-Lord Skywolf Opening Segment: Skywolf appears to be in control, but at the same time going off the deep end. Interesting.
-Lord Skywolf vs Gohnny Joldberg: Short and sweet but don't see it leading anywhere.
-Brian White Interview: Good to get some insight into his mindset before his match
-Stormchaser Final: Brian White vs Eddie Wolfbaine: Wrote it
-Don Stone vs Scott Angel: Poor guys.
-Waverly & Justice Recruit Starr: This looks like a stable might really be forming out of this. Intrigued to see where it goes.
-Glock Nine vs Phil McGroin [Vietnamese Kendo Stick Match]: Little shorter than I expected and I liked the salt water twist.
-Skywolf/Meyer Backstage segment: Kind of weird but I liked Meyer randomly spouting quotes.
-Custom Cup: Sery (c) vs Pilgrim Paige [Triple Cage]: Fun match though, and maybe because I missed something in the rules or otherwise, but I'm confused as to why Sery didn't retain after falling off. Congrats to Paige all the same though.
-Supreme & Scharff vs S&M: Glad I notched my first win this go round. Interesting switch and we'll see where it goes.
-World Title: Jon Viper (c) vs Rhys Cain [Hard Knocks Life]: Again this one felt a little rushed from the start. Viper looks like he's gonna be tough to take down, but White has the best chance next month I feel.
-Custom Cup: Sery (c) vs Pilgrim Paige [Triple Cage]: Fun match though, and maybe because I missed something in the rules or otherwise, but I'm confused as to why Sery didn't retain after falling off. Congrats to Paige all the same though.
You have to climb down with the belt and through the door to win. Sery didn't have the belt. And he fell from the roof of the cage, to the floor.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
Fuck you Dirk! We are so broken up buddy!

You just have to hit the floor with the belt in your possession to win.

Proud to be your Custom Cup Champion, folks! The reign of the Golden Pilgrim begins! Gonna start brainstorming some match ideas pretty soon, and begin work on the seg.
I haven't read every seg and match yet, and as long as my memory holds up, I'll do a proper review.
I will note that I loved this exchange:
Roberts: You’re one to talk. When’s the last time you saw a treadmill?
Jeffrey: I saw like five on the drive over here. What does that have to do with anything?
Phoenix: Those are windmills, Don Quixote.
Jeffrey: Is that the guy on the boxes of porridge?
Awesome.

Well, that was an entertaining read!
So, my thoughts...
-Lord Skywolf Opening Segment: I'm enjoying getting to know Lord Skywolf and the kind of man he seems to be. I wasn't around for his earlier runs, so this kind of thing is fun.
-Lord Skywolf vs Gohnny Joldberg: As is watching him destroy a comic relief character out of shear spite!
-Brian White Interview: Wrote it
-Stormchaser Final: Brian White vs Eddie Wolfbaine: Enjoyed this match, and rather liked the fact that ImperialStingmon did his research on the moves, thanks for that buddy :-) Also, I like being on a winning streak, was not expecting this win too!
-Don Stone vs Scott Angel: More character building for Skywolf. Good to see patches of psychosis coming through, just what every wrestler needs! :-P
-Waverly & Justice Recruit Starr: I dunno what to think about these guys... Everything about them makes me hate them even more. They really are the kind of people that if I met them in real life I'd have a hard time not lamping them! But then, I guess that's the point! Anyway, well written as usual Rhys ;-)
-Glock Nine vs Phil McGroin [Vietnamese Kendo Stick Match]: Ah, and here's where the brutality really starts to kick in! Well written, fun match. I really don't know how McGroins actually managed to survive, but if this is the end of the feud for now, it's certainly well won! Nice touch with the salt water too!
-Skywolf/Meyer Backstage segment: This was an interesting segment. The quotes used certainly helped ramp up the tension and the obnoxiousness of Mayer to the point I'm surprised Skywolf didn't physically throw him out of the office! Well written and good heel work by Mayer. Let's see where we go with it!
-Custom Cup: Sery (c) vs Pilgrim Paige [Triple Cage]: Enjoyed the match and the story it told, just some issues with the actual writing as I found myself editing the match in my head to help the flow, adding/removing words to make better sence of the sentence. But as that's my only real gripe in the show, it's not too much of an issue. I am surprised that Sery lost in his first defence, but then I also kinda hope that a full on feud will come of this, with some belt swapping/stipulation swapping.
-Supreme & Scharff vs S&M: Nice little match, and seems like Senecca is becoming something of Meyers bitch. Poor guy! Still, good action and again, great heel work by Meyer.
-World Title: Jon Viper (c) vs Rhys Cain [Hard Knocks Life]: If this feud were to continue, it may well end up in a retirement for one of these characters as a murder would most likely happen in the ring next time! The brutality of the cage matches have certainly been made apparent in this show, and the blood has been allowed to run freely. Well written again, good story, though it did feel a little short. We hit the end but I was expecting a bit more. The pacing I felt was a little quick for this match. If it were a real one, it feels like it wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes, whilst the triple cage match would've been an easy 20 minute-er. Still, good end to a good show. Also, I loved the remark about not being real! Breaking the fourth wall is fun sometimes!
So, World Champion by next month, then I'm coming for the Custom Cup! I'll be triple crown champ by Halloween, and all at the same time! :-P
4CW Hall of Fame Class of 2018. Triple Crown Champion 2020. 2 times Universal, 2 times Tag team and 1 Time World Heavyweight Champion.
Wrestler of the Year 2017, Champion of the Year 2017, Most Improved 2017
So, World Champion by next month, then I'm coming for the Custom Cup! I'll be triple crown champ by Halloween, and all at the same time! :-P
We'll see about that, dear. 😉

Thanks for the explanations on the cage match guys. Glad you liked your match Gorgrim. It's fun writing again.
4CW Presents... SummerFest [Storm Front SuperShow]
Live from the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California.
July 23, 2017
Attendance: 19,456
"Vertigo" by Eclipse plays over a video package featuring an array of 4CW roster members, including Jon Viper, Brian White, Eddie Wolfbaine, Sery, Pilgrim Paige, and Senecca to name a few. Pyro explodes from the stage and all along the ramp, as the camera cuts to the arena, panning the cheering audience, in the Staples Center! We cut to the commentary trio at their desk.
Phoenix: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to this special Storm Front SuperShow! We are live in the Staples Centre, in Los Angeles, California in front of a sold out crowd! I'm Scott Phoenix and I'm joined by my broadcast partners James Roberts and Ray Jeffrey! This is SummerFest!
Roberts: We have an insane show for you tonight! Hard Knocks Life Match! Triple Cage Match! Vietnamese Kendo Stick Match! And that's just half of the show!
Jeffrey: It's gonna be one hell of a night, that's for sure!
Phoenix: And now we - it's - excuse me - OK, well - I’m being told there’s a disturbance happening backstage, so we’re going to see if we can find out what’s going on!
The camera cuts to the backstage, where “The Demon” Don Stone and Scott Angel are exchanging punches near the locker room area. Stone slams Angel against the wall and both men continue throwing shots, until Skywolf appears into view dressed in a suit and tie and physically pulls them apart. He holds them at arm’s length from each other, while both men keep trying to get at one another.
Skywolf: Knock it off! Knock it off!
Neither man listens, both of them desperate to get their hands on the other.
Skywolf: I said quit it!
Finally, they each realize who’s talking to them and come to their senses, ceasing to resist but still staring each other down between gasps of breath.
Skywolf: I don’t have time for this BS. You two want to tear each other apart so badly? Fine, I’m a guy who likes to give opportunities. Tonight you can settle whatever this is, but you settle it inside the ring. Got it?
Stone and Angel turn and nod at Skywolf, then look back to each other.
Angel: Works for me.
Stone: After I’m done with you, that’ll be the only thing of yours that works.
Scott Angel tries to push forward, but Skywolf slams him back into the wall.
Skywolf: Save it for later. I’ve got more important things to worry about right now.
Releasing them both, Skywolf turns and continues walking towards the camera, as Stone and Angel stare each other down. The shot switches to the arena once more, showing Skywolf walk through the curtain and onto the stage, causing the fans in attendance to rise to their feet and cheer.
Jeffrey: When he said he had more important things, I thought he meant getting himself a family-sized pizza for after the show. He’s looking a little doughy around the middle these days.
Skywolf holds a microphone in his hand as he moves towards the ring, largely ignoring the fans at ringside. Reaching the stairs, he quickly climbs them and steps through the ropes.
Skywolf: Alright, I’m gonna cut to the chase here. We all saw what happened on Storm Front.
Some fans cheer, but the majority boo.
Skywolf: Yeah, you know what I’m talking about. You see, I came back here for one reason, and that reason is to make 4CW the best it can be. Now, I have no problem with losing. I’ve lost matches before and I’ll damn sure lose matches again. No, what I have a problem with is losing matches I shouldn’t. I have a problem with people taking the easy way out. I have a problem with being screwed out of my chance at the 4CW World Championship, a title I earned once before with my own sweat and blood, and now that legacy is looking like it’s about to be tarnished.
Jeffrey: Uhhh...one of you guys want to remind Skypup how he won that title?
