It's like Trips said, it's a rebuilding process. People forget NXT is development. When a bunch of stars get called up, then it takes a while to rebuild new stars.

They moved too many people up for the brand split. I get why they had to, but they went about it in the wrong way.
They'll bounce back though. They seem to do things right in NXT, they just need to build up a few more people and they'll be fine. It leaves me torn on whether I want Samoa Joe and Nakamura called up as that would weaken NXT even more, even though both deserve to be on the main roster.
I don't think it's as bad as people make out either. They still have (as of this writing) Nakamura, Joe, Roode, Strong, Sanity (which have all been pretty good), Revival, DIY, Asuka just off the top of my head. They could do a lot worse.

Apparently Trips won't be bringing Nakamura up to the main roster for a little while yet. Apparently he still has some things to work on before making the jump, and not necessarily his language skills.

Well, the main reason is because Joe will be called up first. Don't want to over saturate the main roster with too many stars at once. I could see Nakamura up on main by SummerSlam though.

Saturday's Takeover was probably the worst Takeover I've watched to this point. I'm not too shocked at it, the NXT talent pool really got raided once the brand split happened. What a shocker was it that Nakamura lost the belt though ehh? I didn't expect Roode to grab the belt that quick. How GLORIOUS.
