Honestly, I think we all knew this was coming... WWE want us to forget about CM Punk, and having him as longest reigning champ of the modern era is the last thing they want. What it does potentially mean though is that Brock might actually lose his next defence...

The fact Lesnar wasn't even at the show where he broke the record says as much as you need to know about the Lesnar title reign.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
It's sad, but was bound to happen. Like Rhys said though, the fact that he wasn't even on Raw for when he broke the record says everything you need to know about his reign.
Just a shame that the record books will show that he's the longest reigning champ even though he's barely been there to defend it. The record isn't a lie, but it is a bit deceiving if you don't include how often he's been available or defended it.

Usually I'd think that this is quite a feat... but it's no where near as good as CM Punks. I saw something the other day as this was getting closer that showed the absolutely huge difference in title defences between the two. CM Punk was regularly on TV defending the title. Lesnar is hardly there at all. I personally think it's sad to see him taking this record when he's part time at best.
