Lockdown

Things are ok. I got furloughed a couple weeks back so I've been home with my daughter whilst my wife has worked, also from home. Being an insurance adviser means she can continue to work from home. Still, it's getting a bit repetitive these days. I can't wait for lockdown to end if only for the music projects I'm part of can start back up again!

It's weird. And it's even weirder cos it's happening everywhere. Mainly I'm bored, days are blurring into each other, and I miss work so much. But I have been playing a hell of a lot of video games, including Smash Ultimate and The Witcher, so it's not all bad.

I got furloughed last week along with half the company. I had one sleepless night about it, really worried about losing 20% of my wage, but the following day I came to the conclusion that I'm not going anywhere or spending much money, so I should hopefully be okay financially. It's nice to get a break from work for a bit. They were really fucking me off in there beforehand, so I'll take the hit to get a break from them all.

Haven't found that I've done much with my time. I've watched all of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels whilst on leave. Now trying to work out what else I can be assed with. Trying to keep busy though for my own mental health, but it's not that easy. It's far too easy to do nothing. Getting out of bed in the morning has become really hard for example as I just want to stay there.

Honestly this whole thing has brought me in touch with myself... now if that's scary or good remains to be seen. but i'm creative when i'm backed against a wall.