Roberts: You go right ahead, Ray. I don’t think he’s in the mood for semantics.
Skywolf: So when I say I came here to make 4CW the best it can be, that means I cannot allow the integrity of the 4CW World Title to be damaged.
Skywolf pauses momentarily, leaning against the ropes as he addresses the crowd.
Skywolf: That belt deserves better. This company deserves better. The wrestlers in the back deserve better. And you fans deserve better!
The crowd reacts with cheers at that Mick Foley-esque cheap pop.
Skywolf: I’m not going to take away his opportunity tonight, but I want to offer Eddie Wolfbaine a chance. I want to give him the...opportunity to make things right. So, Eddie, I know you’re back there right now getting ready for your match tonight. I know you’re watching me right now, and I know you can hear every word I say. Eddie, if you have an ounce of integrity in your body, I want you to come out to this ring right now, apologize for your actions, and forfeit your number one contender’s match!
Jeffrey: What?! Has he lost his mind?
Phoenix: Wolfbaine’s tactics weren’t exactly on the up-and-up, but he did win the match according to the rule book. I think Skywolf’s letting his emotions get the best of him here.
Skywolf motions to the entrance, waving Wolfbaine on.
Skywolf: Come on, Eddie! If you have any self respect left after what you did, you’ll come out here and bow out of the match gracefully. You know you don’t deserve it! You’re a sad shell of the man you used to be, and if I have to come back there and beat that forfeit out of you, then godda--
Suddenly, the sound of drums echoes throughout the arena, followed by an all-too-familiar orchestra, as the camera cuts to the backstage area.
Roberts: Wh--no way!
Jeffrey: Please don’t tell me...
Four police officers stand outside a locker room with a star haphazardly hanging on the door. One of the officers knocks on the door, causing the star to fall off and flutter to the ground, while a loud thud can be heard from inside. A few seconds pass, then the door opens, with a giant of a man walking into view holding his head and looking in extreme pain.
Phoenix: It’s Gohnny Joldberg! He’s back!
Roberts: Heeere’s Gohnny!
He tries to shake it off, but ends up headbutting one of the cops in the process. The policeman staggers back and is helped by his partners, while Gohnny stumbles off down the hall, making roaring noises and other weird sounds.
Jeffrey: I never thought I’d see the day when they let that re-
Phoenix: Ray! We can’t use that word anymore!
Jeffrey: Fine. But I’m still gonna call him Simple Jack.
Punching at imaginary foes, Gohnny snorts his way through the locker room area, stealing one of those giant foam fingers in the process. Finally making his way onto the stage, a burst of pyro almost shocks him into running back where he came from, but he gets caught up in the curtain beneath the 4CWtron and barely makes it out alive, scampering onto the ramp in a panic. The fans start chanting “Joldberg” in a slow, melodic tone as he finally gets back to his feet, dropping the foam finger in the confusion. He tries to pick it up, but keeps kicking it forward by accident, until he winds up losing it under the ring.
Roberts: Skywolf doesn’t look impressed by this, but I think he’s the only one not enjoying himself right now. We haven’t seen Gohnny Joldberg in a 4CW ring in years!
Jeffrey: I thought he died. Don’t they usually have short life spans?
Phoenix: Ray!
Jeffrey: I meant giants!
Noticing the ring for the first time, Joldberg looks up curiously at Skywolf and then grabs the middle rope, pulling himself onto the apron.
Carson: Now entering the ring...standing 8’20” and weighing 1200 pounds...this is Joldberg!!!
Jeffrey: You know, I’ve always had my doubts about those stats. Just slightly. And wait, is this a match?!
Roberts: If it is, this is news to our General Manager!
Skywolf looks shocked that Carson even got into the ring in the first place, let alone announced Joldberg without him realizing it. He turns to chase after the announcer, shouting inaudibly at him, while a referee slides into the ring and calls for the bell.
Phoenix: A match it is! And we’re underway!
Across the ring, Gohnny unleashes a primal roar, while Skywolf stops in his tracks and turns around slowly, a look of fear on his face. Just as he fully faces his unexpected opponent, Joldberg launches himself at Skywolf with a massive spear.
Roberts: Here comes Joldberg!
With a quick pivot, Skywolf sidesteps Joldberg and even manages to propel him harder into the corner, launching Gohnny through the turnbuckles and straight into the steel ring post. Joldberg immediately goes limp on impact, and Skywolf wastes no time dragging his body out from the corner and dropping him onto his back, hooking the leg in a tight pin. The referee looks horrified at what he just saw, but slowly gets down to make the count, while the fans are silent in shock.

3!!!
Jeffrey: And there goes Joldberg! Ha!
Carson: Here is your winner...Lord Skywolf!
Pushing away from Joldberg in disgust, Skywolf starts yelling at the ref, getting in his face until he jumps out of the ring in retreat. He then turns his attention to Joldberg, who is just now starting to come to. Without hesitation, Skywolf starts stomping on him, before pulling his suit jacket off and dropping to a knee to deliver a flurry of punches.
Phoenix: Skywolf has just completely lost it on Joldberg! We need to get security out here!
As referees start running into the ring, Skywolf gets up and drops one with a straight right hand, causing the rest to jump right back out of the ring. With his focus back on Joldberg, he stomps on his chest one more time, before rolling out under the ropes.
Phoenix: Thank god this is over. But Skywolf has just gone over the edge tonight, and I have no idea what that means for his future here in 4CW!
Jeffrey: Joldberg isn’t even a 4CW employee! He tried to assault our General Manager and Skywolf just defended himself!
Walking around the ring, Skywolf looks like he’s about to leave, when all of a sudden he turns back and heads towards the timekeeper, reaching over and grabbing the steel chair out of his booth.
Phoenix: No! That’s enough! You can’t do this!
Jeffrey: Do it!
Roberts: You’re not helping, Palpatine.
Skywolf rolls back into the ring with the chair in hand, causing the referees and security who were tending to Joldberg to jump out of the ring to safety. Slamming shot after shot from the chair into Gohnny’s ribs, Skywolf keeps yelling “you think this is a joke?!” at him. Finally, dented chair still in hand, Skywolf composes himself, calmly picks up his jacket, then walks to the far end of the ring. Taking this cue to help Joldberg, paramedics join the referees and security in quickly entering the ring. But before they can get Gohnny out of harm’s way, Skywolf drops his jacket and comes charging back again, driving a wicked shot from the edge of the chair into Joldberg’s midsection, the impact causing a pencil to come flying out of his nose.
Jeffrey: It all makes sense now! Skywolf was just trying to make him unretarded again!
Phoenix: Damn it, Ray!
Now with his job done, Skywolf exits the ring to chants of “thank you, Skywolf” from the fans, while paramedics finally rush to attend to Gohnny Joldberg.
Phoenix: I can’t believe what we just saw. Our General Manager has cracked and just took his frustrations out on Gohnny Joldberg.
Jeffrey: I think it might be Johnny Goldberg again. Unless he’s dead for real this time.
Roberts: Show some empathy, Ray. That young man was just brutalized by Skywolf! He had no idea what he was getting himself into.
Jeffrey: For once, I agree. He probably doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into when he puts on his clothes, let alone what happened tonight. Good riddance, is all I can say.
Without even looking back, Skywolf walks out of view into the backstage area, steel chair still in hand, while the paramedics inside the ring call for more help.
*~*
The camera cuts backstage where Marie Dubois is in the interview area.
Dubois: Joining me at this time, the Universal Champion, Brian, "The Freight Train", Whiiiite!
White moves into camera along side Marie Dubois' smiling form.
Dubois: Brian, it's been some time since we've been able to talk, how does it feel being the Universal Champion and advancing to the finals of the Stormchaser tournament?"
White: Well Marie, it feels great. It's been a long time coming but finally having a belt across my shoulder makes it all worth while." White gently taps the belt hanging over his left shoulder. "But i'm not one to stand around, and this tournament has been going really well for me. Not one, but two opponents who screwed themselves out of the chance to advance, though in Sery's case, I'm not sure he got the better deal, that cage thing looks a monster.
White chuckles to himself.
Dubois: You going to be facing Eddie Wolfbain, a veteran of the 4CW ring. What are your thoughts going in?
White smug smile turns into a leer as his opponent is brought up.
White: He shoulda stayed away. He may be a veteran around here, but it's us younger guys that are rebuilding this company to greater heights than ever before. I beat another fabled vet for this belt and he's not been seen since, and I'll beat two more to see a second belt over my shoulders! So, Wolfbaine, I'll see you tonight. And Viper, if Rhys doesn't kill you first, I'll be seeing you soon!
White stalks away from the stage area, chuckling to himself, leaving Marie staring after him as the camera fades. We cut back to the ring for our next match!
Carson: The following is the final match in the Stormchaser Tournament! Introducing first, weighing in at 232 lbs., from Detroit, Michigan…Eddie Wolfbaine!
Pyro explodes as “The Gathering” begins to play and Wolfbaine makes his way out. He is quickly obscured by his signature fog, but something that isn’t is the crowd’s feelings towards him, a mix of boos and cheers after some questionable tactics in his semifinal match. He walks to the ring ignoring the outstretched hands of ringside fans of his work.
