Many fans noticed at the end of RAW that Titus appeared to get into a scuffle with Vince McMahon while a load of wrestlers were standing on stage to greet Daniel Bryan. Titus apparently grabbed McMahon in what looked like a playful manner and McMahon loses his shit and shoved him away.

Sources in WWE say that Vince was not happy to say the least and the decision was made to punish him - with a 90 day suspension, meaning he’ll miss WrestleMania and would be out of action until May.

You get less for failing two drug tests. Already seen some people joking "Titus wanted a push so Vince game him one".

This is mad. Titus has been a role model for the company and Vince is supposedly high on him. So it's surprising he suspended him so heavily. Seems like Titus just got caught up in the moment and Vince didn't appreciate it.

90 day suspension is crazy. Maybe a month suspension... If that! I don't think he should miss Mania because of THAT! It was a stupid thing for him to do, but still. I wonder if anything was said backstage though that maybe made this happen.

As noted, WWE star Titus O’Neil has been suspended for unprofessional conduct after he “playfully, physically” grabbed Vince McMahon during Daniel Bryan’s post-WWE Raw retirement speech this week.

That is a load of shit... i've always heard stories of guys cheesing it up with Vince... and now he is going to be a prick to this guy because he was playing around? i wouldn't be shocked if this is a work to see how many people they can get behind Titus and try and get him over huge with it... that's the work in the whole Bryan retirement.

otherwise he should just do what Batista said to do and ask for a release.

Although he was told he would be out for 90 days, WWE Superstar Titus O'Neil will be serving a 60-day suspension following a situation at this week's RAW that got the wrong kind of attention from Vince McMahon.

After grabbing the WWE Chairman during a segment on the show this past Monday night, O'Neil was informed of his suspension, as WWE officials told him he was being sent home for 90-days to serve a suspension for what they referred to as "unprofessional conduct."

While he was clearly not overly aggressive in his physicality with the 70-year-old WWE boss, McMahon was apparently not expecting to be grabbed when he was, as he instinctively reacted by pushing the 38-year-old WWE Superstar.

60 days is still a joke.

I read something somewhere it might have been something Titus said too that lead to the suspension. The suspension is stupid, well atleast the length is, it should have been for only a week or two. But Titus was stupid as hell too.

-- As reported earlier, Titus O'Neil has been suspended for 60 days and fined $5,000 for grabbing Vince McMahon by the arm as Raw went off the air last week.

-- According to backstage sources, Vince McMahon was livid and thus initially suspended him for 90 days before slightly cooler heads decided that it should be reduced to 60 days, amid a plethora of negative publicity. While many backstage have questioned why O'Neil was even suspended in the first place, one source stated to rajah.com that Vince was "kind of embarrassed" (at having been grabbed on live TV in front of everyone) and wanted to make a statement that unscripted actions like that on TV would not be tolerated.

-- O'Neil explained the incident a few days later by saying that he was simply trying to hold Vince back so that Stephanie could precede both of them, in a sort of a "ladies first" mentality.

60 days is still way, way too much for that.

The latest from O'Neil:

Titus O'Neil (Thaddeus Bullard) recently spoke with Rapzilla.com about the incident with Vince McMahon on WWE RAW that led to his 60-day suspension from WWE.

"I always believe in all things there’s always positives in it," O’Neil said. "I made a mistake at an inopportune time. Regardless if it was too harsh or overreacting or whatever people have deemed it, it all stems from my mistake. Whether I agree with it or not, I am owning it. I’m doing what I’d normally do in any other situation."

O'Neil also spoke about his friends telling him he should quit the pro wrestling business, pointing out to him that he has other work-related options.

"They’re right," O’Neil said. "I can go and coach, I can do a lot of stuff, but at the end of the day, I’ve never quit on anything in my entire life."

The "Prime Time Player" also addressed his future in WWE.

"I see now that people are rooting for me to be more successful than I am in this business," he said. "I’m going to finish out my contract and see what happens from there."

I found the last part interesting. "I’m going to finish out my contract and see what happens from there." Sounds like he has no interest in renewing his contract, whenever that is up. Would be a shame as he could be a good asset to WWE if they used him right and gave him a good push. Petty things like this though probably make him question whether he should stay with them after his contract is up.

Funny how this was such a huge story when it happened, but no one even noticed Titus when he returned! I really don't care for him talent wise. All he does is take up space really. Even if he is a great dude, I still don't enjoy watching him
