERY!!" clapping chant breaks out among the exclusive crowd.

Phoenix: Cain manages to find a smart way out of the crossface - but he was in big trouble for a moment there!
Jeffrey: Let's not forget that Cain's career is also on the line here tonight! He HAS to win, or he's DONE!
Roberts: And to your point, Ray... Cain has put his career on the line multiple times and he has yet to come up short!
Jeffrey: Thanks for that, Captain Obvious.

Inside the cage, Sery is first back up to his feet. As Cain stumbles to a standing position, Sery kicks him in the gut and hooks him up for a snap suplex, executing it perfectly! A quick cover gets Sery a 2 count, so he continues to his next move by picking up Cain and dropping him on his head with a DDT! Another cover! 1...2... kickout from Cain!

Sery gets back up and wastes no time in laying into Cain, with kicks to the chest and arms as Cain tries to get up. With Cain on his knees, Sery unleashes a SUPERKICK out of nowhere! Cain crumbles and Sery covers!

Phoenix: BOOM!

Referee Jason Trent slides in and counts! ONE ... TWO ... TH--NO!! CAIN KICKS OUT!

Roberts: That was a close one!
Jeffrey: Where would we be without your wisdom and insight, Roberts?

Sery grabs Cain and roughly yanks him up to his feet! He then sets up Cain for the SLICED BREAD #2: he takes hold of Cain and runs forward and up the cage -but Cain breaks free and Sery crashes to the mat!

Phoenix: Cain had that one scouted, alright! He and Sery have both spent over a decade in this company and you can be sure they know all the tricks of the other!

Cain grabs Sery's arms and begins to VICIOUSLY STOMP repeatedly into Sery's face!

Roberts: Oh my god!
Jeffrey: Vicious and brutal boots from The Black Flame!
Phoenix: It sickens me to tell you this but instincts are what they are: Cain calls those stomps It Falls On Me.
Jeffrey: Ha! Sorry, but that is pretty funny.

When Cain has had his fill imprinting boots in Sery's face, he lets him drop and covers him. Seemingly unconscious, it seems this one is over when the ref counts ONE ... TWO ... THR--NO!! Sery, somehow, KICKS OUT!!

Phoenix: That must be pure instinct! There is no way Sery is consciously aware of everything going on right now after those boots!
Jeffrey: Heart can be a match saver... but it can also be a career ender when you don't know when to quit!

Sery actually manages to sit up and as Cain gets to his feet, Sery is trying with all his might to get up and fight, grabbing Cain's tights in an attempt to pull himself up. Cain grabs Sery by his face and laughs right at him. Bizarrely, Sery starts laughing too. And then, Sery lifts an arm - LOW BLOW TO CAIN!!

Phoenix: Ha! Not so nice when it's your own balls getting crushed, is it?
Jeffrey: Title of your sex tape...

Cain goes down and Sery heads for the cage! He starts to climb up!

Jeffrey: What's that idiot doing? You escape the cage, you LOSE!
Roberts: I don't think he's going up there to escape!!

Sery reaches the top of the cage and stands up. It's smaller than a standard cage, probably about ten feet tall. Sery takes one look back at Cain, and dives off, hitting a MOONSAULT with absolute precision and beauty! Cain is crushed under the weight and Sery scrambles to cover him! ONE ... TWO ... THRE--NO!! CAIN KICKS OUT!!

Phoenix: HOW?
Jeffrey: He's one stubborn bastard, I'll give him that.

Sery looks just as shocked as the commentators sound. So he decides he's not done. Clutching his ribs, still feeling the impact, he CLIMBS THE CAGE ALL OVER AGAIN!

Phoenix: This is reckless!
Jeffrey: I think reckless is the only way you get anywhere in this match!

Sery reaches the top of the cage again. The crowd are going nuts. SERY DIVES OFF - this time forward facing for a SERYOUS SENTON BOMB - and CAIN IS UP ON HIS FEET AND SUPERKICKS SERY IN MID AIR!! Sery thuds with a groaning crash. Cain collapses due to sheer exhaustion.

Phoenix: OH MY GOD! SUPERKICK!
Roberts: Cain OUT OF NOWHERE!
Jeffrey: And it was all he had in him! Both men are down!

Neither man moves, the crowd go nuts chanting "THIS IS AWESOME!!" and the referee, knowing he can't count them out, can only check on both competitors! At least a full minute passes before we see any sign of either one moving from the spot they are lying in. Cain starts to stir, shaking his head to get rid of the cobwebs. He crawls over to the cage wall and uses it as a climbing frame to get back to his feet.

Despite the blast he took, Sery isn't far behind Cain. When Cain is up on his feet, Sery is on his knees and struggling. Cain notices this and waits in position, seemingly setting up for something! Sery finally gets up to his feet and turns to face Cain - who runs at him with a BUSAIKU KNEE KICK!

Phoenix: DRAGON RAGE - NO!! SERY SIDESTEPS!