Carson: And his opponent, weighing in at 400 lbs., from Barry, South Wales…Brian “The Freight Train” White!
“Wherever I may Roam” begins to play and Brian and Tommy make their way out to the ring. They walk down the ramp, Brian never taking his eyes off of Eddie, and get into the ring. Brian doesn’t dare turn his back on Eddie after what happened with Skywolf.
Phoenix: This is it. The winner of this gets an opportunity at the 4CW World Heavyweight Championship next month.
Jeffrey: The loser is more embarrassed than Roberts on prom night. So close, yet so far away.
Roberts: Hey!...Just shut up Jeffrey.
The bell rings and the two lock up in the center of the ring, but Brian quickly starts shoving Eddie into the corner thanks to his size advantage. The ref calls for break and Brian obliges and goes back to the center of the ring and tells Eddie to bring it. Eddie marches back to the center and locks up with Brian again and this time Brian just chucks him backwards. Wolfbaine lands on his butt and is not happy as White smirks at him.
Phoenix: Wolfbaine has never had to deal with White’s size advantage before.
Jeffrey: Don’t be calling people fat now Scott.
Wolfbaine gets to his feet, he goes to lockup with White again, but actually slips behind him this time and goes for a rear waistlock. He tries to maneuver White while the hold is on, but he won’t budge and Wolfbaine ends up getting caught by a back elbow. Wolfbaine releases his grip and as White turns around he runs off the ropes and tries to slam him with a shoulderblock but it’s like he hits a brick wall as he just bounces off of White like a rubber ball. He regains his feet though and runs the opposite ropes and this time he goes for a dropkick to White’s knee and it connects! White drops to a knee. Wolfbaine quickly follows up with a DDT! Early cover!
1!
White launches Wolfbaine across the ring as he kicks out! White gets back to a knee as Wolfbaine punches the mat in frustration before rising. He goes back towards White, but White punches him in the stomach before he can do anything. He lands a couple more hands as he gets to his feet. Wolfbaine is doubled over and White proceeds to put his head between his legs.
Phoenix: Could be looking for the Train Crash!
White does pick Wolfbaine up for a powerbomb, but Wolfbaine slides down his back and catches White with a superkick as he turns around! White’s still on his feet though and Wolfbaine superkicks him again! The big man falls over! Wolfbaine into the cover!
1! 2! White kicks out just after two and Wolfbaine, gets up immediately and starts stomping repeatedly on the bigger man, trying to keep him down. White manages to roll into a crawling position though and Wolfbaine realizes he has to do more and goes for a low dropkick to White’s head and it connects! White rolls out of the ring at this point and is trying to collect himself on the floor. Wolfbaine scales the ropes nearby. Looking for a missile dropkick! White catches him! Fallaway Slam on the floor! Wolfbaine howls in pain as he hits the thin padding. The ref begins to count both men out!
1!
Phoenix: What happens here if this goes to countout?
Jeffrey: Viper doesn’t have a challenger and is champion forever?
2! 3!
White gets to his feet and starts making his way over to Wolfbaine.
4!
White pulls Wolfbaine up and goes to throw him into the ringpost, but Wolfbaine attempts a reversal, but the bigger White again is unmoved. White punches Wolfbaine straight in the face with a right hand!
5!
Wolfbaine is slumped against the post now. White goes for a Stinger Splash but Wolfbaine slides down out of the way at the last second and White eats post! Wolfbaine rolls back into the ring!
6!
The ref is still counting out White and Wolfbaine pleads with him to count faster.
7!
White slowly gets to one knee.
8!
White makes his way back to his feet!
9!
White rolls back in and Wolfbaine jumps on him immediately throwing whatever kinds of strikes will land, trying to prevent the big man from getting up. He runs across the ring and bounces off the ropes but White plants him with a spinebuster as he comes back! White gets back to his feet and senses the change in momentum as he grabs Wolfbaine and hits a backbreaker. White then applies an Ankle Lock!
Phoenix: White has that Ankle lock on good and tight! Will Wolfbaine escape or are his championship dreams dashed here and now?
Wolfbaine struggles to pull himself free from White’s grip on his ankle and finally, in his struggles, finds the ropes, and the ref calls for White to break the hold. White does and he pulls Wolfbaine up and sets him up for the Train Crash! White flips him up and Wolfbaine starts raining punches down onto White’s head. White drops Wolfbaine and Wolfbaine manages to hook White’s leg and pull him down with an STO which he converts into the Koji Clutch!
Phoenix: Angels Fall First! But will White fall first or Wolfbaine?
White struggles as Wolfbaine applies pressure to him, but he doesn’t stay on his belly long and he quickly gets up to his feet with Wolfbaine just hanging onto his head to try and keep the hold in. White shifts his leg however and suddenly Wolfbaine finds himself in powerbomb position again! Train Crash! White got all of it! He can’t hold the cover though! He crawls into the cover!
1! 2!
NO! Wolfbaine somehow gets his shoulder up! White can’t believe it! The audience cheers loudly, glad the match is still going. White heads to the corner across the ring from Wolfbaine. He cups his hands around his mouth and shouts “woo woo!” the signal for the Runaway Train! Wolfbaine is up! White charges in! He drills Wolfbaine! Cover!
1!
2!
3!
Carson: Here is your winner and the new #1 contender, BRIAN ... THE FREIGHT TRAAAAAINN ... WHITE!!
Brian White gets up to his feet and rests against the ropes, holding his arm in the air in victory. Tommy Young jumps into the ring and gives him some words of congratulations.
Phoenix: Well, it's all over! Brian White wins the first-ever Stormchaser Tournament! He will take on the 4CW Champion, either Jon Viper or Rhys Cain, next month on Storm Front!
Jeffrey: And whoever it is, neither will be 100% after the gruelling match they are having tonight!
Roberts: That's right! Our main event tonight will be a Hard Knocks Life Match for the 4CW World Title!
Jeffrey: But now it's time for some... well, let's be real, filler action!
The camera cuts back to the squared circle, where Scott Angel and “The Demon” Don Stone are standing across from each other in the ring.
Carson: The following match is set for one fall, with a ten minute time limit! Introducing first, already in the ring, “The Demon” Don Stone! And his opponent, Scott Angel!
Both men raise their arms in the air to a slight reaction from the crowd. The bell rings, and all of a sudden the crowd bursts into cheers as Skywolf comes speed-walking out from behind the curtain with a dented steel chair in hand.
Roberts: Not again! What is going through his mind right now?!
Jeffrey: I don’t pretend to know, but I like it!
Inside the ring, Stone and Angel stop staring each other down and turn to face Skywolf, both men frantically talking to each other. As he hits the ring, Stone charges first, but Skywolf ducks his clothesline and just keeps running, slamming the steel chair into Angel’s face. Scott Angel drops like a sack of bricks, but Stone rebounds off the ropes and comes running back at Skywolf, only to eat a shot from the edge of the chair in the gut. He drops to a knee, doubled over, while Skywolf raises the chair above his head and slams it down across Stone’s back.
Phoenix: The referee is obviously throwing this match out, but the bigger story here is Skywolf has seemingly lost his mind entirely! What is he even doing out here?!
Jeffrey: Tying up loose ends, Phoenix. These two were the start to his crappy night and now he’s ending it with an exclamation point!
Stone arches back, but doesn’t fall down. Skywolf takes this as a personal challenge and winds up, slamming the chair straight into his face and knocking him flat on his back. Finally dropping the chair in the middle of the ring, Skywolf looks out at the fans around ringside who don’t seem to know how to react, then down at the two unconscious men at his feet. A look of disgust and anger on his face, he walks forward and exits the ring without a word, while the referee calls for help from the back. Security and paramedics run past Skywolf, giving him a wide berth, as he purposefully walks up the ramp and disappears out of view.
Phoenix: I hope this is the last we’ve seen of this tonight, but I honestly don’t know right now. If I were Eddie Wolfbaine, I’d have eyes in the back of my head for the rest of the night!
Roberts: I think everyone should tonight. Skywolf just put the entire building on notice.
Inside the ring, paramedics assist Stone and Angel, while the camera cuts to the announce team at ringside.
Phoenix: The next edition of Storm Front will be interesting, that’s for sure. After what’s transpired tonight, I have no idea how the Board of Directors will deal with the actions of our General Manager.
Jeffrey: They should keep their noses out of this. He’s above the law! He IS the law!
Roberts: Goddamn it, Ray, he’s not Judge Dredd.
*~*
We cut backstage where we are joining none other than Zak E Justice and Nik Waverly! Both have braids and shades this week, and Zak has a sideways cap and a gold chain. People in the corridor roll their eyes at them when they pass.
Justice: Bro, I love that we're here live on PPV!
Waverly: Nah bro, this isn't a PPV, it's a SuperShow!
Justice: Of course! SuperShow for our Supergroup. We've gotta recruit someone today.
Justice walks into Waverly who had stopped in his tracks. Something caught Waverly's eye.
Waverly: B-Bro... bro... brooooo!
Justice: What?
Waverly: That guy man, he's so... bro! The shades, the hair, the look! He's gotta join our Supergroup.
The two of them approach the man and it's none other than - Carlos Starr!!
