Alberto Del Rio On When He'll Retire

“I want to become champion one more time, and there is one more title I would need to win in WWE to say, ‘I have won all the titles you have to win in this company’ which is the Intercontinental title," Del Rio said. "Once it’s done, I think I am ready to say goodbye to the sport."

"I think I have 3-5 more years in wrestling, and I am hoping I spend all those years in WWE."

3-5 years isn't too bad when you consider that 5 years is 2021. Nuts to think that the only title he's not won is the Intercontinental. I thought he'd won that already, but since he hasn't it'll be nice for him to win it before he does retire. Even if he wins it within the next year, then he can just enjoy wrestling and not think about that anymore.

Wish they'd take his character back to like he was when he debuted though. The scarf, the car, banging on about how rich he is... bring it back! That's the Del Rio character I'll remember when he retires and he's not been as entertaining since he stopped that character.
