Because there's little on and hopefully a lot of you are at home and not having to work during this pandemic... we've done this before but it's time again. Name your top 5 all-time favourite wrestlers and why. I won't accept things like "Taker just because". I'm also hoping there's a surprise name or two listed.

In no particular order:

1. Kane. Always had a soft spot for Kane ever since his debut, The look and back story was fantastic. Every time he was on screen he had my interest. I even liked the mask off unveil even though it was pretty stupid... it's a shame that they didn't capitalise on that as they booked him to be an absolute monster and he could have been a great World Champion during that tie before they ruined the character.

2. Chris Benoit. Ignoring what he did before killing himself, his wrestling career was great. His winning the World Title at Mania was simply amazing. The guy could wrestle with anyone and look good. Always found it funny when someone should stiff shot him and then he'd hit them pretty hard back.

3. Chris Jericho. The guy that can reinvent himself regularly and still be entertaining. The time he takes away from the ring has probably helped him continue to look as good as wrestlers half his age. He sets himself a standard and sticks to it. On the mic as well he's one of the best ever - The List phase was one of the best and was always entertaining.

4. Triple H. I think as time goes on we realise just how good he actually was. People hated him for a period as he was pushed like mad... but the guy had everything. Confident on the mic, willing to take the piss out of himself and a good wrestler. Still has one of the best finishers around. What makes him good is that everything he did he made look believable... apart from the assaults with a sledgehammer as that shit is never believable without someone dying. He put on some of the all-time best matches I've ever watched though, so would be criminal to not have him in my top 5.

5. Jerry Lynn. I feel like this should be a just because... but I'm not going to break my one rule. Every time I watched ECW it was his matches that stood out. The moves he pulled off were insane at times. There were times that I'd watch a PPV just because he was on it. Pure entertainment, even against guys that could barely wrestle.

Easy.

1. Edge. Didn't care for him too much when he was teaming with Christian, as Christian was my favourite of the two. But on their own, Edge really upped his game and his winning the WWE title was one of the best wrestling moments I can remember. He became better than I thought he'd ever be.

2. Shawn Michaels. Just fantastic and made everything look good. I missed most of his first WWE run, so most of my memories of him are post back break. To be at that level and maintain it after that injury and time off just shows how good he really was.

3. Bret Hart. Again, missed most of his career, but I've watched enough of his matches since to know that his talent is unquestionable. Absolutely loved watching his matches.

4. AJ Styles. I wish he'd come to WWE sooner, as his early TNA matches really were phenomenal. Love his finisher as well, even though it has caused a few injuries.

5. Dolph Ziggler. He should be used way better than he is. I actually wish he'd left WWE a long time ago so that he could fully realise his potential. Anywhere else and I reckon hed'd have been world champion a few times. The guy has it all. I'd actually be happy if AEW came in for him. Sure, he might not main event for them now at this point in his career, but at least we'd be able to see him cut loose.

1. Shawn Michaels. Best in ring performer of all time. One of the best heels ever. So glad he turned the attitude around. But he ALWAYS put on the best show. I also got heavy into wrestling as a kid right around his Royal Rumble 96 win.

2. Stone Cold. Ultimate badass. Perfect guy at the perfect time. While it was for a short time, he was the guy while wrestling was at its height. He would receive the biggest pops all the time and the McMahon feud was the greatest ever. Embodied the Attitude era, which in my opinion, was and will forever be, the greatest era in wrestling ever.

3. The Rock. The fact that we had Stone Cold AND The Rock at the same time just isn’t fair. What an amazing heel and easily the greatest on the mic talent I’ve ever seen. Awesome catch phrases, matches, move set, and etc. Truly the Great One.

4. Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack. More so Mankind and Dude Love. The things Mick Foley would do for the business. Just so much fun to watch. Fucking nut job. You’ll never see a performer like him again.

5. Macho Man Randy Savage. That voice. The look. Going back and watching nearly all his matches (I wanna find more WCW ones) but he was just awesome. If I could imitate one voice on the planet, it would be his. They should have ran with him a bit longer. Wish he could have came back during the invasion Era.