Waverly: Bro, how's it going, bro?
Starr looks at them for a moment, then breaks into a wide grin at seeing how they are dressed.
Starr: Man, you guys look like the bomb!
Justice: Not man, bro - it's bro, you guys look like the bomb!
Starr: Bro?
Waverly: Bro.
Starr shakes both their hands.
Justice: Wanna join our supergroup?
Waverly: Yeah, you get to party, get loads of chicks, bro, and the best part - we have SO MUCH MONEY, bro.
Starr: Yeah, ma - - yeah bro, shit, I'll fucks with you.
Waverly and Justice look at each other quizzically, then look back at Starr amazed.
Justice: Bro, you have words of a wizard - we're gonna get along just fine!
Justice knuckle bumps Starr and the three of them continue down the corridor as we cut back to the ring for the next match!
Carson: The following contest is a VIETNAMESE KENDO STICK match and is scheduled for one fall! In this match there are no disqualifications, no countouts, and use of Kendo Sticks is legal!
The camera shows a barrel of water outside of the ring, and inside the barrel is about twelve thick, brutal-looking Vietnamese Kendo Sticks. "Numb" by Linkin Park hits the PA system.
Carson: Introducing first now residing in Helston, England, weighing in at 14 stone, PHIL ... MCGROIN!!
Phil McGroin makes it down to the ring with Camera Man. McGroin has a sort of somber look on his face as if he has something heavy on his mind as he makes his way into the ring.
"Human" by Rag'n'Bone Man hits the PA system. Boos break out for the arrival of the man known as Glock 9, black trench coat and all.
Carson: On his way to the ring, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he stands at 6'6, and he is known as... GLOCK NINE!!
Glock 9 makes his way confidently down to the ring. He sneers at the fans as he passes, making sure none of them can reach him. He takes his time as he strolls up to the ropes, does the leg-over climb into the ring, takes off his trench coat, walks a few paces around, then leans on the ropes and beckons for his opponents. While he waits, he shouts some unintelligible venom to the most raucous of the front row.
As Glock Nine confronts his challenger, Phil McGroin grabs a microphone.
McGroin: Glock, just wait a minute - over the last month I've been doing a lot of thinking, mate.. I wasn't happy where my life was going so I - I'VE FOUND GOD!
Jeffrey: WHAT?!? How inspiring!
Roberts: Don't be so naive, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Don't be so Roberts, Roberts - and shut the hell up!
Phil McGroin gets down to his knees and clasps his hands together. He prays and begs for Glock Nine to find forgiveness and walk out without this match. Glock Nine, looks at him, grovelling and begging, and turns away to the ropes as he laughs to himself hysterically. At this moment, Camera Man slides in a sopping wet Kendo Stick from the barrel to McGroin, who picks it up - and SMASHES Glock Nine in the back from behind. The referee rings the bell!
Phoenix: Well, we're underway - and McGroin decided to take the easy road to start this match!
Jeffrey: I think you mean, the smart road, Scott.
McGroin wallops Glock Nine two more times and the welts start to appear on Glock's back. Phil McGroin goes for a fourth Kendo Stick shot, but Glock manages to low-blow McGroin before he has the chance and he drops the Kendo Stick! McGroin groans in agony as Glock Nine starts to get to his feet. Glock grabs the kendo stick and looks to hit McGroin with it, but McGroin sees this and rolls out of the ring.
Glock followed McGroin with the stick in hand. He leans over the top rope to get a hold of McGroin's hair of something - when suddenly, a white fog emerges from McGroin to Glock and Glock stumbles back, clutching his eyes!
Phoenix: What was that?
Jeffrey: I think McGroin just blinded Glock with salt!
Jeffrey's theory is confirmed when McGroin pulls out from under the apron a huge bag of salt. He picks it up and heads over to the barrell - he then pours the remainder of the salt in the barrel and uses one of the kendo sticks to swirl the water.
Roberts: What was the point in that?
Jeffrey: Roberts, you dull bastard, he just made the water salt water!
McGroin pulls out the kendo stick and rolls back into the ring, still holding his balls with one hand in pain. Glock wipes the salt out of his eyes as best he can but not before McGroin cracks him across the head with the kendo stick! McGroin laughs and lifts the kendo stick up to a chorus of boos and then hits Glock in the back! McGroin resorts to stomping Glock a couple times before hitting Glock once again with the stick across the back. Glock's back in now bleeding, and the salt water is only making it more painful as he groans in agony. Glock lifts his head to reveal he's been busted open too!
Jeffrey: What an amazing display by McGroin! The Glock seems to be done for!
Roberts: It's true we've never seen Glock in this position before!
McGroin grabs Glock and takes him out with a DDT and hooks the leg! 1...2...NO! Glock kicks out! Phil McGroin stays on the offence picking up Glock and setting him up, hitting the swinging neckbreaker! McGroin hooks the leg again! 1...2...NO! Glock still kicks out! McGroin rolls out of the ring and lifts the apron, pulling out a table and setting it up on the outside. He then gets back into the ring and hits Glock with the kendo stick again across the back! Glock struggles to his feet, using the ropes to get up. McGroin puts the stick in front of him, like a kendo stick clothesline and runs at Glock to knock him over the top rope and into the table below, but Glock lifts his foot and kicks McGroin in the face!
Phoenix: Glock's got some fight left in him still!
Glock picks up Phil McGroin and throws him into the corner of the ring! Glock then runs at McGroin and hits him with a Stinger Splash! McGroin stumbles out, Glock picks up the kendo stick and CRACKS IT ACROSS McGroin's head!! McGroin goes down like a sack of shit and at that moment, Camera Man, having abandoned the camera and taken his own kendo stick from the barrell, runs in and smashes Glock across the back! Glock winces and stumbles, but recovers quickly, and turns around and punches Camera Man straight in the fact! He pushes Camera Man to the ropes and then Glock takes him out with a massive clothesline sending him crashing to the outside by the ramp!
Phoenix: What a brutal crash by Camera Man!
Roberts: Serves him right for getting involved!
Glock Nine picks up the kendo stick much to the pleasure of the crowd who start chanting "GLOOOOCK'S GONNA KILL YOU!". Glock wastes no time in letting rip, UNLEASHING shot after shot with the Kendo Stick on McGroin's back. After the fifth shot, he draws blood, after the eleventh, McGroin's back is in tatters!!
Roberts: This is gruesome!!
Glock Nine decides enough is enough and he picks up Phil McGroin, lifts him up over his shoulder! He runs forward - and releases McGroin - WITH AN AWESOME BOMB TO THE TABLE ON THE OUTSIDE!! McGroin crashes and burns and doesn't move, collapsed in a heap. The crowd break into "HOLY SHIT" chants as Glock Nine rolls out, picks up McGroin fron the shattered remains of the table, throws him back in the ring, gets back in and hooks the leg of a lifeless McGroin! The referee counts!
1....2....3!!!
Carson: Here is your winner, GLOCK ... NINE!!
Glock Nine gets to his feet, wipes the blood out of his eyes, and lifts both arms roaring. Then he "shoots" a hollowtip bullet with his hands and leaves the ring, nursing his wounds.
Phoenix: My god, what a savage beating!
Jeffrey: There's only one Glock Nine - and I'm not sure if anyone can stop him here in 4CW!
Roberts: McGroin is probably gonna need medical attention! He was annihilated!
*~*
We cut backstage to the GM office, where Lord Skywolf, who apparently isn't having a good day, is stewing when the door opens... The camera pans behind the person and you see long nappy hair walk into the frame.
Skywolf: Sigh... what the hell do you want? Didn't they fire you and replace you with me?
: "A man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth." - Oscar Wilde
Skywolf: What the hell is that supposed to mean?
Skywolf continues to write some stuff on a notepad not looking up at the figure.
: "As an actor we spend so much putting the mask on and trying to be someone you're not." - Russell Hornsby
Skywolf looks up shaking his head back and forth
Skywolf: Oh it's you, what the hell do you want?
: Actually, if you've been paying attention, I'm the assistant to the GM. And I think I have a way to improve one of your matches tonight.
Skywolf looks up, shaking his head.
Skywolf: Stacey's my assistant. And when Stacey's busy, it's Meryl. But if my wife asks it's David.
: "It's a terrible thing to be alone, yes it is, it is, but don't lower your mask until you have another mask prepared beneath as terrible as you like, but a mask"
Skywolf: So you're saying you want a tag match tonight? If I give it to you will you shut up and stop bothering me?
You can see the wig bob up and down from behind in a yes motion.
: "Virtue has a veil, vice a mask." - Victor Hugo
Skywolf: Alright, you got it, whatever you want, just close the door and get that camera man out of here!
The person reached up to the top of his head, and pulls this nappy wig down, you can see a blonde stripe streaking down the side of their hair, a hand reaches out, and closes the doors. We cut back to the ring where the Triple Cage is being lowered!
Phoenix: It's almost time! The moment we've been waiting for. The triple cage match that Sery spent so much time raising funds for.
Jeffrey: Its all going to be for nothing, Sery is going to get squashed like a bug in there. Paige is on a mission and Paige is going to massacre Sery. Sery will be lucky to walk out on his own two feet!
