Dean Ambrose leaving

1. WWE never announce someone not resigning a contract
2. They definitely don’t announce it when AEW are snooping
3. Dean Ambrose got on the mic to cut a promo and was cut off by Nia and thrown out of the ring. Stinks to high heaven of a work. If Ambrose really was leaving, first of all why would they give him a promo only to cut him off and second why would he then agree to such a thing?

Whilst I'm suspicious, it's not the first time they'd have announced someone leaving. Remember Lesnar? Although that was much much closer to the end of his contract than nearly 3 months away.

WWE have a weird habit where they sometimes announce news, use a wrestlers proper name, etc, just to beat dirt-sheet sites to proper news. Other times they ignore it.

But yeah, with AEW starting up and signing some good talent, this just seems a bit odd, even if it was all looking legit to start with.

I guess we'll see in April.

On a side note, I found it hilarious that they had Renee completely silent during his in-ring segment.

Seems like he's actually gone. No Wrestlemania match and he gave a farewell speech after Raw last night. If it's a work, it's a fucking good one. I'm actually disappointed, as I'd grown to like him. Still hate it when Cole calls him the Lunatic Fringe as it's a stupid nickname, but for Ambrose himself I've grown to like seeing him wrestle, whereas I didn't used to. He's probably improved the most out of the Shield guys, since Rollins has always been great.

Yep, I was wrong. He’s gone. Gonna miss that dude.

He's changed his Twitter handle back to what he used on the Indies - Jon Moxley. So I guess he's back to using that when someone books him.