Inside the ring, Sery had predicted the move and sweeped to the left, so that Cain hit air and landed on his back hard with no reward. Cain scrambles back up to his feet and Sery stops him in his tracks by hitting him with a knife edge chop! Cain cringes as his chest stings. Sery is barely standing, hunched over, but still putting his fists up and demanding Cain bring it.

Cain chuckles at this and nods. Sery unleashes a second knife edge chop, and Cain follows it up with a nasty forearm smash!! The smash rocks Sery to his knees, but that doesn't stop him. He takes a moment, then gets back up to his feet and unleashes a third knife edge chop that clearly hurts Cain, though he doesn't move from where he's standing. Cain retaliates with another brutal forearm and Sery once again falls to his knees.

Phoenix: I respect Sery's tenacity, but this is hard to watch... he is clearly outmatched in striking here due to that mid-air superkick he took, but look - he's still not giving up!

Sery gets to his feet and this time he takes a step close to Cain and screams in his face before delivering a fourth, blistering, knife edge chop. Cain actually takes a step back this time, but it doesn't slow him from retaliating with yet another forearm smash!! But this time, Sery STAYS STANDING! He has a crazed, manic look on his face. Like all the adrenaline has flooded his brain and he's too pissed off at the pain to feel it. Cain unleashes ANOTHER forearm smash!! And Sery NO SELLS IT! Then Sery yanks his head forward, headbutts Cain in the injured nose, so that the blood begins to gush out and then takes Cain down with a Lou Thesz Press!

With Cain down and Sery mounted, he unleashes a barrage of lefts and rights to the face of Cain, which looks savagely beaten because of the bloody nose. Finally, Sery gets off and taunts to the crowd, as they blow the imaginary roof of the open air arena for their General Manager. The blood is pumping and it shows as Sery looks ready to unleash ten moonsaults!

Phoenix: Sery is on fire at the moment!!
Jeffrey: He blasted through the barrier of exhaustion and found his second wind!

Cain struggles to get to his feet but only is up for mere seconds as Sery steps forward and unleashes ANOTHER superkick! Sery then climbs the cage, not all the way, but enough to get some elevation, then dives off and hits Cain with the Elbow Drop! Sery hooks the leg!! ONE ... TWO ... NO! Cain kicks out!

Phoenix: With a lack of ropes to springboard off, Sery got creative!
Jeffrey: But it still wasn't enough to extinguish The Black Flame!

Sery grabs Cain and attempts another suplex, but Cain blocks the lift with his leg. Then Cain reverses, taking out Sery with a suplex of his own! However, Cain keeps the hold locked in, turns and lifts Sery for a second suplex! He then repeats it one more time, completing the Triple Suplex combo! Cain stumbles to his feet, blood and battered, clearly worse for ware, but with victory in sight as he looks at Sery on the mat. He grabs the Hall of Famer and puts him in position for Avada Kedavra! But no - Sery reverses with an elbow to the side of Cain's head. He then grabs Cain, runs up the cage and HITS THE SLICED BREAD #2!!

Phoenix: Sery hits the Sliced Bread! IS IT ALL OVER?!
Roberts: IT HAS TO BE!

ONE ...
TWO ....
THRE--NO!!!

CAIN KICKS OUT! Sery rolls away, devastated by his failure to put the match away and seemingly unable to come up with a solution.

Roberts: Sery must be thinking, "what do I have to do?"
Jeffrey: I don't know what it is, but he needs to pull something out of the bag!

Inside the ring, Sery shakes his head, in defiance of himself, and stands back up. He's not done yet! He grabs Cain and pulls him to his feet, setting him up once again.

Phoenix: I guess Sery has decided if at first you don't succeed, try, try again!
Jeffrey: Another Sliced Bread?!

Sery sets up Cain, runs up the cage! Sery kicks off, but somehow when they push off the cage, Cain stabilises, repositions Sery and takes him down to the mat with a powerful lariat like slam! Cain is unable to pin immediately, but eventually he does roll over after a few seconds to recouperate and cover Sery... ONE ... TWO... SERY KICKS OUT!

Cain decides to get back to his feet and pull Sery along with him. He pulls Sery by the arm as if he is going to Irish whip him, but then pulls Sery up and hits a Sidewalk Slam with aplomb! He hooks the leg! ONE ... TWO ... TH -- NO! Sery kicks out!

Phoenix: Cain pulling out his greatest hits and signature moves here but so far nothing can put away Sery!
Jeffrey: It seems neither of them have any idea how to put the other one away!

Cain, now with a clear advantage, grabs Sery from the mat and pulls him up. Cain then sets up Sery for a second attempt at the Avada Kedavra, but ONCE AGAIN, Sery breaks out with an elbow, grabs Cain AND HITS THE SLICED BREAD #2!!

Phoenix: HE DID IT! SLICED BREAD #2 ... NUMBER TWO!
Jeffrey: This has gotta be it!!

Sery hooks the leg of Cain, as Jason Trent slides in to count...

ONE ...
TWO ...
THREE-NO!!!

CAIN KICKS OUT!!

Phoenix: A major sense of deja vu here! Sery just pulled off an Avada Kedavra reversal into a Sliced Bread TWICE! And BOTH times, Cain kicked out!
Jeffrey: These may be two of the most stubborn men I've ever met - and I've met myself!