The cage finishes lowering and Michael Carson stands in the middle of the ring with a microphone in hand.
Carson: The following is a Triple Cage match for the 4CW Custom Cup championship! I've been instructed to tell you that this match has been brought to you by SeryShop.com, where you can get all your seryous Sery needs. The rules are as followed. The two competitors will climb through each story of the cage to grab the belt. The person who grabs the belt must make their way back through the cage and escape the cage to win the match. To get to the second story you must climb a ladder and enter through the opening. To get to the third story you must climb a rope ladder. To get to the belt you must exit the third cage out the door and climb to the top where the belt is hanging.
The arena lights go out as well as the 4CWtron. Everything is left pitch black as a layer of thick purpler fog begins to spread out on the stage and down the ramp. A small violet flame flickers in mid-air, momentarily giving us a glance at a woman's face. Suddenly she blows the flame out. Where she'd been standing, a deep violet firework ascends out of the darkness and explodes overhead, creating a starburst pattern. "The Astral Dialogue" by Agalloch blares through the PA system. Paige appears through the fog, wearing a black leather trenchcoat over her ring attire.
Carson: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Newfoundland, Canada and now residing on... The DAAARK Side of the MOOOON... weighing in at 134 pounds... PILGRIIIM PAAAIIIGE!
Pilgrim Paige takes in her surroundings as she makes her way through the fog and down towards the massive cage. When she gets to the cage she looks up. She grabs onto some of the mesh on the cage and shakes it testing its sturdiness. Paige enters the cage through the door and slides into the ring. She removes her coat and hands it to a stage hand at ringside. Paige stands in the middle of the ring and spread her arms wide and throws her head back. The light returns to normal.
Phoenix: This is the moment Pilgrim Paige has been waiting for. She says Sery is no match for her and he's weak. Its now or never for the Lunar Pilgrim!
Jeffrey: I expect this match to be over real quick. Paige is going to make quick work of Sery and climb through that cage. We're gonna have a new champion!
The crowd goes silent then all of a sudden a pyro goes off on the stage and "Red Flag" by Billy Talent roars through the arena. Sery bursts out through the curtain sporting red trunks and a T-Shirt with Sery's head on it. Sery is pushing a cart of random merchandise in it.
Carson: Making his way to the ring weighing in at 153 pounds, from Antigo, Wisconsin. The current 4CW Custom Cup champion! SERY!!!!!!!
Sery pushes the cart down the isle taking random items out. Sery tosses a Sery brand stuffed teddy bear into the crowd, Sery takes another item out of the cart and hands a kid a Sery bobble head. Sery gives some lucky fan at ring side a whole case of overstocked Supreme toilet paper. Sery continues handing out various items like the T-Shirt off his back, Key Chains, Sery Wigs, Sery Underwear, and Sery Brand Deoderant until the cart is empty. Sery is down by the cage now and he looks up. He repeats the same ritual Paige did by grasping the mesh on the cage testing the sturdiness. Sery walks into the cage and slides into the ring. Sery notices Paige glaring at him from one corner. Sery goes top stand on the turnbuckle, but thinks better of it, knowing not to turn his back. Sery and Paige meet in the middle of the ring and face off. Both take notice of the two ladders set up on the outside of the ring.
Roberts: You gotta know the Coven has to be on the back of Sery's mind. He's had his handsful with Paige and The Coven for the last few months. But this cage should provide a sense of security also. It'll be just the two alone in the cage, battling it out.
Jeffrey: I can't wait for this. Paige is going to whip Sery all around that ring. Sery is going to regret ever stepping foot inside.
Sery and Paige are standing face to face in the middle of the ring when Paige wastes no time hitting Sery in the chest with a flurry of chops that send Sery back into the ropes. Paige takes Sery by the hand and throws him into the opposite ropes and Sery comes running back where Paige leap frogs over Sery. Sery keeps his momentum going and baseball slides to the outside of the ring. Sery goes to unfold of one of the ladders and picks it up where Paige comes and lands a baseball slide right into the ladder that sends the ladder crashing to the ground and Sery crashing into the cage. Paige lays into Sery with a few punches then takes him by the hand and whips him into one of the ring posts. Sery collapses to the ground on the impact. Paige smirks.
Roberts: She's smirking like this is how she thought this was going to play out!
Jeffrey: Sery's toast. Why would he go for the ladder when Paige is still standing? Short sighted.
Paige stalks over Sery and rips him to his feet by his long bushy blonde hair. She holds Sery by the head and throws him head first into the cage wall. Sery staggers back when Paige grabs him by the head again and starts to rake his face into the mesh. While Sery screams as Paige rubs his head back and forth on the steel mesh Paige starts to yell. "YOU'RE WEAK SERY! YOU'RE NOTHING!" Sery starts to gush blood already and Paige stops the onslaught. She looks at the fallen ladder on the ground and takes Sery over by it and then brings him crashing right onto the ladder with a snap suplex. Sery grimaces and holds his back as Paige moves him off the ladder and slides the ladder into the ring.
Jeffrey: That a girl Paige! Go for the second story!
Roberts: Perfect strategy from the Lunar Pilgrim, taking Sery out on the outside, leads for safe passage to the second cage!
Paige looks up at the hole that leads to the next cage and sets the ladder up right underneath it. She starts to climb the ladder and is nearly to the top when Sery suddendly appears the ring apron, he uses the ropes to propel him into the air then springboards off the top rope and takes the ladder out from under Paige's feet with a drop kick. Paige goes crashing to the floor and Sery is quick to get to his feet. Sery doesn't waste much time running to the ropes and springboarding off doing a flip in midair to land a moonsault right onto Paige. Sery brings Paige up by her hair and knees her in the gut then puts her head between his thighs and attempts to lift her up for a powerbomb. He gets her up for the power bomb but Paige is there to fight him back with a bunch of fists to the face. Paige uses the distraction to reverse the move into a nice huricanrana. Sery gets up real quick and Paige runs at him and Sery hits an arm drag. Both are up to their feet, Sery runs at Paige and Sery gets hit with a arm drag. Both get up and Paige goes for a kick but Sery ducks it and pulls her to the mat for a school boy out of instinct, but realizes he can't pin in this match.
Roberts: Sery forgetting where he is at! Out of instict he goes for a pin.
Jeffrey: I just think hes pretty dumb.
Sery quickly gets to his feet and before Paige can get to hers he starts laying into her with a fury of stomps. Sery thinking he has Paige right where he wants her grabs the ladder and sets it up again to begin his journey. Sery is on the fourth run when Paige gets up and levels him in the back with a forearm. Sery uses his feet to kick Paige away then leaps off the ladder and hooks her head in mid air and takes her out with a DDT. Sery looks to the ladder again but doesn't want to risk it. He grabs Paige by the legs and flips her over and hooks her into a double legged boston crab.
Phoenix: Smart move! If Paige doesn't have her legs, she can't climb to get the belt!
Jeffrey: Smart and Sery should never be used in the same sentence.
Sery has it locked in for what seems like a full minute when Paige finally musters up the strength to use her body weight to twist her body and send Sery flying to the ground. Sery gets up and Paige gets up, Sery tries to grab her neck for a neckbreaker but Paige sends Sery flying into the ropes. Sery turns around when Paige grabs Sery and brings him down to the mat with the Astral Connection (Scissored DDT). Paige brings doesn't waste any time, she unfolds the ladder and leans it up against the turnbuckle. She picks up Sery and irish whips him into the ladder. Sery's body goes crashing onto the ladder and is lying prone against the ladder. Paige follows by launching herself onto Sery with a crossbody right into the ladder and Sery's body lands on the mat. Paige stands over Sery's body and throws her arms into the air and whips her head back signalling her triumph over the Seryous one.
Roberts: The message is clear from Pilgrim Paige, she has Sery right where she wants him.
Jeffrey: Ok, Captain Obvious!
Sery gets brought to his feet by Pilgrim Paige and she takes him by the head and goes to throw him over the top rope to the outside of the ring. Sery manages to grab one of the ropes though and tries to skin the cat by pulling himself up over the ropes but Paige runs into the other ropes and comes sprinting back then leaps into the air connecting with Sery's chest with a drop kick that sends Sery crashing to the floor on the outside. Sery looks lifeless on the outside of the ring as Paige makes quick work of setting up the ladder. She starts to make her way up when Sery starts to pull himself to his feet on the outside using the cage. Paige ascends down the ladder again not wanting to risk Sery pushing her off and comes sprinting at the ropes and leaps over attempting a crossbody to the outside by Sery dives out of the way and Paige goes crashing into the side of the steel cage. Both competitors lay lifeless on the outside on the mats.
Roberts: Paige was trying to take Sery out for good yet again! But Sery is known for his resilency and he dove out of the way.
Jeffrey: I say its luck. C'mon Paige get to your feet!
Sery is the first to his feet and he suddenly becomes aware of his surroundings again and rolls into the ring and starts to climb up the ladder. Sery using all his strengthly slowly ascends to the hole to the second cage rung by rung as Paige begins to stir on the outside. Sery is almost to the top when Paige gets a burst of energy and slides into the ring and climbs up the other side of the ladder. Paige hits Sery with a punch and Sery responds with a punch of his own. Both competitors sit at the top of the ladder slugging it out, trading bunches. Paige grabs Sery by the head and slams his face into the ladder. Paige reaches up to climb to the second story but Sery hits her again preventing her from climbing. Paige is able to lay a fury of forearms into Sery's head. Sery falls down a few rungs and Paige is able to get herself to the second story of the cage.
