And the extensive tape library of course.

Thanks Taker_2004 for the banner!
The library is what they want. Show more of AJ, Joe, Storm, Roode, EY, etc etc
Ooh, forgot about the tape library. Makes more sense than stealing talent, which lets face it wouldn't be hard to steal away. Yeah, that would be one good thing to buy them out for. I wouldn't be interested in the newer shit, but old school TNA was just fun.
Ring of Honor have apparently made some bids for TNA as well. Unfortunately for them, if WWE are serious in wanting to buy TNA, then ROH have no change at competing with them financially on an offer.
WWE pretty much owns ROH now too, or at least ROH has made a lot of cheddar from them for footage of Punk, Rollins, and Bryan especially.
As noted, the New York Post reported over the weekend that WWE recently made an offer to purchase TNA Wrestling. On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed the story, while providing some new information.
According to Meltzer, WWE has made at least one offer to buy TNA, however their offer was "unofficial" and didn't take place anytime recently. Essentially, WWE's main interest is acquiring the tape library of the promotion.
It's worth noting that new TNA President Billy Corgan reportedly invested more money to acquire 30-percent ownership than WWE offered to buy the entire company.
The leading candidate to buy out the entire company right now appears to be Corgan. He hopes to acquire the company before their big "Bound For Glory" pay-per-view, which goes down on October 2nd.
Latest update on it.
You'd think that if TNA now get desperate for money, they could just sell their tape library to WWE. Would work out great for them both. Just can't see that happening, WWE have always seemed like an all or nothing company.
Cool thanks for the update. Excited to see what his supposed vision is.
Only reason they could want to do that is to nab some talent. Not all of them, but there are a fair few TNA guys that would do well in WWE. Seems a bit of a waste though, as I'd be surprised if TNA have them on huge contracts and wouldn't be difficult to steal them away with better money.
