Rate-the-movie 8

Works the same as Rate-the-song. Rate from 1-10, 1 being horrible and 10 being brilliant. It's that simple. You can request one movie for the list at a time. So once you're movie goes on the Request List, you can't choose another til it's been posted as a Rate-the-movie. This rule is in place so I don't have a request list 100 films long and so no one person hogs the request list.

RTM 8: Marley and Me (Sery)

Marley & Me is a 2008 American comedy-drama film about the titular dog, Marley. It was directed by David Frankel and the screenplay by Scott Frank and Don Roos is based on the memoir of the same name by John Grogan. The film stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston as Marley's owners. Marley & Me was released in the United States and Canada on December 25, 2008, and set a record for the largest Christmas Day box office ever with $14.75 million in ticket sales. The film was followed by a 2011 direct-to-video prequel, Marley & Me: The Puppy Years.

The film opened on 3,480 screens in the US and Canada on December 25, 2008. It grossed $14.75 million on its first day of release, setting the record for the best Christmas Day box office take ever by surpassing the previous high of $10.2 million achieved by Ali in 2001 (the record was broken the following year by Sherlock Holmes).