Roberts: Paige is the first into the second cage! She'll have first access to all the weapons in the cage.
Jeffrey: If she even has to!
Paige looks around the cage noticing a table leaning up against the side, two steel chairs hanging from the top of the cage, a weird box in one of the corners, a kendo stick, and a garbage can. Sery regains his composure and starts to climb through the hole himself. Sery accidentally tips the ladder but is able to pull himself to the second cage himself. Paige selects her weapon, she grabs one of the steel chairs, and as Sery is pulling himself to his feet she whacks him right over the head. Sery staggers back and gets another whack to the head with the chair!
Jeffrey: Thats a fine!
Roberts: I don't think Paige cares.
Paige unfolds the chair then goes and grabs Sery, she attempts to back body drop him through the chair when Sery flips over and is at her back. Sery grabs Paige by the head hooks it and brings her down with a DDT right through the chair. Sery quickly brings himself to his feet and sets his eyes on the box in the middle of the ring. He walks over to the box and unhooks the latches and takes out the contents. Sery jumps back in shock and fear and drops the item. The item is the human femur!!!
Jeffrey: That's Paige's specialty! The human femur!
Roberts: Sery looks like he's just seen a ghost!
Sery takes a second to go close and to examine the item but then goes crashing into the side of the cage. Paige got up and hit him with a big drop kick. Paige quickly grabs the human femur as Sery turns around and staggers back towards her and she wallops him over the head with it. Sery is staggering when Paige winds up again and hits Sery in the head again! Paige drops the femur then take Sery and takes him by the head and throws him straight into the cage head first. Sery goes crashing to the floor and Paige looks around her surroundings and sets her eyes on the table.
Roberts: This isn't going to be good for Sery.
Jeffrey: Paige has her eyes on that table. This could end it.
Paige grabs the table and sets it up the brings Sery to his feet by then tries to suplex him through the table but Sery floats over and manages to jump over the table. Sery and Paige stare at each other with the table in between them when Sery leaps into the air and drop kicks the table into Paige's gut. Sery hops on top of the table and leaps off, he hooks Paige's head with his legs and sends her into the side of the cage with a huricanrana. Sery is up he points at the rope ladder.
Phoenix: Sery making his intentions clear here. He's going up!
Jeffrey: Get up PAIGE! GET YOUR ASS UP!
Sery starts to climb the rope ladder but Paige get to her feet and staggers her way to the rope ladder and grabs Sery's foot and pulls it through one of the rungs. Paige lays a few forearms into Sery's face and Sery falls backwards on the ladder and hangs from the ladder with his leg holding him onto the rope ladder. Sery keeps squirming when Paige grabs a steel chair and lays into Sery with the steel chair as Sery dangles there defenseless. Paige whackes him not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 times with the steel chair!! Until Sery finally falls off of the rope ladder.
Phoenix: 5 brutal chair shots. Sery must be seeing stars!
Jeffrey: He's going to be lucky to remember any of this!
Suddenly, Dirk Meyer shuffles down the ramp and to the Triple Cage. He shakes it, then shakes his head disapprovingly, then decides to pull out some duct tape from his trunks and wrap it around the corner of the cage. He shakes it again, apparently happy with it's sturdiness this time, gives a thumbs up, then shuffles back up the ramp again.
Phoenix: Well that was... something.
Jeffrey: Dirk's just making sure this cage is secure dammit!
Paige throws the steel chair down and hovers over Sery then grabs a fistful of his hair and brings him to his feet. Paige takes Sery by the hand and whips him into the cage! But instead of crashing into the cage Sery runs up it and does a flip. Paige surprised at this responds by charging at Sery, Sery hits a kick to the gut. Sery goes behind Paige and lifts her into the air and sends her crashing through the table with a back body drop!!! Sery gets to his feet and lunges himself into the rope ladder and starts to pull himself up to the third cage rung by rung.
Roberts: Sery is on his way to the third cage!!!
Jeffrey: BUT IT LOOKS LIKE HE HAS COMPANY!!!!!!!
Sery is in the third cage and he exits the door and starts to climb the third cage. But Jeffrey was right. Tsukiko and Hazel are climbing the first cage from the outside! They make quick work of the first cage and start onto the second cage. Sery is on the top of the third cage by now and he reaches up and grabs the belt. Sery doesn't notice the two climbing the second cage as Sery starts to make his way back down the third cage. As Sery scales down the third cage down to the roof of the second cage, Sery is mauled by Tsukiko and Hazel.
Jeffrey: HERE THEY ARE TO SAVE THE DAY!!!
Roberts: I don't think Sery even saw them coming.
Sery is on the floor while Hazel and Tsukiko stomp the hell out of Sery. Tsukiko takes Sery by the head rips him to his feet and starts to rack his head into the side of the third cage. Meanwhile Paige is finally scaling the rope ladder to get into the third cage and finally gets up to the third level. Sery starts fighting back on the outside. He takes Tsukiko and throws her head first into the cage. Hazel tries to stop Sery but she eats a super kick from the seryous one. Sery picks up the Custom Cup belt and turns around to start climbing down when Paige is standing right there and blows the mist right into Sery's face. Sery covers his eyes and is blinded, letting the belt drop to the floor. Paige hits Sery with a forearm to the face and another and another. Sery is backing up and up closer to the ledge of the cage!
Roberts: Sery is getting awfully close to the edge! He better be careful.
Jeffrey: I don't think he can see anything!!!
Sery starts to fight back and hits Paige in the face with a right hand. Paige responds with a right hand of her own. Sery fires back. Paige knees Sery in the stomach and grabs him by the head and throws Sery straight off the cage! Sery goes crashing into the announcers tables and instantly there is little to no movement out of the seryous one!
Roberts: Sery just got tossed from the cage and landed right in front of us! We need some help out here.
Jeffrey: This isn't a joke, get some EMTS OUT HERE! NOW!!!
Sery's lifeless body lays in the wreckage of the announcers table as Paige looks down and laughs in pride over what shes done. Paige goes and grabs the 4CW Custom Cup championship and goes to the opposite end and scales down the cage with the belt around her waist! Paige hits the floor and we have a new Custom Cup Champion!
Roberts: We have a new champion! What a match! Sery left it all in that cage and may have suffered many career ending injuries trying to keep that belt.
Jeffrey: Its a new era in 4CW! Moonlight Madness is going to be running wild over us! We have a new champ!!
The rest of the Coven are now on the floor with Paige on the top of the ramp celebrating their win holding the championship high in the air. The EMTs are attending to Sery. They have him on a stretcher and are wheeling him up the ramp. As a sign of good will, Sery holds one thumb up into the air as they cart him off.
*~*
Phoenix: Well, we've had a hell of a Storm Front tonight! This special SummerFest show has been thrilling from the start and we are pleased to announce we'll be doing this next year!
Jeffrey: If all SummerFests are as good as this one, I look forward to it! But now it's time for our triple threat between Supreme, Jacob Scharff and Senecca!
Carson: Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to announce a change to the following match. It is no longer a triple threat, it is now a tag team match!
Phoenix: Tag match? What?
Jeffrey: Maybe this has something to do with that freak in the GM office earlier?
"His World" by Crush 40 hits the PA system and out comes The Thunderbolt! He comes out in a yellow hoodie, emblazoned on the back with a blue lightning bolt and makes a lightning bolt in the air with chops before heading to the ring.
Carson: Introducing first, now residing in Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 260lbs ... JACOB ... THE THUNDERBOOOOLT ... SCHARFF!!
Jacob Scharff gets into the ring and awaits his opponent-turned-partner. The lights in the arena turn to black as the mellow piano intro of Avenged Sevenfold's "Nightmare" starts to play over the P.A. system. As each ping of the opening instrumental pierces through the hushed arena, small flashes of lights are triggered—one after another—each one appearing in tandem with the press of each individual key. As the drums kick in hot and heavy, the lights all flash—brilliantly bright and in rapid motion, always keeping up with the pummeling drumbeat—before abruptly dying out again. As the word "Nightmare!" rips through the awaiting crowd, the lights come on full blast and Supreme is standing at the top of the entry way, with arms stretched out in anticipation of loud boos from the crowd. He saunters down to the ring as the song's verse pounds out through the speakers.
Carson: And introducing his partner... Hailing from Supremeville, USA... he wants to be referred to as "The Best Damn Thing to Ever Happen to Pro Wrestling". He is a former 2-time Custom Cup Champion; a former Tag Team Champion; a former 4CW World Heavyweight Champion; and a proud 4CW Hall of Faaamerrr! Weighing in tonight at 240lbs... ladies and gentlemen, please welcome… SUUUPREEEME!!!!!
Jacob Scharff rolls his eyes at the announcer listing off Supreme's achievements (to Supreme's request, of course). Supreme jogs up the ring steps and onto the apron, walking along with arms outstretched and hands gesturing inward to welcome the chorus of boos and jeers from many 4CW fans. He gets into the ring and looks at Scharff for a moment, before turning his attention to their opponents.