The fatigue on both Sery and Cain at this point is astronomical. Cain isn't moving at all, and Sery moves sluggishly as he tries to crawl back up to his feet. Eventually he manages it, and Cain is still seemingly out. Sery lurches as he bends over and picks Cain up to his feet. Cain looks glassy eyed as Sery hooks him up again for ANOTHER attempt at Sliced Bread #2.

Phoenix: They say third time's the charm!

Sery runs up the cage and flips over - but Cain pushes him away!! Sery falls to the mat, but he ROLLS THROUGH, not taking any serious damage as he rolls all the way back to his feet, spinning around to meet Cain and running forward - RIGHT INTO A BUSAIKU KNEE KICK!!

Roberts: DRAGON RAGE!!
Phoenix: Dammit...
Jeffrey: That's got to be it!

Cain moves to pin Sery, but then stops. He changes his mind, stands up (bringing Sery with him) and sets him up for the Avada Kedavra! Cain jumps into the air, bringing Sery with him and executing the move perfectly!!

Phoenix: Cain makes doubly sure! AVADA KEDAVRA!
Jeffrey: This is it...
Roberts: It's all over...

Cain hooks the leg of Sery and Jason Trent slides in to count.

ONE ...
TWO ...
THREE!!!

The bell rings. The crowd are stunned into silence.

Phoenix: I can't believe it... he did it... the prick actually did it...
Jeffrey: We have a winner, and we have a new General Manager of 4CW.

Carson: Here is your winner and the NEW General Manager of 4CW, THE BLACK FLAAAAAME ... RHYS ... CAAAAIN!!

"As I Am" by Dream Theatre hits the PA system. Now the crowd wake up from their stunned stupor, and the boos come and they come and they come. In stronger and stronger waves, the boos wash over Cain and almost over his music too as he stands up and exits the cage. He stumbles through the door and falls to his knees on the outside. The Liberation, Erica Moxie and Zephyris all run down the ramp to congratulate their leader. They help him to his feet, but he brushes them off, wanting to walk on his own feet.

Moxie: You did it! You actually did it!

Cain looks at Moxie, but says nothing. Clearly he is too exhausted to string a sentence together. He simply turns, looks at Sery in the ring, laid out and smiles. Then, Cain raises his arms into the air as The Black Flame applaud and cheer around him.

Jeffrey: I don't know what to say... the odds were stacked against him, but I just thought Sery could pull it off!
Roberts: Stunning, really. There's an uneasy buzz all around the arena.
Phoenix: Ladies and gentlemen, people of all ages... this is usually the time I'd sit here and thank you for joining us and implore you to join us next time. Instead, I can only apologise for what you have just witnessed and pray you find it in yourself to tune in next month. Storm Front: Atonement, comes to you live from 4CW Fight Island, next month! Please, for our sake if nothing else, tune in. Thank you 4CW Universe, for everything you have helped us achieve over the years... I just hope this isn't the beginning of the end...

Cold Open: Anything with Carstein is a good thing! I love you he's after his goal with an almost single minded mania, and yet, even when he has it all straitened out, Sery is still evasive. Really good build up for what's to come.

Rumble in the Storm: And what's to come is this frankly insane rumble match! This could be a candidate for match of the year for me, and that's not just because my guy won! The action was consistent and frenetic, the pacing well thought out, everyone had their spots. I particularly enjoyed when the Black Flame and Order of the Phoenix materialised and went to war. Followed pretty closely by Carstein showing up and starting the process of ripping Inferno a new asshole! I honestly don't know how you managed to keep track of it all as well as you did ;-P Bloody good work.

Fatal 4 Way Chairs match, Custom Cup: One of the great things of having a single person write a show like this is the continuity that's able to be shown throughout. This was shown here in particular by the fact Xavier Avana was so later for the match. I love this kind of world building! Good match, but I feel was hampered by the fact it came after the rumble. Still fantastic showing by all involved and plenty of the usual underhanded tricks by McGroin. Everything his tenure as Custom Cup Champ we have come to expect.

Universal Title Open Challenge, Paige vs Waters: Again, good use of continuity here. Decent if relatively short match here. Eli Waters showing us that he really is a contender with a lot of ambition. Good win for Paige though, the Veteran showing how to conserve herself throughout the entire show.

Cain vs Sery: And now for the main event. This was story telling in 4CW at it's finest. I hated the outcome, I was loving the action, the build, the lows, the highs! Sery nearly managing to do what no-one has yet managed, and ending Cain's career, but falling short at the end. I'll be honest, I could see it coming, especially towards the end, but that makes it no less impactful. Great work on this Rhys. It was a pleasure to be stressed out by you again!

Match of the Night: Rumble in the Storm match by a country mile.
Moment of the Night: I want to say Brian White Winning the Rumble, but I think that actually comes second to Cain beating Sery and becoming the 4CW GM... And I hate it! :-D
MVP of the Night: See above! :-P

Over all bloody great show with massively high stakes and consequences that'll see us to the end of the year at least. Great stuff!