Phoenix: Well we know Senecca is one of the opponents, but who is the other?
Carson: And their opponents...
The lights go black and four spotlights begin searching through the crowd. The screen lights up with a parental warning...
The following wrestler is not suitable for all ages
There will be Blood
There will be Violence
There will be no Supreme or Jacob Scharff
Parental discretion is advised...
Rihanna's voice comes blaring through the speakers...
Mooo la la lah...
Bitch betta have my...
Mooo la la lah...
Bitch betta have my money...
As soon as Rihanna says the word money all four spotlights converge on the entrance ramp as Senecca stands there looking out at the crowd.
Bitch betta have my money...
Pyro goes off on either side of him as dollars begin to fall from the ceiling into the crowd.
Pay me what you we me...
Carson: First, making his way to the ring, weighing in at three hundred and thirty pounds, originally from Cleveland, Ohio... now hailing from Vallhalla... Senecca!
Senecca starts walking down the ramp to the ring. as he makes it to the steps he pauses to look up at the ring and makes his way up the steps nonchalantly. As he gets to the top he casually leans against the turnbuckle post and looks out at the audience. He shifts his arms as if he's going to open up his ring jacket then smirks and climbs in through the middle rope.
Kamikaze if you think that you gon' knock me off the top
Shit, your wife in the backseat of my brand new foreign car
Don't act like you forgot, I call the shots, shots, shots
Like brrap, brrap, brrap
As soon as "brrap, brrap, brrap" is said pyro goes off in the ring like a gunshot and Senecca opens his ring jacket as he gives a cocky smirk to the camera. The camera goes back to the ramp for Senecca's partner.
"Ding Dong Song" by Gunther hits the PA system and out comes none other than ... DIRK MEYER! He comes out on stage to a big pop from the crowd. In the ring, Senecca raises his brow and Dirk Meyer makes his way down to the ring.
Carson: And his partner, now residing in Oshkosh-Neenah, Wisconsin, weighing in at 240lbs, DIRK ... MEYER!!
Meyer gets down to the ring and gets in, shaking hands with his partner Senecca.
Phoenix: S&M! They are reunited once more!
Roberts: I thought Senecca would be mad at the fact Dirk Meyer accidentally cost him the Universal Title at Revival - but it seems like they have put their differences aside and are teaming up right now!
Jeffrey: Well, they came out seperately - so if they were reunited, why wouldn't they come out together?
The referee gets both teams in their corners and Dirk Meyer starts the match with Jacob Scharff as the ref signals for the bell. Meyer and Scharff clash in the middle of the ring with a grapple and Scharff gets the upper hand and pushes Meyer away. Meyer gets to his feet and clashes with Scharff again. They struggle for a bit, then Scharff pushes him away again. On the third attempt, Meyer pushes Scharff a couple of steps out, but then he gets pushed back again. Senecca, seeing this several times, decides to tag himself in.
Phoenix: Senecca vs Scharff, here we go!
They clash in the middle and Scharff puts up a good effort but this time he is pushed away. Scharff jumps back to his feet and Senecca knocks him down with a sharp clothesline. Scharff gets back up but is clotheslined again. Senecca picks up the smaller (but still bulky) man and throws him into the corner of the ring. Senecca barges his shoulder into Scharff's gut and then tags in Meyer. Meyer whips Scharff into the opposite corner and then runs at him and hits a dropkick. Supreme tags himself in as Scharff grimaces and Supreme and Meyer lock up.
Supreme locks Meyer into a side headlock and wrenches at Dirk's head. Dirk struggles at first but then uses his elbow to gain some space between him and Supreme. He sends Supreme to the ropes, but Supreme ducks a clothesline and hits Meyer with a DDT. Supreme picks up Meyer and sets him up for a German Suplex. He hits it - but Meyer lands on his feet - and tags in Senecca!
Phoenix: S&M showing some good team work here!
Jeffrey: The biggest and most dangerous man in the ring is legal!
Senecca picks up Supreme and man handles him with a body slam and then a big splash! Senecca hooks the leg. The ref counts. 1...2... no! Supreme kicks out stubbornly! Senecca continues the offence, picking up Supreme and hitting him with a Sidewalk Slam, before hooking the leg again. 1...2...NO! Supreme again kicks out! Senecca shakes the ropes to get the crowd pumped up and then picks up Supreme one more time. He lifts him up on his shoulder, with an attempt at The Dark Plunge! But Supreme shakes off Senecca and lands on his feet, hoisting Senecca from behind with a HUGE German Suplex! Supreme hooks the leg! ONE... TWO... NO!! Senecca kicks out!
Phoenix: For a moment, I thought Supreme had him!
Jeffrey: For a moment, so did I!
Senecca struggles to get to his feet but Supreme is ready to pounce and grabs Senecca, impressing even further with a HUMONGOUS belly-to-belly suplex! Supreme once again hooks the leg. ONE... TWO... TH--NO! Senecca is still kicking! Supreme decides to stomp the hell out of Senecca's ankle a few times. He then pulls Senecca to the ropes, puts his ankle on the bottom rope, and stomps on it again! Supreme grabs Senecca's ankle but Senecca kicks him away and struggles back to his feet. Senecca tries to lift Supreme for some sort of power slam but the pain in his ankle is too fresh and he buckles. Supreme lands on his feet, goes to the ropes, and comes back with a dropkick to Senecca's face!
Supreme grabs Senecca by the ankle again and this time locks in the Ankle Lock!! Supreme wastes no time and grapevines the hold!!
Phoenix: Supreme has the ankle lock and he has it in good!
Roberts: Senecca may have to tap right here!!
Senecca screams in agony as his ankle is torqued further. He tries to reach the ropes but to no avail. He tries to move himself but doesn't make much progress. Then, he uses all his strength to try and turn around. Still with his ankle contorted, Senecca uses his other foot to boot Supreme in the face! Supreme takes the first two shots without much trouble, but the third cracks his nose and he release the hold, clutching his now bloody nose. Senecca crawls towards his partner! Dirk Meyer stretches his arm over the ropes! Senecca inches closer and the crowd get louder and louder!! Senecca gets up to a knee and makes a final attempting leap to tag in Meyer - AND MEYER JUMPS DOWN FROM THE APRON!!
Phoenix: What? What is Dirk doing?!
Senecca looks wide-eyed in the ring as Dirk Meyer walks up the ramp without so much as looking back. Supreme tags in Scharff and Scharff picks up the injured Senecca. Senecca fights back and picks up Scharff but again his ankle gives and Scharff sets up Senecca - hitting the THUNDER DROP!!
Phoenix: Jacob Scharff calls that Olympic Slam the Thunder Drop!! It's gotta be over!!
Scharff pins Senecca and the referee counts. ONE... TWO.... THREE!!
Carson: Here are your winners, SUPREME and JACOB ... SCHARFF!!
Supreme seems happy with his win and nods in approval to Scharff before leaving and Scharff celebrates with the crowd before leaving too. They both head up the ramp and into the back leaving Senecca alone in the ring. Then, the crowd boo as Dirk Meyer runs back out to the ring!!
Jeffrey: Dirk's back!
Dirk Meyer slides into the ring. He climbs the top rope, looking down at his fallen partner - and HITS THE PLUNGE DIVING HEADBUTT!!
Phoenix: Meyer adding insult to injury! This is awful!
Jeffrey: Meyer is sending a message and I think it got delivered loud and clear!
Dirk Meyer heads back up the ramp to a chorus of boos as we cut to commercial.
*~*
We come back from commercial and the Hard Knocks Life structure beings to ascending with ominous music!
Phoenix: It's time ladies and gentlemen for our main event! It's a Hard Knocks Life match for the 4CW World Championship!
Roberts: How the hell did they get that structure and the triple cage up there?!
Jeffrey: That's easy Roberts, we're not real.
Roberts: What?
Jeffrey: Shut up, Roberts!
Phoenix: And now it's time, we go to Carson for the introductions!
The camera cuts to the ring announcer outside of the ring and away from the structure, as he is at the bottom of the ramp.
Carson: It's now time for the MAIN EVENT of the evening, the Hard Knocks Life match! Now in this match, the ring is surrounded by a steel cell with BARBED WIRE wrapped around the turnbuckles. Four tables surround the ring and one ladder is placed under the ring. Pinfalls and submissions don't count, and there are no DQs. THE ONLY WAY to win is a competitor must use the ladder to climb through the door on the roof of the cell and climb down to the floor outside the cell. Whoever does this will be the 4CW World Champion!
"The Burden" by Bury Tomorrow hits the PA system and to a huge pop from the crowd comes the Number One Contender Rhys Cain!
Carson: Introducing first, the challenger, now residing in Tampa, Florida, weighing in at 220lbs ... THE BRUISER ... RHYS ... CAIN!!
Rhys Cain makes his way down the ramp with a determination. He doesn't take his eyes of the structure, but he does slap a few hands on the way down the ramp.
Phoenix: Neither Rhys Cain nor his opponent Jon Viper have been in this type of match before! True, they have both been in some gruelling matches but this particular match is a first for both of them!
Jeffrey: If you thought what we'd seen tonight was brutal, it's about to get a whole lot worse.
Rhys Cain ducks under the gap allowed for the combatants to enter and slides into the ring. Unable to climb the turnbuckle, he instead goes to the ropes and "watches over" his sea of fans with a hand above his eyes, before beating his chest and jumping down. He hypes himself up in his corner while he awaits his opponent.
"Almost Honest" by Megadeth hits the PA system. The raucous crowd tear apart the atmosphere with a tidal wave of boos for the champion as he makes his way out onto the ramp.
Carson: And his opponent, from Madison, Wisconsin, weighing in at 220lbs, he is the 4CW World Heavyweight Champion ... JOOOOON ... VIPER!!
Viper comes down the ramp. He spits on the ramp and motions to a fan that's what he thinks of them and shouts some more obscenities as he makes his way down. A paper cup or two is thrown over but they miss Viper. He comes down to the bottom of the ring, stares a hole through Cain, and makes his way up on to the apron. Viper gets in the ring and the referee positions them in opposite sides of the ring.
Phoenix: This is it!
The referee calls for the bell.
Phoenix: Here we go!
There is no grapple or test of strength - both men fly into eachother with lefts and rights flying around wildly, and both hit the other with some good shots, but it's Cain who gets the initial advantage and he takes down Viper with a Lou Thesz Press! Cain grounds and pounds, hitting lefts after rights for a few seconds before finally getting off and stomping Viper in the gut twice. He picks up the champion and Irish whips him into the corner! Viper realises the barbed wire at the last moment and blocks him momentum by putting his hands on the ropes. Viper turns around - and is DROPKICKED directly into the barbed wire!!
Phoenix: Oh my god! This is already too much!
Jeffrey: It's disgusting what that little midget is doing to the greatest champ of all time, but it is within the nature of the match!
Viper rolls out of the corner, a couple of cuts forming on his back but lucky his head seems to have avoided major injury. Cain stays on the offense, picking up Viper and hitting him with a few uppercuts before taking him out with a clothesline! Viper rolls out of the ring to try and catch his breath, but Cain doesn't stick around and follows him out of the ring, grabbing Viper and slamming his face into the cell! Cain bashes Viper's head into the cell a couple more times before mashing his face against the mesh, tearing the skin on his forehead apart.
Phoenix: I know Cain can go to a dark place when he needs to - and it looks like Viper's gonna have to go there too to match Cain just like in TLC!
Cain elbows Viper in the face and puts him on one of the tables set up around the ring. Then, Cain climbs the top rope, and jumps off, with a big pop, and a FROG SPLASH to Viper through the table!! Both men cringe and wince at their pain on impact.
Roberts: That Frog Splash is enough to put anyone out of commission!
Cain lifts the apron and pulls out the ladder. He slides it into the ring and gets in himself, then lifts it and sets it up in the center of the ring. Cain starts to climb, steadily, up the ladder.
Phoenix: Viper had better hurry up and get to his feet! Cain is halfway up!
Cain reaches the top of the ladder and reaches up to unhook the Cell roof, which is half a foot above his head. The roof opens and Cain starts to think about how he is going to climb up and out - when suddenly, he grips to the ladder! Viper is back to his feet and in the ring, clutching his ribs!! Viper pushes the ladder over - and Cain SOARS - down and down - and THROUGH ANOTHER TABLE ON THE OUTSIDE!
Roberts: My god! I bet Cain is having flashbacks of their TLC match at Revival! He's just been destroyed by that drop!!
Jeffrey: The midget has been put down for good! Climb the ladder, Viper, come on!!
Viper grins and picks up the fallen ladder. He takes a moment to appreciate his handy work, Cain broken in the remnants of a table, then he lifts the ladder upright again. Viper begins to climb the ladder -not as quickly as Cain was, due to his earlier injuries, but he still makes progress slowly. Viper reaches four rungs up, then five, and on his sixth, Cain pops up, crawling up onto the apron to get back into the ring.
But he's not alone - he has a steel chair in hand! Viper climbs the seventh rung - and gets blasted in the back with the chair! Viper stumbles and on a second strike, falls down to the mat. Immediately, Cain's legs give way and he falls onto the ropes for support. He drops the ladder and tries to take deep breaths, putting the agony of the ladder drop out of his mind.
Cain grabs the steel chair again and hits Viper once again in the back, and then hits him a third time. Cain swings a fourth, Viper rolls out of the ring. Cain follows him, but Viper is ready and kicks the steel chair into Cain's face! Cain drops the chair and Viper strikes with some solid uppercuts before sending Cain face first into the cell! Viper then grabs Cain, pulls him away, and throws him into the cell again!
Phoenix: Viper is now getting the best of Cain!
Roberts: These two are ripping shreds out of each other!
Jeffrey: I wouldn't have it any other way!
Viper continues the onslaught by hitting Cain with a suplex on the hard floor! Cain arches his back in pain as he lands and Viper gets straight back up to stomp a few mud holes in The Bruiser. Viper throws Cain into the ring and follows him in. Viper picks up Cain, grabbing his face aggressively and pushes him towards the corner of the ring. Cain stops the momentum at the last moment and ends up face to face with the barbed wire turnbuckles using the ropes to stop himself from being rammed into it by Viper. Cain throws a rogue elbow and it catches Viper. Cain then reverses and tries to push Viper's bloody face into the barbed wire, but Viper isn't going to give in that easily and he drops a low blow!
Jeffrey: Viper putting down Cain in a way that's GUARANTEED to work every time!!
Cain collapses holding his groin as Viper grabs his head and viciously slams his face into the barbed wire turnbuckle!
Phoenix: My god! That was vicious!!
Roberts: Cain could be seriously hurt!
Jeffrey: Screw the midget! Viper, climb the ladder! Go! Go!
Viper seems to have heard Jeffrey's call as he re-positions the ladder and starts to climb! Viper makes it slowly up three rungs, four and five! Cain struggles on the ropes and his face is all bloody now. He seems to have a large gash above his eye which has swelled. Viper climbs rung six and seven, reaching the top while Cain is still crawling towards the ladder!
Phoenix: This is eerily similar to their TLC match! Cain couldn't make it up the ladder in time! Of course the ladder is only half of the battle here! You have to climb on the roof of the cell and climb down to the outside!
Roberts: But look at Cain's eye! How can you expect him to anything in that state!
Viper starts to lift himself up on to the cell roof as Cain climbs his second rung. Viper rolls onto the roof of the cell as Cain climbs the fifth rung. Viper rolls away from the roof as Cain begins to climb up. Viper, still exhausted from all the punishment, struggled to get to all fours as Cain rolls onto the cell roof also!
Jeffrey: Their both at the top!! Come on Viper, climb down dammit!
Roberts: Cain just needs to find some inner strength -
Jeffrey: Shut up Roberts!
Viper shakes the cobwebs off, as does Cain. Both are bloody, but Cain's eye looks like the worst injury sustained by either man. They see eachother and get to their feet and start throwing bloody lefts and rights at each other on the top of the cell! Cain sets up and hits the Side Effect on top of the cell after Viper misses a punch! They both lay there, exhausted, unable to move for the moment.
Roberts: I thought we'd seen the worst these two can go - but man, I don't know what's going to happen!
Jeffrey: Viper's gonna recover and CLIMB DOWN! COME ON VIPER!
Cain crawls towards the edge of the cell. He dangles his foot over and tries to find footing for the descent! Viper appears back on the scene though, and grabs Cain! He pulls Cain up by the hair and back onto the roof of the cell! Viper picks up Cain, Cain comes back with an elbow, Viper stumbles, Cain goes for a second Side Effect - but this time Viper elbows Cain in the ear and temple and reverses. Viper lifts Cain up onto his shoulders - and hits a GTS!! Cain collapses to the roof of the cell.
Phoenix: That could be it guys! Cain looks out of it!!
Viper reaches the edge of the cell and starts to climb down. Being careful not to fall he slowly makes his way down the cell. Out of nowhere, Cain is back!! Cain descends the cell too! Viper speeds up a little - but Cain is GAINING ON HIM - they are almost LEVEL - when VIPER DROPS OFF THE CELL! Viper falls at least ten feet and crashes hard!! Cain, resigned, climbs down one more foot and drops himself as "Almost Honest" blasts through the arena!!
Carson: Here is your winner, AND STILL, THE 4CW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... JON... VIPER!!
The referee comes around and hands the title to Jon Viper, who grabs it and crawls on all fours up the ramp, bloody and battered. Cain rests up against the cell, too exhausted to do anything else.
Phoenix: Over two matches these two have destroyed each other - but Jon Viper has decisively come out the victor on both occassions!
Jeffrey: Jon Viper is the World Champion and I think will be for a long time!
Roberts: Well he has his next title defence next month on Storm Front - vs the winner of the Stormchaser Tournament, Brian White!
Phoenix: Will he even be ready for such a formidable challenge after this war?
Viper finally gets to his feet up the top of the ramp and lifts the 4CW World Title up high. A couple doctors see to Cain as the graphic appears on the lower third.
Phoenix: Thanks for joining us for Storm Front SummerFest! Jon Viper retains the title! Goodnight!
